Best Vegetarian and Vegan Restaurants in Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"While not a dedicated vegetarian restaurant, most of the menu at this Oprah favorite leans vegetarian, pescatarian, and gluten-free. Try the quinoa burger with hummus, tzatziki, tomato, butter lettuce, cucumber, red onions, and avocado topped with feta cheese or the spaghetti squash casserole mixed with DiNapoli tomatoes, caramelized onion, zucchini, and mozzarella. There’s also a spinach and mushroom pizza and flourless chocolate cake or strawberry cake and ice cream for dessert. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free dishes are marked on the menu." - Eater Staff

Best Gluten Free Restaurants in Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"Most of the menu at True Food Kitchen in Buckhead and Alpharetta is deemed gluten-free and includes a wide range of options beyond salads and grilled meats. Try the gluten-free entrees, which include salmon with snap peas and wild rice, lasagna bolognese with turkey sausage, and spaghetti squash casserole which sings with caramelized onions. I absolutely love True Food Kitchen! Good food and healthy options? That’s always a win in my book. I’ve been here many times, and each visit has been consistently pleasant. Whether it’s the flavorful wrap, the refreshing watermelon salad, or the pretty (and tasty!) drinks, everything feels thoughtfully prepared and delicious. And let’s not forget the kale salad—it’s so good it makes you forget you’re eating kale. If you’ve been thinking about trying this place, don’t wait. RUN—your taste buds and your body will thank you!

My cousin is vegan and visiting from out of town. I found this place to take him to eat. I had the sourdough pepperoni pizza and pink lemonade. It was delicious! The atmosphere is very nice! Service is good! I will definitely return.

Let me say, the restaurant is beautiful with amazing vibes. The staff is friendly. The food came out cold, it was barely warm. What a disappointment. Definitely not worth the money at all ...Will not be back. Spent $50 and was still hungry when I left.

It's been years since I've been here. Today didn't stand up to the delicious wholesomeness I remember. Tofu scramble looked lovely but was way too acidic and nearly killed my taste buds, while the accompanying toast was burnt, I had to ask for a replacement.

Google
While I do love true food I just ordered a 16 dollar Sza salad with no meat and the portion to go was very underwhelming. The portion in the photo is more of a side salad portion in comparison to other salads in the area. I likely won’t order to go again if the portions aren’t the same while dinning in.

Everything was amazing! From experience to the food to our server Rashaad! I had the teriyaki bowl with grilled shrimp and loved every bite. In town for just this weekend and had a great experience :)

Google
What a wonderful place to eat healthy and enjoy a peaceful atmosphere on a Friday night. If you are looking for the best mix of healthy and comfort food with a twist this is for you. The only downside is the prices are a bit high even for the quality that is being pushed out , which is notably impressive.

nancy

Google
This is what $50 of food from here looks like. The portions are crazy, especially given the price. I understand that you pay for convenience when you order food but paying for this food is just not worth it. I got the Mediterranean shrimp entree (emphasis on the word “entree”). The shrimp itself was poorly seasoned, heavily salted, and had a gummy-like consistency. I wouldn’t come back here again.

