Tru Bru presented plans to the City of Henderson to add a new outdoor patio to the former cigar lounge. Promised to be coming soon, the original location roasts all its coffee in micro-batches and prides itself as a community destination open daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. welcoming students and parents, and designed as a regular meeting place for friends. Yet to reveal its ambitions for Henderson, the Tru Bru original has hosted live music and trivia nights, and grew from its coffee shop origins to serve wine, craft beer, sangria, and mimosas.
