The original brown sugar bubble tea with fresh cream and a unique tiger stripe design. Others have tried to imitate, but can't compare to the quality and care that goes into our 8-hour preparation.
"Tiger Sugar uses an eight-hour method for cooking its syrups and tapioca pearls. The result is a rich brown sugar syrup that marks the inside of cups with signature “tiger stripes” and boba pearls in varying sizes for a delightful texture while sipping. Go with the signature offering here — with black sugar milk tea, boba, and cream mousse." - Katie Swalm, Janna Karel
"Social media sensation Tiger Sugar from Taiwan debuts its Instagram star boba drinks to Las Vegas when it opens on Chinatown’s Spring Mountain Road on March 7 with long lines waiting to order its syrup and fresh mousse cream tiger stripe dessert drinks." - Susan Stapleton
"It looks like cult-favorite boba tea shop Tiger Sugar has plans to bring its third U.S. location to Carrollton, following the wildly popular shop’s debuts in New York City and Los Angeles. A job posting on Indeed indicates that Tiger Sugar has plans for a Carrollton location, though no address or opening timeline for that outpost has been made public just yet. According to Eater New York, the Taiwan-born chain was founded in 2017 and has since opened more than 40 outposts across the globe, including shops in Malaysia, China, Thailand, Canada, and the Philippines. As for the U.S., additional locations are currently in the works in San Diego and Las Vegas. While the menu may look much like that at any other boba tea shop, Tiger Sugar has earned Instagram fame thanks to its “tiger stripe” milk tea lattes crowned with cream mousse, which are named for the dramatic-looking “stripes” of caramelized brown sugar syrup that paint the inside of each cup. No word yet on when Tiger Sugar will make its DFW debut, but it is “urgently hiring” servers and supervisors for its Carrollton outpost. Stay tuned for more details." - Amy McCarthy
"Riding a wave of viral Instagram stardom and California and New York debuts so popular, restrictions were placed on the number of drink orders per person, Taiwan’s Tiger Sugar is promising to be coming soon to Spring Mountain Road. Created in Taichung, Taiwan, in 2017 and now expanded to more than 40 international stores, the house specialty is a dessert drink mixed with brown sugar syrup, tapioca pearls, and fresh milk, creating syrup ”tiger stripes” inside each sealed cup. Launching to long lines after its arrival in Brooklyn last summer, the Chinatown expansion will move into the former home of QQ Tea, located between Lindell Road and Hauck Street, in the commercial center next door to the recently opened Sweet Talk and The Noodle Man. Requiring a recommended 15 up and down shakes to create the desired effect, Tiger Sugar’s drink menu includes cream mousse, latte and black, or green tea variations. Yet to be confirmed for the Las Vegas outpost, in Asia the brand also serves boba milk ice bars. An estimated opening date has not been revealed." - Bradley Martin
