Titu - Review - Mayfair - London - The Infatuation

"Titu is one of the best value for money spots in Mayfair. This tiny gyoza specialist on Shepherds Market will feed you extremely well for around £40 including drinks. Obviously there are cheaper gyoza out there, but remember that this is Mayfair, and so the gyoza in question are filled with wagyu beef and foie gras. Just don’t go here for a quiet or intimate conversation, unless you want everyone in the restaurant (including the servers) to get involved. RESERVE A TABLE WITH RESERVE A TABLE" - Sam Collins

12 Mayfair Restaurants For When You Don’t Want To Spend A Lot Of Money - London - The Infatuation

"Specialising in anything is a feat. Apart from, like, picking your nose. But specialising in gyoza is really something. Imagine someone asking you what you did and replying “well, actually, I’m a gyoza specialist”. Power. Move. Anyway that’s what Titu, a little corner restaurant in Shepherd Market, is. Five chicken and foie gras (it’s Mayfair hun) gyoza will set you back just under £10, while other options are cheaper. There’s stuff like tacos and miso aubergine too, and it’s decent choice for a very chilled and inexpensive meal." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing

The Best London Restaurants For A £50 Dinner - London - The Infatuation

"You know the video of a kitten yawning that you come across when hungover and get a little teary eyed? Titu is almost as cute as that kitten. Almost. This Japanese spot in Mayfair, yes Mayfair, is not only a top date option but is also surprisingly affordable. It specialises in gyoza, but not just any gyoza. We’re talking gyoza filled with miso kimchi lamb, foie gras, and wagyu beef. " - Heidi Lauth Beasley, Jake Oliver

A 15-Seater Gyoza Restaurant Is About to Open in the Middle of Mayfair | Eater London

"Opening in Shepherd Market, this 15-seater from New Zealand chef Jeff Tyler is an all-day, gyoza-focused spot that emphasizes high-quality ingredients and quick service. The short, largely handmade menu features seasonal gyozas — including Wagyu beef with black pepper, spicy prawn with asparagus, and shiitake mushroom — alongside Asian-inspired salads and snacks such as crispy chicken wings, fried prawns, baby squid and a salad with soft-shell crab. Curated breakfast options (served Monday–Friday 07:30–11:00) include gluten-free green tea pancakes and oeuf à la coque with asparagus soldiers and watercress; lunch and dinner run Monday–Saturday 12:00–14:30 and 17:00–22:30, and all dishes are available to take away. Desserts include a tonka bean beignet. The 32-year-old chef brings experience from Roka, the Mandarin Oriental in Marrakech and Barcelona, and as opening head chef at Novikov in London, Moscow, Dubai and Sardinia." - Adam Coghlan

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 I recently dined at Titu and was thoroughly impressed. The sashimi platter was exceptionally fresh and the tacos were a playful, flavourful highlight that added a fun twist to the meal. The Thai Me Up cocktail was refreshing and well-balanced, a standout to pair with the courses. What really set the experience apart was the service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, offering thoughtful recommendations and making us feel well taken care of throughout the meal. Overall, Titu delivers a fantastic dining experience with high-quality ingredients, creative dishes, and standout service. Highly recommended!

Delicious food with interesting flavor combinations and really tasty homemade lemonades. The staff was wonderful and made us feel very welcome. Despite a small drink accident, it was an overall great dining experience.

Honestly everything about this place was incredible. The tastes, aesthetic, service - they smashed it. It is on the more expensive side but I do believe you’ll leave very satisfied

Popped in with a friend on an unplanned visit and were pleasantly surprised. We had tuna and unagi nigiri, spicy salmon roll, a vegetarian roll I’m forgetting the name of, and some wagyu and pepper potstickers. Potstickers lacked a little oomph, but the sea bass was excellent. Sushi rolls were good - nothing terribly exciting about them but I suppose that’s what you want with sushi. Everything tasted really fresh and the space is cute, albeit very compact.

Lovely impromptu dinner at Titu with delicious margaritas which we had quite a few of. Got there early and grazed on spicy edamame, the gyoza dream, duck salad and shrimp tempura. All were delicious and so tasty. Particularly enjoyed the duck salad! Lovely spot and very friendly service which we enjoyed. Wanted to go for a while and looking forward to going back.

Nice restaurant next to Green Park. From the moment you walk in you are captivated by a nice décor, warm lights and the gentle sound of house music in the background. We started with multiple starters and then proceeded to a few main dishes. The food is rich in flavour and the menu is quite exhaustive. I had as drink a beer but I'd personally recommend going for the teas because they are really good (my friends took them). The hibiscus was my favourite one. Overall the price was not too bad and I'd say to stop by if you are nearby

So... overall I am glad I visited but do not think I will return for the following reasons. The place is just too cramped. Really small venue with too many tables to comfortably be seated or to receive service. Service was friendly but the food is almost tapas based and you have very little space to place your plates etc. Gyoza were decent enough, my wife had the aubergine which she said was too sweet and I had the lamb chops which were delicious but very pricey for two pieces. Overall, while I didn't have a bad experience and the food was ok I am not sure I would recommend it unfortunately.
