The Best Restaurant Meals of 2021, According to BA Staffers | Bon Appétit

"A $78 five-course tasting menu of consistently delightful dishes—roasted chilacayote squash bathed in cream from house-made stracciatella and a hazelnut-and-sorrel kakigori that tastes like a playful Nutella salad—but the standout is a silky, savory chawanmushi topped with matsutake slices, an adaptation of the chef’s grandmother’s recipe that serves as a tender, personal centerpiece." - ByAli Francis

Lunch boxes are great option however the rolls are getting worse. Ate here before and everything is great, few years after covid, food went down. Service is awesome, they'll make sure to refill the drinks.

Google
Best sushi spot for us. We always have the house noodles, beef negimaki, edamame, and the party platter. All this is slightly over $100.

Google
Always my go to Sashimi place! Fast service and good quality fish. I like how they cut the sashimi thick slices, great location by Queens mall.

Google
I’m baffled as to how all these five star reviews came to light. I sincerely they’re genuine and tasted authentic and proper sushi. I’ve written hundreds of reviews on Google and at least dozens on sushi and I’m trying to refrain from writing too much because the more I write, the lower the score will be. Let’s just say some of my sashimi was frozen slices and miso soup was more like miso water. I will stop at that. The two star is due to affordability and their friendly staff.

The service was great and i will always look forward to the dim lit atmosphere however the food was a bit bland. We ordered the bento box, a chicken platter with broccoli and fried rice on the side, and a rock n roll. The bento box had this chicken fry with mushroom and other things and it tasted very bland. As for the rock n roll, bland as well. The chicken was very sweet and the broccoli was not fully cooked to its potential. The fried rice was a small portion compared to the chicken. We took everything to go after a couple of bites. Not a picky by the way, and I’m sure they must’ve just had a bad day. I would come back to purchase different dishes because once again the service was great and our waiters were very welcoming.

Google
My regular local Japanese restaurant in Elmhurst. I’d say they have fresh fish with local fare. I always get the green mussel with spicy crab and ika maru ( grilled squid )

Google
Been here few times in the past. Stopped here today for quick sushi w the fam. Miso soup, followed for the 3 roll combo consisting California, spicy tuna crunch, spicy salmon and later crispy chicken katsu with a thin layer of crunch. And lastly couldn't resist the matcha once cream. Staff as super nice even though my kids were loud and even spilled drink on the table. Def will be back when craving sushi

I’ve been going here since I was a kid in middle school (which was well over 15 years ago mind you) and the quality is still the same as it was all those years ago! You’d be hard pressed to find another place with quality like this for the price. The servers are so sweet, and the scallop sashimi I got was so fresh and just as sweet! I got the tekka don, and wow the tuna was amazing! Fresh fish is a mark of a good sushi restaurant, and this one is one of the best in queens!

Yelp
Tomo is a solid go-to for fresh sushi and Japanese and Chinese comfort food in Elmhurst. I've been here a few times now, and each visit has been consistently satisfying. The ambiance is cozy yet modern, and the staff are always friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The sushi is the highlight -- fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. The Tomo Special Roll is a must-try, and their sashimi is sliced perfectly. I also really enjoyed the spicy tuna crispy rice -- flavorful with just the right amount of heat and crunch. They have a decent variety on the menu beyond sushi too -- the ramen is flavorful, though not quite as rich as what you'd find at a dedicated ramen spot. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5: prices are a little on the higher side for the portion sizes. Still, definitely worth a visit if you're craving good sushi in the area. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Tomo Sushi consistently provides an exceptional dining experience that I always look forward to when I am in the vicinity. The food is delightful, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is truly perfect.

Yelp
.I had tried my two pieces they tasted off not like sweet and fresh but salty and overly wet .My partner shared some rolls the shrimp tempura was good but the tuna wasn't even chopped fully for the spicy tuna crunch nor was there any crunch ! Then the spicy salmon was not spicy and tasted off we proceeded to spit it out !!!(tasted spoiled ) .Lastly my partner paid and we headed to walk out my partner was called back by the waitress to put a tip ! As she pointed to the two higher tip pricing that she demanded he had to put one down

