"The name says a lot: This Aurora Korean joint makes its own tofu, so a bubbling bowl of stew featuring the soft, creamy stuff is a must. But it doesn’t tell the whole story of the menu, which also includes excellent seafood like soy sauce–marinated crab and braised, half-dried pollock with potatoes as well as staples such as spicy tteokbokki (rice cakes) and galbi jjim (short ribs). Wash it all down with soju or beer brewed by sibling Mono Mono in Lafayette." - Eater Staff

Very clean restaurant, like you would expect. Our son has been here and recommended it to us. We were seated quickly and our order was taken. We got several dishes to share. All the food was hot and delicious. I tried one of their in-house made beers, which was strong but tasty. Overall a very solid experience.

We were flying out of Denver and craving Korean food before heading back to DC. This place was fantastic. Delicious Korean food with great service! We will be back next time we are in Denver.

They have a few vegan options. Soon veggie tofu was delicious! The server took away one of the banchan when we reminded him that we were vegan, but he didn’t take away the kimchi. We didn’t have it because it seems like kimchi is not vegan typically. Would go again!

Absolute gem of a spot. The food was fantastic. The service was kind, friendly, and informative. The interior is clean, well designed, and comfortable. The Kimchi Soon Tofu was my favorite. The LA Galbi was tasty. All of the sides were great (the fish cakes were particularly fantastic). Can’t wait to return!

I ordered takeout and selected the galbi combo (selected budae tofu for the 2nd part of the combo). This was a dinner combo, not lunch!l (where portions AND prices would be smaller). They did not include any banchan (sides) at all. No kimchi, nothing. The stew was barely halfway filled in the container. It had good flavor but there was so little of it. The galbi option was expensive and the portion was also small. All the meat was cut up and stacked on a bunch of sliced raw white onion. For nearly $50 we got one container of rice, SMALL portion of budae jigae and small portion of galbi. Very disappointing!!

I’ve been here a few times and each time I go, the service just has been progressively worse 😵‍💫 Today was a deal breaker for me. The service was quite slow, I understand if the servers are busy; however, I asked for a new water jug because the one we originally received was dirty. When the waitress took the water jug, she spilled water on our banchan and table. Audibly made a noise she was surprised by this but didn’t say sorry or offer to clean up the mess she made. On top of all this, she gave us another water jug (the one in the photo), it still had grimy gunk around the rim, and didn’t have a lid because they ran out. The music for the entire time we were there was skipping like the phone connect to speakers was just out of range. It skipped consistently for the WHOLE visit. The men’s bathroom was also not very clean.

Google
They are ridiculously understaffed. Came here on a weekend day and there was only one waiter/host for the whole restaurant. The kitchen was really slow too. After receiving our main dish, we had to wait another 10+ minutes to get the rice, which was necessary with the food being quite salty. I came here for the soy marinated crab and was really disappointed. Overall not a great experience.

Cute place! Tried the beef ribs and tofu kimchi pot. Veggie pancake, chicken katsu were also great! The side dishes were very tasty! It was very good!

Yelp
This was our first stop in Denver and needless to say it set the bar. Transparently, no one from my group ever had tofu before so we were stepping out of our comfort zone. We were immediately greeted and seated by the sweetest woman. We all ordered various tofu soup combos. I got the LA combo that has the short ribs and MAN they were so juicy and flavorful. The seafood combo tofu was delicious! I especially loved the small plates we were provided - my favs were the Kimchi, squid, and cucumbers. I hope future tofu dishes I try are as great as this place.

Yelp
Tofu Story is not catering to the typical American palate. I am told this is everyday Korean fare. Manage your expectations more for a menu that serves standards without much enhancement or elevation. I am not deeply accustomed to the proper preparations of these Korean dishes so I am speaking as just some guy from Colorado with a decent amount of travel. We started with the Spicy Tofu Ramen. This comes visually impressive as a bubbling black ceramic bowl with a rich broth and ramen noodles. It's very flavorful and if you only enjoy this dish, you will not be disappointed. Next, arrived the Mapo Tofu. In my opinion, this is a disappointment. The tofu falls apart and appears to be added late in the cook as it fails to take on the ample bulgogi and pork sauce that dominates the plate. Again, in my opinion, this dish could be helped by serving it with a batter fried tofu instead of the soft, untreated cubes. It was a better dish as a leftover the next day, served over rice noodles and pan frying a crust onto the now-marinated tofu cubes. I feel the flavor ingratiate present but the preparation is ....lazy. To their credit, the service is attentive (when you realize each table has a call button) and the restaurant space is visually beautiful.

