"Not even the Braves leaving Turner Field (now Center Parc Stadium, home to the Georgia State Panthers) has stopped the crowds from swinging by for smoked wings by the pound at Tom, Dick, & Hank. While the restaurant also prepares wings fried and tossed in dry barbecue rub, it’s the smoked wings that really took off here. The flavor goes deep to the bone of both the flats and mini drumsticks. While the restaurant is still one of the best places near downtown Atlanta to watch sports, it’s the wings that win every time." - Mike Jordan, Eater Staff

"Some come in for the club vibes, others are there because someone told them about their smoked wings (maybe that was us). Either way, they all discover that tasty, sticky barbecue is not at all contradictory to a party-like social scene. Parking is a bit of a brain teaser, but after that you’ll make your way up to the shaded rooftop of this barbecue spot on Ralph David Abernathy between Downtown and Summerhill. Get the ribs or the smoked wings, and smother them with their zesty, housemade Carolina barbecue sauce, our preference over their semi-sour traditional sauce. And if you’re not in the mood for hookah smoke with your smoked ribs, there’s a more low-key dining space on the ground level." - demarco williams, jacinta howard

First time here, found out after leaving the GA aquarium and so glad we did!! Delicious food and the two barbecue sauces they had were so good! Atmosphere is kinda bar like with music and sports on TV but we had the family and it was fine sitting downstairs. If you wanna sit upstairs it's 21 and up. Food came out quickly. We had chicken wings, turkey leg, chopped barbecue, pork ribs, fried shrimp and catfish with fries, Mac n cheese, baked beans and ceaser salad, 4 waters...$110. Shout out Duke our waiter who was great!! You would miss it if you weren't looking for it and it's payed parking or street parking, so keep yours eyes open. I will definitely come back when I'm in town!

Long wait for food and it was cold, can smoke hookah ($40) and drink on rooftop with music (nice vibe). Small area, must seat yourself (stand around until others get up) then wave a server down. Dry rub wings are good, server & hookah girl had great service. Gratuity added to all parties.

The food here is A-1!! Everything is well-seasoned and delicious. I had the oysters and the grilled shrimp with corn and collard greens. I have no complaints about any of it. I was also able to try the fried fish and macaroni and cheese, and it was really good as well. The only hiccup was not knowing that we should have gone at a different time. It was a date night and we were looking for good food and a romantic vibe...well, there was no romance, but the food was good. It’s on the same block with other night clubs, and has its own club vibe on the roof. We were shocked to have our personal belongings checked and my husband’s pockets emptied before we were permitted to walk in. I get it. Those are safety measures for the party-goers on the roof. However, we weren’t one of them. Perhaps we should go earlier in the day to avoid the “club bouncer” treatment we received to dine there, but we would definitely return for the good food and the friendly service from the wait staff.

The venue was clean and empty. Staff nice. We had a group of sixteen. We arrived at 1:15 and Happy hour was at 2:00. I tried to order tap water but they don’t have that option only bottled water. A sweet tea does not actually come in a standard cup but smaller or shorter cup which I captured in the picture. Golly it’s sweet tea. The fish bites were very salty, Mac n cheese was ok and the vegetables was good. The concept of fish bites that has bones was a terrible choice. My other associates said the food was ok but doesn’t care to return. The parking only has 6 spaces 🤦🏽‍♀️. The food came quickly it seems as soon as your order is placed it goes to the kitchen. Our drinks came after our food. I feel they nickel and dime you. $3 for a sweet tea and you get half the average size and pay for any water you want from here. First and last visit.

I love Wednesday 10 for 10.... Peach panties for drinks .... The vibe is good. Nice happy hour with good specials. I've visited both for a lunch meeting and after work. Kind of small downstairs tho... The overall service is pretty good but I have ran into a poor server but management did a good job addressing the issues. They tend to be a bit slow at the bar sometimes, but overall it's a good time, great prices and good food

I ventured upon this place and decided to give it a try. I visited the restaurant after lunch time around 2pm and there was no wait. We were greeted upon entry by the waitress. It’s a small restaurant but gives you super chill vibes and provides a sense of comfort. The bartender was my server and he was super nice and checked on us multiple times throughout my dining experience. I got the BBQ chips and added shrimp to them. They were good and the shrimp was even better, as it was seasoned just right, juicy, and plump. My only recommendation would be to add more queso cheese to the chips. I also ordered a Caesar salad with blackened catfish. The salad was a nice size and had enough parmesan cheese and dressing on it. The catfish was light and moist, side note the shrimp taste much better. I would definitely come here again to check out some more items on the menu. Service was good, food was good! Only semi issue would be parking may be hard to find, if you visit during busier times other than that no complaints at all!

