Trenta Pizza is truly a hidden gem in such a unique and trendy location. The atmosphere is cool and inviting, making it perfect for a casual night out or dinner with friends. I absolutely love their pizza and pasta 🍝 , everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and made with care. You can really tell they focus on quality ingredients. Definitely one of my favorite spots and I’ll keep going back 🍕✨

Third visit to Trenta, which says something on its own. The first two times were solid—comforting, confident Italian. The pizzas hit that sweet spot between blistered and chewy, and the pastas are where this place really flexes. The Pappardelle al Brasato is rich and soulful, and the Paccheri Pistacchio is indulgent in the right way—creamy, nutty, unapologetic. This time, though, I strayed from the script. The Cacio e Pepe felt restrained where it shouldn’t be—missing that aggressive salt-and-pepper punch that makes the dish sing. Not bad, just a little too polite. The real misstep was the cioppino. The broth lacked depth and excitement—the kind of thing that should taste like the ocean had a long, meaningful conversation with garlic and wine, but instead barely introduced itself. Seafood portions felt light, and the single, tiny slice of bread that came with it was borderline offensive for a dish that demands bread. Yes, I asked for more—because of course I did. On the upside, the bar knows what it’s doing. The Negroni was dialed in, and the Limoncello Spritzer was bright, refreshing, and dangerously easy to drink. Trenta clearly knows how to do pasta, pizza, and cocktails. Stick to those strengths. Skip the cioppino. Order carbs. Have a drink. Be happy.

Cool spot. Love the outdoor atmosphere. Our favorite dish was the pistachio pasta. Super good. Love how the owner was constantly going around and checking in on everyone so often. Our waiter was great as well. Host was not the best. But not enough to taint the review.

Food was alright. The service was below expectations. Ordered appetizers, main dishes and drinks and told waiter to space it out. Within 5 minutes EVERYTHING came out at the same time!!! Really? Then the drinks came 10 minutes later!!! Do better.

There are many places to begin with this review but I must start with the first steps coming to this beautiful ristorante. When we first came we were seated and Marco greeted us. He spoke of the opening of the restaurant and welcome us like Italy has done for us in our travels. First we start with the antipasto calamari! Fried to perfection and well seasoned breading that is thin and crispy as it should be. The spicy garlic aioli was a perfect match! In addition my wife had the limoncello spritz that was well balanced with the prosecco and very refreshing on this warm sunny day. Next was the main course! My wife had the linguini alle vongole. The pasta was perfectly aldente and with the cherry tomatoes was balanced perfectly! Finally, we come to pizza. I was convinced by the pizza oven in the picture that this was the place to have lunch. The Firenze pizza was so simple but the care and the ingredients made this pizza the BEST I have had in the US and number 3 in the world for me. I've traveled to many areas of Italy and Europe from major cities to small towns of the Italian alps. The smoked mozzarella with the truffle was a perfect paring and the porcini mushrooms! It's difficult to find porcini mushrooms at any grocery store and I have tried! The dough had the perfect chew and crisp and best of all held its form through the whole meal. No floppy sloppy pizza here, perfect char! We will definitely be back to try more delicious true Italian cuisine.

The waitstaff was extremely attentive, refilling our water at every interaction and even making sure our table wasn't wobbly. The food was amazing as well! So was the atmosphere! Definitely recommend!

Wonderful dining experience with authentic pizza and dessert! Our server was incredibly welcoming and was able to help with some slight modifications to the items we wanted to select from the menu. Ingredients were fresh, atmosphere was cozy, and food was delicious. My wife and I were making comparisons of our pizzas to some of the best pizzas we had visiting Italy a few months ago - Gusta Pizza in Florence came to mind!

A truly delightful visit. The restaurant has an elegant Italian ambiance with a warm, welcoming feel. Juliete provided exceptional service with a friendly and attentive style that made everything effortless. The manager was cheerful and genuinely happy to assist, adding to the overall experience. The pasta, pizza, and salad were all fresh and flavorful, and the tiramisu was especially memorable. A great time all around and a place worth returning to.

