"Created with a mission of spreading “wholesome goodness,” the micro‑roastery Tru Bru Organic Coffee is expanding to Henderson after six years of encouraging customers to “slow down” and enjoy its food, wine, and craft beer menu. Launched in Orange, California, the original roasts coffee in micro‑batches and prides itself as a community destination open daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., welcoming students and parents and serving as a regular meeting place for friends; it has hosted live music and trivia nights and later added wine, craft beer, sangria, and mimosas. The Nevada outpost will take over a 2,442‑square‑foot corner space at The Commons at Seven Hills retail center and Tru Bru presented plans to add a new outdoor patio in the former cigar lounge, though specific Henderson ambitions are yet to be revealed. The menu focuses on organic chicken, eggs, and grass‑fed beef: breakfast offerings include French toast, burritos, sandwiches, scrambles, and pastries heated in a wood‑fired oven; lunch features burgers, salads, a tuna melt, and vegan soups; small bites include Caprese salad, loaded potatoes, avocado toast, and hummus paired with pita bread." - Bradley Martin