My new favorite casual bbq spot! I love the outdoor/indoor bar atmosphere! The music and service are always a vibe when I come. And the food is bussin!!! For those of you don’t know what bussin means, it is delicious! Very flavorful and huge portions for all of my eaters out there.

Yelp
We came here on Saturday to catch a vibe and some good drinks and food. Had high hopes for TDH but left feeling unsatisfied. First the customer service is lacking here is lacking. It took some time before anyone came to our table and then even more time before we were offered drinks. It took about an hour for the food to come out and we were told twice that they did not have the items that we ordered, basic items such as Mac and cheese. That was disappointing of course but we made substitutions and still eagerly awaited our food. We heard our waitress making fun of one of the people in our party and that was disappointing as well she was laughing about the fact that they did not have an item we ordered and how they were just going to put something else on the plate. At that point we were less than excited about our food. The food finally came and the turkey legs I ordered were dry and hard to chew. The skin was very tough. They came with baked beans instead of the macaroni that I wanted so that wasn't as good as it could've been. Also the drinks were weak and did not really get us tipsy at all. I noticed that gratuity is included so I believe that's why we didn't get the best customer service. I do not believe I will go back to TDH at all. Hopefully others have a better experience there.

Yelp
Finally went to Tom Hank and Dick, the food was amazing. Our order was taken by Hank one of the owners, who treated us to the smoked oysters + we ordered the smoked wings both were delicious. Our entrees.... Turkey burger(handmade) and cooked to perfection, fried catfish/ shrimp was so good with sides. Will definitely go back to try other menu items.

Yelp
I came here after Homecoming after hearing lord of folks talk about it. It was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a while. Firstly, it took our server close to 15 minutes to come take our order, despite it not being super busy. He wasn't very friendly, and he took a long time to even bring us water. Our glasses were empty for a while, and then we had to flag someone else down to get us more to drink. The food came out eventually, and it was ok tasting but there were so many errors that it was frustrating. I don't think I would return here because the prices don't reflect the service or food.

Yelp
Food, drinks and hookah! What more can you ask for?! The Mac and cheese wasn't my favorite but I'm VERYYYY particular with my Mac and cheese. The ribs, the Ceasar salad and the cornbread on the side were amazing! They have a dj playing the hits, a nice rooftop and not too crowded. This place is great for a meal or just to vibe. I highly recommend this place,

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
Really cute spot for lunch if you're downtown. They open at 11:30 and Happy Hour starts at 12pm, Monday - Friday. Came on a Friday for lunch around 12pm. The bartender was our server for the entire restaurant. She was fast, but the restaurant was pretty fill by the time we left. Ordered the beef brisket planter with greens (but they brought out Mac and cheese so I kept it) and a side house salad. The salad was good, nothing spectacular. Lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, onions and cheese. Dressing is important and the ranch was super thick and creamy. The brisket was AMAZINGLY tender, juicy and well seasoned! One of the best that I've had. Just a tad fatty, but the meat was great!! The Mac and cheese is very creamy!! Not seasoned much, but it hit the spot. The cornbread muffin was light, fluffy, moist and sweet. Enjoyed it at the end as it reminded me of dessert. Definitely coming back to try to happy hour specials!

Yelp
I love the Atlanta food scene. It definitely makes an Angeleno like myself want to pack up and move there to live out my foodie dreams and live happily every after. Until then, I'll settle for visits to A-town. If soul food/comfort food is your thing...and you like an energetic atmosphere, TDH is the place for you. The patio is great if you enjoy loud music. But if you want something quieter, I'll advise to dine downstairs or order to go. Menu items didn't disappoint. I ordered a Smoked Plate with wings (half dozen) and my 2 sides were collard greens and Mac & cheese. My cocktail of choice was the Hennessy Peach Tea. I enjoyed everything. I was too stuffed from my meal to try a dessert. I'd definitely visit again when in the city.

