Some really amazing pizza and pasta. The gnocchi and aranchini were awesome. The carbonara, however, was a curdled oil slick.. twice. I asked if it was supposed to look like that so they remade it. It came back very hot and if you know about carbonara it is the heat that breaks it so within 2 minutes it went from almost creamy looking to chunky white bits in thick grease. Very unappetizing. Tastes okay but the texture is horrible. Lesson learned. As for the service, it is almost non existent. It is pretty weird to order $20 dishes at the counter and have no wait staff except runners and no one check on you unless you go find them. Feels like subway or chipotle. I would definitely come back for the pizza. Hate to leave such a bad review when we did have so much other good food but between the carbonara and the service -2 stars at least.

I was wanting Italian food and we stumbled onto Tutti Da Gio.This place deserves 10+stars! Let me start with my husband's spaghetti & meatballs. He said it was heavenly. The sauce-the flavors was nice and smooth and the meatballs were wonderful. I had the pasta with salmon in a cream sauce. I was not expecting it to be that delicious. The cream sauce & the salmon flavors marry well and doesn't overpower each other. The bread was really good too! We ate outside & it was very nice and lit and covered.Their pizza is cooked in a brick oven. My husband took a bite of the pepperoni pizza and said "oh my goodness this is fantastic & I love this crust! I tried the pizza and I've never tried brick fire pizza but after trying this,I will never go back to chain pizza places. The bottom crust was perfectly tender & no burnt spots. (This is local restarant with another location in Hendersonville.) We got the pizza & dessert to go for tomorrow. We even got to meet the owner & her husband. They were so sweet and she explained alot of ways the Italians cook vs how we cook basic Italian food. We will definitely be back.

New to the area. I have been looking for a good Italian place, and haven’t found one yet. This place is very definition of social media hype. I fell for it, couldn’t wait to try it. First, you walk in the door and wait on line to order at the counter, where they give you a number to place on table. Nothing as pictured in social media posts. I ordered a salad, the meatballs, & pasta ragu (meat sauce) dish. All had great presentation. Thats where it ended. Salad was a pile of lettuce with a few pieces of cucumber, tomato, and olives on top. The meatballs were horrible. Completely over processed and mixed. Was like a meat paste made with an ice cream scooper to maintain form and size. Grocery store meatballs have been better. The pasta was homemade and not too bad. The Ragu on the other hand was also not good. Very very thin, and had to look for the meat. This place was nothing Sicilian authentic at all. Always end on a good note. The staff was great, the place was clean, and presentation was good. Throw some fresh grated cheese over everything and it looks good. But that’s where it ends. If you can, stay home and make your own.

I felt like this place could have been a really good experience for me but the prosciutto was very chewy and inedible at times and it kind of ruined the pizza. I also got the lasagna and it all just tasted like mush. Pasta overcooked and didn’t get putting hard boiled eggs in it either. Not the best experience, however I think it deserves another chance to redeem itself. 2.8/5

We went here for the first time on a Friday afternoon for an early dinner. Our son has been at Belmont for 2 years and we’ve heard a lot about this place, so we had to finally check it out. We were greeted with a less than friendly warning about the time it would take for the pizza, which wasn’t a problem, we were in no hurry. The cashier wearing a snake/pentagram necklace also didn’t offer much in the way of any “must try” dishes and was really just cold despite my best attempts of friendliness. We were happy to pay and leave to wait outside, which was a decent little patio area, but there’s nowhere to use the restroom and wash hands before eating, and, sadly, they do not sell any wine. The margherita pizza was okay, but definitely lacking, if not chintzy on the basil. The salad was good, refreshing, but just a salad, nothing noteworthy. The star of the order was the spaghetti and meatballs. The pasta was homemade and thick, cooked perfectly al dente; it absorbed a lot of the delicious sauce really well. The meatballs melted in your mouth, SO TENDER! Three of us ate on the salad, pizza, and spaghetti & meatballs and had leftovers to bring home. The tiramisu was also some of the best I’ve ever had. All in all, I’d go back for the pasta and maybe to try a different pizza, but there’s little reason to return otherwise. There are just too many good alternatives around Nashville to not have the wine option and someone who actually appreciates you supporting the business, satan’s little helper was not our cup of tea.