Yelp
OMG where do I even begin with True Food Kitchen and the absolute legend*that is Darren, our server?! Let me tell you, Darren is BEYOND AMAZING and totally AWESOMESAUCE!! This man is a true gem, the kind of person who instantly lights up a room with his personality and warmth. He's personable, attentive, and clearly loves making sure everyone at his tables is having the best time possible. His energy is so contagious, you can't help but enjoy yourself when he's around. So, this was officially our second time having Darren as our server, and let me just say--he's 2 for 2 in delivering the most wonderful experience ever! The first time we met Darren was about a week ago, and from the moment he introduced himself, his vibrant personality and customer service skills shined. He made awesome recommendations (which, of course, were all spot on!), and we were beyond thrilled with his suggestions. Alright, let's dive into the food because YUM!!! For starters, we kicked things off with some of my all-time faves--the Roasted Butternut Squash Soup, Charred Cauliflower, and the Mediterranean Hummus--all from their amazing fall menu, which I live for! Then came the entrees: I wanted to try the new Chicken Parmesan, but sadly they were out. But never fear, Darren came through with another fantastic recommendation--the Original Chicken Sandwich, which was DELISH! My mom went for the Spicy Korean Chicken Sandwich, and we were both in flavor heaven. For drinks, I had the *Blood Orange Margarita, and my mom had a Hot Toddy (she wasn't feeling well, but that Hot Toddy hit the spot!). Now dessert--honey, you know we had to get the famous Squash Pie! And I also tried the Chai Caramel Cake (DIVINE!). They were out of the Pie Spiced Latte, but Darren--being the hero that he is--had them make me a special cappuccino, and it was perfection. The food, the service--it was all a 10/10 experience. Fast forward to today--yes, we went back for round two with Darren's recommendations, and once again, he nailed it. We started with the Butternut Squash Soup (Mom got a bowl this time, lol), and the Charred Cauliflower because, duh, it's a fave. For dinner, Mom went with the Turkey Burger and Sweet Potato Hash--another solid go-to. But I was feeling adventurous and wanted to try something new. Darren recommended the Grass-Fed Steak Tenderloin, and OMG, when I tell you it was bussin', it was BUUSSIN'!!! Like, melt-in-your-mouth good. For drinks, we did the Spicy Pineapple Margarita and the El Pomelo Margarita, both delish. And of course, dessert was Squash Pie and cappuccinos to top off the meal. Seriously, if you haven't been to True Food Kitchen yet, run, don't walk, and make sure you request Darren as your server. Trust me, you won't be disappointed--he's the best!! Tell 'em Raven sent you! Oh, and don't forget to download the InKind app so you can pay your bill and earn some cashback at your fave spots, including True Food. Kisses until next time, lovelies!

Yelp
Came here an hour before closing (Friday) and wasn't sure if they were open. I was seated promptly but my server didn't make it to me until I asked around. Parking was open but mall was closed at 9pm. When my server came he was so nice but when I asked for popular or recommended dishes from salads, bowls, and entrees he said he was new and not sure. That said, he helped me get a tulsi tea (lemon ginger honey tee- very spicy in a good way) while I looked some more. When he came back I ordered a cup of butternut squash soup and the tuna poke bowl. I enjoyed both immensely and thought they were great late dinner food options, not too heavy. Wouldn't go out of my way to come back, but I wouldn't avoid coming back either.

Yelp
Came here for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. The atmosphere was chill. Great lighting. Low hum in the place. Lots of smiles from the customers. Not so much from the workers. Didn't have the greatest experience with them. They mostly seemed uninterested in being there or serving our group of four. That aside, I think the food was below average which was the sentiment from my entire group. It wasn't as flavorful as I would hope. And then with the price point that it's at, I expected it to be more tasty. I ate it because I hate to see food go to waste but I didn't necessarily enjoy it as much as I hoped. What they did do amazing was that Iced Oat Shakerato. Dang that was good. But it was heavy on the ice. So not as much liquid. I'd highly recommend that.

Yelp
The tuna poke bowl was delicious. The addition of jalapeños added some nice heat that paired well with the citrus sauce. The real star was the black rice which had a slight al dente texture and provided a meaty chew that contrasted to the texture of the tuna. The service was off-putting. I sat at the bar at 4:00 on a Wednesday and the bartender barely engaged with me... which I get as she must have been swamped with the total of two other people at the bar and the completely empty restaurant to not make drinks for. I asked for a Diet Coke and she looked like I just kicked her cat. As she looked at me with disdain, she said "we don't do soda here" and walked away while talked to her back and asked for a water. She gave me a water and that was the last I saw of her until I paid.

Yelp
A real chef would never ever tell an actual patron that they'd willfully undermine a customer's safety to save $3. This place is going downhill fast. The "executive chef" literally just tried to kill me by sending a gluten filled pizza, and chalks it up to his need to account for supplies when reporting to corporate higher ups. Story: when using the uber eats app, I forgot to sub in gluten free crust (an additional $3) when placing my order. Upon noticing my mistake, I contact restaurant immediately to have it resolved. I explain to them the situation and even ask if the added pepperoni could be left off to compensate for the gluten free up charge. "sure we'll take care of it!" Delivery arrives. Box says "non gluten free". I call to clarify the confusion. The person claiming to be an "executive chef" says that he chose not to fulfill the request because I didn't pay for it and he has to account for his supplies when reporting to corporate. Meanwhile my entire food list (all others gluten free) came to about $85. A real chef would never ever tell an actual patron that they'd willfully undermine a customer's safety to save $3.