Yelp
The website promised great BBQ, but they didn't exactly deliver. Location and Parking TDH is located on Pryor Rd, near 656 Bar and Grill. Parking is only on the street but it's usually free unless there's an event in town. Venue and Atmosphere The restaurant is clean with simple but sleek decor, and the upstairs patio is nice. They have the obligatory grass wall, but what else is new. Service Our waitress was nice but she was a bit overwhelmed and rightfully so: she was the only server upstairs with 2 large tables plus our group of 5. Staffing seems to be an issue, but I understand why post COVID. Gratuity is included, of which I'm not a fan. Food and Beverages The food could've been better. A LOT better. I had the brisket and my partner had pulled pork. Both were served lukewarm and flavor was severely lacking. The sauce did not help much. The collards were a bit too sweet. The mac and cheese was good, but overall they lost major stars with the food. The beverages were flavorful and strong, so that's a plus. Verdict With all the great BBQ in Atlanta, the Mac and cheese isn't going to save this place.

Yelp
Stopped by here on a Friday around 5pm and it was already pretty crowded! My party of 2 managed to get seated quickly. We ordered short ribs and Caesar salad to start that was delicious. Food came out quickly. Monday - Friday there's happy hour until 8pm so the apps were only $5 each. For our entrees we got the chose 2 platter and I got the brisket and pulled pork. Sides of mac and cheese and collard greens. My only gripe was you were only provided with forks which made it hard to tear the brisket apart. Super delicious and a lot of food - we couldn't finish it all! Would come back.

Whitney L.

Yelp
We sat on the roof top/patio. It was cold in Atlanta that day but it was warm up there. I'm happy they had a veggie combo because I was gonna just finesse something on the menu so I could eat it. My food was good. I was surprised the vegetable medley wasn't like frozen California blend. The zucchini was grilled great and tasted good. The Mac and cheese was good as well. Also, I'm happy they made their greens without meat. The cornbread was dry. Two negative things, well maybe 2.5 negative things. 1) why is your employee smoking hookah while working? I know nobody was really up there but still it's unprofessional. 2) I got charged wrong for a drink. All the specialty cocktails on the menu aren't the same price . The waitress did they were but I was too tired to argue with her . If the price is incorrect you need to update your site or tell the patrons after they scan the QR Code. (Nothing wrong with her service at all, she was great). 3) 20% gratuity and they have to split it with everyone? I'm glad they listed it in the menu but people don't want to tip after that. Overall, may visit when I'm in town. Just depends.

Yelp
Ah Atlanta where every restaurant feels like they need to turn into a lounge. This is my second time coming here. The first time I dined downstairs this time we went upstairs. Downstairs has club booth type seating with brighter lights while the upstairs patio has a wrap around bar, tables, booths and hookah. Yes bbq and hookah. The fried shrimp is SOOOOO good and the only reason I want to go back the portions are getting smaller yet the food is getting pricier ($5 bottled water Im looking at you). When I came in May the drinks were served in normal cups, I dont mind paying extra for flavored lemonade but $5 (plus $2 refills) in a cocktail cup is type crazy. The food walks a fine line between being well seasoned and too salty. Service leaves a bit to be desired & gratuity is automatically included. I say 3 stars my boyfriend says 2.5

Edwin P.

Yelp
So.. I wish I could give this 5 stars because I actually love the food and drinks here. I only have 2 issues. 1) They have a great happy hour options - BUT NOT ON FRIDAYS!! ..How do you not offer Happy Hour on Fridays?? ... That was a big miss for me. 2) I love coming here and sitting at the rooftop at the bar but I don't like the fact that 20% gratuity is already tacked on. ... . So overall I'm conflicted.. food is good, service is friendly but those two things really bother me. Check this place out.

Jai B.

Yelp
I found the food OK prices was a little overpriced with me. I was recommended by a friend. People were very friendly. I would try it again. I will try it again. Nice to go for a little outing some quick to eat so I will try again. I will give it like at six.