Yelp
Items ordered: -Seafood Pancake -King steamed Egg -kimchi tofu soup I would give 5 stars for the prompt service and kind server. The seafood pancake was solid and steamed egg was pretty good but priced a bit high. Tofu soup now being $18 is shocking but I guess thats how it is now days. The issue I had was with the tofu soup itself for being a tofu restaurant. The soup wasnt even hot where the raw egg that was added didnt even cook. I had to ask them to heat it up and then it was served hot and boiling. It was more like a porridge consistency and salty (in a sense of very overpowering flavor and spice) But the side dishes were great! Very clean nice restaurant vibe as well.

Yelp
Wanted to try Tofu House but they were closed for private event so we came back to this place. Still absolutely delicious. Service was great and I love the ambiance here. We started off with the braised rice cakes with spicy sauce and fried tofu. Spicy rice cakes wasn't for me but everyone else loved it. I love tofu so the fried tofu was great. Lightly fried and not soggy with oil. We all ordered the soon tofu combos and we shared the meat platters. We each had to pick a soon tofu of choice. There were 2 kimchi soon tofu, 1 seafood soon tofu, and 1 dumpling soon tofu. I really love the soon tofu here. So delicious. And the purple rice is so yummy to have with the combo! This is definitely one of my favorite places to come back too.

Yelp
Tofu Story blew me away. One of my friends asked me if I like tofu stew and I was so excited to hear about a place to get it. I'd seen Tofu Story advertised on Instagram through different people's reels, but hadn't committed to a visit until my friend took me there. The beef was so tender. I really appreciated that they included a spice scale that included some more mild options. I went with the standard and found it to be totally acceptable in terms of spice. The server got us situated quickly once we got there too. Everything comes out so fast! It was pretty quiet in the restaurant during the happy hour time frame on a Tuesday which was also nice. It really hit the spot. I hope to make it back this winter to enjoy it again!

Yelp
Walked into the restaurant and was well lit and clean. The place looked promising. Walking in around 750pm on a Monday night. Maybe 3 tables were filled. Was not busy however service was pretty slow due to only one server working. If I'm getting straight to the point - the food was bad. We got kimchi soondubu and cheese pork cutlet combo. The cheese 돈까스 looked nothing like what it looked like the picture on the menu. There was barely any cheese... also very dry and hard. Soondubu was also pretty terrible. The soup was so thick.. not enough water. And salty. It was almost like a stew consistency and that's just not how you're supposed to make soondubu. Also pretty greasy and I don't know how that just happens. Also got 떡볶이, couldn't even have a second bite cause overly sweet and had weird tab water taste... Never had any 떡볶이 like this in my life. Fried mandus were ok. Also idk why all the plates were sticky. Felt like they weren't very clean. Idk if it was due to the material. The server was friendly and that was the only good part about this place - hence why the 2 stars. My sister said this place wasn't this bad, I don't know what happened tonight but I will not be coming here again.

Alexanria J.

Yelp
Great friendly service, improved banchan (side dishes), and clean modern vibe with good food.

Tianrui D.

Yelp
I wish I had taken pictures!!! But the food was wonderful, especially the soy marinated shrimp. It was even better than the really expensive ones I had in NYC. It had the perfect amount of saltiness and the shrimp texture was great (it was not fishy at all). The seafood tofu soup was on point too.

Sehjal A.

Yelp
So incredibly delicious! Their tofu soup has such amazing flavor and is some of the best I've ever had. The Ddukbokki was alright, but their banchan was well flavored and delicious. Their servers were also quick, concise, and very helpful. I will definitely be coming back!!

Rebecca S.