After two visits here, I can confidently say that this is one of my new favorite spots around Orange County for a filling, complete, authentic Italian meal. A pleasant environment, friendly staff, and delicious food are all a part of it! I'm not a fan of the sort of mandatory feel of the valet service - but it is possible to park down/across the street. For a date night or family outing, this spot is cool, fun, and has lots of options for everyone.

Good: the food was outstanding. Really great pizza and have the short rib pasta dish. Excellent. Service! Good. Unfortunate: Pass on eating inside. For some unknown reason they pump music inside where it's rather difficult to hear each other. We sat at a small table and it was difficult for us to hear each other due to the music. It doesn't make sense why they have this excellent food and good setting but make sure you leave as fast as possible. Who wants that experience? To be fair they have an outdoor seating area but I'm not sure if music is pumped out there as well as we didn't investigate. That's on me. However, if you actually like to talk with another person don't eat inside.

Came for dinner and drinks the other night and had a wonderful time. This spot is located a bit removed from the craziness of Costa Mesa/Newport, in a little plaza with valet parking. Most of the seating is outdoors, with plenty of heat lamps. There's also a lounge you can eat at, or grab drinks at. They take reservations for both areas which is much appreciated. The restaurant and lounge both have a great vibe, especially during the holidays with the extra lighting. Service across the board was excellent, everyone was so welcoming and friendly, and things moved quickly. On the food front, we got the Caesar, Bologna pizza, and Cacio e Pepe (which was a special). The Caesar was fantastic, probably one of my favorite Caesar salads in recent memory, and best in OC. The Bologna pizza was good, I think I wasn't a fan of the salami used but otherwise an excellent pizza. The Cacio e Pepe was also quite good, definitely one of the best ones I've had in OC (my wife thought it could use a bit more Parmesan, but I really liked it as-is). We closed out our meal with the chocolate cake, which was also delicious. Overall, I can't recommend this place enough. I absolutely plan to come back and try more of their pizzas and pastas, and will be thinking about that Caesar salad for quite some time.

This place is such a vibe ! Thank you Grant and George for an amazing dinner. We had girls night to celebrate a birthday and the service and food was amazing. We showed up hungry and thirsty for wine Wednesday and pretty much ordered everything on the menu! Started off with the kale, beet and caesar.. we couldn't pick so we each ordered 1 while we were waiting for our 4th friend. they were all great selections, the caesar stood out with the fried capers! Then we did the trenta trio pizza - we learned trenta which means 30 refers to the 30" pizza.. I couldn't remember the flavors we got, I think one was the Torino, caserta and amalfi. We also ordered 3 pastas.. the pistachio paccheri, orecchiette, and papperdelle. All great selections ! And yes this was only for 4 people. I wished we spaced out the food ordering so we could've enjoyed it hot. Pastas came out piping hot and delicious then the pizza right after and we couldn't keep up with all the food. Their espresso martini was delicious and well had 2 bottles of their brunello which paired perfect with the meal. Ended the evening with the tiramisu and a Panna cotta type. We sat inside the lounge and everything was delicious and we'll be back! Thank you George and Grant for the great experience !

8.5/10 Pappardelle Al Brasato - Firstly, I want to preface this review by saying I'm incredibly picky when it comes to pasta. I have very high expectations and specific preferences. My favorite pasta is pappardelle, so when I saw this on the menu, I had to give it a try. The meat was really tender and delicious, and the pasta itself was cooked perfectly. My only concern was the sauce. I didn't love it. I felt like there wasn't enough sauce for the amount of pasta, and the flavor wasn't salty enough for my taste. Cost - $33.95 in total before tip.