Yelp
Tom, Dick, and Hank restaurant was a nice warm welcome to Atlanta. We had excellent service and everything tasted fresh and homemade. I ordered the pulled chicken plate and added more bbq sauce. The chicken was tender and had good flavor, but the creamy/savory Mac and cheese and corn bread muffin stole the show.  I've never had a corn bread muffin so moist and flavorful! The greens were also very tasty. My daughter ordered the 4-bone pork ribs, and let me tell you the meat fell RIGHT off the bone. Perfect flavoring, I'd say they didn't even need bbq sauce. Also ordered the Mandarin Mule specialty cocktail. I only needed the one!! The citrus was present and so was the vodka. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here.

Yelp
Well Tom, Dick & Hank was quite the disappoint. After I finished my work this morning near Downtown Atlanta, I decided to place a to go order at Tom, Dick & Hank. I was excited as this would be first time trying their BBQ and since I was nearby it would be a good lunch to take home. At 11:45am, I went to place an order and found out I could only place it online. I went online to place an order and I could only place one at the College Park location. Disappointing as that was out of my way but I said oh well. Let me order. So I placed an order at 11:53am (yes at College Park, see attached photo) and drove 17 minutes there. I get there. Parked at a lot down the street. Walk over only to see a sign on the door that says we don't open until 1:00PM. I walk back to the car and call. But the number provided on the receipt didn't work. I called Toast Tab (the platform that they use for online orders), they couldn't help as they don't help customers. I called another number, no one answered. So I called the downtown location. A man answers and he says they are open. I tell them they are not. So he calls and they say they don't have an order. And I'm like well I ordered. (At this point I really just wanted a refund which is what I said when he answered). Eventually he asks what I ordered, repeated it and said you can go get it. So I walked back to the restaurant. And the girl says you placed it at downtown (wrong) and they are fixing it. So now I DRIVE BACK the way I came wasting gas to get my meal. I get there and the man working there says they don't have my order. You sure you placed it at the right place. I tell him what happened. So he goes to back to ask for a rushed order. I truly appreciate the man at the bar who worked to make it right. He was the only helpful person. When I finally got home, it was 2:00PM. Almost 2 hours wasted. And the food was just ok. I will not return. Maybe the inside service is better. But ordering to go was a COMPLETE DISASTER.

Yelp
A great place to enjoy a Friday evening. Happy Hour is dope af! The DJ plays good music. The food is excellent! But they gotta clean that bathroom more frequently. Update: The manager had the bathroom cleaned when I asked.

Khallida K.

Yelp
Great staff. Quaint location. Good happy hour menu. Food was good! It's in a low key location. You might miss it when driving by. It looks like it's closed but it's an open business.

Danyel P.

Yelp
THE MAC AND CHEESE WAS 10/10!! Wow I was expecting this to be good but WOW did it blow me away! I had the chicken combo, was amazing! Super juicy and well seasoned! Chicken tenders were also 10/10! Seasoned and battered well!! Super fresh! Pulled pork sandwiches was 8/10 Overall was really good and will be back!

Anthony W.

Yelp
Enjoyed the meal I ordered on my first visit with friends and family. There was some wait, but my meal was thoroughly enjoyed completely. I will dine at this restaurant again for sure.

Allison J.

Yelp
Way over priced joint serving last weeks BBQ. We ordered brisket and it came out with GrillMarks. Very dry! Obviously I had been cooked a long time ago and thrown on the grill to reheat. Just one of the grossest place I've ever eaten.

Jordain J.

Yelp
Came here for the first time because we were waiting for an event to start next-door that seem to take forever. So we decided to just settle up on this restaurant after finding a parking. After we were seated upstairs I realized that there was a sign that stated that they automatically put 20% gratuity on the bill which I didn't think was too fair Along with the fact that this is the second restaurant in the city of Atlanta that did things this way. Either way we decided to order the food and our drinks. They both came in a timely manner And was absolutely delicious. After finishing we just relax for a while because the music that they play it was great, it set the vibe beautifully and only continued from there. The waiter that we had was extremely respectful and gave us everything we requested. I would come back again, but it's 20% gratuity stuff Has to stop.

Anthony M.

Yelp
Easy to find great to hang out for a quick bite to eat. I love their macaroni and cheese, wings, baked beans, bbq chicken and cornbread. Small portions which is disappointing for the price they should be more generous than what they are charging...Kids meal portions...It's not a sports bar for their TV's May or may not be working...Sometimes they have a DJ and that's cool. Service is inconsistent, sometimes good sometimes bad!

Michelle P.