Yelp
What a great experience! Service was amazing. I have gained a new mantra: it's an explanation before and an excuse after. Had a small issue and it resolved without it even being questioned. I enjoyed my food but my service was better. Will definitely be back! Too hungry for pics.

Yelp
My husband and I visited here after our daughter raved about the lunch she had a True Food Kitchen. She loved the 'clean food' approach and urged us to try knowing that we are into nutrition and gluten-free ingredients. First,, the parking. The restaurant is in Lenox Square which has the strangest parking situation of any mall I've ever seen. The entire front lot was closed and the side lot was all valet for $15. So know that going in. We are seated promptly, and I visit the restroom to wash my hands. It needed attention. We waited for someone to check in with us for about 20 minutes. When our waiter arrived, she apologized for the delay. After that, we had to ask for silverware. The food was tasty. We both ordered butternut squash soup. I had the seasonal market salad and my husband had the salmon. The meal was $70. The other thing that stands out was the noise level. I'd say the restaurant on this Friday night was about a third full, and it was pretty loud. I can't imagine what it would be like if full. On the positive, if you are seeking many gluten-free and vegan options when dining out, you won't be disappointed. I'd like to see a more buttoned up dining experience. We will probably give it another try because it is walking distance from our home - but most likely for carryout.

Yelp
I have been a fan of this restaurant for a while since they opened in California so was very happy to find it in Atlanta. The food is amazing with great ingredients and flavors. This location is big and has a very large patio area. The service is good.
google avatar

Brenda J.

Yelp
Visited on a Saturday afternoon around 1:30 and it wasn't crowded so we were quickly seated. We chose to sit indoors, though there is lovely outdoor patio seating, and bar seating options. Our 8-year old preferred the cheese pizza which she thoroughly enjoyed, and it is pretty large size for a child. I preferred the Thai Peanut Noodle Bowl with shrimp added and my partner ordered the Grain Bowl with Salmon added. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and were glad to have a healthy, light option available in this heat. We all ordered the spritz drinks but they were severely lacking in bubbles so we'd skip them next time. Great time. Note it shares parking with Lenox Mall so plan for that

Yelp
Honestly the buffalo chicken ranch salad was one of the best lunches I've had. The air fried chicken is somehow also gluten free (?!), so crispy but also was not dry at all. Lettuce and veggies were fresh and crispy. Avocado was perfectly ripe. My sister had the avocado toast which was on thick sourdough bread with a jammy egg. Would definitely order again. "Perfect amount of chili oil and spice, bread was fresh." She also had the brown sugar ice shaken espresso, which was notably better than its Starbucks counterpart. Also, not pictured b/c I ate it so fast, was the flourless chocolate cake with vegan ice cream. It was INCREDIBLE - so warm and gooey (which is hard to achieve with flourless cake!) and there was caramel on the bottom. We arrived late b/c of a classic Atlanta traffic situation and they were still able to seat us for our reservation. It was really busy but the service from everyone was fast and attentive throughout. Will definitely be returning!

Yelp
Slightly overpriced but sooooo good! The edamame dumplings are to die for. Tried the chicken wrap, the ancient grain bowl (the usual), the potatoes. Service was just ok maybe because at 2:00pm they slow down. The ambience is always proper and matching the type of food. I give 5 stars to the food but the service was a 3 stars for me. I had a vodka passion fruit cocktail. Way too sweet for me but delicious.

Yelp
I've been to the True Food Kitchen in Avalon in Alpharetta before, but this was my first visit to the Lenox location. Parking is easy with tons of lot and deck space at the mall. My friend and I decided to meet here since she has a lot of allergies and can count on True Food kitchen and the staff to meet her dietary needs. When we arrived, we got to sit in the covered patio which was such a nice space on a summer day! I ordered my usualy go-to order, the Ancient Grain bowl with shrimp. The shrimp is always so plump, and I love the textures from the snap peas, sweet potatoes, and portabellos. The pesto is also so tangy and delicious!! I had a great meal and will definitely be returning.