We had such great service here, they were so attentive and thoughtful providing recommendations. I was so grateful to find so many gluten free options. I tried the mushroom and truffle pizza and it was so good for gluten free! My friend got the ravioli and thought it was excellent. I recommend the limoncello spritz too, very refreshing. If it's a nice night do sit on the patio!

came here on the recommendation of my friend and glad i tried it! we were a group of 6 and made a reservation ahead of time for a friday night dinner. we were seated in the patio and quickly serviced and they were accommodating to my guests special needs. everything went smoothly and food came out at a great pace. THE ORDER: -polpette ($18) - comes with 3 beef meatballs slathered in marinara, mozzarella and parmigiano. these came out super hot and were flavorful. i enjoyed these! there was a lot of liquid in the pan probably from all the cheese and fat but i didn't mind as it was part of the flavor! -calamari fritti ($18) - fried calamari with a garlic-chili aioli. comes with a good amount and had good pieces of squid (aka not too much batter). it tasted very light and not oily. solid! -bari pizza ($26) - comes with red sauce, mozzarella, prosciutto, arugula and a whole burrata. thought it was ok, but didn't blow me away. little on the pricey side for the size. the crust was good though! -pappardelle al brasato ($30) - braised short rib ragu pasta. definitely a more unique pasta as ive never had some with a meaty liquid sauce. it was ok, but i prefer more traditional pastas. the short rib was cooked well and tasty, so if you love short rib try this one out. -spaghetti alla carbonara ($26) - comes with pieces of pancetta in your traditional carbonara sauce. this was solid! PROS: -indoor and outdoor seating -service was friendly -food came out piping hot and fresh! CONS: -parking can be tough, but there is valet -slightly pricey for the size -solid, but nothing blew me away - but willing to try it again and see if anything else does! OVERALL: id love to come back and try the big sharable pizzas!

We sat outside for dinner and the atmosphere was actually pretty nice, and I'll give them credit -- their reservation system is convenient. But everything else fell short. It took forever just to get our check, and parking is valet-only for $8, which feels excessive for a casual pizza night. We ordered the Napoli pizza, and I'm not sure how to describe the disappointment. I usually love a good Italian-style pizza -- this one tasted mostly sour and flat, I'm not a fan of their sauce, it's missing that rich, balanced flavor and texture. If you're looking for a true Italian or Napoli-style pizza, I'd pass on this place. We also tried the Paccheri pistacchio pasta, which was quite unique and did the job -- probably the highlight of the night, but still not enough to make up for the rest.

A beautiful Italian restaurant atmosphere! Wonderful pizzas, so many different ones to choose from. Beautifully crafted drinks. The staff was very kind and professional. Went out for my friends birthday, they offered a birthday dessert which was greatly appreciated! We got the trio where you can choose any 3 of their pizzas and it's $75, a wonderful way to try a variety of the pizzas they offer! The Hugo spritz drink is refreshing to sip on with its minty flavor. The purple Vespa drink is also quite tasty, more citrusy, a good choice! Valet parking is $8

Kinda missed tasting pizza from Naples when we were in Italy so I wanted to find a place that could try to represent that. This place came close but not as good of course :). Been to this place twice now, my girls love it. The pizza is good but I wished the sauce to dough ratio was better. It's makes the dough too soggy. We have had their pasta dishes as well. Carbonara was a bit too eggy for me. It didn't appeared that well balanced in regard to creaminess. The beet salad was refreshing. Pretty open space venue with open kitchen with bar sitting at the counter. Great for large groups but make sure you make rezo otherwise expect to wait a while. Parking can be challenging. No street parking unless you go far. But they offer valet parking and they take all sorts of payment which is a plus!

This place is great. They graciously took us in on Sunday close to last call, doing it with a smile. Service was good. The pizza is high quality. The dough has a slight chew, and delicately thin. Sauce was bright and fresh, cheese and other ingredients are high quality and fresh. The vibes are very cute, garden style with a vintage kind of feel. We ordered Napoli, Firenze, and Sicilia. Napoli had fresh mozzarella and basil, traditional and very delicious. Firenze had mushrooms and truffle oil, and the Sicilia had anchovies and olives - very interesting! It's ever so convenient that our hand car wash place is a few doors down - it's a good place excuse to coe here !

What a great spot. We sat inside to the right in the bar area and Brooke was our server. She's awesome. Great Italian food really good energy. The place was busy but not packed. I wouldn't change a thing. The valet guys are even awesome and we're a good sport about letting me park my classic car. I still paid and tipped of course, but they let me park it right out front, which was cool. Will definitely return.