Yelp
The atmosphere and service is amazing. The food is great, from the turkey rib to the whiting bites. I Love the Barbecue crab legs when they are available. You won't be disappointed and don't forget the roof top bar with great city views.

Ashton S.

Yelp
Aye they food good and their portions are excellent as well. If you graduate, they give free shots! Shoutout they bartender.

Tisha J.

Yelp
The drinks were so delicious. Highly recommend the Hennessy Peach Tea. I went during happy hour a couple days later and the strawberry margarita was good too. I got the impossible burger and it was great. The staff was quick and friendly. Music was so good with r&b. It's definitely a fun place to grab drinks and good.

Tinesha J.

Yelp
Went on a date and this restaurant was highly recommended. I had a taste for brisket and their brisket definitely hit the spot! Upon entering, it looks a bit small, but they have an open upstairs with a dj and bar. It was a good atmosphere and the dj was pumping out hits (Atl rap hits). The FOOD was GUD! I got brisket, ribs, macaroni and cheese, baked beans, and greens. I normally don't eat all of my food when I go out, but I killed it! My food was piping hot like I like it. Our server was very attentive. It was a bit cold when we went and she assisted with making sure our heater was close to keep us warm. I enjoyed everything about this establishment and tell everyone that would listen that they have to get bbq from here.

Whitlei N.

Yelp
One of my favorite places in Atlanta to eat. I'm not sure how I just learned about this place two years ago but TDH has great music and even better food. Not to mention $5 happy hour drinks from 4-8 Mon-Fri. #oneofmyfaves. Follow my food page for more reviews @theboogiefoodie

Yelp
On our first night in ATL we found this spot. The outside is not very appealing honestly; we got inside and it was dark, not very big but nice. We were greeted when we walked in and sat at an available booth. Luckily we got there right before the happy hour so my hubs and I were able to order $5 drinks that were made very well. Our food was good and hot, though my hubs said the mac&chz was somewhat bland. I thought it all had good flavor. I'd definitely go back.

Sean S.

Yelp
Catfish, beef brisket, and Caesar salad are bomb. I didn't like the greens or pulled chicken. Rooftop is a good lil vibe

Connie T.

Yelp
TL;DR: Small spot with good BBQ and a casual vibe but super smokey inside. Great HH times and food/drink options. ARRIVAL: I came here for lunch around 3 on a Friday. I live nearby so I walked here but there's a small parking lot that fits about 10 cars. AMBIANCE: I walked in and immediately saw and smelled the smoke in the place from the meat smoker (I assume). It's a very small restaurant downstairs where you enter with about 9 comfy half-booths and a bar with seating that was pretty full. I heard another guest mention 'upstairs' and they were told it was closed. MENU: The menu has the standard BBQ items and HH menu contains a variety of food that anyone would be able to enjoy. FOOD: We got the brisket plate with collard greens and mac and cheese, half dozen smoked wings, HH chicken tenders (last minutes switch because they were out of the rib tips). The brisket was about 5-6 slices and the fatty ones were SUPER tender and flavorful, but not too salty, a couple pieces were a little drier, but I wouldn't qualify them as inherently DRY. The collard greens do not have ham hocks (which is a plus for me) but were a tad on the salty side. The mac and cheese was good but i've had better from other places. The smoked wings had amazing flavor but were a bit on the dry side. This was my first time having smoked wings, so I'm not sure if that's normal and to be expected, but I enjoyed them nonetheless. They came with 3 flats and 3 drums which might have been an accident, but I was pleased by this as I'm a flat fanatic, so it was nice to see a balance at the least. The chicken tenders were definitely a smaller portion, but for $5 a great deal; think kids meal with 2 tenders and crinkle fries in a basket. They were crispy and lightly breaded, but the grease got them a bit soggy and they lost their crispiness. They could use a bit more seasoning. SERVICE: Service was attentive and casual = comfortable. Food didn't take long to come out. Keep in mind, they do add a service charge here on every bill! EXPERIENCE: Due to the area this place sits in and the fact that it's just about the only restaurant in the immediate vicinity, sometimes there are characters that walk in or are banging on the windows from outside. The staff seems to handle it well though. PRICE: Amazing for HH. The price for the regular plates are pretty standard, but I'd like to see the amount of meat match those in other bbq places with the same prices. OVERALL: I'll definitely try to make plans to return and try the turkey leg (which I came here for but forgot to order... womp womp). It's an easy decision based on the fact that you can fill up on HH plates alone if you wanted, but i'll have to warn friends of the smoke. Note: my hair, clothes, and even purse smelled like smoke for the rest of the day and even others could smell it on me unprompted!

