The Best Face Masks Made by Restaurant Industry Favorites | Eater

"A maker of chef coats, aprons, and other hospitality workwear that rapidly pivoted to sewing cloth masks after a March 20 call for PPE; the founder cut a pattern and the team moved from ideation to production within hours. Early production relied on fabrics already on hand while elastic straps and shipping proved recurring hurdles, and the company has struggled with one-size-fits-all fit issues (structured prototypes either slipped or left gaps), prompting ongoing design improvements. Masks have been sold as part of a Buy 1, Give 1 program, with donations sent to a mix of medical facilities and food pantries, the products frequently shared by customers on social media, and the effort credited with keeping some staff employed until regular restaurant-focused workwear demand returns." - Ellie Krupnick

Fantastic pants, fantastic customer service. Ordered a few different styles and ultimately sent the Joggers back because I didn't like the fit on me personally, but joggers usually don't anyways so don't blame the brand. However the straight normal straight pants are very comfortable and look great. They expedited my return after I emailed them asking if they had received my return cause I wanted to buy more of the straight style pants. Then I proceeded to order 3 more pairs and I drunkenly picked navy instead of black. After I realized this in the morning I emailed customer service again to see if it was possible to change my color to black and they did it for me just in time before shipping saving me the headache of doing another return. Honestly buy their stuff. 5 stars

Worst costumer service I have ever experienced. I ordered black joggers. They sent me a yellow apron and charged my card for the joggers. I told them they sent me the wrong item and asked them to send the joggers I ordered. They said they didn’t have them available in my size.and suggested I order another more expensive pair of pants they had in my size. Then said they would only refund me when I send the apron back. Why would a company expect a costumer to spend more time, money, and a resources to receive something they didn’t order in the first place?! I’ve never had someone charge me for something and send me something else than tell me to return it and pay for something more expensive to get my money back?! Why do you expect customers to pay for your mistakes?!? Make this make sense!

Like some other reviews have said - I had a terrible experience with the delivery/customer service. I was sent the wrong item, and was told I had to pay a “modest restocking fee of $10” in order to get my refund (on top of the few dollars it takes to ship back). Mistakes happen, but making a customer pay for your mistakes is absurd. This was almost two weeks ago, and I’m still waiting for my refund. Tilit does make fashionable, durable chef clothing but I won’t be ordering from them again.

Fit and quality of the shirts were all poor. From 3 different styles, none were of any reasonable quality for the cost. Was denied refund on one shirt for a "stain" which was not a stain at all. Customer service was actually really good, though.

We are a restaurant in Dallas TX. Had high hopes ordering chef uniforms from Tilit. Also wanted support U.S. clothing. We have ordered 10 chef shirts. $90-100 per shirts. 8 shirts already have buttons fallen out. 2 we lost the buttons. And we have wore this less than 5shifts. I still can’t believe how these are made for chefs? So we reached out to the management about these problems. They told me to take a pic and send it I did. They said they can give me 5 dollars back. We spent 1grand. On this site. It’s just horrible customer service. Some guys fixed at home. Some guys paid 5 dollars sew back the buttons. Some paid $9 to fix this. It’s not the money it’s more of a quality . If you guys made a batch of clothes and maybe it’s just this batch of shirts. But isn’t recalling the shirts and refunding and protecting your brand image more valuable than making money of a 10 shirts or so? I hope people who read this don’t purchase these shirts. They don’t Even send you back up buttons. Also you guys should wear and check the shirts before you sell it to the customer.

Absolute trash customer service. Currently waiting on chef pants to be either sent back or delivered to get any sort of refund or replacement. The company messed up and put the wrong address and I am watching it go back and forth from city to city on the opposite side of my state. They will do nothing about it. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AS IT SEEMS THIS IS A VERY COMMON PRACTICE. I will advise all of my coworkers to do the same.

Horrible Customer Service. Ordered a lanyard, It was misdelivered, I asked for a replacement or refund and they told me they wanted to wait until a postal investigation was done. I reached out to the post office, they closed their investigation a week ago and I have yet to hear from Tilit. I paid $8.75 for UPS shipping and the post office told me they just sent it uninsured for $2.00 and if I wanted a replacement or refund I had to reach out to tilit directly. What a joke. Scam artists with poor customer service. I'll never shop with them again. Shame on you tilit.