I had a 7pm reservation for 3 on a Tuesday night and it was poppin'! The atmosphere was charming and lively, their decor sways on the end of eclectic vs cheesy (I'm looking at you Buca). The cocktails were strong and craft fully made. We got the Roma pizza, the pistachio pasta and Caesar salad. I'd pass on the Roma pizza, my party wasn't a fan of the broccolini-- but maybe we'll need to try a different one because we loved the crust. The Caesar salad and pistachio pasta were 100/10- just executed so well, I'd return alone for those 2 dishes. I think where this place really gets its flowers is the service. We did have to wait about 20 extra minutes past our reservation time, and we were later told that two servers had called out, leaving them short-staffed. That said, my party didn't mind the wait--we grabbed drinks at the bar and settled in. Honestly, once we were seated, you would never have known they were short-staffed. Our food came out in a timely manner, our waters were refilled as soon as they got low, and the staff was consistently attentive. Everyone was kind, accommodating, and prompt. I couldn't disagree more with reviews claiming the service was bad--we were checked on multiple times throughout dinner and felt very well taken care of.

Returned because I remember it was so good 4 years ago! It still is!! Great outdoor ambience with the twinkle lights, beautiful tables, and thank goodness for propane heaters! They have nice, pretty ones that add to the ambience. Service was good. Our server was charming and chatted us up. Everyone always had a smile for us. The food was still as fabulous as ever. This time we ordered: Trenta Salad - I enjoyed this salad. I loved the balance of the apples, goat cheese, and all the ingredients. Mixed Fried Plate - My hubby was craving fish and chips. This appetizer hit the spot for him. Lots of delicious goodness in this serving. Calamari Fritti - Perfecto!! I loved the aioli and how they prepared their calamari. It's crispy and not overly battered. Delish! I like to pair this with a side of spaghetti with olive oil and garlic. Mwah! Napoli Pizza - Talk about how food can transport you to a memory! One bite and I was back in Italy! Damn! Paccheri Al Pistacchio - I have never seen such fat rigatoni shaped pasta. Omgoodness! Not only was the noodle perfectly cooked, but this sauce is fantastic! Great dish! For dessert we ordered: Chocolate Temptation Pistachio Truffle Both are decadent and delightful. I was a little sad that they aren't housemade. It's okay though. They were still very good desserts. And you come to Trenta for the pizza, pasta, and the calamari!

We had a great experience-- visiting from MN. Staff was welcoming and the chef accommodated a food allergy in our group. Food was wonderful.

My wife and I visited Trenta's newly opened lounge tonight, hoping for a nice evening together before the holiday craziness with family. The food itself was very good, and we were looking forward to enjoying the cocktail lounge ambiance. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed--literally--by an influencer and her family seated right next to us. They had a very distracting bright spotlight set up for photos, and it stayed on almost the entire time we were there. Instead of the relaxed atmosphere we expected, we found ourselves staring into a blinding light that made it difficult to have a conversation or enjoy the setting. I understand that restaurants attract all kinds of guests, but I do hope the staff sets some boundaries to preserve the ambiance they're going for. Great food, but the environment tonight made it hard to fully enjoy for the two of us.

The food here is incredible but the atmosphere was a huge turn off for me. There is no parking, unless you pay a valet fee, we had to park in the ghetto and walk a while and J walk to get here, I know this would be a huge turnoff for most. Then the music is so loud inside I couldn't hear my date half of the time or the waiter, you can even here the music blasting after we crossed the street. They did have a live dj which was cool. The food was amazing, we ordered a pressuto pizza and short rib pasta which filled both of us up. The flavors were epic and the food fresh and perfectly baked. Our server Georgio was also amazing, he was very personable and respectful.

Very good food, great service. Issue is the price. My pizza cost $30 and it was very delicious but I think it's a little steep. The first water container tasted a little soapy but then they replaced it with good water. I would still come back as I would like to try the pasta too

The ambiance was so nice! We had a reservation and it was little to no wait. Service was good as well. Food wise my favorite dish was Pappardelle al Brasato (short rib pasta)! We also got the Fettuccine Bolognese! The pizza was good but not my favorite. I would definitely come back and try another pizza :)

Trenta Pizza is hands-down one of the best pizza spots in the area. The crust is perfect and everything tastes amazing. 100% will be back.

