The Best Korean Restaurants in Seattle | Eater Seattle

"Who says broth has to be boring? This restaurant’s namesake dish (called seolleongtang in Korean) features a broth made from ox bones, brisket, and other beefy body parts, cooked for more than 24 hours. It comes to the table milky white, and the server, pointing to a jar of sea salt, will advise diners that it’s completely unseasoned. The liquid can take a lot of that salt, along with other condiments if desired. The “Mixed” version is a treat with brisket, tongue, and shank." - Jay Friedman

The Best Soups and Stews at Seattle Restaurants | Eater Seattle

"You’ll find zero frills at this strip mall stop on 99, where literally any soup on this soup-heavy menu is the thing to order. The star, of course, is the bibimbap served sizzling in the stone pot, but supporting cast members like samgyetang (chicken ginseng soup), ugeoji galbitang (short rib and cabbage soup), or any of the sundubu jjigaes (spicy tofu soup with or without various meats) are just as fragrant and soul-warming. There are no wrong answers here. Just make sure to add an egg to whatever you get." - Jenise Silva

Where to Eat Korean Food in Tacoma’s Lakewood K-Town | Eater

"A narrow, atmospheric spot with darkened, condensation-lined windows and high-backed booths that centers on a fiercely bubbling, unseasoned sullungtang; bowls arrive nearly instantly along with cabbage and daikon kimchi, a fiery chile-powder sauce, a huge bowl of sliced green onions and rice, and the broth itself is rich and tonkotsu-like—so savory some diners drink straight from the bowl." - Samantha Bakall

Google
We tried this restaurant for its Korean traditional soups, and while the flavors were good and authentic, they didn’t quite align with our personal taste preferences. The bibimbap was decent but nothing extraordinary. If you’re a fan of Korean soups, it might be worth trying, but it wasn’t the right fit for us overall.

Google
Love the authentic Korean food, service and atmosphere there!! How many Korean restaurant out there dare to serve their beef soup without seasoning it? Unless they are extremely confident about their quality of food, just like Traditional Beef Soup Restaurant!!!😍😍😍 You get to decide how much salt you want to put into your soup, trust me, if you don’t put enough salt, you might think the soup is bland and the flavor won’t be there! It’s important to put enough salt to bring the truth taste to another level!! We ordered the steamed homemade dumplings and that’s delicious as well. Not to mention their homemade ban chan (Kimchee)!! The bomb 💣 !!!😋😋😋 fresh and crunchy with a kick of spicy!! I have to buy two small size container ban chan home and yes, even my Korean boyfriend said that’s legit ban chan! I saw someone’s post about this restaurant, that person gave 2 stars only and mentioning about the dishes that she ordered has a lot of msg, I don’t really feel bad for her as obviously she didn’t order what this restaurant is known for! Duh, traditional beef soup!! She also mentioned about only two side dishes, to me, that is a authentic Korean beef soup restaurant and I don’t think they should have ten different side dishes…that just going to mess up your taste bug! I do want to make a disclaimer though, I am just a regular customer and not bias about anyone or anything! I am just a big foodie! 2/24/2024, Come back again for their Seolleong Tang with my boyfriend’s sister and niece. Saturday late lunch after 1:00pm, not crowded at all, as soon as we walk in, got seated right away! We ordered three Seolleong Tang with flank meat, mixed meat and tongue, steamed mundo and rice cake and dumpling soup. It’s my bf’s sister and niece first time trying this restaurant and they loved the food! The soup has great flavor, eat it with their Kim chee and radish ban Chan helps enhance the flavor to a different level. I would love to ask everyone who has not try yet to give it a try! You will find it very satisfying! Especially during rainy stormy day!!🤭 To owner and his family, please keep up the excellent job and I will be back soon!!

One of my family’s favorite Saturday breakfast place! My kiddos and I would come here after soccer ⚽️ and have a cozy warm bowl of yummy soup 🍲. Staff is friendly, service is wonderful, experience is amazing. Take-out order is delivered with love too!

