The food was amazing and would definitely recommend this place for elevated Peruvian food. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is due to the staff. The person delivering the food gave a lot of attitude when we wanted to double check if the food was in fact what we ordered. Moreover, the woman taking our order was wearing a highly offensive pin on her apron. I would hope that a restaurant catering to people of all ethnicities, religions and beliefs would not allow its employees to display offensive political flags.

The food was good except for some of the desserts. The octopus was excellent even though it had something spicy on top. But what shocked us was the rude waiters. They came to the table and without asking took away an empty plate even though we were still eating, the next thing that angered me was they started taking away plates of leftovers without asking and also left one plate of octopus I asked for a box to take with me. Apparently I had to pick it up with my hands to put it in a box as all the utensils had already been taken away . Coffee machine was broken . I got the feeling that all the staff were unfriendly and wanted to kick us out as soon as possible. But they didn't forget to include a 20 percent tip on the check right away. The strawberry creme brulee sucks, don't spend $15 on a strawberry puddle. Administrators should pay attention to the staff. Expensive restaurant that makes you want to run away.

Initially, I was surprised to discover that this place is actually a hotel (a nice one too). Nevertheless, I was told at the front door that the restaurant was open to the public. Parking is not the best but they do offer valet parking for $10. It has a very nice atmosphere. It is very big so you get to choose your favorite corner. The food was excellent. Everything we ate was fresh and delicious. I went during happy hour, and considering the quality of the food, the prices were very reasonable. The only thing is that the menu online says that they have Salteñas (Bolivian empanadas/patties), which I was really looking forward to having, but they don't. The staff is friendly and helpful, and I do plan on returning.

A very cool restaraunt, swordfish dip highly recommended. Bison burger is very good. But no doubt the skirt steak with mashed potatoes steals the show, really excellent. Toro has a nice brunch menu as well.

I got the Cusco Half Chicken & it was tasty but fatty. I also tried the Strawberry Crème Brûlée & I liked it. The presentation of the food was nice. Talent was our waiter & he was super accommodating. They have outdoor seating, which is always a plus for me. Lastly, this place is on the pricy side.

If you read anything in this review, let it be that the service at Toro is exceptional. We were warmly greeted by Nicholas, our tender and doting server who recommended drinks that were delicious. He was friendly and you could tell that he took pride in his work. We had ordered a few appetizers, the smoked swordfish dip was excellent. We had ordered some entrees— one was too salty and the other too bland, we had asked them to take those dishes away as they were inedible, and Jonathan, the manager, promptly approached our table, apologized for our experience, and made every effort to accommodate us. While the food has some to be desired, Nicholas and Jonathan were a dynamic team in making us feel like valued customers, and that will always be more important to me than the amount of salt in my mac and cheese. Will definitely return to try this restaurant again, based solely on their customer service and hope to update the stats to reflect better tasting food.

Our waiter was awesome. Had some delicious empanadas and flambé salmon rolls. The burger is delicious, paired with some truffle fries and pork belly Mac n cheese. Also had la bomba dessert, super tasty. The sangria is also super good.

Great food, good service and lovely ambiance! Not many places I leave, looking forward to going back with other loved ones right away. The bottomless brunch includes a plate of each dish, you don't need to choose. It's very filling! I think I'll ask for smaller portions for next time. Loved: Cucumber dish marinated like raw fish (and I don't even like cucumber!?!) Sirloin served on a sizzling plate (egg was over cooked but steak made up for it) Apreas were really tasty Mango sorbet, and typically I don't love sorbet Bread pudding was phenomenal, exactly what I've been looking for in bread pudding for years but never found The bottomless brunch is 40 bucks, if you include alcohol it's 60. They also have coffee and individual drinks. We had reservations on a Saturday at 11am but there were plenty of seats available. Aesthetics inside we're really pleasing. It's right inside a hotel. Nice ambiance overall. The bathrooms are really nice, clean, and have properly closing doors. There is some outdoor seating.

