Seattle Brand Tutta Bella Will Soon Be Selling Pizzas Nationwide | Eater Seattle

"The Neapolitan chain began with a pizzeria in Columbia City in 2004 and expanded quickly, racking up awards (including a big one in 2011 from the trade mag Pizza Today) and even serving Barack Obama when he visited Seattle as president. There are still seven locations throughout the metro area, but the company has increasingly moved into food production: it supplies frozen pizzas and other products to regional Costco stores as well as some QFCs and Fred Meyers (both under the Kroger umbrella). In 2023 it opened a 15,000-square-foot production facility in SoDo with the intention of expanding its retail footprint, and the Puget Sound Business Journal reports that the facility will soon be cranking out enough pizzas to stock 1,200 Kroger grocery stores in 40 states. CEO and founder Joe Fugere told the Journal that right now his business is split evenly between restaurants and retail sales, but "by 2028, he expects that ratio will be around 80% food manufacturing and 20% restaurant." The plan is to mechanize some of the pizza-making process, but Fugere says he’s committed to keeping the dough hand-stretched, which "gives it the artisan look and feel." - Harry Cheadle

The Best Restaurants & Bars In Columbia City

"You have two pizza choices in the neighborhood: go to Pagliacci and be sad, or go to Tutta Bella and not be sad. Tutta Bella is a mini-chain of Neapolitan restaurants certified by an official pizza committee in Naples to make blistery pies in a huge fiery oven. Their Columbia City location is the original, and it’s one of the best sit-down spots for a meal in the neighborhood. It works well for a reliable group dinner involving margheritas and big arugula salads with oranges and olives." - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley

The Best Salads In Seattle - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Your Order: Salerno Salad Nobody’s arguing that caesars aren’t great salads to have with Italian food, but there’s life beyond cheesy, anchovy-topped lettuce. A perfect example is Tutta Bella’s salerno—a refreshing bowl of romaine with shaved fennel, cucumber, cherry tomato, globs of fresh mozzarella, and a basil-flecked dijon dressing that tastes like mustard summer. Plus, it’s an excuse to eat more cheese as a prelude to pizza." - Aimee Rizzo

Tutta Bella Neapolitan Pizzeria Review - Columbia City - Seattle - The Infatuation

"There are only two pizza restaurants in Columbia City. One of them is Pagliacci, which you should only order from if you’re hosting a middle school soccer team at your home. The other is Tutta Bella, a Seattle mini-chain that serves delicious Neapolitan pies and is one of the best sit-down spots for a meal in Columbia City. You’ll want to keep things simple when you’re at Tutta Bella. Fill your table with a couple of pies, like the margherita, which proves that all you need to make charred dough delicious is buffalo mozzarella, san marzano tomatoes, and a few leaves of fresh basil, or a white pie with prosciutto and arugula. We’ve also found that asking them to leave the pizzas in the oven for an extra minute or two makes every pie here way better since there’s a little more crunch to the crust. Don’t tell anyone from Naples. The rest of the menu is filled with mostly small plates, salads, and pastas, but stick with the salads if you’re looking for something other than pizza. The Salerno, with romaine, cucumber, fennel, fresh mozzarella, basil, tomato, and a dijon vinaigrette, is our favorite plate of greens here. And you’ll want to avoid the more complicated pizzas, like The Roberto, a sausage pie topped with two different cheeses and a pistachio puree that is unfortunately too reminiscent of peanut butter. If you’re anywhere else in town, you should go to one of the places on this list. But Tutta Bella’s your best pizza option if you’re in Columbia City. And even if you have a minivan full of ravenous teenage athletes, we’ll bet a few Neapolitan pies would make them happy, too. Food Rundown Minestrone Dunking the grilled bread that comes with this bland minestrone is the best part. But you’re not here for something that Progresso can pull off. Skip this soup. Salerno Salad Tutta Bella has a bunch of crowd-pleasing salads to have with your pizza. The Salerno, with romaine, cucumber, fennel, fresh mozzarella, basil, tomato, and a dijon vinaigrette, is crunchy, tart, and our favorite plate of greens here. Margherita DOC This is the best pizza here, with or without soppressata added. Ask them to cook your pie for an extra minute and the crust will stand up to the wet toppings much better. Roberto On paper, this pie sounds terrific—sausage, smoked buffalo mozzarella, basil, and pistachio. The problem is that the nuts are in the form of puree dollops, which taste way too similar to peanut butter and clash with all of the other ingredients." - Aimee Rizzo