Google
I usually never leave bad reviews but I felt like I was scammed . I ordered a tofu stew with (seafood ) i got a couple mini clums with spicy hot water and bunch of tofu . Usually at least I get shrimp and octopus in any other places i visited in seattle . Without forgetting the fact that they only offer 2 appetisers kimchi and radish . I don’t know if it’s bad management or greediness. Hope they will improve they have a nice service and a clean place but food is just a no .

Loved the beef noodle soup! Lots of meat and the flavor is good. My boyfriend enjoyed the bulgogi. Overall good price for the food and portions.

Google
Just 2 appetizers!!! This is the only Korean restaurant that I have ever tried in the world has just 2 appetizers offered only. The server knew we are first time here, I order the marinated beef with glass noodle (stir fried), it turn out beef glass noodle in soup with super heavy MSG, the server just said "I can't help". Ginseng Chicken Soup but can't find any Ginseng, not even a small slice. Quite pricy compare to our neighborhood. You will have more choices in other Korean restaurants.

Google
I got the ugeoji galbi tang (우거지갈비탕) and I was very disappointed. There was very little ugeoji and, similar to other reviewers, I felt as though the soup was lacking authentic flavor and tasted like spicy hot water. Also, this dish does not have vermicelli (당면) like most galbi tang. The chef (or owner?) was a older Korean woman who was more interested in watching her Korean reality shows rather than addressing my questions or confusion about the dish. All in all, I did not have a good experience and I would not recommend this restaurant for its service and ugeogi galbi tang (especially for $25-26).

Google
This is the place if you want to enjoy authentic Seolleongtang, the Korean ox bone soup in the area North of Seattle. The place is mostly frequented by Korean people which is always a good sign. We had of course the Seollongtang, and also Yukgaejang another traditional Korean stew and it was delicious, just what we needed on a cold day in February. It comes with purple rice, fermented daikon and kimchi as a side, which are pretty good, too. Salt and pepper are at the table so you can adjust your Seolleongtang to your taste. Ask to get some sweet mocha from the machine in the store, it's a delicious treat after the meal.

Yelp
For the record. I'm not Korean. I do cook and eat a great deal of Korean food (yes I know, I'm Chinese. Dishonor on me, dishonor on my family, dishonor on my cow). However, on a rainy and cold blustery night here in Edmonds, the ox bone soup was calling is in. I ordered the knee cartilage soup (my form of skin care, product in me not on me), my wife had the beef tongue soup, and our friend got a beef Sundubu. We also shared a mixed meat plate and dumplings. The soups were divine, perfectly milky and smooth filled to the brim with our choice protein. The sundubu was like an entire block of soft tofu was generously given. I can't end this review without shouting g out their kimchi and kkakdugi. They are so good. If I didn't have some at home, I would've bought some to go. Honestly, 10/10 will be back, kansamida.

Yelp
Homey atmosphere. Very kind waitstaff. Ox bone stoup with flank meat and flour noodles is hearty and warming on a winter day (served with rice and banchan -- their traditional kimchi is delicious)
google avatar

J T.

Yelp
The beef soup tastes like Pho without seasoning beside the beef. The beef bulgogi was $25, almost as much as KBBQ AYCE. Too $$$ We weren't given any other banchan besides kimchi and pickled daikon The food were good Service was phenomenal

Yelp
Small Korean restaurant in Edmonds, in the small plaza that's just south of the big plaza with the 99 Ranch supermarket. Went on a non-Friday weeknight and the place wasn't busy, but not empty either. Small menu mostly consisting of soups, including the namesake ox bone soup (Seolleongtang), but has some other Korean favorites like seafood pancake, bulgogi etc. Got the signature ox bone soup with clear noodle. Also comes with a bowl of rice and some chopped green onions. You are supposed to mix in the onions and add salt/pepper on your own. It's a like the other seolleongtang I've had before, very hearty and almost creamy bone soup flavor. There's thin slices of beef in the soup. Good dish to have to warm up the stomach when the weather is cooler. The kimchi they give as part of the banchan is pretty tasty. Just got the right amount of salty and spiciness. Portions of the soup are okay for the ~16 price, although it's probably the rice that's the most filling. Overall, decent place for ox bone soup.

