"You’ll think you’re lost as you turn the corner looking for this charming restaurant set right along the Little River in the Upper East Side. But hiding among the trees just under the nose of Biscayne Boulevard is Chef Deborah de Corral’s Argentinian bistro—warm with woven cane screens, intricate patterns and an arched ceiling.Named after a city north of Buenos Aires, the breezy dining room opens to a waterfront terrace, where Corral shows that she is not afraid of bold, bright flavors. Dishes like poached red prawns spiked with an aji amarillo-lime vinaigrette, and the 36-hour beef rib that's smoked, cooked sous vide and then grilled, drive home the point. A satisfying dulce de leche flan makes a sweet finale to this intimate experience." - Michelin Inspector

"Tigre is a beautiful Argentinian restaurant in the Upper East Side where you can bring a date or a few friends or, really, anyone who appreciates interior design and the color green. The small dining has a curved ceiling that sort of makes you feel like you’re in a very fancy cave - but the outdoor seating is where you want to sit. It’s organized along a little canal that - despite being just a baseball toss away from the hectic intersection of Biscayne and 79th - feels peaceful and secluded. The aesthetics are the selling point here, but the food is also good. There are some solid veggie options, like a simple, crunchy hearts of palm salad or tender roasted beets, but you’ll find bigger steak and fish entrees too. Whether you want to eat buñuelos or just have a few apéritif cocktails while looking for manatees - Tigre should be the answer next time it’s so nice out that you feel guilty being inside. photo credit: Laylle Digital Media" - Ryan Pfeffer

"Exudes and Argentina meets Miami feel. Housed right on the river, it serves up dishes like red prawn rolls, smoked and breaded pork chops, 36-hour smoked beef ribs, and swordfish steak." - Olee Fowler

I went for their Miami Spice menu and I had an amazing time. We sat outside and the heat and humidity wasn’t too crazy. Our food was delicious, drinks could’ve been a bit stronger but still good. Our waiter was very attentive. The moment my water would go empty she was right there to refill it.

Everything is great except for the most important thing: the food! -Ambiance: we went on a Saturday night and made a reservation prior. The deco is so glamorous, and the bar looks amazing. It's just great to have some drinks to kick off the night. It has an outdoor space, half covered and half opened. The view of the river is beautiful and it has a very nice vibe. - Service: Sebastián was our server, and we couldn't have had a better one. He was attentive and happy to help at all times. BUT THE FOOD: The menu option is not so big, so we were expecting high-quality food. We started up with a trio of croquetas, nothing extraordinary but not bad. Then we ordered NY steak and churrasco, and the disappointment began. The meat quality was not the best. The churrasco had no flavor, and it was too salty that they had to change. Both plates come only with the piece of steak that for the price ($45 each) you really expect quality and flavor, we did not get any especially being an Argentinian restaurant. We ordered some mushrooms on the side to share. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for some drinks as the bar is beautiful. I noticed they have brunch, so perhaps something more casual is the way to go, BUT don't come here and order steak. It is really disappointing. Also, they have valet parking only, $10 rate.

Great Argentinian spacious restaurant, fast service, staff and waiters are nice and friendly. Most important is that the food was good. Nothing to complain about. Outdoor seating by the canal was a great spot. $10 valet parking should have been included by the restaurant since it’s such a remote location

Nice location, decent food, bad service. I’ve been wanting for this restaurant to open for the longest. It is on my way home and it has the river scenery that is almost always very nice and calm. It did not disappoint. The have made it nice. The only sad thing was that on the other side there were homeless people. The food was not that tasty except for the steak that was good but undercooked. Many plates were overpriced. Beers were not in the menu and there were no draft options. The sunset outside calls for a nice cold beer. Our server was not friendly at all. A must for a fine cousin restaurant, or any restaurant. We had to ask multiple things to other people because he was not around. I wish I had a better experience to come back to it. Overall not worth the money.

Overall a flop. I was very excited to go and have a family dinner at Tigre, but what a disappointment. Overpriced, online menu is outdated, since the majority of the seating is outside, they should consider to put more fans to minimize Miami's summer heat. The entrance is hard to find since the outside landscaping is out of control and I understand that Deborah is trying to recreate Tigre (BsAs) atmosphere, but it looks abandoned and it is very hard to walk on a very narrow, concrete stepping stone path. The inside and the restrooms do not have a very good ventilation system, either. It smells like humidity and there are no napkins to dry your hands inside the restrooms. The lighting is intended to be warm and candid, however, after a while it is tiring for your eyes. When it comes to food...as soon as we got there, the greeter was very emphatic that they would show us our table as soon as our friends closed their bar tab. Normally, in any other restaurant the bar tab is transferred to the table or closed at the table, but they do not make you wait until the bar tab is closed. The food was not great, the portion for the swordfish (to share) $90.00 was not to share. The meloso rice has an overpowering red sauce that covers the rest of the flavors, and the dessert menu is is also outdated and not the greatest. The service was okay, a bit slow and the fact some of them wear "regular" street clothes made it confusing to distinguish them from the guests. I hope they can read my experience and improve their performance.

Excellent food and great service. We reserved on a Sunday and our server recommended some things to share from the menu. Everything was delicious, finely presented on the plate and we left happy with this choice. Ah… we sat outside an the view of the river is just relaxing and perfect for brunch time.

Hello. I have seen this spot changing through the years. I remember the greek ouzos and the italian restaurant that came after. Possibly something else before tigre but nothing else. I waited for deborah del corrals restaurant to open n finally it did open. Well, I had a good dinner here but I would like to mention a few things that got my attention tonight. I made a reservation, after waiting outside for a bit I dont know why, we had access to two of the four seatings at the bar. Plenty empty tables outside and inside. Hostess called me half an hour after my reservation time. Restaurant have had an amazing transformation since last time I have been there when it was still italian. Now it supposed to be argentinian but the menu doesnt look like except melon con jamon, some meat cuts or desserts. We had melon con jamon soaked in olive oil, tuna tartare with beet and strawberry sauce, crab croquettes, sea bass with side of mushrooms, and chocolate cake for dessert. I dont understand why they charge $5 for four pieces of bread. Argentinians do not pay a penny for bread back home. Especially after three appetizers, one main dish, one side dish, four drinks, and one dessert. Restaurant can lose customers for this insulting practice. To be honest food was excellent but all the portions were tiny. Too small. Service at the bar was great. Tks so much tigre!!!

I enjoy leaving reviews for places like this, after owning a restaurant and being in this industry for 14yrs one of my passion is trying new restaurants, new hidden gems and TIGRE is one of my favorite spots from now on. Sebastian our server was 5 stars service. He recommended us best plates. And suggested us to come back and try some others. Def we are coming back, loved this place