My experience here is limited to desserts and cocktails, for the most part. Finding a local spot is wanting for dessert, or they had run out. This place is tops. The bar staff are all friendly and knowledgeable, obvious skilled hands hired here. Desserts, I am a sucker for decent Tira Misu. And my experience here is: they totally rock this Lady Finger delight. For some reason, my wife w/ the menu sez, "Leave the gun." So, we get this ridiculous Pistachio chocolate chip cannoli served with spoons in a bowl. A few crumbs might make it over the edge, but this ends up being a good call. You have to just bash the tube, and compose your spoonful. Well done. They have a new menu w/ a Tutta Bella Old Fashioned, Chocolate and Orange bitters, a bit of Maple Syrup. A truly nice and accomplished variation on an old theme. Parking is on the street, a block or two off spaces can be free. There is an upstairs area I remember seeing our Chief of Police Best at least a few times in years past, my memory of those days were, the portions were generous. If you were silly enough to eat it all, no room for even the lightest of the Italian desserts (the Italians are exceptionally good at these). If you want espresso, another reason I have stopped in before shows at the Royal Room as I was walking by... they have the real deal, and supplied by an excellent roaster.

Amazing, authentic place! True taste of Italy in the Seattle area. Everything was fresh! They make their own sauce and locally sources ingredients. Great and fast service. I believe this place is the first in the Pacific Northwest to be certified by VPN (Naples Pizza committee). Bruschetta, Garlic knots were amazing! Peach Burrata salad is a must try! For dessert we got Tiramisu, canollis and a chocolate almond torta (brownie). Everything was amazing. Highly recommended.

Google
Exceptional service, great food, details in the preparation! Jackson at the bar is attentive and knowledgeable. Watching the interaction between the staff, everyone seems to be on the same page and they made sure the experience was great. My wife loves beet salad, and she was ecstatic to see it offered on the menu. The beets were tender and the goat cheese was supple and, along with pickled red onion, complimented the beets nicely. The garlic knots were toasty- a nice crunch exterior and steamy soft on the inside with the perfect amount of garlic and Parmesan, just they way you want them to be. We saw several pizzas pass by before deciding on the "Roberto". The pistachio made this pie unique and interesting while the sausage made it familiar. The delicate panna cotta with blood oranges was mouth watering. The tiramisu was rich with lady fingers fully soaked without being soggy wet and was topped with a generous layer of Marscapone. This elegant dessert could've fed two people easily. Located on a street where you get the feeling that everyone knows each other by name, this Columbia City Italian restaurant is definitely worth visiting.

If I could give Tutta Bella on Rainier Avenue more than five stars, I would. This isn’t just the best pizza I’ve had in Seattle—it’s the best pizza I’ve had in my life. From the moment you walk in, the warm, inviting atmosphere sets the stage for something special. The service is impeccable—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. But let’s talk about the real star of the show: the pizza. Tutta Bella stays true to the art of Neapolitan pizza-making, and you can taste it in every bite. The crust is absolute perfection—thin, slightly chewy, and blistered just right from their wood-fired oven. It has that signature airy lightness, yet it’s packed with flavor. The ingredients? Simply outstanding. The tomato sauce bursts with freshness, the mozzarella melts beautifully, and the toppings are thoughtfully sourced and balanced to perfection. I ordered the Bianca, and it was pure heaven. The combination of creamy cheeses, fragrant garlic, and that perfect char on the crust made every bite unforgettable. It was rich, yet perfectly balanced—not too heavy, just indulgent enough. My partner went for the classic pepperoni, and it was everything you want in a perfect slice: bold, smoky, slightly crispy pepperoni, gooey cheese, and that signature Neapolitan crust that ties it all together. This isn’t just pizza; it’s an experience. Tutta Bella on Rainier Ave has completely ruined me for all other pizza, and I couldn’t be happier about it. If you’re in Seattle and you love pizza, do yourself a favor and get here as soon as possible. You won’t regret it.