Yelp
Have you ever heard of an 8 hour HAPPY HOUR??? Well if you haven't and need some libations to ease your frustrations, then swing by Tom, Dick & Hanks between noon & 8pm! They were another great find during my tour of Atlanta black-owned restaurants in honor of Black History Month. The food here is legitimately good with a straightforward approach to all the meats and sides. They don't try to reinvent the wheel. Instead they stick to the staples with impressive quality as well as add a few items you might not expect. They also have a Hookah menu. During my visit I met councilman Antonio Lewis and his wife Ashley, who not only is a lawyer, but a foodie! She gave 6 additional restaurant recommendations I can't wait to try. Antonio loves Tom, Dick & Hanks so much that he says if you want to meet with him, it's most likely going to be here! Hank was also featured on Atlanta Eats: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gwN7T0Xc1mk&t=89s [THE DETAILS ] Date & time: Thursday, January 13th, 2021 @ 2:15pm Time it took to receive order : 18 minutes Business level : low What to expect : Wood interior with booth & table seating + large bar Parking: SMALL - tight fit for about 8 cars Server: Ksauna Service: efficient & friendly Outdoor patio : rooftop Atmosphere : lively Dress : casual Health Score : 96 (A) [ ENTREÉS ] 4-Bone Rib Platter (5 stars) | $18 EXCELLENT FLAVOR!!! These are the type of ribs that don't need sauce. As a matter of fact, they are so good sauce might actually be an insult. I ordered the mac n' cheese and collard greens as sides. The mac n' cheese is some of the best restaurant mac n' cheese I've ever tasted. The collard greens were also very good. SIDE NOTE: Originally ordered the combo plate, but I didn't care for the beef brisket (tough and dry). So they replace it with ribs to make it a rib plate instead. [ FINAL THOUGHTS ] Now THIS is a place where I want to explore the ENTIRE menu. So many things I want to try like the smoked wings, turkey, seafood, turkey burger and those signature cocktails! I also love that they have a veggie plate, salads and sweets for my wife. I really enjoyed my meal! The pork ribs are flavorful, tender, smoky and delicious. Truly some of the best ribs I've had and that mac n' cheese is incredible!!! I was so impressed I came back a week later for seconds. The only complaint would be concerning the extremely limited parking situation, which I would forget all about after a few drinks during their extended happy hour! LOL TIP: A 20% service charge is added to all checks. 2022 / 38 #BlackOwnedBusinessSeries

We were looking for a place to eat and a friend suggested this place. It is definitely a vibe. If you are looking to go eat but want good music, I recommend. The rooftop offers hookah with great music and vibes. The first floor is more I want to eat and leave. The food was amazing! I would have given them a 5 but the macaroni and cheese was not good, AND I could take 2 stars away because that's a staple side and it was very disappointing, but the staff was everything. They were very attentive and friendly. The fish and shrimp platter was delicious. I would definitely go back.

Yelp
Loved this place! Cute little rooftop and bar upstairs and bar/restaurant downstairs. The staff, music and food are all great minus the Mac and cheese which was weird tasting.

Yelp
Great views. Black owned. Tasty veggies. Deep Eddy's cocktails. Get the corn and smoked wings.

Yelp
I've heard a lot about this little spot, and I was feeling some "soul food" later on a recent Sunday when everything else was closed, so I gave Tom, Dick, and Hank a try for take out. And I was pleasantly surprised! I really enjoyed the grilled catfish with collard greens and Mac and cheese. At first I wasn't sure the portions would be filling but they were and also tasty! The catfish had a nice char as well as a nice Smokey taste to it. While I waited at the bar to pick up my food, I saw some very tasty looking nachos and ribs pass by me en route to tables, so I am definitely interested in returning to dine in and check out more dishes! The restaurant is a small intimate space that has some bar seating, banquet, and table seating. It has a laid back atmosphere; there are tv screens present for watching the next big game as well. My order: Fried (Grilled) Fish, Collard Greens, Mac and Cheese. About $14 + w/ tax; came to $16 and change with a tip.

