The Best Restaurants in Manhattan’s Koreatown

"The calling card here is the namesake Korean fried chicken — in either soy-garlic or spicy versions — set to a jazz soundtrack among soaring walls filled with vinyls and record players. Throw back those delightfully crispy, endorphin-releasing chicken wings and drumsticks with beer towers for your group of friends." - Caroline Shin

The 15 Best Restaurants In Koreatown

"Turntable Chicken Jazz used to be located on the second floor of a regular-looking office building on 5th Avenue. Now, it’s around the corner in a street-level location—and it’s still a great place to eat fried chicken and drink beer from neon vats as you look at vinyl records all over the walls. The best dishes at Turntable are the boneless and bone-in wings, served either spicy or sweet and sour. If you need to supplement your order, try the awesome bulgogi burger or a sword made of thinly sliced fried potatoes on a stick." - bryan kim, kenny yang, hannah albertine, matt tervooren

The Awkward Dinner Guide

"Suitable For: Going Out With High School Friends You Haven't Seen In Years To make this dinner a success, the key is spending minimal time asking everyone where they're living now, and getting straight to reminiscing about the time Jeff threw up on the carpet in Allison's parents' living room. In other words, you need a place that has light-up beer towers. This fun Koreatown restaurant has those, as well as great fried chicken and other stuff to share." - hillary reinsberg

Turntable Chicken Jazz - Review - Koreatown - New York - The Infatuation

"Turntable Chicken Jazz used to be located on the second floor of a regular-looking office building on 5th Avenue. Now, it’s around the corner in a street-level location—and it’s still a great place to eat fried chicken and drink beer from neon vats as you look at vinyl records all over the walls. The best dishes at Turntable are the boneless and bone-in wings. Served either spicy or sweet and sour, these are the reason you’re coming here. But if you need to supplement your order, the rest of the menu is also worthwhile. Try the awesome bulgogi burger or a sword made of thinly sliced fried potatoes on a stick. Turntable is one of the most fun restaurants in Koreatown. It’s great for big groups, and it’s a solid spot for dining around Madison Square Garden and Penn Station. Just because you don’t get to walk through what feels like a secret passage anymore, it doesn’t mean this place is any less cool. Food Rundown Hot & Spicy/Soy Garlic Wing Combo The big-ticket item. Turntable offers plump, juicy chicken that comes in plus-sized wing and drum form. You can mix and match flavors to your heart’s content, which we appreciate. Hot & Spicy Wings Another batch, because we can’t get enough chicken wings. Order these. Soy Garlic Boneless Wings There are boneless wings too. These are for all those people out there who like to pretend they ate the bones. Twisters Fried potato skins on a stick, covered in spicy sauce. Yes, you want a couple of these. Bulgogi Burger & Fries How glorious is the Turntable bulgogi burger? It’s essentially the greatest sloppy joe that exists, with spicy sauce and thick, salty, extra-crispy fries on the side. Order this. Lava Lamp Beer Pitcher These lava lamp pitchers change colors and come with cups on the side. Plus, you can choose any beer you want to fill them with. Yes, even Schöfferhofer." - Team Infatuation

Google
Vibey Korean bar in k-town. If you're looking for a good time and amazing fried chicken - this is the spot. Above all else, you owe it to yourself to try their fried chicken. Personally we prefer flats and with the way they fry their chicken, I think you'll get the best experience with them. They have a lot of other typical Korean fare but nothing beats their chicken.

This was my second time here. The decor and atmosphere makes it one of the coolest places in the city! I love all the records and the displays. The drink menu is super interesting, and happy hour options are great. The food menu is very unique and delicious. I've tried a few different things, and haven't gone wrong. And of course it all comes together nicely with great service. Will be back for sure!

Google
Loved the atmosphere with all the records and equipment. Very cool and the music made it a cool, calm vibe. All of the food was really good. I recommend the chicken breast. Very good. The place does has fire sprinklers which is good since there is a lot of wood. Definitely a great place to eat and enjoy.

Google
Came with a group of colleagues and the food was all super delicious! Chicken was crunchy, had some corn with cheese, soju, beer tower. Tteokbokki, potato stick and calamari. The service was friendly and they did their best to accommodate 20+ people. I definitely recommend trying this place out!