Service, food, ambience: All were first rate. I walked in as a solo diner, and instead of putting me at a tiny table, they seated me at a roomy table for two with a comfy bench against the wall. I was bisibytinghe dining room, as it was to me. Each dish was exquisite. Amarillo Ceviche -- real pureed mango and mango cubes, with fresh veggies and tender seafood. Flavor bursts and lingers. Blackened tuna tacos -- tender, flavorful tuna, bright and creamy sauce, crunchy slaw. Textured, layered flavors. Seared scallops on a bed of pureed sweet corn with bits of crispy pork belly. Mellow, sweet, oceany, tender, creamy. The boldness of the pork belly the nutty sweetness of the corn, the salty charred creaminess of the scallops equalled perfection. Yuzu coconut cake was the perfect ending. Delicate coconut, vivid yuzu, a bit of passionfruit, a spoonful of cream: delectable. Whenever you are in Denver, Toro is an excellent choice.

A few weeks ago, my husband and I visited Toro to celebrate my doctoral achievement. The restaurant featured the Honey menu, which was absolutely delightful. Our server was incredibly friendly and recommended a variety of dishes that didn't disappoint-- from foie gras tacos and mac & cheese to plantain chips with smoked swordfish dip, Brussels sprouts, truffle fries, and lomo saltado (beef fillet). We were seated in a quaint, quiet area of the restaurant, where the ambiance was just perfect for our celebration. Toro proved to be a fantastic choice for a memorable dining experience close to home.

What can I say about Toro that hasn't already been said about Nikola Jokic? It was unique, creative, and jaw droppingly good. Seriously though, this place rocks. We were in town for just a few days and we both felt so lucky that we found this place, more or less by chance. The atmosphere is really great, the place is hopping while also leaving more than enough space between parties so it doesn't feel like we're all in on each other's conversations. Their ribeye was the best steak I've had in the last year. The Amarillo ceviche was absolutely perfect. Sweet corn empanadas were the best ones I've ever eaten. If you can leave room for dessert, I highly recommend the strawberry brûlée.

One of the best meals I've had. Nicholas was our server, and he was awesome. He heard us bickering over what to order. I wanted ceviche, but didn't want to be alone in eating it. We ordered the empanadas. Nicholas brought us the ceviche at no charge. It was excellent. Pretty spicy, but fresh. The empanadas were otherworldly. The avocado cilantro purée with chimichurri was fabulous. The rib eye had amazing flavor, but my scallops with pork belly were perfect. The flavors all blended into a dream. The strawberry brûlée might be the best crème brûlée I've had. It went well with the margarita. Of note, the bathroom is super fancy, and there is a cigar menu.

Had a unique experience at Toro while traveling in Denver for the work week. The hotel sits on the ground level of the swanky Hotel Clio and greets you with its dimmed lighting and moody atmosphere. We had reservations for 6:30pm for our group of 9 and were told to arrive on time as they are strict with late comers. We were seated at a high table-top near the bar area which was perfect for our group since we were coworkers looking to mingle while dining. We ordered basically every shareable appetizer for the table because we needed to try everything - need I say more? All the apps were delicious and pretty decent sized which worked well for sharing. I ordered the blackened tuna tacos ($18) from the starter section of the menu since I was looking for a small yet yummy entrée after indulging all the apps. The tacos totally hit the spot and would definitely get them again! The corn tortillas had a homemade taste and texture, and the tartar sauce paired well with the blackened tuna pieces. The service was on point! I can't remember our servers name but she was friendly, helpful, and good about accommodating to our large group. The food and drinks were flowing so it was a good night indeed. Would recommend this nicer dining experience to anyone in the Denver area.

This review is 100% based on customer service and overall experience. I made reservations for 12 for my wife's birthday and expected a delicious dinner along with an awesome atmosphere. We arrived and were taken to our section outside on the patio. That was a mistake made by me. February in Colorado unreliable. But not bad outside. Then the issues started with Nicholas our waiter. Slow service and we felt like we were an afterthought the entire dinner. Started with some Drinks plastic cups to start at a restaurant your paying substantial amount of money for but the water was served in glass! Then we ordered appetizers Guacamole & chips as well as Empanadas. These were great as always only issue it took forever to get both our drinks and appetizers. He disappeared again until entree need to be ordered. Even though everyone was out of drinks and not enough chips to finish the guacamole. Now it was time for entrees again everything came out tasting fine but once again waiter disappeared with extended wait on our second round of drinks while he sat and talked at the bar. So we enjoyed our dinner and I had told Nicholas from the beginning (when we sat down) my wife really excited about the birthday dessert. Well after awhile a hostess comes out and informed us all dessert are done no dessert for my wife's birthday (8:30pm on a Saturday night!) proceeds to offer some cheap champagne on $1000 bill come on. The worst was that our own waiter couldn't have came out and said it for some reason??? Icing on the cake he received a 20% gratuity for lack luster service. All in all we will not be back at this establishment based on this poor service. Truly pathetic by a usually great place to eat all based on service.