Great experience and truly excellent food. Took a little bit for someone to help us get seated but once seated, service was great. The pistachio on the pizza with chili oil was a game changer. Very good and perfect kick to it. The pasta is highly recommended as well. The open kitchen concept was fun and I would come back here. The only con is that it seems like valet is mandatory as there are no other places to park in the area.

I wanna say the quality and taste is good. But I think its a personal preference what i mean is the pasta for me is too mushy and chewy. Also I was annoyed by myself for ordering gnocchi pasta. I did not know that this pasta is hella mushyy its like eating overcooked pasta. This probably the worst pasta ive ever had. Pizza was ok not my preference tho but its ok. Ambiance is good not that bad. Service was great all of them are attentive. I don't know i don't think i will go back again. One annoying thing is the valet parking i guess you already if you can easily park your car.

I recently went to Trent's for a large book club dinner (11 people) and it was awesome! I know it's not easy to have large parties but the service was amazing! On top of that the food was amazing! I loved the pizza and pasta that I got for my entree. I will definitely be back to Trenta.

Wow. The only thing not to love about this place is the outdoor dining when it's raining. The food however distracted me from the misty air and it felt like a wonderful trip to Italy without leaving the confines of Orange County. Meatball appetizer - holy cow these are amazing. I judge an Italian restaurant by the meatballs. These were absolutely incredible. 3 per order but was enough for a table of 4 to share. Arancini - melt in your mouth goodness. These exceeded my expectation and were soft creamy and served at the perfect temp. Bolognese - absolutely fantastic from the fresh pasta to the portion size, sauce to noodle ratio etc. chefs kiss! Mushroom ravioli - about 6 or so per serving, again, enough to share when doing family style with a large table. Sauce was creamy and delicious, nicely balanced out the meatiness of the mushrooms. Trenta pizza - we went spicy and sweet - all three flavors were incredible. A bit pricey at $75 for such a thin crust pizza and our party of 4 easily crushed this. We left a few pieces to take home for a guest who couldn't join us. I think next time I'd do individual pizzas and share that way, and it would end up being a bit more food to pass around. The wine was incredible - had a nice Pinot noir which was my second choice, as the first wine tasted off. I sent it back and there was no issue with that at all. Had two salads and both were delicious and plenty to share. I think next time I'd skip this and get more meatballs :) Family owned and you can tell they care and take pride and grace when attending to their guests. I wish there was indoor seating, as it was cold and rainy. Parking is valet only ($8) and I didn't see any street options available. Lot can fit maybe 6 cars. Food tasted authentic, was high quality and portion sizes reasonable for the price charged. Definitely adding this new find to my OC rotation!

Trenta is one of Newport Beach's most authentic Italian restaurants! Trenta's seating was mainly outdoors, and it was a cozy atmosphere with subtle lighting and beautiful minimalistic decor. Our party ordered the popular favorites like the calamari, torino pizza, and orecchiette alle cime di rapa pasta. The pizza was a highlight as the sweetness of the apple and candied walnuts balanced well with the more savory parts of the pizza. I enjoyed how thin the dough was, and it was the perfect blend between texture and flavor. The outdoor scene is perfect for a special occasion or casual dine in.

I've ordered the same thing twice now and both times each dish was perfection. The Sicilia Pizza & Tiramisu. Best I've ever had.

The best Italian food and an amazing staff to complete a perfect dining experience. The owners are great guys and they have cultivated a magical space to enjoy some of the best food around. I highly recommend and don't be afraid to try everything on the menu! I've never been let down.

This is such a cute spot for a celebratory casual dinner! Tip: they only offer valet parking here for $8, however you could also find street parking in the surrounding neighborhoods. My friends and I came here on a weekend to celebrate a birthday, and we loved the staff and the food! Our friends were running behind, so some of us who arrived early were able to sit at the bar and grab some drinks. Our server, Ethan, was phenomenal, and very attentive with our table! My friend had a drink she didn't like, and he was able to replace it for her. Our party of 6 split the trenta trio pizza, which came with a total of 18 rectangular slices of 3 different style pizzas, all put into one. I have no idea what we got, but they were also super good, and two had mushrooms on it which I love anything with mushrooms! I also had the purple vespa and blackberry mojito, both of which were delicious drinks.