Google
The moment you walk from the street into Turntable Chicken Jazz, it is like stepping into a new world! The music is perfect, the aesthetic is overwhelmingly cool and when you look around to each table (tables were full at 11pm) you can genuinely see how much people were enjoying their food, drinks and this fabulous environment. We ordered a bunch of different things to share- I really liked the fried dumplings, they really loved the combo of soy and spicy (aka “half and half”) wings. Overall, this place is top notch and we will be back!

Google
The chicken was fried and seasoned perfectly. I also really liked the beef bulgogi. I enjoyed listening to jazz while looking up at the wall full of vinyl. It sits right outside the Empire State Building.

Google
Terrible experience. ☹️😖The chicken was the driest and most tasteless I’ve ever had in my life — absolutely inedible. Only the fries were somewhat okay. I ordered just one portion of chicken, a cocktail, and fries, and the total came to $58 with tips already included. The service was awful — the waiters were extremely slow and ignored us when we tried to get their attention. I don’t recommend this place at all. You really have to try hard to mess up chicken this badly. Total waste of money. 💸

Google
This is honestly one of the best places I’ve ever eaten, and I’ve had a lot of Korean fried chicken and eaten a lot in New York, but I’m too lazy to write these reviews. The company (person) I with had a lot of experience in hospitality/food industry and therefore high standards, the quality of the food and the service was on par with what you would expect from some of the best restaurants in Midtown and NYC with locations throughout the country and even around the world, owned by rich hospitality, groups, like Landry, etc. The soy chicken was so juicy flavorful and memorable. The cheese sticks were like mozzarella sticks, but with a Korean flavor profile, not just in the presentation and how it was cooked, but also in the sauce. The decor was so nice from the entrance, which had nice hand sanitizer even some Aveeno lotion, nearby, because hands dry up so much in the winter, to the bathroom as you might see in the pictures I added to this review. I look forward to frequent visits to this place. They won me over

Yelp
You Turn Me Right Round Baby Right Round... If you're in search of a dining experience that hits all the right notes, this jazz-themed Korean eatery is a must-visit. From the moment you step in, the warm lighting and the soulful tunes of jazz transport you to a cozy yet sophisticated space. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between relaxed and upscale, making it ideal for both casual dinners and special occasions. Now, let's talk about the star of the show--the food! Their fried chicken is delicious. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned with just the right kick, it's the kind of dish you'll be thinking about long after your meal. They also offer a curated drink menu that features craft cocktails which complement the food beautifully. But what truly sets this place apart is the vibe. The playlist keeps the atmosphere lively yet laid-back. Will definitely pre-game here again!

Yelp
A cool bar for the music lover. Turntable Chicken Jazz is a bar dedicated to good music and good service. Every inch of this bar is filled with vinyl records and music memorabilia. If I could, I'd spend ours exploring their selection of antique music, but I'll gladly settle for a nice drink while listening to fantastic music and watching retro TV screens playing black and white musical performances from days past. Drinks are a standard mix of beers, wines, shots, cocktails, and liquors. Prices are what I'd call "NYC fair" and you can't do much better for what's available in the area. Our servers and bartender were quick and attentive. Whenever myself or a friend needed a refill, within seconds, someone was there to take our next order. We came in early on a Saturday night, before the dinner rush, so that might have helped, but it was still appreciated. Unfortunately, I didn't sample their food, but it's something I'll look out for in the future. If you like easy listening and a hard drink, Turntable is the ideal blend for you.

Yelp
Ambient is really good, nice for a date or small gathering. Kimchi Fried rice and fried chicken is decent

Yelp
Fun spot to hang with large groups - good for bigger parties / celebrations as a dinner before karaoke or going out in K-town. As you may guess from their name, chicken is their specialty, but even so it's only just decent and all the other food was a bit of a miss. My friend described the cheesy corn as "soapy" and the kimchi pancake as "stretchy", which we all felt were pretty accurate labels for both. For chicken, we got a combo with soy garlic and spicy, and the flavors were pretty similar. My spice tolerance is pretty low and even I felt the spicy was quite mild. Drinks however were pretty decent! We got peach bombs and lots of "soju cocktails" which were very similar to regular flavored soju. Do keep in mind that all the drinks feel very very weak, but they have a fun variety of options that are all quite tasty. We also saw others order this vessel with lots of smoke as we were leaving which looked like such a fun drink! In terms of service, they were good at keeping to our reservation and booking us a nice spot (vs. squishing people in as some people do); however, they aren't the most attentive (not enough sets / cups), slow service generally, which is fine for a larger group, but not as nice if you're expecting regular service.