Yelp
This was our first time ordering from here and we were impressed by the variety of sushi and sashimi Tomo has to offer. The website is very easy to navigate and ordering on the phone was super easy. When we got to the restaurant the food was ready. Food is hot, reasonably priced, and they are generous with the portions and sauces. We ordered: * Sushi and Sashimi Combo for 2 ($44.00) * Pork Katsu Bento ($22.50) * Fried Fish Bento ($22.50) * Beef Teriyaki Bento ($22.50) * Three Rolls Combo: Yellow scallion roll, spicy salmon crunch roll, salmon tempura roll ($14.95) * Dragon Roll ($11.25) * Spider Roll ($14.50) It was a TON of food and it came out to $175. Presentation is gorgeous. I love how they decorate the end pieces of the maki rolls. Salad dressing is delicious, it tastes homemade. We love how all the bentos come with shrimp and veggie tempura -- the tempura sauce is also yummy. Overall a pretty solid place, can't wait to come back to try out the rest of the menu.

Yelp
I can see why this place has an average rating as they have both average food and mediocre service. I perused the menu and ordered a bento box, I then wanted to wash my hands in the restroom. But the water wasn't even turned on or rather wasn't working. I was quite confused and rather turned off by it. I told the staff, and they were scrambling to make it work. Instead of turning it on, they gave me a bucket of water. That was surprising. Since food was already ordered, I decided to stay. Otherwise, I would've left. They have lunch specials, which include the weekends, so I decided upon a bento box. It came with your choice of main meat and different sides. I chose the beef negimaki since I wanted to try something different. Overall, I was okay with the meal. It was very filling. However, I wouldn't go back as there are other sushi spots with better service, and the bathroom situation turned me off.

Yelp
Great and prompt delivery. Fresh fish and aesthetically appealing platter. Abundant soy sauce and sides provided.

Yelp
Everything tasted weird and I felt nauseous all night. Don't risk it. The ginger dressing on the salad was good.

Yelp
Place sits on Queens Blvd, diagonally from Popeyes and next door to a Philippino store and restaurant. They have got a couple of booths to the right and few tables to the left with a long bench up against the wall as for seating. I believe there's extra seating for people who wanna be at the sushi bar. Our server was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. The ambiance was a bit dim for my liking. The food was average. There was one type of fish among our sushi platter that tasted a bit earthy (it was kinda white in color... dunno what fish it was). I would definitely, if I ever dined here again, stay away from the volcano roll. No one in my party liked it. It was sort of fried/all cooked and dry.
google avatar

Moeka S.

Yelp
Got a delivery from this place the other night! We ordered sushi platter B. It came with miso soup and salad for two people and what you see in the pic. The fish was fresh and YUM. And the ginger was good, too which is always a plus. The downside was the rice, which wasn't prepared right in my opinion and the rice was a little on the larger size. I could just be being TOO picky but I really love sushi too much. For the price is the platter and the amount of food we got with such fresh fish, I really enjoyed the deal.

Yelp
I've had the sushi take out from Tomo a few times and it's pretty good. The price is decent and the rolls are delicious. I usually call ahead and the food is ready within 15-20 minutes. I highly recommend this place.
google avatar

Yelp
Place was quiet for early Friday dinner, ordered the Chicken Cheese Maki Katsu. Was hot and delicious. Waitress was attentive and kind, will be back to try the sushi.

Yelp
I went for the lunch special at Tomo and the food was great. We got the sushi lunch special which comes with nigiri and a classic roll as well as soup. The roll and nigiri were both good. The shop was a classic cute looking Japanese restaurant and the service was amazing and they were even able to make substitutions of specific nigiri that we wanted to the lunch special at a slight cost. This is definitely some of the best priced sushi around.
google avatar

Karen C.

Yelp
Solid sushi at reasonable prices! I highly recommend getting the spicy salmon roll. The flavor and texture are great plus it's a good portion. I came here recently with my mom and we had leftovers both times. Their salad dressing is delicious and although this may be a little blasphemous, I even dipped some of my sushi in it. I think the servers knew how much we liked it because they left it behind when they cleared the table haha! It's not my favorite sushi in the neighborhood but Tomo hits the spot when I get a craving, especially that $15 3 roll combo. The service is amazing and whenever I've come there's always been a table, so no wait! Would recommend checking out Tomo if you're in the area.

Yelp
My go to Japanese restaurant whenever I crave for sushi and sashimi. Great place to bringing a date or with family. Great customer service and the foods are always fresh!