Yelp
Went here around 1pm on a Monday and it ended up being pretty packed. The service was nice. The place was fine, one of their booths they use for storage which looks a little messy. We ended up ordering a beef soup as the name suggests it should be here, squid to mix it up and the dumplings bc we wanted to try. Overall I wouldn't say this place is bad but it's def not good. Would avoid going back. Beef soup - 6 . Not impressed with it, not enough beef, not enough veggies or flavor overall. Squid - 5.5: the squid itself was not good, very inconsistent pieces - some were good and some were too chewy. The sauce didn't really stick on the squid. However the rest of the vegetables in the dish especially the zucchini were really good. Somehow the squid in the squid dish ruined it. Dumplings - 5: it was just very ok, you def need the sauce they gave you bc it's very plain and chive y without it. Not bad just not good, you eat this to get full not really for enjoyment .

Yelp
The server was so nice. Food was hot and came out fast. I ordered the beef and cabbage soup. My husband had the spicy beef soup. I definitely liked the spicy one better. Mine was $25 and barely had any beef, so I'd definitely order the spicy beef one instead. Better flavor and value.

Yelp
Really solid place for some seolleongtang, I really liked the kimchi and radish. Got the dumplings and they are big so I think that's worth the price. The mix soup is on the cheaper side than then other places I've been too. Although I wish we were given more green onion or have a container of it on the table. Interior is pretty small. Service is standard
google avatar

Jeff W.

Yelp
This place specializes in sullongtang, a very traditional bone broth soup. Extremely good for you and hearty. Inside is very mom and pop, limited staff but kept clean. Note banchan is limited to kimchi here which is typical of this type of Korean food so don't be surprised. I got the soondooboo because I hadn't had it in awhile and that was a mistake. In general order the thing that is in the name of the restaurant. :)

Yelp
Always consistently delicious! My go-to is the kalbi tang because it's so flavorful and hits the spot on a chilly day. Their other soups like tofu and beef bone are standouts also. Service is quick and very nice! Love this family-owned restaurant with yummy and soul-soothing food!

Yelp
Outstanding in every conceivable way! They greet you with a warm bond barley tea as soon as you walk in and serve the most delicious and authentic family recipes. Highly recommended!!!

Yelp
Best OX Bone Soup so far, and I like the mixed meat with glass noodle. The kimichi here is also recommended!

Yelp
Really feel like I've found a hidden gem for comfort food on a chilly (probably rainy) Seattle day. My go-to is the beef soup with rice noodles, adding a couple of spoons of salt. The soup is amazingly rich and umami without having too much sodium. Sides are also yummy and the waitstaff is kind!

Yelp
I was visiting in the area from SoCal and was dying for a legit tofu soup and the spicy squid! The portion was generous, radish kimchi was amazing and did I say I loveddd their spicy squid? Needless to say, I will be coming here next time I am in Shoreline area.

Yelp
I've tried Korean beef soup all over Washington, and this place has the best combination of price, taste, and service. The young owner couple is incredibly friendly, and the handmade mandoo offers amazing value and flavor. The cold noodle, made with beef broth, is crafted with such care that you can really taste the difference!!! Definitely thumbs up. Even though it's about a 30-minute drive from my house, I plan to visit frequently. I highly recommend this place to all Korean beef soup lovers. The Modeum su-yuk is unbelievably priced, and even though I usually don't eat beef tongue, it was incredibly tender. The location of the restaurant is also perfect This is a place you can trust without a doubt.

Yelp
You know a Korean food place is good when the Korean ajummas and ajussis pull up. This is a lovely little place in Edmonds that serves a hearty meal that tastes like home. I really love their Seolleong tang (Korean beef bone soup). They allow you to adjust the saltiness level to your own liking (just don't forget to put salt in because they come unseasoned!) and the sauce that goes with the meat is also light and tasty. The mandus (Korean dumplings) were soooooo big and filling. 100% recommend checking this place out if you're in the area!
google avatar

Alan Z.