I went on a date with my husband and we had a good time, the food was so delicious! The pizza and the salad was delicious! We asked for one more pizza!

This was my first time visiting a Tutta Bella branch, and as a fan of Neapolitan-style pizza, I can be a bit picky. We ordered the Campania and Roberto pizzas. The Roberto stood out—different yet delicious and definitely the highlight of the meal. The staff were friendly, helpful, and quick, and the food was fresh. Overall, a great experience, and I’d probably come back again!

Google
Used to really enjoy Tutta Bella, this was first visit in a few years. Visited early on a weeknight. No lasagna and no vegetables. Italian soda had basically no cream in it. My wife’s pizza smelled like something floral had been spritzed on it, didn’t taste good. Dinner for 5 adults and one child was almost $300. Only had two alcohol drinks, so it was almost all food. Server (young man), was very nice and attentive. Too expensive to chalk it up to a bad night and try again. Too many other excellent restaurants to choose from, and less expensive as well.

We were trying to go to another restaurant down the street after getting into town, but it was closing. We just happened to see this location & decided to give it a try. We're so glad that we did. The food was excellent & it came out really fast. We really liked that it was made to order & you got to watch them your food. The meatballs were just ok. I would suggest that you get the marinara sauce to add or dip your pizza in, because it sets it off. Be prepared to spend a little money, but it's worth it. DON'T ORDER THE LEMONADE. Give this place a try & you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Solid pizza spot! I ate with a large group and we had a good experience. We were upstairs which was good vibes. I had the margherita pizza and that was well done. Recommend !

Yelp
Local neighborhood gem, bright ambiance, would highly recommend; garlic knots, artichoke dip, lemon shrimp gnocchi, cappuccino, Hubz loved the lasagna.

Yelp
I go to Tutta Bella pretty frequently, this location, Bellevue and Issaquah. Always a great experience- food is tasty no matter what you get, though the pizza is never hot, always just warm. Either way, service is friendly and pretty attentive. It's loud in every single location but I mean, it's the whole vibe of the place. Interior is clean, happy hour options are nice but portions aren't big. Everything I get is always good, also, pro tip, add caramelized onions to everything.

Yelp
I came to Tutta Bella after a nearby meeting and had a great lunch! I've been to a few of their locations and this one is a favorite - love their bar area, too. They make a really good espresso martini if you're in the need of a pick-me-up. I got the Rigatoni with Roasted Garlic Cream and loved it. I expected it to be essentially an alfredo, but the flavor was completely different and super good. Really heavy on the garlic though, so bring mints! I added chicken to mine and it was cooked perfectly. I also went with an aperol spritz which you can never go wrong with. After I ordered I saw that they have a lavender Pride Month beverage which I definitely would've ordered as lavender is a favorite flavor of mine - and $1 of every Lavender Pride is donated to Seattle Pride during the month of June! Service was also great and our food was ready quickly. All in all a solid spot for lunch or dinner in Columbia City.

Yelp
On our list to come here after eating the Tutta Bella pizza that is sold at Costco in the refrigerator food section. We had the prosciutto and arugula pizza with Salerno salad. Both were as fresh and delicious as the Costco bought pizza. Staff was friendly and location perfect with outside seating that accommodated us with our puppy. 5+ stars for sure!