This restaurant is in the Clio hotel. Went for lunch. Guessing they only do lunch because it's a hotel. Very nice layout and good service. Very sparse menu. Opted for the Bison burger...meh! Dinner menu looked better. Would not go there for lunch.

Bottomless brunch tapas style is always a hit with our group of friends. Add bottomless drinks for another $25 and this place can get lively on the weekends but we would not have it any other way. Outdoor patio seating the best when available. And if you are lucky, they will have a DJ too. Service can be hit or miss depending on the volume but I would recommend going early to get an opportunity to try everything as they have ran out of a few brunch items in the past.

A group of us attended the flavor tripping tasting. What a cool experience! An included drink and tastings items shown in the pictures were part of the ticket for each person. It was really cool to see how the miracle berry transformed or enhanced everything. Our favorite was how the lemon and lime all changed to a sweet taste. This is not a meal but a tasting so if you go make reservations for dinner before or after. After the tasting we purchased some happy hour pork tacos which were 2 bite size yummy goodness Our friends ordered other happy hour items and everything was delicious . The server was great! As was the tasting chef who explained things to us.

Wow, really impressed with this restaurant. Every single person from my group of 10 was happy with their food, presentation is nice, quality is high and prices are on the high end. Our server was also attentive and explained the menu well. And I must say I don't think I've had better dessert in most restaurants in Denver in many years. The yuzu coconut cake is amazing! Also great was the matcha layer cake. Great job to the kitchen!

This place was amazing. We made a reservation and was seated right away. Service was fast and amazing. The sweet corn empanadas and the scallops were our favorite but we forgot to take a photo of the scallops. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Toro was AMAZING!! The food was so tasty. The plantains and the ceviche paired so perfectly. The lobster quesadilla was a huge hit and we love it. I absolutely loved the octopus. It's always hit or miss but this was definitely amazing!!

A solid choice for the Cherry Creek food scene. A+ ambience. Fire happy hour deals, from 3-5 pm (not to be missed!). Loved that we were able to order a burger and sushi at the same time! Flavors are pan-Latin with some Asian thrown in. I loved the bison burger. Juicy, with a delicious jam. Hubby loved the sushi. Two big rolls--the angry scorpion, which is tuna with crab and cucumber. Flambe salmon roll was great as well. If you're in the neighborhood, definitely worth a stop in.

3/4 of a restaurant open for seating at 6 pm on a Tuesday but no available tables somehow. Hostess tells me to sit in the bar but doesn't hand me a menu nor tell me there's no table service available. My friend and I have dinner in the bar area for two hours, meanwhile, all those open tables in the dining room remain open for the entire length of our stay. It's all hype here: expensive, MEH food and unhelpful staff.

Very nice experience overall. Good friendly service good food and nice bottle of wine. The Tuna Tacos are great, skirt steak is melt in your mouth, the bison burger is delicious. All in all a great evening but they add a "Credit Card Processing fee" to the bill! What a cheap nickel and dime practice for a restaurant with $40 to $80 entrees. It's insulting! Really too bad because it left a really bad taste in my mouth after all the delicious food. Shameful practice - NOT luxury!

Absolutely amazing dinner at Toro! We had the best server, Meagan, alongside her GM, Mike, who gave the all star diamond service for the most perfect anniversary dinner. The food was as wonderful as the service (highly recommend the scallops and bomba dessert). Thank you to entire staff for the most memorable evening and we cannot wait to come back for the ribeye steak.

It's a restaurant inside a hotel, but it has a modern vibe, spacious, and a counter with a bar. Some people were dressed up, and it's a fun lively vibe, especially during the holiday season. The service was great, friendly, professional, and attentive. I was meeting a friend who forgot about our dinner, so I went in and decided to start while waiting for my hubby to come rescue me. The guacamole was fresh but bland. I wish it had a little kick or lime or something in it. The sushi roll was nice, nothing special about it but felt fresh. The blackened tuna tacos were also meh. They were cold, and it was cabbage and thin slices of tuna. I would give it another try for drinks and dinner, but I'm not expecting to be wowed by the food.