Yelp
The Denver foodie group raved about this place and now I know why. The service was fantastic and the food was muah, chefs kiss. Cannot wait to bring my in laws here when they visit. Everything we ordered was great: Seafood pancake Spicy marinated crab Galbi w kimchi tofu soon - med spice level Purple rice What I would try next time: Fried flounder Bulgogi

Claire L.

Yelp
We had a great time here and actually enjoyed some hearty Korean food after the Korean sauna. The restaurant is new and clean. They are very popular so it can get a little busy between 3 servers. The ban chans are our favorite and almost finished our rice before our main course. The portions are big and can be shared between people. We got the soon tofu, galbi, and the pancake.

Chen-Tan L.

Yelp
Finally decided to try this place. Small and next to Seoul BBQ. Don't miss it! The tofu soup is delicious and so is the purple rice. And then the bang chan (?sp) freebie sides are wonderful. Service is prompt. Clean, utilitarian tables, like all excellent Asian strip mall places. You're not here for the ambience, though. You're here for the authentic flavors. And this place packs them in. We will be back. Maybe see you there next time?!

Shaina L.

Yelp
When we first walked in we were able to be seated right away. From the start, this restaurant is well designed and simple. It's modern and gives off a clean look. There isn't a huge amount of seating but if it were a busier day, I'd look at a 30min-1hr wait. This place is also not good for bigger groups of 6 or more. I will say, the service isn't top tier too. But the food did come out really fast. We didn't wait long for our food to come out. The place ranges about $20+ per person as well. Food: Combo 4/5 -- Kimchi tofu w/ galbi. The portions are small. They have about 6 pieces of meat. The tofu has so much flavor and character! Mandu soup 5/5 -- loved this. It was really hot for awhile but overall it was worth the wait! The soup had really good flavor but I had about 3 dumplings in my soup. Spicy marinated crab 3/5 - The flavor of the crab was really well seasoned and good! I wish the crab were a little bit bigger and had more meat. My crabs were small, with not a lot of meat in it. I took mine home and ate it because I didn't feel like digging in a pile of sauce for nothing at the restaurant (not that relevant). I would order it again if I was craving it! Overall, I would def come back! The quality of their food was great but hopefully their service would be next time too.

Yelp
When you walk in, it looks like a very clean location. It's very bright and each table has its own "privacy" with walls and pillars splitting it up. There's an outdoor patio if you're interested in eating outside. There are plenty of seats. Each table comes with a bell to signal a staffs attention. The tables come with a drawer for the utensils. Unfortunately, our table had none so we had to wait a while for them. Service was kinda meh but it looks like there was one person for the entire dining room. It comes with a nice variety of banchan or sidedishes. I didn't know that so I ordered the kimchi soon tofu. But the kimchi was really good. There's a nice variation of spicy and non-spicy sides plus a green salad so you get your veggies in. The kimchi soon tofu was quite good. I like how soft the tofu was. It came with tiny pork belly pieces and a choice of white or purple rice. If you want something healthier, purple rice would be the way to go.

Yelp
This place is awesome! I saw a video of this place on instagram where they showed themselves making homemade tofu and I knew that I had to try this place! I would say that this is probably one of the better Korean restaurants in Aurora. It definitely has deeper flavors without an artificial taste to it. There is plenty of seating here and ample parking!

Lily W.

Yelp
I love soondubu and crave it even on hot days, so when an errand brought me to Aurora I had to come check this place out. The restaurant has plenty of seating and there was no wait for a Friday evening. Service is prompt and attentive, and food comes out super fast! I ordered the mushroom soondubu which to my surprise does not come with an egg which I had always thought was standard. If you want an egg you need to order it in addition. I was also a bit disappointed my soondubu was mild at best when I had ordered it spicy. However, mushroom portion is extremely generous, the broth is very flavorful and the tofu which they apparently make in house was perfectly silken! The banchan were ok at best, the flavors were just not very strong and kimchi especially was not the best I've had.

Perci T.

Yelp
This place was really good. The star was the tofu and you can buy extra to take home.

Bee W.