Yelp
Seems like a great spot, and was actually the exact right call for what we were craving on a weeknight. Had good energy, was not too full but enough to make us really excited that we had picked the right spot. The Insalata di Mare was really excellent, and the highlight of the food we had, was a nice mix of Italian and our wealth of seafood here in the PNW. That being said, service was just tough. Everyone was very kind and sweet, but upon seating, upon taking our drink order, and taking our 1st food order, we said we were really hungry, looking to have a full Italian Anti / Primi / Secondi style pacing and stay, even though their menu isn't really set up that way per se. After our 1st drink order and First food order, we just never were able to get checked in on again. We had to go to the bar to place a 2nd drink order, and the pacing and timing just got so bad that we just had to end up leaving hungry after are initial food order. Like I might understand if it was slammed ( it was not) or if we hadn't been explicit about our intentions, but we were - so just so much $$$ left on the table with this miss. We left hungry and went elsewhere to finish our meal and evening as much as we would have preferred to stay. Seattle is an increasingly expensive city I get it, but just can't be falling this short for this amount of $$$ when we want to give you more $$$.

Megan E.

Yelp
ass service, the people who work there make you feel like they're friends with someone who hates you and it's almost like they're trying to give terrible service, the food was burnt even though it was recommended to me and the bartender was ignoring me to flirt with women and cater to the table getting alcohol; will not be coming back to this location

Yelp
So great to have Tutta Bella in the neighborhood. The pizza crust is always soft and flavorful. We've frequented this spot several times, so here are our recommendations: - For pizzas, you can't go wrong with the Tutta Bella, Leonardo, or Mushroom and Cream. - If you're in the mood for pasta, the rigatoni bolognese is good. - Tiramisu is divine, and the rotating flavors of gelato is also excellent. Pair the dessert with coffee and it makes an amazing combo. Service is friendly and attentive once you are seated, albeit a little slow and sometimes awkward, as they don't always have someone to greet you at the host stand. That means you may have to wait around a bit, even for pickup orders.

Yelp
The food was very yummy. We ordered the garlic knots, meatballs, and artichoke dip for appetizers to share amongst the group. My favorite were the meatballs and the artichoke dip, however I don't think the amount of meatballs you get is worth the $13.50 charge. We also ordered a couple of pizzas to share. I really appreciated how you are able to order a smaller pizza or a slightly larger one if you're feeling hungry or want leftovers.

Yelp
Came by about 25 minutes before closing, which isn't the most convenient for them I'm sure but being turned away with more than enough time for us to get an order in was just disappointing. This was our first visit and it left a bad taste in our mouth. Should adjust your hours back or state that you don't serve people within 30 minutes of closing.

Yelp
I live in Olympia, so I would have never found a place like Tutta Bella unless I had come for a Yelp Elite Event. At the event we got to try their bruschetta, the caesar salad, the beet salad, and the kale salad. It was so good that Sis and I slipped away near the end of the event to order some food downstairs. I tried the Bianca pizza, which is a garlicky goo monster. Sis had the Mushroom and Cream one with some greens and prosciutto. Yum. But the best was yet to come Warm Caramel Cake, which is basically a sticky toffee in cream. We were afraid this would be sharp and sweet, but this dish was so subtle, creamy, and perfect. I could've eaten three of these on my own. I just got off a cruise ship and for 14 days I've been eating fine food, but this dessert was the best thing I've had in a long time. I'll be coming back for this. The restaurant is a cute looking bistro pizzeria type place. Small tables but space for a lot of small parties, intimate lighting, and a pubby atmosphere which is a nice way to end the day. Our server, Megan, was so sweet and was so happy we left the party upstairs so she could try out the rest of the goods. We had a nice chat and if the rest of the staff is like her, we'll come back for the great service and good company. Thanks Yelp for introducing us to this place!

Yelp
Treated my nephew from Billings to certified Neapolitan pies. The seasonal Enzo was FAB with lamb sausage and a hint of fennel. The Insalata de Mare was bright and fresh with ceviche and cilantro. Topped off with an Affogato and the pearl cookie Fragola. Lucia was a great server.

Ava S.