Yelp
Ordered the dragon roll and chicken tempura one of my favorites to try my girlfriend loves this place not just for the food but for their service and kindness. 10/10 place to come eat sushi on a lowkey date night.
google avatar

Kenny L.

Yelp
Decent food for a decent price. Used to come here more often while I was living in the area. Decided to try recently and was surprised they offered a few new options including a poke bowl. Tried it and overall decent, everything was fresh and tasty, needed slightly more sauce for ease of mixing but good portions.

Yelp
Came here with Miah because I've been craving sushi. They have a lot of vegetable rolls so had plenty to choose from. Probably the only good thing about this place. The taste of the roll was ok. Nothing I'd wanna keep coming back to. Rolls fall apart quickly too. Wait time was also super long. My friend ordered a teriyaki dish and some rolls, while I got some other rolls. Her teriyaki came but the rolls didnt come until after she's almost done with her meal. I mean if you have two customers there, why would you hold of the food just because one of the customers ordered two meals? Also we specifically asked for no onions on her teriyaki. Even repeated it a few time to confirm. Yet when the food comes there's a mountain of onion on her plate. Only saving grace is having Ramune.

Yelp
We used to come to Tomo regularly but slowly stopped coming over the years as more and more quality Japanese restaurants have cropped up. We were recently in the neighborhood and decided to eat here. Not much has changed. The décor has been updated somewhat and the restaurant is nice and clean. The booths for seating are still comfy and afford some privacy. We ordered eel avocado roll, shrimp tempura roll, beef teriyaki lunch bento, salmon teriyaki lunch bento, kani salad, and shrimp roll. The shrimp roll was wrapped in noodles and deep fried. Had a nice overall presentation and tasted pretty good. This was my favorite out of all the items we ordered. The kani salad was also good albeit small portion wise. Both bento boxes came with soup, rice, salad, three pieces of shumai and four pieces of California roll. The eel avocado and shrimp tempura rolls were average. Again, they were on the small side, but I didn't mind too much. Overall, I though the food was okay, and the sushi was decent. They offer lunch specials and sushi/sashimi dollar specials (per piece). It's not the most spectacular food but it's good for the price, I suppose.

Yelp
For the area... this is a pretty good sushi spot. My parents wanted sushi so we were close to the mall at the the time.. I suggested Tomo since I don't like the other sushi restaurants nearby. I haven't been to either Tomo locations in years..... I've picked up sushi 2x in the past few weeks from this place. First time I ordered 2 orders of their 3 roll combo with soup. Soup wasn't good, but the sushi was good. Not too much rice. I also tried their chicken Katsu lunch special and a shrimp tempura lunch special. The chicken katsu was good, I didn't try the tempura, my parents ate it without the sauce so it was bland for them. It would've been fine for me since I don't like to eat too much salt. Yesterday we ordered a party tray of sushi rolls and it was very good. The spicy tuna with crunch was great. Shrimp tempura, eel rolls, Alaskan, spicy salmon, etc.. all tasty. My father loved the salmon hand roll that I ordered by accident...I was so stuffed.. enough for 4 people.. Not the best quality in NYC or even Queens but for the price and location, this is a good spot. Much better than the other ones a block or 2 away...

Yelp
For New Years Eve, my family and I ordered a roll party for 2 to share amongst a few people. We ordered 7 rolls, and it came in a decent size platter. Given that it is a roll party for 2, the amount and price ($42) was decent, but the quality of the sushi rolls was definitely subpar compared to other sushi restaurants nearby. To start off, the rolls were squished together in the platter and each individual sushi was much smaller than what I would usually get at another restaurant. Therefore, although it was 7 rolls, it felt more like 4. Second, the Shrimp tempura was extremely soggy when we had gotten it, so it was not that appetizing or enjoyable. Lastly, there was little to no flavor on the rolls. Soy sauce was provided on the side, but it was also a bit on the bland end. I am very thankful that they provided 2 sides of miso soup and salad, but for the price that I had paid, I expected much more from the restaurant. I will unfortunately not be ordering from them again given the experience that I had, but am glad that they provide cheaper options than other restaurants do.

DeSenya W.