Yelp
Was so excited for Mile High Asian Food Week that we went a week early. :) oh well, it was bonding time with my son so I didn't mind that we were early. I chose the seafood tofu and he had the beef tofu. Also a side of tofu karaage. There were a good selection of banchan and I was glad to see cucumber kimchi as part of them. I love cucumber kimchi. The bean sprouts were also delish with the seasoning. We received both hot and cold water tumblers to drink. The server also brought out the utensils from the little drawer. The tofu soup dishes came out piping hot and bubbly. We had side orders of white rice to soak up the soup in. The amount of seafood in the dish was fine and no squid or octopus so I was happy. It's a texture thing for me. Cooked just right. His beef tofu was delish too. He had to get more rice and then realized he forgot the tofu karaage. By that time he was too full. It was fun to watch them make tofu next to us in the tofu making room. They were nice about my week early thing and had adjusted my receipt before verifying and then had to take the discount away. Sad panda but worth the price anyways. Definitely recommend. Shared parking lot.

Corinne H.

Yelp
Dinner last night was fantastic! Hubs and I both did combination soup/entree meals. Galbi/combination soup and bulgogi/seafood soup. Everything was incrediblly delicious. All of the side dishes were eaten twice over. One of the best soondubu soups I've had in the area. Our waitress was great and the restaurant is very clean. I love that they make the tofu in house and that you can buy it raw for such a reasonable price.

David C.

Yelp
I am very happy with all the new Korean restaurants popping up in Colorado (specifically in the Aurora area). Most of them have been great and some not so much. Unfortunately, this restaurant was on the not so great side. We ordered the soy sauce marinated crab and the pork bulgogi soon tofu combo. For the soy sauce marinated crab, it's not supposed to be full of meat but we thought what we received was a little extreme. For $20+, the amount of meat we received was probably one spoonful and the sauce tasted like straight soy sauce as opposed to a more complex sauce that it is supposed to be. The pork bulgogi soon tofu combo was also a bit disappointing. The bulgogi was room temperature even when served on a hot stone plate and tasted like the pre-made ones you can buy at the grocery store. The soon tofu was also interestingly not as hot as I would've wanted even when served on a hot stone bowl. The taste of the soon tofu was decent but not as rich as I've had before. To wrap the food up, the banchan (side dishes) were also lacking. Specifically, the three kimchi (cabbage, cucumber, radish) were bland and not refreshing/spicy/fresh tasting. I decided to add a star to this review because the service we received was good especially considering it was busy and there were only 2 servers. The atmosphere is also very clean and modern.

Amanda C.

Yelp
Tofu Story is a great place to grab Soondabu (Korean soft tofu soup) and one of the few places that offer marinated raw crabs. All orders came with a variety of tasty banchan (small side dishes). We ordered the mushroom soondabu, and spicy marinated crab. Had a choice of white rice or purple rice as well with the entrees. A great place grab a meal with soju, and service was wonderful. PSA: Many Korean restaurants have a table button to call for service when something is needed or desired after ordering. It's part of the dining culture and unless you press this button, you're left alone. It's customary and I think those that left a review based on "lack of service" should take it with major grains of salt.

Heather G.

Yelp
Wow. Interesting dishes that were simply delish! Have now been three times! Beware when they say hot, because it's truly hot!

Riel W.

Yelp
The two servers were just amazing! They were so kind and fast and they even recommended me the La Galbi so I tried it and it was amazing! Definitely going to back to this place

Annette T.

Yelp
The interior is very clean and modern. I thought it was a bit pricey at first but the quality is great and they give you so many sides! I had the beef soon tofu (no spice since my throat was irritated that day) and my partner had the regular spicy pork soon tofu. Both were delicious and we left feeling so full! Staff are very kind as well. I left the restaurant forgetting to grab my credit card from the check folder and one of the staff came out to look for me. Thankfully we hadn't driven away yet! Love this place and will be back.

Jessica J.