Yelp
The food is consistent and pretty tasty. I particularly love the roasted beets, salads, and garlic knots. They have decent happy hour options (both food and drinks) M-F both during traditional happy hour and a late night happy hour before closing that starts around 9PM. I like supporting a local Seattle business. The service is not ideal. There is rarely someone at the host stand to greet you. Multiple people come by to ask how many in a party and ask to wait a couple mins, a second later another staff member will ask the same thing, no clear communication between staff. And my latest experience with service was awful. I was completely ignored by all staff in the restaurant and the staff person at the front served someone who came in after me, before me. I was waiting for at least 10 mins. I explained the issue when I finally got to speak with him. And another staff member came over. She rolled her eyes as I explained my disappointment and the issue. She made a point to state that she herself had only walked by me once without acknowledging me. As if this is supposed to be better? I explained that the issue was no one in the restaurant acknowledged or communicated to me that it would be a couple mins. I'm happy to wait my turn, but don't appreciate being treated as if invisible. The person later mentioned she was the on duty manager, Lucia. I reiterated I was disappointed and said I hoped they'd do better next time. I think some staff training about customer service and kindness would be helpful.

Yelp
Meh... I'm in the neighborhood and have found the food to be really inconsistent and overpriced for the portion size. I ordered the Mista Salad with chicken. It's been great in the past and tonight it was at least 25% smaller and the chicken was not freshly cooked. I do like the roasted cauliflower. $50 for a small salad and cauliflower. I was also sat by the door and was freezing!

Yelp
Stopped in the other night to just grab some dessert to bring back home for my girlfriend and I, Kaleb greeted me with a warm welcome and had some great recommendations! I'll be back!

Yelp
This is my all time pizza place. Not sure if they had a new chef or not but their pizza and pasta were made better and taste better than before. We come here very often for dinner. The servers are always pleasant and attentive.

Yelp
Every so often, my friend from Bellevue and I meet up at Tutta Bella for lunch and catchup conversation (which delightfully takes several hours :)). They always have a place for us and provide prompt, bright service. We start with a great Cappuccino (with a great bite of chocolate on the side) and end up with a full salad and an Italian entre which we split and share. Always delicious! Never the same thing twice as they have so many dishes to offer (my last was the lasagna :D). Whether sun or rain, our outing is memorable in a lovely setting. Looking forward to our next get-together with pleasure!

Yelp
Cozy casual interior, delicious wood-fired Neapolitan style pizza. Yelp
Delightful holiday menu from the mushroom ricotta appetizer to the butternut squash pasta and beautiful rich inky wine. A must try if you've never been to the Rainier location. Service was excellent!

Yelp
Came in for family lunch after my student's middle school was closed after a school shooting threat. Really happy to open this review that way. F you and your guns, conservatives. Anyway, we had a lovely time. We were seated in the world's most awkward table for 4--literally against a window so we were all trapped because the seats don't tuck in far enough to actually walk around. Absolute nightmare. There was a perfectly fine table along Hudson Street, but I think the seating order/chart prevailed that day. We made it work; even stepping on seats to get out and accidently bashing chairs into the big glass window we sat against. Seating aside, I love Tutta Bella. The pizza comes out so fast, and we got our apps and drinks first. Staff is so friendly (thanks, Taylor!) and they all seem to help each other out. We tried the burrata and prosciutto and dip trio as appetizers this time. The burrata isn't like I've had before --it's not runny and terrible, so I was able to actually try it and enjoy it. The honey and flaky salt on top are the best touch. The red dip has goat cheese, so please be very aware of that. Our server also made sure we had extra veggies because we have a GF diner, which was so sweet. The rest of the food was delicious, but I've reviewed it before. This is a great family spot and we had the nicest time.

Yelp
The customer service was very smooth. We were able to customize the pizza as half chicken and half just veggie. The dessert was delicious. There is parking across the street and around the corner. Reasons for Rating: +1 Excellent location and parking +1 Food taste really good +1 Customer service +1 Interior/atmosphere +1 Would return/recommend others

Yelp
Garlic rolls, blanco pizza, gnocchi, lasagna and gelato. ALL was so delicious!!! And the wine selection was amazing!!!

