The Wilder: A Must-Stop for Cocktails & Cuisine
Despite missing our reservation time, the manager at The Wilder went above and beyond to accommodate our family as soon as a table became available. That level of hospitality set the tone for an unforgettable experience. Our server, Natalia, was pleasant, patient, and perfectly attentive.
Walking into The Wilder feels like stepping into an old-school speakeasy--but with a modern, stylish flair. The ambiance alone is worth the visit, but the cocktails and food take it to another level.
The standout drink? Good Fortune--a bold and unexpected mix of Suntory Toki Japanese Whiskey, gochujang, honey, pineapple, and lemon. As a devoted Old Fashioned fan, I was skeptical. Gochujang in a cocktail? I love it on noodles, but in my drink? Turns out, Good Fortune reminds us why it's worth trying something new. Let's just say, we ended up having more than one.
And the food? It could easily hold its own in any five-star restaurant. Just take a look at these menu highlights:
* Short Rib Empanada
* Camarones al Ajillo - Garlic Butter, Red Mizuna Mustard, Grilled Sourdough
* Octopus al Pastor - Pumpkin Seed Crema, Charred Kale, Roasted Pineapple, Matcha Salsa
* Scallops - Miso Sweet Potato, Crispy Brussels, Yuzu Brown Butter
* Tandoori Lamb Chops - Beetroot Chutney, Baby Heirloom Carrots
Close your eyes, point at the menu, and order--it's impossible to go wrong.
Thirsty, hungry, or both? The Wilder is a must-stop.
