Turntable Chicken Jazz - Review - Koreatown - New York - The Infatuation

"Turntable Chicken Jazz used to be located on the second floor of a regular-looking office building on 5th Avenue. Now, it’s around the corner in a street-level location—and it’s still a great place to eat fried chicken and drink beer from neon vats as you look at vinyl records all over the walls. The best dishes at Turntable are the boneless and bone-in wings. Served either spicy or sweet and sour, these are the reason you’re coming here. But if you need to supplement your order, the rest of the menu is also worthwhile. Try the awesome bulgogi burger or a sword made of thinly sliced fried potatoes on a stick. Turntable is one of the most fun restaurants in Koreatown. It’s great for big groups, and it’s a solid spot for dining around Madison Square Garden and Penn Station. Just because you don’t get to walk through what feels like a secret passage anymore, it doesn’t mean this place is any less cool. Food Rundown Hot & Spicy/Soy Garlic Wing Combo The big-ticket item. Turntable offers plump, juicy chicken that comes in plus-sized wing and drum form. You can mix and match flavors to your heart’s content, which we appreciate. Hot & Spicy Wings Another batch, because we can’t get enough chicken wings. Order these. Soy Garlic Boneless Wings There are boneless wings too. These are for all those people out there who like to pretend they ate the bones. Twisters Fried potato skins on a stick, covered in spicy sauce. Yes, you want a couple of these. Bulgogi Burger & Fries How glorious is the Turntable bulgogi burger? It’s essentially the greatest sloppy joe that exists, with spicy sauce and thick, salty, extra-crispy fries on the side. Order this. Lava Lamp Beer Pitcher These lava lamp pitchers change colors and come with cups on the side. Plus, you can choose any beer you want to fill them with. Yes, even Schöfferhofer." - Team Infatuation