Yelp
Ordered from this place more than once and the food is good just not a fan of the delivery service. The Driver that drops off the food is extremely rude. Demands a tip and attempted to withhold my food after it was paid for. Completely unprofessional

Yelp
Can't understand why this place has 3 stars. I walked in here for a random lunch after a target run and am pleasantly impressed. The staff is very attentive, the prices are very good compared to most Japanese places in the area, and the food is delicious. I had a miso soup, a pepper tuna salad, and the Chicken tomo which is basically sesame chicken. One thing I really enjoyed was that the chicken and broccoli was not over fried. Everything was fresh and delicious.

Yelp
I love this sushi place! It's near the queens center mall and perfect after a day of shopping. They have a 3 roll special for $12.50 that's all day long so you're not limited to just lunch. They have a cute wooden interior and good service. I got the shrimp tempura and salmon tempura rolls. They tasted great and everything was perfectly crisp. They don't charge you extra for spicy mayo which I loved! I also got the rock shrimp tempura as an appetizer. There were only four pieces but they were pretty big and very generous with the sauce. For dessert, I got the tempura vanilla ice cream. I think they might roll their ice cream in pound cake first, if not, then that's what the outside tastes like. You also get half an orange and canned pineapples after your meal for free which was really cute. I'm not sure if it was only because I ordered dessert though. Regardless, I would definitely recommend this place for all your sushi needs!

Yelp
Sushi is always fresh and the service is good. The prices are decent also 3 rolls for $12.50!

Yelp
EASILY THE BEST & MOST CREATIVE SUSHI FOR MILES!!!! Highly recommend the lobster roll & the volcano roll as well as all of the Tomo Rolls (From what I remember there are atleast 4 Tomo specialty rolls). Located very conveniently near the Queens Center Mall, this restaurant/cafe has kept up high quality for many years, keeping up a beautiful & romantic vibe inside despite high volumes of customers. This is the perfect sushi spot for those who are trying the cuisine for the first time because the menu incorporates a lot of 'cooked' sushi options to ease people into the cuisine who may otherwise have had no experience with raw fish. Plating is always outstanding and photo-worthy, and the prices are a ridiculous deal, no matter which end of the menu you go for. I've also had various noodles from the menu and felt 100% satisfied with non-sushi options. The servers are extremely attentive, consistently filling up water glasses, and water pitchers during your eating-in experience, which is such a kind gesture and goes above and beyond. There are also refreshing fruit and candy served throughout the meal to help people cleanse their palette and get a better sense of how the culture typically consumes the cuisine. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE & highly recommend!

Nancy Q.

Yelp
Some of the best sushi delivery I have ever had. The sushi sashimi for 2 is generous portion with large fresh pieces. Delivered timely and perfectly packaged. Recommend the hand rolls as well-Large pieces of fresh fish, not chopped up mix. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
Can never go wrong with Tomo to satisfy my quick sushi fix. My go-to sushi spot whenever I am craving sushi. Whether ordering from their lunch specials or their sushi platters for a party, can always count on Tomo!
google avatar

Michiko Y.

Yelp
If you are in rush please do not come to this restaurant. There is 3chef, I order a 3roll combo it's take 40minutes to come out even though there is no ppl in the restaurant during lunch hour.
google avatar

K.Y W.

Yelp
This was my go to spot whenever I craved for Japanese food. Though the rolls gets smaller every time I return, it didn't bother me as long as the food and ingredients are fresh. A few weeks ago I ordered their party tray and noticed that the downgrade almost all the ingredients. The recently started replacing crab meat with the cheapest ones you find at the market, the yellow pickled daikon in their vegetarian futo maki roll have been replaced with some nasty brown imitation radish, their unagi (eel) no longer tasted like eel. Who knows what it is. And worst of all, their nori (seaweed) was barely edible. I couldn't even pull chew nor pull the seaweed apart! I get inflation is a bitch, but you already increased the price on everything in the menu it wasn't necessary to downgrade to the cheapest ingredients they can get their hands on. I tried this place one last time the other day, and yeah, they're sticking to their low quality non edible crap.
google avatar

Jenny G.

Yelp
We've been coming here for years for their Three Rolls Combo. The place isn't fancy but the fish is always fresh. They make no-frills rolls for a great price!

Julia K.

Yelp
The best sushi!! Salmon nigiri was so buttery and service was very fast. Highly recommend this hidden gem

Jonathan C.