Yelp
I came here for lunch after watching a movie nearby with a group of 4 people. I'm always down for KFC (Korean fried chicken), not the Kentucky kind haha. We ordered the truffle fries, the seafood pancake, and the large size Korean fried chicken (half and half, soy garlic and spicy). I liked the atmosphere, very retro and rustic. They're known for their Korean fried chicken and it seems to be the best dish to get here. It was actually spicy and soy garlic was pretty flavorful as well. The seafood pancake barely had any seafood so would pass on it. The fries were okay, not very crispy though. If you're craving KFC, it's a solid choice.

Yelp
Love this place! Very cool atmosphere and fun, casual, yummy bites. Easy to share anything from the Korean fried chicken, to the potato twister, or even the cheese corn. Super simple and delish!

Yelp
We came here on a week night and got a table pretty quickly. We ordered the combo chicken, tteokboki, corn cheese and kimichi pancake. The combo chicken was pretty good chicken. It was crispy and delicious. The tteokboki was my favorite. The flavors were really good and I like the fishcakes. However I felt like there was a lack of rice cakes in the dish. The corn cheese was super cheesy and tasty. The kimichi pancake was alright nothing special. Overall, I would come back for their chicken cause it was really good.
google avatar

Laura L.

Yelp
Love the ambiance and decor, but the food wasn't thaaat memorable. Got the hand cut fries with spicy mayo dipping sauce. Fries were surprisingly crispy and paired wonderfully with the sauce. Kimchi pancake was okay- wish it was a bit more crispy (maybe it's a personal preference thing). Friends shared the fried calamari. They said it was good, but I didn't personally try. As for the chicken, we got half soy half spicy wings and boneless breasts. Boneless breasts were a bit dry- would probably just get the wings if we ever come back. The spicy flavor was underwhelming... no kick to it. Would probably come back for the atmosphere. definitely makes for a fun time with friends ! just wouldn't come with the highest expectations for the food lol

Yelp
Food was solid and the bar is well staffed. The waiters were a bit unnattentive. We had to wait a long time before someone acknowledged us at the hostess stand after we walked in. Then they did the same thing to three groups who came after us.

Yelp
Been here twice now so wanted to send a review. Pretty okay place, the chicken wasn't the most memorable but always have a good time going. Chicken is fine but isn't anything to write home about but very consistently good. Place has a good amount of seating and service was good. Tried a few sides as well, fries, twisters, corn cheese. All pretty solid, the potato twister/tornados are cool but are pretty hard to eat. Get it for fun once and just stick to fries after the first time's charm.

Yelp
The last time I came here was pre covid. I love their Korean fried chicken and the jazzy relaxed vibe with dim lighting. I wasn't planning to come back here but I was looking for a local spot with fried calamari and this happened to come up on grubhub. They make their calamari with powdered cheese on top and spicy mayo (I asked for mine in the side) and red (marinara?) sauce. I thought the portion size was great for the price. I had the calamari along with a side of white rice as my dinner. The calamari has a nice crispy how I like. However, the food was sorely lacking in salt. Even the red dipping sauce tasted like it had no salt in it. Once I added salt, this brought the dish to life and it tasted good. I was surprise that the food was low in salt since their chicken is pretty good. I would still probably come back here but might think twice about the calamari again since it's not the main draw here.

Yelp
Amazing spot with awesome vibes! The best Korean fried chicken! Very crispy and full of flavor!

Yelp
My friend's sister threw a surprise farewell dinner on a Saturday night. The place has a cool vibe. Service was accurate. Place got loud after 7 pm. Food: I got the Corn Cheese Appetizer that was good and cheesy. I took the leftovers home for lunch. I got the half and half combo and a side order of truffle Parmesan fries. The fried chicken wings were the perfect portion. My friends ordered the fried calamari, twisted potato, and plain french fries. This is a great spot for a get-together with friends, plus almost the majority of the dishes were under $20.