Di D.

Yelp
Food is healthy and good. Portions are small and not enough for sharing. Prices are very expensive. Atmosphere is a bit of an open diner with tables next to one another and no privacy of any sort. I could hear everything neighboring tables' customers were saying. I'm sure they could hear us as well. Service was OK not fantastic. Good food, but way too expensive for what it is!

Yelp
Food was fresh and prepared well. I especially liked my kale salad with blackened shrimp. It was delicious! My girlfriends liked the entree as well. There was no leftover !! We saw people preparing pizza dough, making fresh fruit juices, and cooking on the background. Blade was our server and he provided excellent service. He made sure we had everything we needed to have a special time. We liked it so much that we tried to go back on our way to the airport but the heavy traffic in Atlanta did not allow it. Next time for sure .

Yelp
Without a doubt, I've always had great service here. The staff is always so friendly and attentive. Love all the healthy menu items which leaves me feeling super satisfied and clean. The grass-fed burger was delicious! I had ordered the umami sauce on the side but it was so good I ended up dipping every bite into it. Nothing better than mushrooms and caramelized onions on your burger! Chefs kiss!!

Yelp
I am a HUGE fan of True Food Kitchen and this location did not disappoint, especially because of the most amazing, caring, funny and attentive, waiter ever! His name was Terrell (sp?) and he made our meal so memorable that my coworkers and I almost forgot we were on a work trip. Their patio is really nice and not too loud which was perfect ambiance for us to be able to have our meal and chat. I had their Ancient Grains Bowl (soooo good!), and added grassfed beef, which was perfectly cooked. I also had a cup of the butternut squash soup and their Kale Aid green juice. PERFECTION! Just perfection. I walked out of there with a happy heart and a happy tummy.

Yelp
True food kitchen is such a great place for tasty yet healthy meals. Went to this location for brunch and got mimosas, like 5 orders of edamame dumplings (they are addicting), a salad with steak, and pizza to share with the table. So delicious. Our server was good though there was a delay in getting service at the beginning
google avatar

Tammara S.

Yelp
Take a pass on this one! Service was slow and it wasn't even busy. The restaurant looks good and has great ambience. However, this true food isn't good food. The menu has changed and not for the better. I guess they want the menu to have "healthy" items only so they no longer serve the truffle fries that I loved. The burger was dry and lacked flavor. The honey carrots were just basically sliced and pretty much raw. The sweet potato hash and the butternut squash were the only things I enjoyed. The pepperoni pizza was good but a little soggy in the middle.
google avatar

Yelp
This venue is focused on serving Organic, Vegan, and Vegetarian food. The venue is connected to a mall so parking and traffic can be difficult. You cannot access the restaurant from the mall. I like the set up of this place. They have outdoor seating that is completely covered. and encased so you get the natural sunlight and gentle breeze but you can be protected from rain. The inside has a pretty large bar area, some high tops, and some booths/tables. Staff is pretty friendly. I ordered the Bougie Blanco Pizza and tried some of their Vegan burger. Both tasted fine but nothing to write home about. I am not vegan or vegetarian so this was not going to taste exceptional to me either way. I did like the food. The drinks are surprisingly good here. The Smoke Show has the perfect balance of Bourbon and smoke. The expresso martini tastes like pure coffee.
google avatar

Michelle L.

Yelp
I think they've updated their menu since the last time I went- I have never seen the Yam & Cheese sandwich before! This was quite tasty! A bit too heavy on the BBQ sauce, but I would still order this again. I like the sweet-savory combination with the yam and cheese. It tastes like a slightly sweet grilled cheese sandwich with BBQ sauce. I like how thick the bread is. The tuscan salad is also great! Very fresh! I think I still prefer the spaghetti squash casserole though. However another round of applause to True Foods for another great dish!
google avatar

Mel N.