Great food! Excellent service! The food was delicious and they were very accommodating of allergies. The water was always full and the appetizer and entrees came in a timely fashion. Juliete was our server and she was great ! Very friendly and the covered patio was very nice for the great weather. Would definitely come back.

We got takeout for my birthday dinner and honestly everything was great- cheese pizza for the kids, pesto pasta some salads and the chicken piccata for grownups. Good stuff!

Came here for a night out with friends I had indoor and outdoor seating. It was really nice for a Friday night shared some pizzas and we all got our own pastas. We were all very happy with our orders. Everything was really yummy. It had cute lights outside. I will definitely be back to try more pasta and pizzas here. Make sure you make a reservation they do it pretty busy. It is also valet parking but if you park on the street behind, it's free and you can just walk through the little neighborhood.

Best hidden gem! The ambiance is sooo cute and totally gives Italy vibes. The Reggio Calabria and the Bari are my two favorites, but honestly, you can't go wrong with anything at Trenta. We love this place so much. Make sure to ask for the chili oil and maybe a little honey to drizzle on top, it takes everything to the next level!

Valet only for $8... it's the only other restaurant in that plaza so unless you want to walk, that's the only choice. The outdoor seating is very nice and there was a small amount of tables inside but not sure how many. The service was good and the food came out within a good amount of time. I ordered the carbonara and I think it was made wrong. Looking back at pictures and in previous experience, it wasn't cheesy/creamy at all. The egg yolks were not incorporated well into the sauce and it basically tasted like there was scrambled eggs mixed with pasta noodles. It still tasted ok and I'm still willing to come back to try their pizza though. I didn't order any cocktails but my friends did and they were all good.

I want to start off I am very picky to the places I go to eat and spend time with either family or friends. I decided to go here with a friend last night and we both felt offended. We waited for a table and they literally took us to not even a proper table, this area was right in the kitchen area where they make pizzas and walking in and noticing there were plenty of other tables and other people that came after us sitting in a table outside. That was pretty upsetting. Other than that I felt like the ambiance was good, but we did feel a bit rushed ordering and felt pressured to buy wine and drinks too many times. Keep this on in mind it was our very first time here!

i came here with my sister over a month ago and we cannot stop talking about it!! amazing fresh and high quality ingredients + unique and flavorful combinations make this spot a must-try. the ambiance was also rlly nice; they have plenty of outdoor seating + our service was awesome. everything we got was amazing so i doubt you can go wrong with anything on this menu, altho i will say im definitely coming back for the pistachio pesto on the catania pizza!!

Really enjoyed my experience at Trenta Pizza! Here's a breakdown of the order: Caesar Salad- a solid Caesar salad but nothing special. Meatballs- the meatballs were also good, I enjoyed the sauce but the meatballs themselves were a touch bland. Margherita Pizza- loved the crust on the pizza, crisp with a nice bite. The sauce on the pizza was a bit bland but had a strong garlic flavor come through. Amafli pizza- this was the highlight of the dinner. The meat on the pizza was so delicious and just a touch spicy. I recommend this pie! Carbonara Pasta- a very delicious pasta. The pancetta in the dish was so tasty. A good pasta dish if you are going that route! Drinks- we all got cocktails and enjoyed them quite a bit. My brother and I both got a Negroni style drink and both felt that there wasn't much drink in there. It felt like maybe an ounce of drink, but the drink itself was very tasty. Service- the servers were kind, but weren't very prompt in attending to our table. For example we ordered some wine, and it took 15-20 min for it to arrive. Ambiance- the ambiance was great, really cute patio with fire going. Wonderful place to hang out!