Yelp
I'm pretty biased to Tofu House because of all the nostalgia it holds, but Tofu Story is pretty good too! They have a menu full of different kinds of SoonDubu and combos, which is really great. They also seem to have a lot more seafood options, but I haven't tried any seafood from here and I can't say whether it's worth it or not. Service was fine, just like any other Korean restaurant. The inside of this place is super cute, however, and it's probably one of my favorite things here. It has a modern feel too it and has the utensils in the table which I'm always a fan of! Again, I like Tofu House better-but something that sets this place apart is that they actually make their tofu in house!

Michael H.

Yelp
Ambiance: new, clean, modern, and fresh Service: our server Matthew did a fine job. No complaints. Food: It could be it's a case of "it's not you-- it's me." Maybe we just don't like Korean food. The food was hot and fresh. We had 3 appetizers: cheesy pork katsu, pan fried tofu, haemul pajeon. My wife and I wanted to like this restaurant and we know that it has gotten mostly great reviews. But neither of us were really impressed with the flavors. We both love Asian food. Our favorites are Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese, and Chinese which we enjoy 3-4 days/week. Korean is perhaps an acquired taste that we have not yet acquired.

Xian C.

Yelp
Tofu Story is my favorite spot to eat soondubu in the Denver area! Their stews are super flavorful and satisfying and I love how I can choose to get purple rice with it instead of white-- an option that is pretty rare in the area. On top of their excellent tofu stews, they also have marinated raw blue crab on the menu! I was a little surprised to see them (since its Colorado) but the crab was flavorful and fresh. Such a fantastic Korean spot!

Sara C.

Yelp
Honestly I've got very little experience/knowledge of Korean food but I saw people recommending this restaurant on Facebook and we love tofu but I can't cook it to save my life. I looked the menu over before going and had no idea what to expect. I really enjoyed this meal. We ordered the cheesy pork katsu appetizer and the combo entree with tofu stew with dumplings and bulgogi. We got the stew mild and it was still a little spicy for me (I know I'm weak ) but it was delicious, I especially enjoyed the dumplings in the stew. The sides were all interesting, not sure I could describe them really. The bulgogi was the best part for me!! It was soft and tender and so full of flavor, a little smoky a little sweet. I could eat that everyday. We also got tea and I am always disappointed in tea but I loved the tea they had. We got pomegranate blueberry and maple walnut. The katsu was good and very cheesy but nothing memorable taste wise.

Kiet G.

Yelp
Tofu story a nice casual sit down establishment. They serve a variety of tofu and some bone based soups along with a decent arrangement of bon chon and entrees (non-soup). This place is funny. One side of the dining area has nice light fixtures with no light bulbs while the other side does. Their window shades aren't wide enough to block the sun and they the sunset blinded members of my table. Clean bathrooms. The restaurant space is huge and clean. Service is good. There's a button on the table to ping the wait staff. They're very fast. Now to the food. The seafood tofu soup was quite standard. I ordered spicy but it was quite mild and had no kick. Which is funny because they have a spice range that starts at "white-mild/regular-spicy". The tofu soup had mussels, shrimp, and maybe another shellfish. It was quite tasty. There was a lot of tofu throughout as well. The LA galbi bones were charged over a bed of onions and the meat was cooked well, there was a nice smoky flavor. There was also a decent amount of it. The Bulgogi was quite sweet and tender. The order of soy marinated crab (small) came with 4 whole blue crabs. This was quite salty. It was good but the saltiness was overbearing and I had to fight to finish 2 whole crabs. It is marinated quite well with different peppers. I did not have a chance to try the spicy marinated raw crab unfortunately but my friends told me it is good if not better than the soy marinated raw crabs.

Roger M.

Yelp
Slow service, really didn't feel appreciated much at all, felt like unhappy overworked employees. We sat in a booth, there is a buzzer on the wall you ring if you need help, they do come pretty soon.......... The Tofu is really good fresh organic firm Tofu, good, but not really delicious. I had the deep fried Cheese Kontatsu was dry, and very light on the Cheese. As expensive as it was, We really expected something delicious, not this time, just ok. Everything looked beautiful, but just tasted ok. They serve warm water, not tea, not Ice water, just warm water. Maybe I just don't get home cooked Korean, but this won't be a favorite.........

Cindy T.