Yelp
Came here for dinner and got the classic beef soup. It's really light by itself so you're expected to some seasoning that they provide. Be aware that the pepper is stronger than you expect it to be so don't add too much like I did. I really liked the side dishes, the radish is very crunchy and also flavorful. You can order extra rice and it goes really well with everything. Good portion size for the price so if you want something warm, go stop by.

Yelp
In the unbeknownst strip mall, with the most generic restaurant name, comes a solid fix especially on a cold fall/winter day. Traditional Korean Beef Soup is exactly that - what my people call sullungtang. Beef bone soup that's been boiled to a creamy richness, slices of tender, thing beef cuts, noodles, and dump in a bunch of green onions and you're set. Add salt to taste (don't eat without seasoning). And they do it right. Their menu isn't huge, and in fact, I don't think I'd recommend anything else (including the dumplings) but the reason to go here is for the sullungtang. And kimchi and ggattugi (radish kimchi). Service has always been friendly although they do get overrun at times. In fact, they seem like a small family operation and I felt very welcomed always. And it can be a little slower but nothing too crazy. And the location is small. Maybe 8 tables and the bar on the side. But if you have the time, the turn around is pretty quick. It's been "sul lung" since I've found a solid option for Korean food.
google avatar

Timothy L.

Yelp
I love a good sullungtang and this place does it very well! I ordered the mixed meat sullungtang and it is the perfect meal for the cold weather. However while the soup was amazing the kimchi was not as fresh and was not as good. Not a huge thing though. But I do appreciate the relatively lower price of thr sullungtang here compared to other places in the region that serve it. Will definitely come back whenever I am up north.

Jhawk Y.

Yelp
The soup was great, and we had a pleasant dining experience overall. The only thing that bothered us was that we noticed a red pepper on a water cup they served. We saw it before we touched it, so we didn't drink water. Hopefully this is just one incident, and they do clean the dishes thoroughly. Will still try this restaurant again!
google avatar

Yelp
Very yummy it was the best Korean meal I have in my life. They let me eat when they are ready close. It was very nice inside. Got a ac
google avatar

Michelle Z.

Yelp
Under-the-radar mom and pop shop. Soy and nut-free ingredients. Wish they gave more banchan (the tiny dishes Korean restaurants serve before entree dishes). The homemade kimchi is really good - not too vinegary or pungent. Cozy vibes and hot soups served by a team of ajummas. I typically order their seoullong tang (bone broth soup) for a hearty but simple soup to warm myself on those cold, rainy winter days. Pair it up with some filling purple rice and leftover kimchi sauce.

Agnes L.

Yelp
The food is amazing and authentic. I could literally eat this every day. The owners are very welcoming and kind. The place is a good size and they always try to accommodate people based on their needs when seating them. In fact, last week we even got a gift of cute rice cakes for Korean Thanksgiving. Thank you for always being so amazing!

Yelp
I've been craving Seolleong-Tang or Ox Bone Soup all through the winter and when I met up with a friend for lunch, I knew exactly where I wanted to go and it did not disappoint. Traditional Korean Beef Soup in Edmonds is the perfect spot on a cold day. This restaurant had other options including bulgogi, bibim bap, sundubu jjigae, and other soups/stews. However, for your first time, you're really here for the seolleong-tang. I got mine with everything, which included flank steak, tripe, and knee cartilage. You can also get it with beef tongue too. I got mine with vermicelli noodles and the meal also comes with purple rice, and refillable kimchi. I love their radish kimchi and I definitely asked for seconds. As for the soup, the seolleong-tang comes unseasoned, so there's salt at the table for you to add to your desire. There's also green onions to add to it as well. If you're really hungry, I would also order the mandu or handmade pork dumplings to go with your meal. It could be a lot for one person, because the dumplings come in eight per order, but if you're sharing, it's perfect. This place is a no frills restaurant. They have ample seating, but it does get busy during the weekends and at night. It's a small, but very friendly staff, so be kind. If you're craving for something warm and comforting in Edmonds, this is the spot.
google avatar

J V.