Yelp
I absolutely love Tutta Bella. They have authentic pizza with the softest crust. This is my second time at the Columbia City location and it's still amazing like my first visit. Love the rustic feel to the interior.. casual but homey. Very italian and simple. It's a spacious restaurant with plenty of tables. I ordered a small size of the Palermo salad and my toddler had a kids cheese pizza. My salad was so refreshing and tasty. I was actually really impressed with their kids menu for only $10! Her meal came with a drink and even dessert. What a deal! Our server was very sweet and friendly. She was easy to talk to and we had a pleasant time. Can't wait to return!
google avatar

Jay S.

Yelp
I selected this place because it has good reviews and in the reviews they mentioned that Tutta has good pizza. I was not impress. I did ask for lite cheese but still expected the bread and sauce to be better. The dough was chewy and not crispy for thin crust. They could have added tomato and basil. They could add more carrot sticks and cucumbers for that price.
google avatar

Aimee H.

Yelp
The spring menu for Tutta Bella has a few real stand-outs. I enjoyed the Enzo's pizza with lamb sausage, artichoke hearts, and this incredible spicy-rich drizzle of sauce over the top. The panna cotta is creamy and barely sweet, the perfect accompaniment to the fresh berries.

Yelp
Give my boy Trey the bartender a raise and Melanie. This guy is amazing and super sweet. Very genuine and kind. Cheers

Yelp
Beautiful building in an accessible location. Went during lunch hour and they had two indoor seating areas and an outdoor patio facing the street in the front. Servers were friendly, positive and quick. My group ordered the pesto pasta, personal pizzas and lasagna. Nice sized portions and light seasoning - you get control on how seasoned you like.
google avatar

L J.

Yelp
It's just ok. The pizza tasted burnt but somehow was soft and doughy. Asked for light sauce, got full sauce. Maybe stay away from the pizza. The pasta was decent, not great, decent. The place is mid.

Yelp
When I was living this area. I used to go there on weekends with my son. Great Food, live authentic Italian pizza. My son's favorite wonderful pear sorbet. It's one of seasonal flavor each seasons. Great service. I like interior of store. Every time we talk about pizza, he misses this place.

Susan C.

Yelp
Aja was awesome! We loved all of her recommendations. The meal was fabulous. I thought they only had pizza, but they had so many appetizer and pasta options. The tiramisu was awesome. We will definitely be back and make this a regular dinner option.

Yelp
Aja was absolutely awesome! Super knowledgeable and very kind. Literally the best you could ask for in a server! Plus the food and her recommendations were a delight! Thanks Tutta and Aja!

Yelp
I've been wanting to go here for awhile now and I'm so glad I did! My friends and I popped in for lunch together on a whim. The atmosphere was pretty casual, which surprised me because I thought it'd be fancier (it's not regular American pizza yknow!) but was pleasant all the same. My friends and I loved the t-shirts the staff wore which had different puns on them. There was a huge oven in the back and there was glass separating the kitchen from the dining room so you could see what's going on. Service was quick and attentive as well. We ordered all 3 white pizzas: sausage and cream, meatball and ricotta, and prosciutto and arugula. Each of us enjoyed and ate the entire 10 inch pizza in one sitting. The crust was so chewy and soft and you could easily fold the pizza slice up. Definitely one of the better pizza doughs I've had. Toppings were ample and fresh as well which I appreciated. Only complaint is that there was very little sauce. I'm not sure how authentic that is, but I think I would've liked just a bit more white sauce, otherwise it just felt like toppings on dough. In any case, I look forward to coming back here.

Yelp
Moved to the area recently and have always heard great things about Tutta Bella. I finally decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did! I'm very picky when it comes to pizza. The crust and the sauce is the star of the show for me and their pizza checked off all those boxes. Lightly crisp on the outside and soft pillowy dough on the inside Delicious! And love that you can add on toppings or remove toppings and slightly personalize them. The tiramisu is amazing too!