Yelp
There seem to be a severe communication gap between the kitchen and the servers! I've been here many times before, and it has not been this bad! We ordered the zucchini, spaghetti casserole, and was surprised to find that not only was it lacking taste, it was missing the main ingredient - zucchini! Apparently they Ran out of zucchini and never told the server or the customer that they were not going to put any substitute in the casserole. We were not given a choice before hand to select something else! It is ridiculous that they offer an entrée that the main ingredient is missing and have not offered a substitute before it is ordered! I'd also ordered the artesian bowl with grilled shrimp and it was served to me not grilled! It's a shame that my go to place in Lenox after I shop has basically gone downhill in their food! I'm not sure I will return to this place, unless they improve their food and communication between the kitchen and the servers!
google avatar

Hannah C.

Yelp
Dined here for Sunday brunch, and it was overall an okay experience. I had the lavender oat milk matcha latte, strawberry crumble cakes for the table, and blueberry pancakes. The pancakes were thin and crispy on the edges, but lacked flavor. The matcha latte was pretty good, but the lavender overpowered any matcha flavor. The strawberry cakes were good, but a bit cold. Decent food, but not really memorable and overpriced for what you receive.

Yelp
I've been here in the past (5+ years ago) and recently (2 days ago), maybe a total of 4 times. It has been a consistent experience, so deserves a review. The service is always spot on, never once an inattentive server/bartender and everyone has such great personality and positivity. The decor is clean and inviting, always. My true rating of a 3 instead of 4 is for the next reason. The food is good, but not great. I don't want to give it an excuse that its all natural menu, because I have been to others with utterly explosive flavors and creativity (i.e. Ugly Kitchen in NYC). There are some stars on the menu like the burgers. The appetizer menu could use some more creativity. We ordered the cauliflower and brussels, and though good, were not memorable. The teriyaki quinoa bowl was "meh", as if it was not popular enough to give max flavor. However some other dishes at our table looked good enough to peak the interest of my eyes. I give this place a solid stop for all natural food, if that is your desire. You wont be disappointed, but it is also not a menu you will be clamoring to return to finish, in my opinion.
google avatar

Nikki C.

Yelp
I really love the concept of this place-- local and sustainable ingredients, vegan and vegetarian friendly, but the food was just ok. I had the lasagna which was good but not as flavorful as other lasagnas I've had (maybe it's because they use turkey instead of beef/pork?). I enjoyed my fresh pressed juice drink (Bright Eyes), nice balance of slight sweetness and earthy flavor. They have a large lovely patio to eat outside. This location sits on the end corner of Lenox Mall. Service was excellent, my waitress was very pleasant and explained the menu/restaurant concept since it was my first time there. She gave me honest opinions about the food options. I would go back if I'm in the mood for a nice healthy lunch.

Yelp
Despite my initial skepticism towards True Food Kitchen's healthier approach, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional quality of their offerings. Opting for a burger, I found it to be a delightful departure from the traditional, with each bite bursting with flavor and satisfaction. The accompanying potatoes were a standout, striking the perfect balance of flavors that left me craving more. And let's not forget about the mojito - it was simply bomb, offering a refreshing and invigorating burst of flavor. I was tempted to order another, but alas, my schedule called for a return to my interviews. Nevertheless, True Food Kitchen has won me over, and I eagerly anticipate my next visit to indulge in their innovative and delicious offerings once again.

Yelp
My friend and I stopped for brunch drinks on a Sunday. The cold brew was strong and delicious, but my friend's Cinnamon Toastini cocktail was a standout! She also had the blueberry pancake, which she raved about. She loves their turkey burger too, so I plan to try that next time! Our waitress was incredibly nice and accommodating. We sat outside, and it was beautiful--the fans made it comfortable. Plus, I loved the open kitchen concept!
google avatar

Yelp
We often go to True Food for brunch on weekends. The food always hits the spot - healthy, delicious, and a great variety. The restaurant is bright and upbeat. And the service is impeccable - the team is always very attentive and on top of their game!! They're clearly well trained as they're knowledgeable about the ingredients and so helpful with recommendations! Today, we got the Edamame dumplings, Korean noodles with salmon, crustless quiche, flourless chocolate cake, turtle Sundae and kale aid. Everything was fantastic! We'll be back soon!!
google avatar

Lexi R.