Yelp
Man...can't say it blows me away. We ordered the boneless fried chicken and it was quite dry white meat. We were hungry so we ate it but was v confused. We were only 2 people but they added an auto gratuity I think of 20%...with do many other choices nearby, I am not inclined to return.
google avatar

Yelp
We had a reservation for a group of 9 people on a Wednesday night. Very small space so you might accidentally bump your chair into another person. The first bathroom with the sliding door isn't the cleanest so be wary. Also make sure you use both hooks to close the door so no one yanks it open. We ordered a few dishes to share like the truffle fries, kimchi fried rice, hush puppies, and lychee soju (loved how it came with fresh lychees and toothpicks to share) while we all waited for our chicken. The kimchi fried rice was really good, everything else was okay. The fried chicken was delicious. I loved the shell like crispy exterior of the skin, and the chicken was very flavorful and wasn't drenched in sauce. The daikon radish was disappointing though, it was really plain. The medium combo was plenty enough for my boyfriend and I to share. We ordered all soy garlic but we did try their spicy flavor and it had a good amount of heat. Overall had an okay experience, I would only return for the chicken.
google avatar

Angie Y.

Yelp
My second time dining here-- and my thoughts as a korean who has a lot of access to korean fried chicken is that this place is way overpriced for a place that makes mediocre chicken. Chicken is crispy and double fried but it's not particularly juicy chicken and the sauces both soy and spicy tend to be a bit bland. Kimchi fried rice is around $20 and cocktails will also set you back around $20 a pop. While the ambience is cool given it's mellow jazz set up -- definitely feel like this is a better spot to grab just a pint of beer rather than sit down and have a full blown dinner. Service is good -- attentive and friendly.

Toyin D.

Yelp
Yup this place was absolutely worth the hype. I and a group of friends came on a summer weekend and got several wings (soy garlic and spicy) and apps to split among us + a beer tower. The interior is very cool - lined with several vinyl covers and rustic, wooden accent. These are some solid wings - crispy, saucy, with good flavoring, and it went really nicely with the beer. Staff was super efficient and kind. I had a good time and can't wait to come back.

Alissa P.

Yelp
The ambience is great. Service is very friendly. I would say that the food is just ok, but definitely a unique place to visit and grab some chicken and a beer.
google avatar

Amy H.

Yelp
My friend and I ordered the half soy half spicy wings + bulgogi rice cakes paired w/ the soju bomb (each). Quality/taste: The wings were flavorful, not tooo breaded, and not too overpowering in the sauce. The spicy wasn't overly spicy, which I appreciated. The bulgogi rice cakes were good, but the meat could have been fresher in my opinion. Overall flavors were there. Service: Got sat right away. Once we were seated, the server came pretty often to check on us. Staff were really attentive, even servers that were not our server came to us and asked if we needed anything. Environment: Spacious and nicely decorated. I enjoyed the rustic, feel inside. A bit dark/dim though. Bathroom was easy to find also. Price: Overpriced. It came out to over $70 for the entire meal. I don't even think we got that much food. I don't think it was worth the $70+ for what we got. Overall, it was a good experience and I'm glad I got to try it. But I don't think I will be coming back anytime soon because it was underwhelming for the overpriced amount of food/drinks we got esp since portions weren't too big and the food wasn't anything unique or different from other Korean fried chicken spots around.
google avatar

Casey H.

Yelp
Four stars for service and ambiance but 2 ish stars for food as it was a meh. We ordered the kimchee pancake, the twister, the grilled corn, and finally the chicken breasts. The chicken breasts were probably the best but even they were quite dry, overcooked and short of taste. The twister was pretty tasteless though the sauces were pretty good (some type of mayo(?) based with ketchup), the corn was buttery, and the kimchee pancakes were quite tasteless unless you battered them in ketchup. Would probably order the chicken again, but none of the other dishes if we went back. Cool vibes and good location though!