Yelp
Friendly service but we weren't big fans off the soup. We aren't used to adding our own salt. Will stick to pho
google avatar

Jay C.

Yelp
Ordered the mixed tripe combo with vermicelli noodles seolleongtang and it came out piping hot. I always go to Yi's, but today I was further north so I decided to give this place a try. Let me tell you, it was delicious! Comes with purple rice, green onions to put on your soup and cabbage and radish kimchi. The kimchis weren't as good as Yi's, but I asked for seconds. The broth was so rich and creamy. This place definitely left a great taste in my mouth. A great place to have lunch or dinner on a cold rainy day or even when feeling under the weather.
google avatar

Sherry W.

Yelp
I was craving Seolleongtang and didn't feel like driving all the way down to Federal Way to Yi's so I thought I would try this spot that was much closer to me. I came on a Sunday at lunch and the place was packed but the counters on the side were all open and available. The waitress was very nice and friendly, and this is definitely a no frills authentic spot. I got the Seolleongtang with the combo of all the different meats and also added tongue. For those who are unfamiliar, it comes without much salt and then you add salt to your taste (and green onion). It was so delicious and really hit the spot. The mandu was also really good, and the radish kimchi was also super yummy. I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Food was amazing. This will be my go to place for Korean beef soup. Soup was so flavorful and menu was simple.
google avatar

Yelp
On our way to Seattle Premium outlet and wanted to get some Korean food (soup) for breakfast. This was one of the places that open early. We were excited to get some hot soup on a chilly morning but as soon as soup arrived I couldn't stand the gamy meat smell. The broth was not thick or savior at all and most of meat pieces had that gamy taste as well. For a traditional beef soup place, I expect kimchi to be amazing but it was really sweet and mediocre. The worse? part was that we were one of first three customers and place was not clean from night prior (food and drink caps on the floor). I dont think we will return to this place.
google avatar

Joanne H.

Yelp
When I come to Seattle, I always make a trip here and it never disappoints. Support this wonderful business & the authentic soups -- perfect to warm your heart on a cold rainy day. I always get the classic beef soup with clear noodles! Can't go wrong & you get to add salt/green onions to your liking
google avatar

Thomas A.

Yelp
This is a very authentic traditional Korean beef soup place. It's a very good place to have a quite lunch. But let's get to the real deal: the beef soup. Oh my gosh, it was sooooo good. The broth was rich and savory, and the beef was so tender it practically melted in my mouth. And they give you all these little side dishes to add to your soup, like kimchi and pickled veggies, which made it even better.
google avatar

Emelina W.

Yelp
Authentic Korean Ox bone soup. But the restaurant is so cold and the door would not completely closed so that the winds keeps blowing on me. They are not many people as before since everyone think the other store is a better one. But this is still a good choice if you live nearby.
google avatar

Allen H.

Yelp
Ordered the Seolleong Tang (Flank/Mixed/Beef Tongue). Comes with purple rice, green onion, add your own salt to preference. Complimentary hot tea (I think barley?), kimchi and daikon. Favorite was beef tongue, much more texture than the flank. Other than the meat, soup base was the same. Good service; seems to be a family-owned spot. Didn't order drinks but they had a fridge full of different alcohols

Irene D.

Yelp
The food is really good! Must try is their oxtail soup, the taste is really clean and the beef is tender.