Yelp
Decor I love how open this restaurant is! The open windows welcome the beautiful sun in, and the greenery placement gives an explosive boost of freshness. Service The waiter's beautiful smile, amazing enthusiasm, and knowledge on the menu was all anyone could ask for. Her mindfulness kept us enjoying ourselves and the experience. Drinks COCKTAIL QUEEN IS HERE: & I approve ! I absolutely love dealing with a real mixologist. You can just taste the difference in their skill and knowledge behind how flavors, interact with the palette. They truly understand how to express balance behind the various complementary and complimenting flavors. Food The bone broth ramen was one of the best ramen's I'd ever had. The dish was a perfect blend of fresh and savory ingredients. I didn't expect that the restaurant could pull off dishes with honest and true food, backed by flavorful ingredients. I'm excited to get back to this ramen again. Price Under $30
google avatar

Lena A.

Yelp
The service here is pretty slow but the atmosphere is nice. But honestly, the food just didn't do it for me. The portions are super small and not very filling at all. The salmon was tiny, and the asparagus was really undercooked. The chicken sandwich was also extremely small. None of us in my group enjoyed our meals. So, if you're looking to really eat, I wouldn't recommend this place.
google avatar

Julia H.

Yelp
Healthy choices at Lenox Mall. I usually get the Spaghetti Squash Casserole but they added some new menu items so had to try the Pot Roast Dip.
google avatar

Ericka B.

Yelp
i have digestion issues and it limits what and how much i can eat. The pink lemonade was a tad too strong for me (my issues limit certain things) My other half loved it. We had the Hawaiian fried rice and the bbq chicken. The rice was heavenly, nothing like expected and is topped with an egg. The flavors are explosive and nicely blended. The bbq chicken was over a smokey quinoa and had some roasted veggies. This was a very light yet filling meal. I didn't leave feeling over full or weighed down. I never clean a plate but this meal!!! Not one bite remained. I'm so impressed with the freshness, the ingredients used and how well they sat on my super sensitive system. Gi issues, vegans, clean eaters, special diets, bariatric patients this place is for you!!!

Yelp
This was my second visit to True Food Kitchen (I live out of state). Ordered off the brunch menu on a Sunday and had the breakfast burrito. It was made with steak. My daughter ordered the same, but substituted chicken for the steak. I should have done the same thing. I couldn't bite through several pieces of the meat and the whole pieces came out of the burrito, making a mess. There were a couple bites I actually had to spit out into my napkin after chewing them as much as I could. I ended up leaving a few pieces of steak on my plate untouched. Based on my previous visit to True, I'll definitely be back. No more steak burrito for me, though.
google avatar

Yelp
The chop salad was excellent! We also liked the roasted butternut squash pizza. Our favorite was the caramelized onions topped with almond ricotta cheese. They delivered to me.

Yelp
Stayed at a hotel in Buckhead and saw this at Lennox Mall. Plenty of seating open at that time, and appeared to be well staffed. When my server did finally appear, he was friendly. I ordered the kale salad with steak and a beer. The food arrived before the beer, and when he went to check they were out of what I ordered so had to do another one. The kale salad was very good but the steak very disappointing. Most of it was too chewy to eat. Didn't meet expectations, not a great value for the experience.

Yelp
Amazing Kale Caesar Salad topped with fried chick thighs!! Excellent flavor :-) Oh my-the sweet potatoes took me back in time to my great-grandmothers' kitchen in Dentontown, MS. She was better known to me and my siblings and cousins as "Fat Mama"---our term of endearment for her. These sweet potatoes taste just hers!!! I never thought I would ever have s. Potatoes likes hers (how unexpected in an airport!!) They were cooked to perfection-adequate amounts of real butter/salt/sugar--not overloaded with spices-well done on the temp :-) simply perfect! Wait-the absolute BEST thing about this restaurant: Betty who was my waitress. She is one of the most kind-hearted humans I have ever met. She was very patient with me and answered all of questions about the menu and history of Chic + Beer! She was super gracious/informative/energetic/quick :-) Huge blessing to cross paths with people such as Betty! The perfect ending of a hectic travel day in ATL!!!