Yelp
I got takeout here. The aloha poke bowl was decent enough. Their website seems out of date. The menus and prices don't match the paper menu I saw. The website says you can reserve a table, but they're not doing indoor dining. There's a small outdoor structure with a single table, which you could probably use if you really wanted to.
google avatar

Jasmin K.

Yelp
I still treasure this place. Been coming for years. One of the best sushi places in Queens. Fresh fish. Sashimi or sushi pieces are $1.50-$2 a piece which is not bad. I love the lunch specials. I ordered sashimi lunch special. Comes with 9 sashimi, rice, soup or salad. I ordered additional sashimi. They have amazing bento boxes. I miss indoor dining. I'm glad they stay open after all these years.
google avatar

Tyler L.

Yelp
This is a decent Japanese restaurant to take a date or the family out. It is very spacious and very modern. We tried several items off the menu and everything was decent, with the beef yaki udon being the best. My main criticism is everything was slightly bland in taste. For example, the chicken teriyaki was obviously just precooked chicken that was sprayed with teriyaki sauce when a customer orders it - very different than if it was actually sauteed in the sauce. The tempura also appeared to be of the frozen variety that is fried to order. However, it hard to complain when their prices are so reasonable and the portions so large. Their lunch specials and bento boxes which come with miso soup or salad are all around $10 or less.

Ms B.

Yelp
Always so good and by service by Nana is exceptional and very polite. Thank you for such a wonderful staff. We will be back!

Yukang C.

Yelp
There are many sushi restaurant around here. Take out orders over the phone always busy in Elmhurst. Great restaurant still great food and service after many years All foods fresh taste I will come back again.
google avatar

Catherine Y.

Yelp
The spot is still the best bang for your buck. I live closer to their sister store Fuji Sushi, however Fuji Sushi's prices are much higher and sometimes not as fresh. I know they no longer have their $1 menu items but the $1.50 and $2.50 prices for specialty sushi/sashimi are still extremely reasonable. They also seem to be the only place that has the tobiko with raw quail egg.
google avatar

Howan Miguel C.

Yelp
The ambiance is great, I like how relaxing it is in the eyes. I ate by the sushi bar, I liked my dinner, however the sushi lacked wasabi in between the fish and rice, just kinda hoped they'd be more traditional since their ambiance kinda reminds me of Japan. The food is great for people who are craving a quick grab sushi wouldn't suggest this place for a first date though, not that I'm in one. I'm just saying I've tasted better sushi somewhere else. Good place and food, just not truly satisfied.
google avatar

Young K.

Yelp
The food was good. Ordering directly from the restaurant made the wait time shorter and price cheaper, obviously. It's good.

Yelp
Tomo is probably my favorite cheap sushi spot in all of Queens. I mainly come for their a la carte menu which are $1 piece and that menu alone works wonders. Instead of going for some ridiculous sashimi deluxe or some wild display of sushi/sashimi on a wooden boat, I like my sushi/sashimi simple. Dollar a piece will do you good here. My wife and I ordered 38 pieces, and 3 handrolls. 38 pieces were a combination of tuna, salmon, smoked salmon, striped bass, fluke, yellow tail, fish roe, salmon roe, scallop, octopus, squid, and the best of all, sea urchin for $1 a piece! We absolutely killed it. We went on a Wednesday expecting mediocre fish but all of the fish served were surprisingly fresh. Both tuna and salmon had it's beautiful rich red and orange colors. For our handroll orders, we did 1 salmon skin, and 2 spicy tuna with crunch. Both rolls we're delicious, totally worth it. We also ordered their popular calamari dragon. It's a full piece of squid with some stuffing. Pretty filling on its own. It's good but it's something I won't order Everytime. The a la carte menu alone is enough for me. The service was also outstanding. Our waitress was very accommodating. She brought out some of the sauces for us to sample before ordering. Refilling our tea was on point. Verdict - This is only my second time at this Tomo and it has not disappoint. I have tried their sushi from their other location before by take out only and it wasn't bad. As for this location in Elmhurst, the restaurant always looks clean and organized. They have 3 sushi chefs working at once so your orders don't take a lifetime to make. If anyone has ever been to SATO (now closed) in Rego Park before, y'all would know what I'm talking about. Take my advice, go with the a la carte menu, order a beer or sake and you're golden.

Yelp
Love the place i think this the only ligit japanese restaurant in queens , the sushi's are good !!