Yelp
Last time I came it was almost 2 years ago. One of my friend is on keto diet and is packing to move, so suggested to go here for less carby foods. We ordered 2 beef brisket soup, which you can choose clear noodles or white somen noodles. I usually make this with somen noodles at home, so I got somen noodles. We also got mixed boiled beef thing for $35-36 (I can't remember exactly). Also ordered some handmade dumplings. Beef soup: as expected, super hot and boiling. Took forever to cool down but this is the way it is supposed to be! But the noodles were a bit soggy. Maybe boiled too long inside... Soup broth was good tho, much better than before. They didn't charge for a second set of green onions for soup (I think) which was a plus (they used to charge it). Boiled mixed beef: some tendons, beef tongue, and couple others. Asked for it without tripe. Was hot when it came out and was pretty tasty. I even ate beef tongue without knowing it was beef tongue. But honestly for the price, I feel like the plate was too small... I expected a fuller plate but got a medium size plate with some beef on it. Hmmm won't be ordering this dish again. Handmade dumplings: this like the others rose in price and the quantity decreased. I think they used to give more but now, you get like 9 dumplings for $15... again not sure if this is worth it. I did like that it was not as salty as some of the conventional store bought ones. Overall, owners were pleasant and attentive. Service was good. Will be going back for beef bone soup but don't think I will be ordering the other two dishes.

Sue M.

Yelp
Excellent beef soup made with real ingredients and huge homemade dumplings perfectly matched up with their out of this world kimchi! Yummy!!! The rice cake treat was so sweet of the owners, thank you! Such friendly and kind place to warm up your soul! Best korean food in town for sure!

Hannah Y.

Yelp
Too watery. Not sure why they have so many positive reviews. You gotta try JungAnn in Lynnwood instead!
google avatar

Michelle Y.

Yelp
Came here for the first time with my friend who comes here often and i am obsessed. Definitely coming back soon. I ordered the mixed Seolleongtang and it was so deep in flavor. We also enjoyed some dumplings and it was so yummy. Amazing service as well!

Grace G.

Yelp
They are so nice here with good customer service and i loved the food so much we had to go twice on our seattle trip, i even bought a big jar of kimchi to bring home, i've never had better kimchi
google avatar

Lien D.

Yelp
I came here on a Saturday for lunch. I ordered the traditional beef soup with mixed meat. The restaurant was filled with mostly Korean customers so I was expecting great things. The soup was okay. At first sip, it was pretty bland. They do give you a bowl of salt to season the soup though. But I still found it bland after putting two spoons of salt in it. I was too scared to put more. It made it salter but didnt enrich the flavor. My husband said the soup is typically richer and more thick. The meat was fine. It had tendon (which was the best meat in my opinion), tripe, and slices of beef. Green onions also gave it more flavor. Green onions always makes everything taste better. The Napa and radish kimchi was great. It definitely gave more flavor to the meal. I wish they gave us more though. Probably one of the better kimchi at a korean restaurant I have tried. Star of the show. The restaurant is pretty small. They definitely packed the place to maximize seating. It is definitely a no frills restaurant with no decor. There is a big mirror to watch people though. They also had masked singer on tv while we were there. The servers are nice. Would I visit again? Maybe. I did like the kimchi and they do serve other things on the menu that I might like more.

Alicia S.

Yelp
Haven't been here for years and found out its under new management. The soup is as close to homemade as possible. I make this soup at home only twice a year cause it takes about @ $100 in ingredients and literally 2 days of intense labor(soak, blanch, boil, skim fat, prep meat) to get it milky white. Both the radish and nappa cabbage kimchees go great with this soup.

Yelp
This place was highly recommended to us, so 3 friends and I came here to try it. The staff was super friendly when we walked in and everyone greeted us. We were seated quickly. This place is famous for their Korean ox bone beef soup- hence the name- so I decided I had to try it. My friends and I all ordered some variation of the beef soup. You can pick between vermicelli or wheat noodles, and several different meats. The broth was pretty good. It comes unsalted, so you can add salt to taste. It was a little more bland than I expected, and the beef itself wasn't super flavorful. I got the beef flank, and the pieces were kind of chewy and not as tender as I had hoped. One of my friends got knee cartilage and said it was very good. On a cold day, I can see how this soup would hit the spot, but it's a pretty bland dish overall. Maybe I'm just used to the strong flavors of other Korean foods. I liked eating the purple rice with the soup- it gave it a nice texture. I enjoyed the side dishes that came with the entrees. The kimchi and daikon were great. This restaurant just got a new owner, and she was very sweet. I would come back to try the other dishes on the menu- the bibimbap and some of the grilled meats looked good. Overall, pretty good food and nice wait staff.