Located within Hotel Clio, Toro shows off a beautiful interior as soon as you walk in and all the way to the tables. I've heard a lot about this restaurant and how amazing it is so was really glad I got the chance to check it out. First off, the food was amazing. Everything we ordered was so tasty! Our favorites were the swordfish dip and the crepe layer cake. Not to say that the other items we ordered were not as good but they were particularly delicious. The service was impeccable as well. Our server made sure we were taken care of the entirety of our meal and made excellent recommendations. The parking around there is street parking and gets full during busy hours. Make sure to get there early!

We decided to try this spot out after having this restaurant recommended to me. The restaurant is inside Hotel Clio and is a nice location to go to for a birthday dinner, anniversary celebration, or just to enjoy some good food. There was a mix of dressed up customers as well and people in casual outfits who seemed to be staying at the hotel. Everyone on Yelp raved about the ceviche, which I did enjoy enough. The burrata was decent, and the watermelon with it was a very cool and unique touch. The sweet corn empanadas were definitely my favorite part of the meal. They also gave me a tasty dessert for my birthday! Next time, I think I'll have to try a main entree. I'd also like to sit out in their gorgeous patio. I look forward to returning some time!

Visited Toro during Denver Restaurant week. I had passed by the restaurant a few times and always wanted to check it out. This was the prime opportunity to do so. We had the option to partake in the restaurant week menu or order from the regular menu. We opted for the restaurant week menu. The ahi tuna app was fresh and flavorful. Just the right amount of spice and cucumber and radishes elevate the dish. It was little and the perfect starter for my entree, shrimp and corn enchiladas. The sauce on the enchiladas was a bit spicy but was the perfect amount and the tortillas were so fresh tasting. My husband got the pork belly appetizer which had amazing flavor and came on a corn bread round and topped with a slaw. My husband does not like slaw but really enjoyed this dish. His main dish was the star of the show, the skirt steak with potatoes and plantains. I LOVE plantains, these were good but not the best I have ever had. The desserts of red velvet tres leches and and chili lime sorbet were both delicious in and full of many layers of flavor while not being overly sweet which we really enjoyed. We will be back to try the regular menu. The only issue we had was with the valet parking people. They brought us the wrong car and then we witnessed the valet almost get in a fight with an Uber driver who was dropping someone off who started the argument but the valet guy was egging him on.

Toro was So Good! Not busy or crowded like the other spots close by but the food was outstanding. Stoped in for dinner on a work trip with 8 of us and they were able to seat us without much of a wait. People might be turned off because it's in a hotel but it was great. We started with octopus and corn empanadas - both were delicious - plus cocktails and beer. I had a spicy margarita, the cocktail menu was interesting and they had several local beers on tap. I had a sushi roll and folks at the table got salmon and a few other dishes but everyone agreed the food was outstanding. Service was great if a tiny bit slow but we all left well fed and happy. Great spot in a cool part of town.

They only had the Bar Menu available in mid afternoon. It honestly did NOT disappoint! Flavor was delicious and it really hit the spot without making me feel heavy since I want to do a dinner later. I would highly recommend!

After reading everyone else's reviews I feel like we will need to try again - as our food wasn't anything out of the ordinary. We felt like it was quite pricey for the quality and service. We had to hunt down our server several times, chips and guac took almost 30 minutes to come out. Idk just not super impressed. We did enjoy the ambiance though - that was the best part. It is also very clean

Probably two of the best hotel meals we have ever had. We both had the salad for lunch with chicken. It wasnt too crazy--fresh greens, some avocado and tortilla strips--so easy to eat and not 10 different things going on. The chicken was cooked perfectly and very tasty. The service was also excellent! Then the next morning we had breakfast with the avocado toast and eggs/bacon. Again, the service was awesome and food delicious. Hotel Clio really surprised to the upside here and we look forward to coming back on our next trip to Denver

Back at it like a brunch addict... Came here with my husband to ring in the new year with abundance... starting with bottomless brunch. We enjoyed everything, and I LOVE that the bottomless brunch let's you sample a wide variety of items. Each item was crafted beautifully with quality ingredients. We didn't feel rushed at all, the service was phenomenal (shout out to Maria for helping us!!). 10/10 would recommend!