Yelp
I had a nice dinner with a large group before my sister's wedding in Atlanta, but I am now excited to try more options at the Pasadena location near me! The server was kind and thoughtful, and he helped with taking photos of the group. The roasted brussel sprouts was a good appetizer: it was a bit spicier than I expected, but that may be a perfect fit for some people! For this meal, it was a good balance with the vegan pizza, with more mild and subtle flavors. The peach lemonade was very tasty with a nice presentation. I am excited to try more drinks another time!

Yelp
Excellent restaurant for customer with dietary concerns. Many food options, with delicious taste. Inside/outside seating makes for a beautiful ambiance. Our server was prompt and friendly. He answered questions about preparations and suggestions. The beverages were good for the little diners. Parking was excellent, which is premium in Metro Atlanta. Highly recommend for diners of all categories.

Yelp
I visited Atlanta to be with the family and decided to experience a local restaurant alone. I found myself in Lenox Square; where True Food Kitchen is located. I just wanted to dine outside. I did not realize this was a health-based restaurant launched by a doctor of integrative medicine - Dr. Andrew Weil. I was greeted immediately by the hostess and she was delightful. She offered menu recommendations and returned with my Modelo quickly. She was very pleasant. The menu is based on gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian diets. My Teriyaki Quinoa Bowl with Organic Chicken breast was delicious and filling. It was just the right amount. I had a chance to sit in the outside area and enjoyed people watching. I made my way to the rest of the restroom and questioned whether I should have sat inside because the ambiance inside was just as pleasant. I'm big on the cleanliness of restrooms and this place hit the mark. The only minor thing I would suggest is that patrons are given notice that their menu is health-based when they are seated. I would have eaten regardless, but I could imagine that some patrons would leave. If you prefer healthy food, you will thoroughly enjoy True Food Kitchen. It hit the mark!!

Yelp
My favorite place to dine for lunch when I am near Lenox Mall. I would call it my go to!! Ancient Grain Bowl, Herb Hummus, Edamame Dumplings Best time to arrive is before Ciara, my favorite bartender, leaves.

Yelp
True food is one of my favorites! The food is always so fresh and delicious - they even use fruits and vegetables that are in season at the time you visit the restaurant. The service is great with an amazing indoor seating area full of plants and an even better patio outside for the best ambiance.

Yelp
My first time here and it was awesome! Came for dinner with my mom and sister. I had the hit ginger and honey tea that was perfectly sweet and so good that they ordered one too. We had the charred cauliflower app and I wasn't expecting it to be sauced but it was very good. Enough for 3 if you're not starving. I got the Mediterranean salad as my entree and it was a good size. My sister got the ancient grains bowl and my mom got the Panang curry. It was all delicious! And reasonably priced. All of our food and teas came to about $95. Service was great and free parking via the malls lot. Would return.

Yelp
PROS: very good turkey burger, full of flavor & sweet potato hash was very good as well, service was excellent and ambiance was good. Overall, rating the food, 1-10, I'd give it a 9. I also had two Spritzers (not shown), prickly pear and peach, both were very good, light taste and spritzy, of course. Of the two, the prickly pear was better. CONS: can't think of any

Yelp
Upon arrival we were seated quickly but the waiter took quite while to come to our table, we ordered drinks and an appetizer. We were waiting to order our food as my husband and I were talking and discussing the menu. After we finally ordered our food and saying to waiter where was our appetizer he comes back to say the food had to be remade due to the onions so it would be recooked. The manger went over to the kitchen grabbed the potatoes and brought them no onions but cold from sitting there. Order the veggie burger and it came burnt.I told them about the onion allergy so I would've understood if it did have to be remade but since you can see directly in the kitchen please don't lie.

Yelp
Love True Food Kitchen, especially their guac and chips! They could give more chips, but I always just ask for extra. They've got some yummy bowls, highly recommend this teriyaki one. Love when they open the curtains in the outdoor section of the restaurant

Yelp
Was between 3 and 4 stars. Ordered the glass noodle bowl (take out) as a big group order. I thought it was pretty good! Tasty veggies, fine flavor. It was not bad but also nothing to write home about. I would probably try something else next time. The tulsi basil tea was amazing, and really enjoyed it.

Yelp
We visited a True Food in Arizona a few years ago so we decided to give it a try after shopping at Lenox Mall. The food was delicious and the service was great. There are loads of great options for my vegetarian husband, which is nice. We'll be back!
