Wonderful place run by lovely people. We had a lunch here for around 15 people, after our small civil ceremony nearby. Marie was wonderful and so accommodating throughout. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and looked beautiful on the day. And the food is really exceptional, our whole family was raving (special shout for the mussles ). It's become a special place for us and we will certainly be back for regular trips over the coming years.

Sat outside on a lovely sunny Friday evening with a friend and had the best meal I’ve had in a while. We ordered 4/5 plates and everything just tasted so genuinely good. The mussels were incredible. Loved the atmosphere and service. Would highly recommend and would definitely return.

Quite a few staple items were missing from the menu (tortilla, arroz) and we ended up ordering things we wouldn’t have ordered otherwise. We were surprisingly delighted by the morcilla, tuna tartar and the mackarel. Would definitely recommend

Trangallan is a romantic bohemian restaurant serving rustic tapas dishes in the heart of Newington Green, a must for foodies and lovers! The menu changes frequently and offers something different from the standard tapas. Housed inside a former shop, the interiors are homely and welcoming. Outside you will find a few tables and chairs underneath a stripy awning which is perfect for a balmy summer night. Venture inside and it’s an enchanting space filled with vintage furniture. Rustic ladders lean against walls and reclaimed wooden doors are hung behind the bar. Downstairs you’ll find more seating and a place for entertainment. This is a romantic hotspot!

Tranga hosted a private wedding dinner for us for around 20 people on a Sunday afternoon in April - the venue is great, the food and drink were absolutely delicious and the staff were lovely and very accommodating.