Yelp
Turntable Chicken Jazz is a homely korean fried chicken place in the ktown area. The decor inside is very reflective of its restaurant name, with Jazz musician posters and pictures all around. I visited the restaurant for a large bday party of 18 people, and we were very happy the restaurant was able to accomodate such. Service was not stellar, as we had to reach out to a few of the wait staff at times to get our requested items (water refills, utensils, etc), but such is to be expected when you are in a large group. The food itself was lackluster, resulting in the low rating. The best thing we ate was the crispy calamari in my opinion, with a very nice spicy mayo accompanying the dish. The fried chicken was indeed very crispy, even with the sauce covering, but the sauce itself was really overly salty, and their boneless chicken breast tasted of just the coating to me; I could hardly recognize the chicken inside. The kimchi pancake was also nothing to write home about, definitely something I could make better myself at home. The bathrooms here consist of 3 unisex bathrooms, that is unfortunately very reminiscent of ktown clubs, but clean enough to wash your hands post-chicken wing meal. All in all, for a large party, this is a spot to consider given limited seating in all nyc restaurants, but maybe some takeout korean fried chicken from elsewhere and a cozy apartment party might be a better alternative instead.
google avatar

Monika K.

Yelp
My fav Korean fried chicken wings!!! They have three locations all close by. Wings take 30 min no negotiations. Order some appies: corn, kimchi rice. Get honey bbq and spicey (it isn't crazy spicy so live a little). Bathrooms are tiny. Decor is fun and retro.
google avatar

Clarissa L.

Yelp
We were craving some korean fried chicken and stopped by on sunday afternoon. The place was surprisingly empty and we were seated immediately. We tried the combo fried chicken, half soy half spicy. It takes about half an hour, but its worth the wait. The chicken was nice and crunchy, and well coated. The spicy had a nice kick to it, but was not overwhelmingly spicy and pairs well with a happy hour beer. The ambiance was also unique with vintage decor on the walls. Next time, we will have to come back in the evening.
google avatar

Emm P.

Yelp
Revisited this Korean bar again solo-stylee on a wet drizzly rainy Friday afternoon while chillaxing on my much deserved mental wellness day off from the daily grind called w.o.r.k. Happily surprised that their lunch specials ($12) and their daily happy hour deals on beers (Kolsch: $5) are still quite legit and affordable enough for a frugal dude like me to enjoy when roaming around in NYC ;-)

Yelp
We've been here several times. First time we dined in. The rest of the times was to-go. Every time it never disappoints. A year later we dined in and got half soy garlic half hot and spicy wings. Both are sooo good, I definitely like getting half and half so my mouth isn't on fire from eating only hot and spicy. The soy garlic is so flavorful and juicy. Both compliment each other really well. The hot and spicy is about a spice level 6/10 I think. The wings are huge and very crispy! These are our favorite wings in the city even after coming back a full year later! We also got the potato twister and wow I was shocked at how good these were. The sauce on these made it really good. The potato's are really crispy and thin I loved it. I didn't think I'd eat a whole entire one but I did. Service is great also!
google avatar

Marie T.

Yelp
Yummy in my tummy! The wings are fresh and delicious. The location is great and fun vibe. The staff was also helpful. Here's a tip if you want take out order ahead it takes a while.
google avatar

Maggie B.

Yelp
I came here for a drink on a Friday. They have high top tables near the front of the restaurant. The seats were a bit small and shallow, but the tables did have foot rests, which made them a bit more comfortable. It wasn't too loud and the music theme made for interesting decor. I had the sangria fusion. It was quite sweet. It came with a fresh, plump lychee, which was very tasty.
google avatar

Erica K.

Yelp
A bit of a disappointing experience since we thought there'd be actual live Jazz music being performed. The waitress was a bit rude, I asked if a cocktail could be made nonalcoholic and she seemed to hint that that didn't make sense, however there is actually a market for the nonalcoholic beverage space. The kimchi fried rice was mid, the fried chicken seemed typical, I'm sure there are a lot of KFC spots around the neighborhood that have less moody service and more menu variety.
google avatar

Huan C.

Yelp
Restaurant has a funky name, but the chicken was pretty good. I ordered some for delivery. The food was made promptly and it was still hot when delivered. The chicken is definitely good- worth the rating hype, but it didn't blow me away. All of my criticism were chicken related. I wish there was more radish for a large order. There could be more lunch or dinner combo deal on the menu. I wasn't incentivize to order more. I also ordered the corn cheese which was very nice. We order here for the chicken and the chicken delivers.
google avatar

Michelle T.