If you’re craving genuine Italian flavors, look no further than Tutti Da Gio. Their wood-fired pizzas boast a perfectly chewy crust, fermented for over 24 hours, and topped with quality ingredients like crispy pepperoni and fresh ricotta.  The pasta dish dish ordered was equally impressive. The gnocchi, drenched in a rich cream and pesto sauce, is a standout, offering a comforting experience.  Tutti Da Gio truly brings a slice of Sicily to Tennessee. Highly recommend. It was a good 15-20 min wait but not too bad

It was just ok. I suggest reviewing the online menu before you enter. When you walk in there is a menu hanging on the wall right where the line forms. So if you need to linger to pick your dish you are holding up other customers who enter after you. The sauce taste like Chef Boy R Dee Spaghettios out of a can. Maybe next time we will try something different. If we return.

Some of the best Sicilian food i have had in my lifetime is right here. Over many different trips here, I had the capricciosa pizza, the arancini, an espresso ice dessert, the pasta with clams, and the meatball parm panino. It is high-quality good food. My sister came here once as well and tried the caprese salad and the shrimp in garlic and butter - she said the food was incredible. If you are looking for some good quality sicilian food this is the place for you. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Get your behinds in here now y'all! This is THE MOST authentic Italian I've had living in Tennessee for 3 years. I can personally speak to the sausage and potato pizza, pesto gnocchi, meatballs and sauce, and the cannoli. All of these I would highly recommend. My husband enjoyed the shrimp in a butter and garlic sauce. My only skip was the arancini but it was still fun to try. The staff were friendly and while it's not a sit down inside kind of restaurant, there's plenty of tables to enjoy your take out there. Hot tip: this restaurant is opening in Hendersonville summer 2024, in the previous location of Half Batch Brewery.

Food was cold And not tasty I had high hopes for it too as we had just gotten back from Italy

We were disappointed, I must say after reading the prior reviews. First thing, I don't like sitting outside in a parking lot (under canopy), and in the rain. Seats were all wet and wind blowing the sides into us. Pizza was good, and you can tell the ingredients were good quality. The chew in the crust was great but too much cornmeal I guess? Also it was too thin for me and floppy. Every first bite of each slice, the cheese slid off and all I had was dough after that. Didn't like this at all. Ragu tagliatelle pasta was good but the Ragu was a little sweet. Business was good here, give it a try, it just wasn't for us. As for being one of Yelp's top 100 places to eat, I disagree.

Pizza is hands down 5 s! Authentic and flavorful, classic and simple, this pizza stands up. We had the soppressata pie, and the pesto gnocchi dish. The gnocchi is gummy. I think it suffered from sitting on the counter while our pizza was being made. The sauce was very tasty, but I will think twice about ordering pasta there since this is primarily take out with a few tables outside. It was too chilly to eat there the night we visited. We also had the cannoli. Good, but the shell suffers from being prefilled. A thin layer of chocolate on the inside of the shell would fix that right up. I hear they are moving, so we gotta get it while it is close. But, I truly hope they will keep just a pizza place here and maybe serve the pastas from a sit down location.

I really enjoyed this pizza! It reminded me of the pizza I had while I was in southern Italy. One signature piece is how light and fluffy the crust is. It's not too dense and has a good amount of bubbles. This was something I really appreciated about the pizza in Italy. We ordered two pizzas, the Diavolo and Norma which were pepperoni and eggplant respectively. The pepperoni tasted like salami and were extremely flavorful. The eggplant was perfectly cooked and crispy. My only complaint was they listed ricotta as an ingredient in the Norma pizza and I didn't taste it as much as I would have liked. Lastly I appreciated their heated out door seating area and that they allow dogs, but I was a bit confused by the service. They operate as a takeout place which is totally cool, but the fact they had tables made me feel like they'd offer beverages or water to customers. Also bring out plates and napkins as well, but none of this happened. Service was a bit lacking but if you are in the area! I'd recommend checking this place out.

Tutti da Gio is the epitome of Italian food. Being from New Jersey, I have been looking for authentic Italian food, and I have definitely found it here. Their salmon pasta is amazing, and their pasta bolognese reminds me of my Nonna's. I highly recommend this place!