Yelp
Unfortunately we came here about 2 weeks ago. My wife ordered a 10" Mushroom and Prosciutto pizza and I ordered a 10" Tutta Bella pizza. The service at this restaurant was absolutely terrible. There was literally no one in the place and we arrived at about 4 pm. No one greeted us or sat us down and we had to have been standing there waiting like 6-7 minutes. Employees would see us, not greet us at all and just walk right by like a bunch of zombies. When we were finally seated, the waiter took our order and never checked on us, asked if we wanted refills etc, until I waved him down so we can pay our bill and never come back. As far as food is concerned, the pizza and ingredients used were very mediocre and bland. They tout traditional Neapolitan style pizza but the dough was not soft and crunchy. It was just soft, so I assume the dough was underdone and not fermented enough. And for each of us getting the smaller 10" pizza and paying over $40, with service that was that terrible, there was nothing redeeming about our experience here so we won't be coming back.

Yelp
I'm always cautious about chain restaurants. Tutta Bella is a local gem that I've enjoyed for years. An innovative menu, good food, and great service. Never hovering but always there. This time I took out the Burrata with veggies, dips (hummus, tapenade, and roasted red pepper). Always delicious and has many vegetarian options. Bread is generous, and it came with raw veggies. Burrata was soft, herb crusted, and just right. Always my favorite and enough for two meals. Parking is available, but you'll need to drive around a bit. Make it part of your rotation! #ShopLocal #ShopSmall

Yelp
This is the best place for a date night! The restaurant is romantic and the food is BEYOND fantastic. We had the rigatoni bolognese and rigatoni w/ roasted garlic cream sauce and both dishes were so delicious I didn't remember to take a picture before devouring. The cocktails were also great, and our server Linus made our visit amazing. He had excellent pairing suggestions that made the dishes even more incredible. 11/10 recommend coming here for a romantic night with delicious food and drinks!

Yelp
Really love the restaurant vibe inside. It's very inviting and relaxing. As for the food, I really love the roasted beet. Everything about that dish was amazing! So many flavors and texture. It's my favorite so far. Caesar salad was really great too. Their in-house dressing is very creamy and I can tell they use plenty of garlic in it, which I love. Even with just the dressing and romaine lettuce was good enough without any add on. Gnocchi was a disappointment tho. We were so excited to see pesto gnocchi but there was practically no flavor or what so ever in them and in my opinion, the portion for gnocchi is a bit small too. Overall it was a great experience and servers were pretty friendly too.

Yelp
Ordered to-go for the first time. Called in and asked for the Spaghetti Bolognese, they didn't even tell me the total, and forgot to ask what pizza size I wanted. To my surprise, I was charged $23 for a full portion versus $15 half portion but there was no distinction online. Called back to notify them about the price discrepancy through Yelp and they just mentioned the half portion is new. Seems to be a disconnect between orders over the phone and online menu. Food was MID at best.

Yelp
Came through during happy hour to hang with a friend for a few and ordered some wine and pizza off that happy hour menu which definitely helped the cost of the bill overall. Considering what I paid for my meal and drinks, it was totally worth it even though I would of paid full price for it too. Service was great as well as the waitress that took care of us had a dope personality and was real down to earth as well. We enjoyed a few laughs with her along the way which always helps keep the vibe positive and uplifting so make sure to tip your servers when they show up with a smile and good vibes. The pizza was good too and I'll also admit as an avid NYC pizza lover I have had better but it was far from bad, tasted great overall, and then I'll emphasize the service and add the ambience as well was pretty good. I'd definitely recommend this spot to anyone in the area looking for some pizza and chill vibe.

Yelp
This is an excellent restaurant. The food is great. The service is good except when they get short of servers and sometimes the quality from The kitchen varies. However when it's good it's very good. We got a Napoli salad the other day which is our favorite and the dressing was not as usual. It almost seemed as if the salad had not been dressed. That's not good. However generally this restaurant is great and I have patronized it for years !

Yelp
ordered & it was just very unsatisfying. Very salty, really thick, & had a big chunks of artichokes in it. Not worth it at ALL. Also bought a pizza & it was undercooked (soggy). Overhyped for nothing. Do better!!