Yelp
I used to go to Mad for Chicken a lot, and I think this might be an offshoot of it. I met a few friends here for dinner at around 6:30pm on a Tuesday and we didn't have to wait. We had a table in the back which was super good for catching up. We ended up staying around 2.5 hours. We had some friend chicken for the table, corn cheese, ddukbokki with cheese, and kimchi fried rice. Everything was great. The ddukbokki, in particular, was fab. The sauce was so good I ended up slathering it all over my kimchi fried rice. I also love that they have cocktails here, as most places in KTown only do beer and soju. Service was fairly attentive, but the friend chicken did take a bit to come out. All in all, a solid place for Korean fried chicken, drinks, and a good time.
google avatar

Olivia S.

Yelp
Fried rice was good, same with the edamame. Kind of weird ambiance in here, not really what I expected, but good food.
google avatar

Michael C.

Yelp
Very vibey spot, with cool wall decor and an interesting vibe. The food is definitely a bit westernized though, and service was pretty mediocre (we had to flag down our waiters for everything little thing we wanted, which was pretty frustrating). We got the korean fried chicken, and it had a really good crisp. However, it was definitely lacking some seasoning, and just wasn't as salty as I wanted them to be. The seafood pancake definitely felt like they weren't using the freshest seafood, as it had a pretty strong seafood flavor which masks much of everything else. The bulgogi is a deceivingly small portion size; if I was just ordering for myself, I feel like I would need two to fill myself. Overall, would come back for the atmosphere with a group of friends, but don't expect anything special from the food!
google avatar

Irma F.

Yelp
This place is so cute and cozy vibes! Who knew Korean style wings and jazz went so well together! We started with the grilled fat edamame! Wow first time having it grilled but that's the only way I want them now. Nice flavorful spice added to them. For the main we had the potatoe twister and half soy half spicy wings. The wings were soooo crispy and juicy. The spicy wings were so good but the soy was lacking in flavor. Still definitely recommend this place.
google avatar

Katrina W.

Yelp
My friends came here for dinner and I got the Kimchi Fried Rice and a couple of the Soy Garlic and Spicy Chicken Wings. The wings really impressed me - they were done so well and the chicken inside was so juicy/tender. The fried rice was also good and well flavored. The portion was pretty large too. The interior is cute and definitely a jazzy vibe. I would come back specifically for the chicken.
google avatar

Edwin C.

Yelp
Fun jazz themed interior, chicken was cooked well but the spicy flavor was not too distinct from the non-spicy one. Decent service, but a bit slower during busier times. Beer tower was cool
google avatar

Alex T.

Yelp
I had been to Turntable Chicken Jazz for a work happy hour pre-pandemic and this was my first time back with friends. It's hard to not have a good time here. The bar/restaurant is spacious with high ceilings, the decor is vintage / music themed, and as you'd expect they only play jazz here. For drinks we ordered a Sapporo beer tower. The beer tower is the move for any large group, and they have a good variety of German US and Japanese beers. We ordered the wings and drums combo with half soy and half spicy, which ended up being a good snack to accompany the beer tower. Service was solid, and they made sure we had a chilled glass for the beer, which was a nice touch. Turntable Chicken Jazz is a fun as the name is, and I recommend it for anyone having a night out with friends in the area.
google avatar

Adhrit S.

Yelp
The restaurant is quite large with a nice, rustic-bar kind of vibe. Felt like a southern saloon. The service was pretty standard but a bit slow and it felt like the forgot about a lot of us in the back of the restaurant. But they were nice and they were probably just busy. The chicken itself was decent. Nothing crazy. The chicken was crispy and the flavors were decent.
google avatar

Jordan S.

Yelp
We went to turntable chicken jazz on a friday night at 8:30. The restaurant was pretty packed but for a party of two we got sat immediately. we ordered an app of the fried beef and pork dumplings half soy and half hot. Both flavors were really good. I got the beef bulgogi burger while my boyfriend got the medium wings (12 pc) half soy half hot. The wings were so juicy and crispy! The bulgogi burger was good too; the beef was very flavorful and cooked well. I would recommend this restaurant and go back myself!

Yelp
Bar vibe - loud and sound travels Service was as expected at a bar restaurant We ordered potato slices on a stick and wings. The wings were on the more salty side. Place is large enough for groups.