Though unassuming from its exterior, there is some serious culinary excellence taking place at Tutti Da Gio. We kept it simple & ordered two Margherita pizzas over the phone, and they were ready within 15 minutes. Directly beside the take-out only restaurant they've set up several picnic tables, some even tented; a nice effort considering there is no indoor seating. Then we dug in ! Between three people, we polished off two entire pizzas with ease. Every aspect of the pie was perfectly executed, but the crust was the shining star - some of the most flavorful I've ever had. The simplicity of the pizza is what I really admire. The light application of sauce and cheese allows every ingredient to sing: a note a basil here, a note of acid there, all supported by the strong backing vocals of the crust. It's worth the trip off the beaten path to try this place. Tutti Da Gio is a triumph!

I saw this place in a Facebook video. The video made everything look yum. We had the sausage and potato pizza and salmon pasta. Both we absolutely delicious. I loved being able to sit outside on a nice night. There is no indoor seating so be sure to get it to go in bad weather. I am looking forward to the cannoli I got but was too full to eat. All of the employees we interacted with were pleasant and helpful!

I heard that Tutti Da Gio was a really great place for delicious Italian food. When I was in the area, I finally got to try it and the reviews were right. My favorite pizza in Tennessee. The crust was crispy and the toppings were fresh and quite tasty. My order was ready on time. There are picnic tables outside, but no where for inside dining. They are opening a new location in Hendersonville soon. I think that it will have a dine in option. Try it, you will like it!

Great little pizza place. It's pretty much to-go only. They do have an outside eating area if you wish. I ordered the Vulcano salad, side of Burrata, and a Capricciosa pizza. The salad was basic with a few added ingredients. Red onions, cucumbers, Kalamata olives, and capers. I had them hold the tomatoes. But the real hero of this salad is their house dressing. It was AMAZING!!! I ordered the large which was the size of a standard take out box. Probably big enough for 2 people. But I ate it all anyway LOL. The side of Burrata was delicious! Burrata is one of my favorite cheeses. It was simply just the ball of cheese and I ate it like that. I should have added it to my salad. Next time I'll do that for sure. For my pizza I ordered the Capricciosa. It was a little different than I am used to. The prosciutto had more of a ham taste and texture. But overall the pizza was very good and I would certainly order it again. The crust was perfect for me. A little chewy while crisp and burnt flakes here and there. Absolutely how I think a pizza should be cooked. Wood-fired oven as well. Pizza shouldn't be cooked any other way!!! The staff was friendly and worked fast. They told me it would be about 30 min for my order and it was ready in just under 15 min. Great job, guys! Much appreciated since I was starving and was taking my food back to my hotel to eat it. Next time I might try the Diavola pizza as they said it was their most popular. Or I might try the pastas as they all sounded good. Guess I'll need to make a few more visits to try it all.

Hole in the wall, no-indoor table havin', totally worth it, delicious, authentic Sicilian food. Lots of outdoor tables under tents with heaters. Food doesn't take terribly long. Fresh pasta is amazing. Pizza is authentic Sicilian. Simply fantastic. Have you eaten here? No? You should eat here. Yes? You should eat here again and try something new. Bring friends.

We needed to grab some dinner on our way out of town (headed to Pigeon Forge from the Nashville airport) and had this pizza place recommended to us by a lady on the plane. I'm so grateful for her recommendation. This place is owned and run by a family from Sicily, Italy and their pizza is superb! Our group of 5 ladies split 2 pizzas and 2 salads. The salads were quite large and we could have prob just gotten one. We got the pizza margherita (classic and so well executed- chef's kiss) and the Parma- also excellent. The salad was quite good, none of the ingredients were completely standout but it was good and fresh and the dressing was really nice and made in house. If I lived locally this would be my choice for pizza. There was a line (this is a take out spot but they do have some covered picnic tables set up adjacent to the restaurant. It is located at the back of a strip mall and parking is available.

In brief: waits can be long, food is great, takeout counter with some outdoor seating. Very busy -- wait was 2 hours. The food was fantastic but thought I would include this first since I think being aware of the wait probably would have been the most helpful thing to know. Very reasonable and plenty of parking. The inside is a walk up/takeout counter and there are some covered tables outside to eat. They seem to sell out of the lasagne so try to order early if you're hoping to try that. We ended up getting some pasta dishes and a margarita pizza that were great, as well as the cannolis and panna cotta which were also delicious.

Mind blown. The pizza, goodness. Been searching so much to find a good pizza like this. We had the capricciosa pizza without meat or mushroom. Just perfect. So good that we ordered their margherita and Norma pizza to go for later! The Burrata was so delicious and fresh. Gnocci 4 cheese pasta was really good (gnocci ai Quattro formaggi).. next time I'm gonna order that sauce with regular pasta as it was very rich overall. Loved the tiramisu and panna cotta. My friend and hubby loved the bianco e nero. Overall this place is a real gem. Seating is outside and food does take time to come, so maybe next time we will call and order or take to go. Definitely coming back!