In honor Día De Los Muertos, Chef Richard Sandoval hosted a chef's tasting of traditional Día De Los Muertos dishes at Toro, Latin Kitchen & Lounge. Upon arrival at Toro, a colorful ofrenda had been arranged at the front of the restaurant. The ofrenda included a lovely collection of objects placed on display for the Día de Los Muertos celebration. We headed out to the patio for welcome drinks, apps & a Mayan healing ceremony around the fire. For welcome cocktails we had Pineapple Mezcal Sours made with mezcal, pineapple, lime agave, Palo Santo bitters & egg white. The Pineapple Mezcal Sour was insanely tasty and was our favorite cocktail of the night. The cocktail had a fluffy head from the eggs white. The smoky notes of the mezcal paired wonderfully with the natural sugars in the pineapple. All in all the perfect blend of flavors to ease us into fall. The Mayan ceremony was led by Nataline Cruz. The ceremony was both educational & immersive. We learned about the ancient traditions of Mesoamerican tribes and the healing methods of copal, tobacco & tequila - it was so cool & Nataline had fabulous energy! Following the Mayan ceremony, it was time to eat. Chef Richard Sandoval developed a Día De Los Muertos menu (inspired by the ofrenda) and from October 4 to November 6, Toro will feature these themed menu items. For our first course we had Palo Santo Margaritas paired with Tortilla Talavera. The Palo Santo Margarita was made with Palo Santo patron reposado, pisco, lime, lemon, agave & celery bitters. The Tortilla Talavera was made with green pipian, white mole, panela cheese, mushroom al ajillo and cherry tomato salad. The panela cheese was fresh with a hint of tanginess. The panela's soft texture went well with the chew of the tortilla. The cherry tomatoes added beautiful bursts of acidity to each bite while the mushrooms added a savory, garlic & olive oil flavor. The green pipian was a flavorful and tangy (like a green mole). For our second course we had Smoked Bees Knees cocktails and Seafood Pozole Verde. The Smoked Bees Knees was made with patron silver, tanqueray gin, lemon and honey. The Seafood Pozole Verde was made with baby squid, shrimp, clam, white corn & marigold cempazuchil oil. The Seafood Pozole Verde was a subtly spicy Mexican stew. The white corn hominy had a distinctively fluffy texture that went well with the chewiness of the shrimp & squid. This was a great summer-to-fall transitional soup (especially due to the use of late summer produce like the tomatillos). For our third course we had Vanilla Smoke cocktails and Mole Coloradito Enchiladas. The Vanilla Smoke was made with patron anejo, del maguey vida, licor, agave, lemon zest & coffee bean. The Mole Coloradito Enchiladas were made with pork picadillo, plantain, almond, onion radish, crema fresca, cilantro and chili oil. YUM. The Mole Coloradito Enchiladas were my favorite of the night - an extremely satisfying and comforting dish. The mole sauce on the enchiladas was everything. The mole was a deep red with complex flavor notes of smoke & espresso (a savory-sweet quality similar to barbecue sauce, but more distinct). For our fourth course (dessert) we had Chocolate Caliente and El Ritual. The Chocolate Caliente was Mexican hot chocolate. The El Ritual was calabaza en tacha cream, caramelized phyllo, mandarin chocolate sauce, Palo Santo smoke and vanilla ice cream. The calabaza en tacha cream was candied pumpkin cream that tasted of brown sugar & syrup. The caramelized phyllo were dark, delicate triangular crisps stacked on top of one another with the calabaza en tacha cream holding them together. All of that was topped with cool vanilla ice cream that added silky texture against the crunch of the phyllo and creaminess of the calabaza en tacha. A Día De Los Muertos meal to remember!

Came in because we did the flavor tripping class! Was $37 and booked for an hour. The actual "class" was only about 15 minutes and we thought there might be more to it but it was still fun nonetheless. Would recommend!

Came here for a birthday lunch and it was great! They stopped serving brunch at 11am but we were around the first people seated at 11:30am for their lunch. The restaurant is inside of a hotel and the lobby and restaurant itself is gorgeous! So many cute places to take photos. We had great service by everyone who helped us. All of the food and drinks we had were great as well.

This restaurant has a an intimate vibe with two areas. One that I would consider best for dates and another, near the bar that would be great for groups. There's a sushi bar where you can see the maki being rolled and a large bar to watch the drinks. The food was absolutely delicious. I strongly recommend the corn empanadas. I had the skirt steak which was incredibly juicy. The Mac and cheese was just okay in my opinion. My partner had the Cusco chicken. I deeply regretted not getting that myself. It was cooked perfectly with crispy skin on the outside and juiciness on the inside. The staff were incredibly accommodating and continued to check on us through the night. Next time I'm in Denver, I'll be back.