Yelp
When i first heard they had marinated cream i had to come try Honestly I've had better but these are ok They were a bit salty and it didn't taste as fresh as i would've liked I'll have to come back another time to try again to see if its different

Steven S H C.

Yelp
Finding out that Tofu Story has a restaurant in Queens and one on Havana street is the CO location. NY Tofu Story menu is different but knowing they are from Queens, I would have to give automatic thumbs up when it comes to flavors. Up on entering, this restaurant has very modern and clean feel to it and loved how the layout gives lots of privacy and noise control at the same time. Not just being new but results of well planned and designed restaurant. I had my BUDAE SOON TOFU which was very unusual taste compare to other tofu restaurants I have frequented in the past. It was very unusual but probably one of the better tasting ones at it. My soup had stew like consistency and very rich flavor. Overall, very clean and quick service definitely will bring me back to this restaurant. Hope they will be serving the cold noodle dishes too like Queens location.

Blu M.

Yelp
I love all these Korean spots opening up in Aurora. Tofu House specializes in home made tofu and spicy soups, they also are known for their soy marinaded crab. I got their LA Ghalbi, which I didn't get a picture of and their soon dubu. The beef was tender and super flavorful, they gave a generous portion. The soup was perfectly spicy , and you can pick your spice level. It was enjoyably spicy and full of flavor, tofu was silky, and it didn't come with an egg so I realize next time I gotta ask for an egg I think. The side dishes were delicious as well. I don't like kimchi too sour, and prefer more fresh kimchi. The cucumber kimchi was lovely and everything tasted nice and fresh. My only thing is the soy marinaded crabs were just too fishy tasting for me and I just was not vibing with it. I know some people really love that stuff but for me it was a bit much.

Jessica P.

Yelp
I was so impressed with this place. I came in on a random Tuesday afternoon where only one other party was dining at the time, and the service was great. The restaurant was just so clean, and I loved how it was decorated (down to the plateware they use). What was really impressive is that it also didn't smell of garlic like I would normally expect from a Korean restaurant. Most importantly, the food was incredible! I was super excited to see gejang on the menu and did not hesitate to order it. It definitely did not disappoint, and I would happily order it again. Additionally, their banchan was GREAT. Will definitely be back to try their sundubu!

Damian W.

Yelp
Yummmmmm alert!!! The place just open but is already packed with ASIAN!!!! SO YOU KNOWN IS GOOD!!! is clean and the service is great! We order the Combo perfect for 2 people. You can pick different combinations of plates and hot tofu soup. The intestines tofu was perfect for a cold day. We also order the cheese pork chop. It was so yummy with the curry dip sauce. We will DEFINITELY BE BACK!!!!!!!

Steffi H.

Yelp
Just moved to the area and have been exploring the restaurants around town; super excited to have found this spot! Owned by the same people as the hot pot spot next door, this restaurant specializing in tofu is delicious. They home make their own tofu and have a variety of tofu soups to pick from along with a few other options -- galbi, marinated crab, some rice dishes as well. Went with my partner and a friend (who's Korean) and we each got a tofu soup along with the seafood pancake. The seafood pancake was delicious -- crispy on the edge and flavorful. The tofu soups were also really great - a regular spice level had a bit of a kick but also really flavorful and filling. And the banchan offered was also pretty quality. Though pricy, definitely worth a visit!

Mary Jeneverre S.

Yelp
The restaurant is clean, orderly and fun atmosphere. We did not wait long to grab a table for two. Utensils were kept in a drawer under the table - I've never seen that before. I appreciate how everything is organized. The wait staff was approachable, friendly and charming. The service did not take long at all, even though the place was packed with the lunch hour rush during the middle of the week. For appetizers, we placed an order for Whole tofu with house sauce. It was delicious and simple. I enjoyed the dietary benefits of tofus, so I'm excited that I could eat this appetizer without any worries of gaining additional pounds. For the main course, I ordered the fish entrees. The waitress was kind enough to notify me that it would take 20 minutes but it did not take that long at all. It was the grilled yellow conker. What a great surprise. It was delicious with tons of spices, yet had a pretty sweet flavor at the end of the bite.