Yelp
I really love this place as a go-to KTown spot for group hangs -- although the initial move in KTown is to go to one of the traditional pochas on 32nd street, I like how Turntable is on one of the off-streets, away from the hustle and bustle a block over. Beautiful interior with rustic decor and vinyls along the walls (similar to Mono+Mono in the East Village). They are playing chill jazz music the entire time as well. The food is good here too and they have all the classic Korean pocha dishes. i think the Korean Fried Chicken is great, and you definitely have to get the fun beer tower if you're coming here with friends. Overall, great KTown option always!

Yelp
When you can't get a reso to Coqodaq any time soon (crying while losing to these bots at 10 AM every day), Turntable is a decent consolation prize. Honestly I love me some Korean fried chicken, I've said before that it's my choice last meal on earth. I need it to be double fried, extra crispy, sauced but not drenched so it ain't soggy, and the meat gotta be tender and juicy. Turntable hits all the spots, no notes. One unique thing is that they let us choose exactly how many pieces of wings we wanted for which sauce, and since I am still gradually building my spice tolerance, we asked for mostly soy garlic instead of hot n spicy. It wasn't that spicy even for me, I'd imagine it's not even comparable to a level 1 beginner wing on the Hot Ones challenge (although weakling that I am, I did take a sip of water). The kimchi fried rice with chicken was really eggcellent, love that it's topped with a fried egg with runny yolk. These wings are sizable and heavy though so maybe don't overestimate how many you need. We ordered 12 wings for 2 of us, and my appetite has dramatically increased lately but I was still only able to eat 4 before throwing in the towel. Vibes are turnt in the evenings but chill during the day. It's a staple of Ktown and sits in between the fast food style KFC and super high end champagne and caviar KFC.

Yelp
This restaurant never disappoints with great delicious libations and food. The service here is outstanding. This place is a great vibe. The Turntable LP & Karaoke on 34-36 West 32nd Street location has karaoke. You don't want to miss out on this one.If you're ever in the neighborhood...GET SOME!!!!

Yelp
We arrived at Turntable at 5:20 pm on a Saturday. There were a few tables in the main room, and nobody in the back room. They asked if we had a reservation, which we didn't (we may have tried but it wouldn't let us reserve for under 6). They sat us in the front room bar area, at a high top which they awkwardly put together with two tables. We said we weren't going to be long and asked if they could seat us at a table. They finally acquiesced after the third time we asked. They sat us in the farthest back corner of the back room, which was empty. It smelled like sewage. When we left at 6:35, the table in the main room was still empty. On the way out, I told them I would never dine there again (and I am a local). Highly disappointing experience and not the way to run a business. There are a million places to eat in K town. No need to eat at one that treats customers like this!

Yelp
Just left from having lunch here. Everything was so yummy. It's easy to miss this place, but so glad we decided to give it a try. Service was quick which is good because I needed to get back to work within the hour. The place is cool and casual. Love the decor.

Yelp
Spicy rice cake is pretty good. I love that they added cabbages and mushrooms and other veggies. The rice cake itself is super good, cuz I usually don't like eating rice cake. The sauce is the right spicy level and a bit too sweet to me. Personally I love just having spicy rice cake sauce like a soup and drink them all, but not this one since it's sweet. But if ure a normal person who wouldn't drink spicy rice cake sauce, this is decent then (this applies if u can handle usual spicy rice cake's spicy level) Wings just wings lol, not super great, not super bad either. I just had better ones. My friend said it's spicy for her so it's just right. We got half and half wings. Sauce doesn't sink into the meat to me, so lowkey just taste like a crispy flavor crust outside and tender no flavor chicken inside Service is good I guess. They leave u alone. I personally like that. Not sure if it's bc I was sitting by the window, I have to shove the receipt for them to finally notice me and pay lol

Yelp
This is your typical Korean fried chicken place. The kimchi fried rice and half and half chicken were good but nothing special about it. We had to wait 20-30 minutes after the store was opened for the kitchen to finish setting up. We ordered a large combo and it came with the tiniest side of radish. The craziest part is that they charge $4 extra for radish when most places offer that complimentary! The portion was already skimping in the first place compared to our order size. The waitress also seemed like she didn't wanna be there and the day just started. I wouldn't come here again.