First of all, this restaurant is high end so you'll pay the price but it certainly isn't one of those fancy restaurants with over-priced menu with so-so foods; ambiance/atmosphere, quality food with good portions and service were all present. Lively but not noisy, either. It can be a great date night spot but is also a good place for a family dining (we saw at least a few families with babies) and large group of friends and coworkers. This was my first time where I became so full by ordering only a few salads and appetizer (so we didn't order any entree dish; well, we didn't have to.) I have a very sensitive stomach but the baby kale salad was so easy for me to consume and wasn't harsh for my delicate tummy. The cashew aioli underneath the grilled heirloom carrots was simply impeccable. The plantain chips and blue corn tortilla chips enhanced the quality of the Peruvian ceviche. Everything we ordered exceeded our expectations. Cherry Creek has great restaurants but this now is my favorite in said neighborhood.

Toro was phenomenal. My group of ladies and I had the all you can eat and drink brunch last few Sundays ago and we had a blast! The food was delicious and came out family style for the 5 of us. Great portions!! We loved the fruit salad, the shrimp appetizer, the lamb on the sticks, honestly, everything was fantastic. Food presentation was on point. I didn't really love my bloody mary but the orange mimosa made up for it so it was all good. I would come here again since my astrology sign is a taurus and naturally I would gravitate to toro but the food and vibes here were so great that coming back here would be a no brainer. Come here dressed because this place is definitely picture worthy as well.

I love coming here for Bottomless Brunch! Toro is not a buffet like other bottomless brunches. It is a set menu, each course plated and served. Once all items have come out, you're free to order more of whichever items you like. My last visit our meal was served family style instead of individual portions/plates. I don't mind the change, it probably makes it easier on the kitchen and servers and you get to interact more with friends. Items we always order seconds (and thirds!) are shrimp enchiladas, bison skewers and arepas. I tried the quinoa fried rice for the first time this last visit and it is surprisingly really good! I usually am not a fan of quinoa in any form but I did get seconds this last time. They also have Bottomless Brunch menu for kids for $16. My kids ate almost everything on the menu! Waffles, bacon, eggs and fruit. Definitely a place I can enjoy with my whole family, not just girls brunch. Each time I've come it's been with a large group, and it always has been busy. Service can be a little slow and chaotic but the food is worth the wait. Valet is a plus since parking in Cherry Creek can be a nightmare! Just make sure you get your ticket validated.

Eating here is an EXPERIENCE! Literally like a show and surprise with some drinks and dishes. My first drink, the Oaxacan old fashioned, arrived in a smoke-filled decanter and was shaken upon arrival at the table. The smoke infused into the liquid and tasted amazing. My second drink was Casual Encounter, another bourbon drink, and it arrived in one of those lighthouse lantern boxes. The waiter opened the box, also full of smoke, so that it escaped and wafted around our table. I was able to pick up my own drink from within the box- I felt so special and cool! This drink was also phenomenal. If you like whiskey and Smokey drinks, these are perfect for you. They also offer tequila flights! Too fun. We came for 2 birthday celebrations and they gave the birthday girls a very special dessert not available on the menu. It was soo good and made them feel like royalty. It was a group of 6 of us and we ordered basically every appetizer and a few people got steaks and entrees. Nothing was bad or even average! Everything delighted. Top favorites include the empanadas, octopus anticucho, and the potatoes 3 ways. Love the vibe of this place, how courteous the staff is, and how fantastic the food and drinks are. Cannot wait to return with family, my partner, and more friends.

Holy crap this place has delicious food! Brussel Sprouts!!! I could eat them from here in buckets!! Absolutely amazing. I can't say enough good things. All the food was just incredible. It's definitely pricey, but worth every penny. I love that the portions are on the bigger side. It's was 3 of us sharing all the food and it was more than enough! This is my first time eating here. Service was great and the atmosphere was very modern. Had to make reservations because it was packed. Can't wait to come back.

This restaurant is located inside a beautiful hotel but I had mixed feelings about my experience. On one hand, the happy hour menu was great and the food was delicious. On the other hand, we felt rushed to finish our meals and leave. I also didn't get to finish my food because the plate was taken away before I got to it. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, with beautiful decor and a welcoming ambiance. The happy hour menu offered a great selection of food and drinks at a reasonable price, which was a definite plus. While we enjoyed the food and ambiance of the restaurant, the service ultimately felt rushed.