Karoline L.

Yelp
Elmhurst (and the neighboring Forest Hills) probably can offer you better sushi options than Tomo. Nothing spectacular about the taste, price is average (they offer lunch specials and sushi/sashimi pieces a la carte as to be expected). They have comfy booths for larger parties or perhaps for reservations. Came here as a party of 4 and didnt get seated in a booth even though it was quiet and relatively empty during lunch hours, but it's not something that bothers me as much as it can to others. Havent visited since the pandemic started, but unless they've upgraded the sushi quality or had a really good deal for sushi specials, I never thought about revisiting for my sushi cravings.

Aaron S.

Yelp
DELICIOUS SUSHI, GREAT PRICE, ABSOLUTELY MUST TRY. I was more full after eating here than after eating at all you can eat places. This place made me reconsider my strong opinion that sushi is only worth it if it is AYCE. The fish is super fresh and theres so much variety too. The staff is super duper friendly and I will 100% be coming back. Its worth the ride up to Queens too.
google avatar

Lok T.

Yelp
I remember this place used to be my go to sushi place back when I was still living around Elmhurst. But since I moved to flushing, coming here is just too far. Cutting to the chase, my fam and I decided to come here on Wednesday, May 30th (3pm) since we were around the area. I knew something was wrong when no one greeted us (they were sort of full house) but still no excuse Bc I saw the servers looked at us but she ignored until 2 mins later. one star off Food - my sis and I shared the 3 rolls and amaebi roll. To my dismay my sis and I both found something on the fish. The moment I found something I knew the chef was either not professionally trained (beginner) or didn't care at all. We didnt say anything to the servers since they didn't seem to care about the customers and we didn't want to waste our energy on talking to them either and also we were just too nice (letting it slide). 2 stars off The reason I gave 2 stars instead of one Bc the sushi rice was vinegar the way I like it. I strongly believe that sushi rice is suppose to be right amount of vinegar and not to overpower the freshness of the fish. So kudos on them for able to do that. Overall, my sis and I decided it was not worth the price. We would never come back here again, goodbye tomo. You served me good ever since middle school.

Yelp
The cashier has no customer service vibe at all. She has more important business with her phone. Food is just ok. This place has been on a steady decline.

Yelp
I've been to this place several times before. The service was usually always mediocre to acceptable. But this past Friday night, it was just horrible! I ordered a salad and she brought it out with chopsticks. Like most people, I prefer eating my salad with a fork as it is easier to grab. I asked for a fork. She said "ok ok" yet NEVER came back with it. When it was time to bring out the sushi plate, they brought out my boyfriends plate, but mine came about 10 minutes later. It was only the 2 of us dining, they should have brought out the plates together. Getting the waitresses attention for more water was impossible. They were only quick however, to bring the check. I noticed because there was a line of people waiting to be seated and they were trying to get rid of us asap. The food was okay. Nothing to brag about. The sushi rolls were really really small, although usually they've been a bit bigger. Because of the terrible service that night, I rated this place an overall 3. My boyfriend is never one to complain about places, but even he said something about this experience and the atrocious service. I don't like to be rushed especially since I'm a paying customer and I too had to wait for a table. The sushi was okay, I will definitely try a different place next time!

Yelp
This review is from around beginning of December. After eating a roll that kept falling apart, I realized my other roll was uneven pieces, even if I make sushi at home it does not look like that. I mean I've never went to a sushi place and have had a mini sushi and weird sizes. Not only that... it kept falling apart. I've had sushi places in many different places, even in Japan and it doesn't fall apart... I'm a chill person so I was like it's cool, my friend insisted I tell the waitress so I did. Just letting her know that the sushi was kinda messed up, she spoke to the chef and he just looked at us and laughed I kind of felt embarassed for some reason... Anyways she came back and kind of attacked me well you already ate half of it (I had 3 rolls I only ate 1 so far and then pointed this out). I understand I ate a roll already but I'm pointing out the ones currently on my plate, and she then only offered to replace one roll, she told me she could only fix one when both my rolls were looking very unprofessional. I can make better rolls at home, with a more professional look. Was it crowded? Not really it was a weekday and the restaurant was half full. Anyways I'd rather just go to a different sushi place around the area where waitresses (and chefs I suppose) are nicer too :). Hope you enjoyed my review!