Yelp
James was a phenomenal bartender and gave great service. However the hookah girl was very rude, dismissive and under trained. She seemed as if she didn't want to be there from the time we walked in.... Meanwhile, I could count 2 hands on how many people that was there. The hookah girl sat on her phone the entire time with her face balled up while letting her tables go under. We simply asked for more coal (in which it shouldn't be a request, it should simply be changed or asked if we need anything). She lack communication skills, and have a low understanding of service.... yet, expect a 20% gratuity. When I addressed my concerns, SHE LITERALLY WALKED AWAY. I've never seen anyone act this way in service. It's the rudest interaction I've ever had at a restaurant Once I asked for a manager, I realized he was the man sitting across the bar the entire time. His presence as a manager was not known nor did he step in to make sure the quality control of the restaurant was at its best. We stepped to the side to discuss the issue. While I expressed my concerns he LITERALLY called me aggressive for being direct about my service and the hookah girl. At one point he proceeded to walk away mid conversation. Clearly, he's in no position to be a manager. He's conflict resolution and communication is extremely LOW. My group of people are /were paying customers that ordered and drank without an issue. We are not peons from the street and shouldn't have been treated as such. The food was great, the view from the rooftop is amazing, I'll give credit where it's due. However, this experience completely ruin my night and my experience at TDH. It will be hard to ever patronize this business again. I've always thought and said nice things of this place but this was a disgusting interaction. Readers: please be aware of your choice to visit this place. Hookah Girl: lace front with braces and a headband Manager: Gentleman with locs Thanks James, the bartender for making the best of the situation C. Mar

Yelp
Service was superb, our waitress was so friendly and helpful. The food was good. The bbq came from an actual grill and was smoked not just baked and slapped with bbq sauce. Definitely would return!

Yelp
Best collards and cornbread in ATL??? Stopped by to grab a quick midweek dinner with a friend who was flying out of Atlanta airport the same night. This was my first time at TDH's and the food is pretty average for ATL. But the collards and cornbread were top notch. All of our food was hot and came out within 15 minutes of ordering. Our server was attentive and available. Our food came out of plates, but the utensils were plastic. Considering we are still in the midst of a pandemic and there are labor shortages, plastic silverware cuts back on dishwashing...so I get it... Finally, Main Street has a decent amount of free public street parking. Since I dined mid-week as the weather was getting cold there was plenty of parking. But on weekends and busier nights you may have to circle a few times to get a spot.

Yelp
I tried this place through Uber eats. I did a pick up order. The inside of the establishment is very nice, the bartender that handed me my meal was very nice. Unfortunately I did not enjoy my meal. I got ribs, chicken, and macaroni and cheese. The bbq sauce tasted like dipping sauce vs bbq sauce. The only thing I enjoyed was the cornbread muffin.

Yelp
I'll start at the end. 20% gratuity!!! I'll never go back again!!!! Good staff service, food was hit and miss I had a combo plate . The two meats were cold, the sides, one warm one hot. My wings were hot , over cooked. One good out of six. But it was good Slim choice on beers. It was cold.

Yelp
I wish I could rate this place 3.5. When we went in you had to go upstairs for the balcony, it was OK they accommodate groups but it will be a wait if you want to sit with your group because it is small on the roof. The music was good they had a DJ there as well. I ordered a quarter leg chicken platter with mac & cheese collard greens and cornbread. The cornbread was very cold but it did have a good flavor to it. The collard greens were OK tasted like it was out of a can. The mac & cheese was a little salty but the chicken was delicious. I have been trying to find good sweet tea in Georgia while I was there visiting and this place has the best sweet tea I taste it going to a restaurant. Our waiter he was OK but I wish he was more attentive to the table because we had to ask other people for things. To be honest I probably would go back to this place for the chicken and sweet tea

Yelp
I love TDH. The food is good and the vibe is awesome because of the upstairs patio and music. The happy hour is the longest I've ever seen. It's from 12-8pm (check the website because I think it's a shorter time frame on Monday). The kale salad side dish is delicious! It's a seasonal item but I wish it was on the menu all the time and I could order a larger size.

Yelp
Food was great, service was fast! Would definitely come back! I ordered the smoked wings with Mac & cheese and French fries and my friend ordered the brisket and ribs with greens and baked beans and he was very satisfied with his order.

