"Renton’s popular dim sum darling has a second location in Shoreline, and it has a massive dining room of tasty Chinese food. Rice rolls stir-fried in XO sauce have char that a young Blackstone only dreams of replicating. Sweet-and-sour chicken is a hot, crispy highlight. And we truly can’t stop eating the Szechuan fish swimming in peppercorn-steeped broth. We’ll be back to try the weekend dim sum, but this pleasant addition to the north end already works well for a casual group dinner." - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley, gabe guarente, aimee rizzo, aimee rizzo, aimee rizzo, aimee rizzo, gabe guarente, aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley, aimee rizzo, aimee rizzo, aimee rizzo, aimee rizzo, aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley

"We love this dim sum restaurant’s Renton location for its garlic-fried crab, rice rolls, and puffed-up pork dumplings. Now Shoreline is getting in on the action with a Triumph Valley outpost replacing the old Super China Buffet Restaurant space. Expect long lines for the highly anticipated spot." - kayla sager riley, aimee rizzo, gabe guarente

"In early March, Renton’s Triumph Valley finished taking over the former home of Super China Buffet in Shoreline, bringing one of the region’s most hyped dim sum spots tantalizingly close to Seattle. Prepare for lines: By now everyone knows about the deep-fried egg yolk mochi the Seattle Times raved about a few years ago, and everyone else is going to want to get a seat here too." - Harry Cheadle

"Triumph Valley, a popular destination in Renton, is putting finishing touches on renovation of the former Super China Buffet location in Shoreline and is expected to open in October. With newfound competition, it will be interesting to see how Triumph Valley and all the existing dim sum restaurants in the area rise to the occasion." - Jay Friedman

I was just thinking about how much weight I had put on over the last 18 years of dining here. Lots of lunches with my coworkers and trips with the family. The food was always great and well worth the price. It's been a while, I look forward to coming back. I hope it's exactly the same.

Google
I've been to the Renton location for excellent dim sum and I'm looking forward to the Shoreline location opening soon!

Just came back from the soft opening and this is the best dim sum in North Seattle hands down!! Every dish we had was flavorful and fresh without being salty or overpowering. The interior is also well-updated with nice lighting, seating, and even background music. The service was amazing despite the lunch rush on the first day--multiple wait staff checked on us and were very polite and courteous. Plenty of street parking in the lot, but get here early because there was a line forming at the door by 10:45am. We're excited to go back and try each dish during future visits!

Yelp
Long awaited renovation and welcomed addition to Shoreline's growing dining scene. Triumph Valley in Shoreline is a major plus for Northenders! Free parking is another bonus. I missed out on Day 1 of lunch service, but spontaneously checked it out after 5pm w/The Homie. Welcoming staff upon entering! Festive flower arrangements. Sleek, bright streamlined interior. Gashapon/claw machine corner by waiting reception area. Upbeat soundtrack. Definitely, quite the transformation from the former buffet. Sadly, no dinner dim sum available. Our order was cancelled. Most likely, menu item availability got wiped out during lunch service. Pot of oolong tea ($4) Half Hong Kong style Roast Duck ($19.95)...tender & delicious. Skin could be crispier. Shanghai Style Sweet Pork Loin ($18.95)...on point, served hot, and succulent. Again, could have crispier exterior. We were dining on the run, so passed on apps, steamed rice & vegies for this brief stop. The dinner crowd really ramped up as we were leaving after 6pm. Remember: they are in soft opening mode, so exercise patience and kindness when dining onsite or placing takeout orders. Welcome to Shoreline, Triumph Valley!

Yelp
I went there for dim sum, excited with the grand opening. The Renton location is really good, but the quality of the food here is lacking. The fried foods were dark and bitter, due to oil that hasn't been changed out. The chili oil was burnt to crisp and bitter. If you messed up making the oil, throw it away and make a new batch. Don't try to use it up on your grand opening week. The food took forever to come out, and looking around we weren't the only ones. I will try this place again at later time after they get things figured out to see if it's more like the Renton location.

Yelp
Rounding up a 3.5 during soft opening. Nice service but they're clearly figuring things out. Overhearing that workers left randomly and led to complications as we were dining. Currently soft opening starting today (March 04). We tried to get dim sum at dinner but were told later that the shifu (expert) is not here so they can't make dim sum today, perhaps tomorrow. They definitely served dim sum during lunch, so seems like there was miscommunication and difficulties. Writing early in case anyone stumbles upon this Tuesday in hopes of ordering dim sum! We ended up settling for their entrees, very disappointed as we were looking forward to the dim sum. Food was average, nothing special but not bad either. Hoping to revisit for the dim sum.

Yelp
Walking in now, I can already tell it's gonna be 5 stars! Welcome to Shoreline! The service is already incredible, I'm pumped. Will update when I finish eating!

Yelp
Great quality dim sum and some more interesting dishes than most places around town have. They're still getting service sorted out with some dishes coming super fast and some taking a little while but everyone had a great attitude and they were up front about it. Very happy to have them here in Shoreline!

Ann S.

Yelp
We thought all the dim sum we ordered was very good, comparable to Jade in International. $4.75 for 2 people for a pot of tea seems high, but we are happy we don't have to go all the way to International for dim sum.

Yelp
Last night me and my husband went to dinner there the food not so good we order appetizers deep fried oysters and salt and pepper fish they no taste no flavor at all and spice chicken too salty and also beef chow fun no good too everything is warm not super temperature hot maybe they just have grand opening maybe I will try dim sum is good I go again but dinner I won't go back dinner for while

Yelp
For a soft opening, Triumph Valley was busy. They have a seating area for people to wait. Electronic check in. The staff are on top of check in's. Service was excellent. Our waiter was there instantly. If you don't speak Chinese they have other Asian people to help. Great food. We had sweet and sour soup, a vegetarian sauteed dish, tofu with gravy and a fish appetizer. Once ordered the food came out very quickly. Plenty of parking. The place is very clean and organized. They do serve Dim Sum for lunch or dinner.

Sean C.

Yelp
I ordered and after 90 mins didn't even get my appetizers. We left hungry not willing to wait anymore because our 20 month old couldn't stay out any later

Ben M.

Yelp
I had a great meal. Ideal lunch spot if dim sum is your thing, and it's absolutely mine. This place is such a welcome addition to the Shoreline restaurant scene. I don't know what's wrong with the guy complaining about a wait, I had no problem. Welcome to Shoreline, Triumph Valley!

Paul T.

Yelp
Hey folks, I've been watching you build this restaurant in shoreline for over a year. You opened yesterday and I tried to go in to have my first lunch today. I was told there was not a table for a single. And I would have to wait up to half an hour. On my lunch. Not good. 0 out of five. If I could give zero Stars I would. Try better