Yelp
I stumbled upon this place due to a craving for Seolleongtang - ox bone soup - which I've actually never had before.. but maybe I have in a past life? Because I clearly had a bad hankering to try it. It was my last stop before driving back to Portland and my goodness.. this was the perfect breakfast for a cold, rainy day. It hit every. Single. Spot. And was the perfect antidote to warm me up. I was a solo traveler and I can't speak Korean to save my life, but I didn't feel any differently treated from the families that sat beside me. The aunties really made me feel welcomed and even explained things to me. I ordered the combo ox bone soup which I highly recommend if you like a variety in your meat or if it's your first time trying seolleongtang. Don't forget to salt to taste - and don't be shy about it. (I certainly wasn't.) The side dishes were so addicting as well. I'm just in love with this place and I'm definitely visiting when I come back.

Yelp
Thanks to a recommendation from a friend, we tried Traditional Korean Beef Soup for the first time. The food is excellent! (This location is Edmonds; there's one in Federal Way too.) The little plaza is just south of the large plaza where 99 Ranch is located. We ordered in person (mid afternoon on Sunday before dinner rush). The wait is just 10 min, so we just stayed. The lady at the front day was blunt but kind enough. It didn't bother me. Packaging: They did an IMPECCABLE job packing the to-go order with a heaping amount of rice, rice noodles packed separately, generous containers of kimchee cabbage and kimchee radishes, a little container packed full of chopped green onions, and tiny containers of salt flakes and hot sauce. Food: Ox Bone Soup with Flank plus the option of rice noodles - 5 Stars The bone broth is gelatinously wonderful (when cool, not when it's warm/hot). I ate this days later, not day of purchase. I poured the soup contents into a pot, but took out the flank pieces, heating the soup to a bubbling boil. Then I added the flank back in to warm the meat pieces without overcooking, and added in some of the salt and hot sauce for extra flavoring. Poured everything out into a big bowl and sprinkled in the green onions on the outer rim. Tada - restaurant quality! It was perfection. Seafood Tofu soup - 5 Stars The seafood tofu soup was particularly flavorful. It has some baby shrimps, mussels, and plenty of little pieces of squid. I heated all the soup contents together, then added the green onions at the end. Also perfectly reheated. Takeout soups are just the best!! Food was tasty and plentiful. Prices are excellent. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Omg this place is on a different level. Ordered the ox tail soup and had every last drop. Their kimchi and radish kimchi are excellent. I can't wait to come back when I'm visiting Seattle again.

Yelp
Their seolleongtang is so good! If you've never had seolleongtang it's a rich bone broth soup with glass noodles and your choice of meat (tendon, cartilage, flank, tripe). When it's served (very hot) you just add green onions, salt to taste, and a little bit of wasabi or other condiment to kick things up a notch. Along with the seolleongtang came radish and cabbage kimchi, barley tea, purple rice, green onions, and some wasabi. The kimchi was spicy, crunchy, and so delicious! My other point of comparison for seolleongtang is a spot in Koreatown in Los Angeles and this was similarly satisfying so when the craving hits we'll definitely be back!

Yelp
A bit pricey but food was great! Their kimchi was very good! I ordered the ox bone soup and it was delicious. Such a comfort soup. My sister ordered the spicy beef soup and that was great! We also ordered the spicy pork bulgogi. It was great but not really worth the price. Would definetly go again though!

Yelp
This spot is hands down our favorite / go-to. Moving here from an area with some of the best Korean food, I was afraid I wouldn't find an equal but have been pleasantly surprised with all the great spots in Lynnwood and Federal Way! This place is small with maybe 10 booths/tables in total. They have the best yukgaejang -- so deep and rich in flavor (beefy goodness!). Banchans include only the basics: kimchi and radish; but I don't mind! Service is always quick, and everything here is good for either dine-in or takeout. Small parking lot shared out front with the other shops in the strip mall. I imagine it can be tight on some days/times, but havent had any issues so far!