Cindy L.

Yelp
Wonderful, freshly made soft tofu! The service is prompt, just use the button at the table to call for service. The parking lot can be crowded, so grab the first spot you see or you'll end up parking on the far side of the lot.

Vickie M.

Yelp
Clean and nicely decorated restaurant. Like the simple/ clean style of the restaurant and the food is very good with pretty reasonable price points. Will definitely come back and recommend to our friends and families. Service is good and fast. If the waiter can explain a little more about the menu will be helpful. But over all we really like our experience here.

Sandy F.

Yelp
The last time we came it was great. But this last time the services was lacking. The food was burned--even the soup tasted burned. The side dishes were fine and the softshell crab was good. My parents won't be coming back but I'll see how I feel after a while.

Stella N.

Yelp
Very nice place! We had the galbi jjim and it was packed full of flavor! The rice cakes and noodles soaked up all of the broth and you just couldn't get enough. All of the banchan was very good and my sister who normally doesn't like kimchi enjoyed the kimchi here. Everyone there was very friendly and we always had what we needed. We left with full bellies and a smile on our faces. The go to spot for your Korean comfort food!

Yelp
This place is very new. It's right next to Seoul BBQ. I originally had no idea about this place, but my sister said she wanted to try it out. We went very late on a weekday, and they seemed a little understaffed. But our waiter was very nice and helpful throughout the whole meal. The ambience is nice in there but it's definitely a bit dark in terms of lighting. For the food, the bonchon was pretty good, although I do prefer Seoul BBQ's better. But if you're craving Soon Tofu Stew then I'd definitely come here because it is delicious! I will say the japchae comes hot and that the spicy raw marinated crabs did make me and my sister have an allergic reaction. Not sure what it was. Will probably come here again!

Yelp
Korean marinated raw crab went viral recently and I tried it for the first time while I was on a trip to Los Angeles. I was beyond excited to find out there was a place that sold them in Colorado!! It was a generous portion. Not too spicy, but very flavorful. I've had Tofu Story twice, once dining in and once while ordering through delivery. Both times I was not disappointed. The quality of the food was excellent. The restaurant is so clean and the staff are very kind.

Yelp
My phone died when I ate here so sadly I couldn't not give you visual representation of this delicious meal. I'm still dreaming about the in-house made tofu from this place. Those that know me know I don't exactly like tofu all that much. I will normally avoid it if I can, unless I'm eating Soondubu. But the pan-fried tofu is was so delicious. I don't think I will ever eat store bought again. The service was a little slow because they were so busy, but honestly worth the wait. It was bustling even for a Wednesday. Sounds of clinking and conversation filled the air. It felt very homey. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Fun Fact: Tofu Story in Aurora makes all of their tofu in-house. My exploration of Korean cuisine went to the next level at this spot on Havana Street. Don't get me wrong, I love me some KBBQ, but that is just the tip of the iceberg with what Korean food has to offer. * Mapo Tofu~stir fried tofu and group pork in spicy sauce; I am no tofu connoisseur, but hands down, this is the most silky, velvety tofu I've ever had. Seafood Pancake~an amazing appetizer to share with the whole table. Pressured Rice~an upgrade from the regular rice, it comes to you in its own mini pressure cooker. * I've never been to Korea, but the atmosphere of this place gave me the sense that not only was I experiencing some authentic food, but an authentic vibe as well. With a welcoming and helpful staff, this is a great place to expand your experience in Korean cuisine.

Yelp
The raw marinated crabs were very disappointing as it did not taste fresh and smelled like fish. There were little to no meats and lacked flavor all together. The soup on the other hand was good and spicy! The inside is very clean and the service was excellent.

Yelp
The service and the staff are always so nice and attentive. But the food...I crave their soup every week. The food is so good here.

Yelp
Cute Korean restaurant in Aurora. Came in for the soondubu which was piping hot but so comforting. Galbi ribs came to the table on a sizzling platter. Banchan was delicious. Very nice modern restaurant where they make their own tofu. Parking can be a challenge as it's in with a few other Asian restaurants.