Parking: $8 Valet Only - this was frustrating as I had an early dining reservation and arrived around 5:15pm on a Friday, their lot is extremely small but there were two open spaces, yet I still had to valet the car. As a business, I would think to offer free valet due to a small lot or allow parking in the available spaces on a first come first serve basis, then utilize the valet service. Ambiance: We were seated outside next to the busser station where throughout our meal young waiters and bussers congregated and chatted amongst themselves just feet from our table, we were so close to this station and to 4-5 of them talking at a time that I found it hard to have my own conversation at my table. Mistakes happen, but there was a point where glass fell and shattered all over the station (twice), glass even flew under our table. They quickly cleaned this up, but no one came by to check on our table, apologize for the disturbance, etc. Food Quality: We tried two pizzas - the Reggio Calabria and the Napoli. The Reggio was delicious, the sauce to topping ratio was perfect. The Napoli was thinner than paper (and I like thin pizza) the sauce, cheese, and basil were scarce. Overall: The food was good, but the other factors really hindered the enjoyment of the evening.

Food was ok but the service needs improvement. Also the tables are too squished together. Also a bit pricey for pizza ans basic pasta.

My mother and I had dinner at Trenta Pizza & Cucina yesterday evening. The restaurant has a cozy, welcoming vibe, though the small chairs and tightly packed tables made the space feel a bit cramped especially during the dinner rush. I later found out from a friend that they offer hooks for handbags, which would have been helpful to know when our server saw us struggling with where to put ours. The food was okay... classic Italian fare with a straightforward, no-frills menu. The pizza was well-cooked and the pasta was satisfying, but nothing really stood out. It's a decent option for a casual neighborhood meal, though I wouldn't go out of my way to dine here again based on the food alone. What did impress us, however, were the drinks. The cocktails were well-crafted, and the wine selection had some pleasant surprises. If I return, it'll likely be for a drink and a light bite rather than a full meal.

Wow this is such an amazing spot! On a Saturday night, the parking was small and only by valet. We are outside which was decorated great, indoors looked cute too. There was even a DJ outside. Service was fast & friendly. I got the Pinot noir which was tasty. For dinner, we got the pistachio pasta and the Sicilian pizza to share. Both were so flavorful. Definitely one of the best Italian spots in Orange County. Will be back!

It started when our wine arrived warm and went downhill from there. First our starters arrived we were told the main dishes would take some time and would we like some bread. After waiting for a long time we had to remind our waiter that it hadn't been delivered. When the main course showed up one order was wrong and mine wasn't there. I had the lasagna with what was supposed to be a meat sauce. It was pasta and cheese no meat sauce. When I complained the manager came over and showed me some little bit of pink and said that was the sauce. Then the dessert was a long time coming and part was missing. This was not an inexpensive restaurant and on top of that only had valet parking you had to pay for. I would avoid this place.

This was my second visit to Trenta! I know there are some mixed reviews on this but I think their outdoor seating is cute. As for the food, it's really good. I did order the same items the 2 times that I've been here, but I loved it both times! Also, I always appreciate when a restaurant offers gluten free options AND notates it on their menu. My only critiques about Trenta are the parking situation and that the service was a little slow during my last visit, but nothing that would stop me from coming back!

GREAT pizzas! This place was really cute and I love how this place was set up. We happened to come here on a rainy Saturday. However, there was enough coverage on the patio to block it out. It looks like it's only outdoor seating, but we did see some sort of a bar vibe indoors. We ordered the calamari fritti, which were good... but nothing that special. Also, the arancini verdi, which was very simple and perfectly fried, but very plain. For the pizza, we ordered the Bari and this was just fantastic. This is probably the best pizza around. The pizza was piled with toppings and on top of it, a generous portion of burrata on top. It was so delicious and everything worked well together with the arugula! We ended the night with some cannolis. Overall, a great spot for pizza! The service was standard. We did have a wobbly table, but we appreciated them for stabilizing it. We were also checked on a few times. Tip: for parking... I don't think anyone should be doing valet. The parking lot is super tiny and yall should save some money. Park on Pomona Ave. There was plenty of street parking there and walk through Malibu Pvt road (the new townhouse community) to get to the restaurant. It's less than a 5 min walk. Honestly, with how fat we are, it doesn't hurt to walk lol

Delicious & authentic Italian spot, food & service were great, lovely outdoor area. Pasta & pizza were all very yummy- el dente & fresh. Can't wait to be back!