Yelp
Solid Italian restaurant in Columbia City. You'll like this place more if you're into pizzas and vegan options as that makes up most of their menu. They do have pasta and meat options, but the selection is pretty scarce. I was only interested by 1 pasta option and none of the pizzas, but I liked what I ordered enough to have a good meal. I had the bruschetta, neopolitan meatballs, and the gnocchi with braised beef. If you asked me to choose anything else on the menu I'd have a hard time doing so. The food I did order was great though. The bruschetta and meatballs was an absolutely perfect combo. The potato gnocchi was very tasty, although a bit saltier than it should have been. The service here was fast and attentive. Came a few minutes past happy hour but they still gave us happy hour prices. It was a pretty busy place on a friday evening though so plan accordingly. Overall, if you're in the area and want Italian food, this is a good choice. But if you're like me and want pasta but not pizza, look elsewhere. Definitely wish there were more pasta options.

Yelp
Made reservations through google. Once seated took awhile before any server came to our table. We ordered bruschetta for starter. The presentation of it was beautiful, sadly it was lacking in flavor. Needed way more garlic and salt & pepper. It was pretty much chopped tomatoes on toast. The bread was really good I will say that. We asked for a side of balsamic to give it flavor. That did help. Dinner was lasagne for a 5:45 reservation they said I got the last one. Seems odd at prime dinner time. However it was really good and a generous portion. Also ordered 2 pizzas, the Bianca and The Meatball & ricotta add pepperoni. Both were really good. Disappointed that our server never checked on us not once. Seemed MIA for the most part. Then when I paid with a $100 gift card took forever to process that transaction and never got a receipt. She brought the gift cards back and said "you still have a little left" well a receipt with gift card transaction and balance would have been helpful. She was just overall inattentive to us. I asked another server on the way out the door if I could get my receipt he was able to print me out a receipt but it was just a receipt of what we ordered. I'll prob try different location next time. All the food we ordered was good expect bruschetta was lacking flavor. Thumbs up on the cleanliness.

Yelp
A friend and I sat at the bar and Laeya took amazing care of us ! She was very friendly and attentive and definitely deserves the recognition especially since she held the bar down solo during a lunch rush. Pizza and sangria were also yum and will definitely return.

Yelp
The dressing used on my salad tasted predominantly of oil. When I've ordered this salad on previous visits, it seemed a good balance of oil and vinaigre. The server had the kitchen re-do my order. The flavor was still flat. I mentioned that I believed the dressing from years ago was more robust. To remedy, I ordered the dressing for a different salad on their menu. It made my salad edible.I was content. The night manager, Jordan(?) came to us and began defending the Napoli dressing "it is spot on the same recipe as it has been for 20 years, perhaps your tastebuds have changed, you know that happens every 7 years! Or perhaps you're not well and can't taste things properly". What the he**? Way out line! I've been a customer of this restaurant since it had only the Columbia City location when JF was working the front of the house and the bar! Then they offered to comp my salad. Didnt want that. I'm not looking for free food. Then they offered a complimentary dessert ticket. Didn't want it, Doesn't cover the rudeness! Don't just throw a dessert at customers when you've been rude and insulting.

Yelp
I would not recommend. I arrived with a reservation and waited with no acknowledgement from anyone, servers avoiding eye contact. I went to the bar to verify that I needed to wait to be seated since there appeared to be 5-6 open tables. He replied yes, no smile, graciousness, any acknowledgment someone would be right with me. I stopped someone for the second time, rude again as if I was a bother, not once did someone say we'd be with you at some point. I finally just cancelled my reservation on open table and left. Much better places to eat in Columbia City.

Yelp
I grew up in this area and have always passed by this place as a kid - so happy I was able to try it! The staff were very friendly and provided quick service. They were even able to provide me with some good recommendations as it was my first time there. I ordered the bruschetta and their seasonal Pancetta E Pomodoro pizza. Both were very tasty! I also got their Rosato wine, which was very good! Overall, I would come here again. If I wasn't so full, I would have tried their gelato but I'll definitely come back!