Yelp
I'm giving Tom, Dick & Hank 4 stars instead of 5 because of the horrible horrible parking... My living room is legit bigger than their parking lot. I had to drive around like 5 times before I could find somewhere to park. BUT... Once you find somewhere to park it's only up from there! The music is bomb, the food is sooooo flavorful, I literally didn't even wanna eat all of my food so I could have some for later lol. The drinks are STRONG!!! shoutout to the bartender... but they were also good! We all know sometimes strong drinks = disgusting, but not in this case. Would I go back? Of course... But next time Im gonna Uber.

Yelp
I seen this restaurant several times passing by, so one night, me & my fiancé decided to check them out during the week. PARKING: is very small on the side of the building so if you're brave like me, park behind the building (656 parking lot) and walk away with confidence, hoping your car doesn't gets towed or booted. DECOR/INTERIOR: the restaurant is very small downstairs and the booth seats are torn (I hate ripped pleather seats) UPGRADE PLEASE!! FOOD: this is where it gets interesting! We all ordered our drinks and food at the same time. Our drinks come out 1st, then My Fiancé orders the ribs (which were pretty good), my daughter wanted the chicken quesadilla which was good, I ordered the bbq crabs (since they had a $5 special on crab clusters that night), and my son had a cheeseburger combo. When the food FINALLY came out, my BBQ crabs was SOOOOO SALTY OMG MY BLOOD PRESSURE ROSE TO DAMN NEAR 200/200!! Everyone food was good except mine! SERVICE: My fiancé & daughters food came out first, so I'm thinking, "Ok, ours should be out shorty. 15 mins pass and still no food. So me and my son became agitated because we're nibbling off my fiancé's ribs and my daughter quesadilla and 20-something mins later our food came. Mine wasn't worth the wait at all!!! OVERALL: I wouldn't return.

Yelp
Delicious bbq. But before I get to the food, management and service was incredible. We visited from out of town and was looking to watch a certain football game. The manager went above and beyond and got us that out of market game to watch. Our waitress was fantastic. Chips app was incredible. Pork ribs, smoked wings, Mac & cheese, beans, greens and corn bread phenomenal. Do not get the brisket, it's not good, I would recommend they save money on a brisket and don't make it anymore. If someone got just that, they would have left unhappy. The rest of the food, fantastic. Definitely would recommend this place.

Yelp
I could give this place 0 Stars. I surely WOULD! This place food service was terrible, very horrible. I brought a family member there who just flew in and it was my birthday! The waitress was very rude, it took at least 30 minutes or more for her to bring us a cup of WATER over and on top of that she had a nasty attitude while doing so. Instead she attempted to attend to the other larger group table that already had a waitress who was actually better than ours with customer service. Our food was uncooked. Like we had fried fish and it was pretty dim lights on the rooftop so didn't really notice an issue with the food until we started eating and I grabbed my flashlight to put on the food. The fish was pink!! Like bloody. OMG and we had already eaten some of it. The waitress did not visit our table instead she continued to walk past us. We addressed the bartender to ask for the manager. The bartender was understanding and disappointed in the service experience. Instead of the manager coming, they sent their relative. He told us it was a family business and it wasn't much they could do. Then the hostile waitress comes over and tries to gaslight us as if we were the ones who pissed in her cereal. The bartender and other waitress stated we were not the hostile ones. But the hostile waitress started moving her hands in my guest and I face as we were SITTING and she was standing. We felt threatened and got up and she was addressed because that was a total boundary violation. The bouncer just laughed as the other concerned workers attempted to tell him it wasn't our faults. He told me and my guest we had to leave immediately. The manager who never came out said they were too busy and wanted us out. The other tables agreed that the food service was horrible as well. And these were GROUPS of people. After the incident many decided to leave and complain about the service as well. We will never come back here!!!! Very rude, classless, poor food safety, and safety hazard

Yelp
This is one of my daughters favorite spots she graduated today. We called and was told the kitchen close at 11pm. We get here 10:16pm was told sit anywhere and we did shortly after lady came and said we running out of food. So now I'm like what we walked out and some other ppl like we been here and we haven't ordered yet. You either need to be ready for the over flow due to graduation or close earlier. How you run out of food but you will be open tomorrow??