Took a little drive and went over to Toro for brunch today. We spent a bit of time deciding if we'd get the bottomless brunch/drinks and ended up going with it as it seemed to be a really great value. We had 2 bottomless brunch with drinks and 1 bottomless brunch only. It was nifty to get to try all the items on the menu and for the group to be able to enjoy all the drinks as well. Keep in mind that they will bring out tapas portions of the food items and then once you've tried all the items you can get full size items. The cost of $50 for unlimited drinks and food was great, same for the unlimited food option being $30. We calculated that with all the items we ordered it would have been out of pocket around $300 but since we did the special it came to $140 which ended up being a great deal. We would have given it 5 stars but unfortunately the service was a tad slow so we had to make sure to order the next food items and drinks in advance. Plus a few of the food items didn't come out with the right temperature. Another sad moment was finding out their freezer had broken and all the Sweet Action ice cream and sorbet had melted so we weren't able to try that as part of the special. Some of the items we enjoyed the most: bison skewers, ceviche, and the mini Belgian waffles. Oh and the food presentation beautiful!

My wife and I ate dinner here and it was excellent. My wife had the salmon and it was the best tasting salmon she has ate at any restaurant. I had the filet and it was also excellent. Our server Steven was very knowledgeable and described everything in detail from the wine to dessert. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Always a great meal at Toro! Service has always been up to par as well. Nothing beats the corn empanadas. The filet and carrots never disappoint either. Will be back.

Had breakfast at toro with my family since we stayed at hotel Clio. I had the pancakes and a side of chicken sausage. It was standard nothing special really. My daughter had the breakfast sandwich meal and it was huge. It had bacon and avocado on it too. It also had a side of sausage and potatoes. My husband had the steak breakfast and he said he loved it and he doesn't typically like chimichurri. The steak also had a side of plantain and eggs. The plantains were sweet. The restaurant was decorated nice and the server was a sweetheart. I would go back.

This review is solely on food and ambiance. Food was amazing, our drinks were amazing as well. But the service was so slow. He was knowledgable but then disappeared for a while. It took us 3 hours from the time we sat down to the time we left to get most of our food. Server need to be more attentive. The food really saved the experience that we had!

Holy Moly! Stumbled upon this hotel/restaurant and so glad I did! First of all the lobby had carolers singing which was a vibe! The quality to detail in this restaurant is superb. The steak is everything you can imagine and more. Go now! Go!

I enjoyed Toro! The highlights were the Mercado Margarita, baby kale salad and the steak! The portions were pretty fair for the price and the ambiance was very posh being in the Clio Hotel. I would like to try the happy hour for a better bang for my buck and would definitely recommend the cocktails!

Absolutely recommend this jewel of a place! The waitstaff/service was top notch. Everything was on point and and the food was excellent. Hubby and I had the Sunday Bottomless Brunch and Toro did not disappoint. The menu is basically set as prix fixe style. For $49 they will give you a sampler of everything on the menu. When all has been served then you can revisit anything on the menu as many times as you'd like for the following 2 hours. Drinks listed on the brunch menu are also unlimited and very tasty. This will definitely be my go-to place whenever I'm in town again!

The food was phenomenal. Ceviche was very fresh and a great starter. Ambiance, especially outside on a pleasant evening, was great. Highly recommend.

Visited here at a friend's recommendation while visiting from Chicago. We ended up doing the bottomless brunch, and it made me seriously reconsider what I've been doing sleeping in til late afternoon on Sundays. For $30, I was blown away at the presentation as well as the flavors. Bottomless brunch in Chicago can cost minimum $50-75 and for just bare minimum "breakfast" items. We weren't really sure what Denver is known for food wise, but we were disappointed in any of the foods we tried. I will say that the pork belly taco left something to be desired. The pork belly was dry and pretty much tasteless which was kind of disappointing, but everything else on the plate was bomb. The interior of this place is beautiful, and I wish I knew what scent they use to pump into the air in the building because it smelled SO GOOD the second you walked in. They have cute seating areas both inside and outside (it was a bit too cold to sit outside, but I can imagine it's amazing during warmer days). Definitely would love to re-visit this restaurant next time we're in the state!!