We found it folks! The best pizza in Nashville BY FAR! Not even close. I've been searching for so long. I've heard about Tutti Da Gio for a while now but never got the opportunity to make it over there. After trying many pizza spots in Nashville this is hands down my favorite. This is not a jersey/NY slice but it's more authentic style pizza you would get over in Italy. We were just in Sicily/Italy last month and find the pizza we got here was almost identical. So happy we found a good spot for Italian food. I'm excited to go back because it's more than just a pizzeria.

The best Italian food I've had in Nashville (or possibly ever)! Went around lunchtime on a Saturday and it was about a 40 min wait for food. There's a little bit of outdoor seating that was full by the time we got there, so we got our food to go. The owner is Sicilian and makes a lot of the menu items in-house. We got the margherita pizza and spaghetti with meatballs. Both were amazing. The tomato sauce is perfectly tart but not too acidic, the crust is thin and chewy, the spaghetti noodles were thick and al dente, and the meatballs were clearly homemade with evidence of crumbs in its texture. We also got some complimentary bread on the side. The flavors were absolutely spectacular. Also located near a Z Mart with great gas prices!

EXCELLENT food!!!! Seating outside is questionable but maybe adds to the ambiance. Service is good but things take awhile. Did I say EXCELLENT lasagna and pizza? Maybe the best lasagna ever.

Love this place! Best Italian food in Nashville. The pizza is best fresh and has just the right amount of chew. My favorite thing to order is Pasta alla Giovannina, which is perfectly cooked, chewy noodles with to-die-for ragu sauce. Try the desserts, too! Some things to know: PARKING & ACCESS - The entrance is in the back corner of the parking lot, to the right of Shooters bar. There is ample parking. INTERIOR - The inside is very small, and has just enough room for a counter to order at and for a couple people to stand waiting to order or for their food. The kitchen is open, which makes for some entertainment while you wait! ORDERING FOR HERE - You order at the counter inside or call ahead (pay inside when you get there). All orders are packaged to go. They have some covered and some uncovered outdoor seating areas, which is very cute, but no indoor seating! Some of the chairs are sturdier than others - if you are a larger person, you may want to scope out a few to find one that will be comfortable for you. If you are sitting outside, they'll bring the order to you when its ready. ORDERING TO GO - I recommend calling ahead so you aren't stuck waiting in their small interior, outside in bad weather, or in your car. But you do you! In my experience, it's a 15-30 minute wait on call ahead orders - they're good about giving you a timeline on the phone! RESTROOMS - Tutti has no restrooms of their own - you have to either go into Shooters next door or across the parking lot to the gas station.

I'm just a local that loves seeing a restaurant doing it right. This place is buzzing with people. Word of mouth is spreading like wildfire. Tutti Da Gio they said. I said who thewhatta? This little diamond in the rough by Shooters (dive bar) Hermitage. I ordered the Diavola Pepperoni Pizza and the Bambino Formaggio. Yes it was exquisitely delicious. It's gotta be the passion and the people. This crew knew what to do! From the register to the back door! Impressive. We're very fortunate to have Tutti in our neighborhood. Bravo Giovanna and crew!

I lived 3 years in Sicily and this pizza is the closest to the original as I have had since returning to the US. Of course Tutti Da Gio is run by an Italian family. The crust's chewiness was so reminiscent of Italy. In Sicily, I remember the crust's bottom being firmer and we ate our pizza with a fork and knife. There is a reason that Tutti Da Gio is on the top pizza places for 2023. We also liked the salad, very Italian in its flavors. The italian bread that came with it is perfect, just the right amount of chewiness. (made in house daily) The storefront is a to go/deleviery location only. Next door, they have set up an outdoor/patio seating area for those who want to eat immediately. We will be back to try the pasta.

The pizza is decent, a little bland and just a touch overdone. I wouldn't go out of my way, but it's worth it if I'm area. Arancini is great.

For my first experience with Sicilian food, Tutti Da Gio did not disappoint! I ordered takeout online and the food was ready on time, and the pickup process was super easy everything was well packaged and the food was well portioned. I had the lasagna and added a side of meatballs, and everything tasted great. The order also comes with free bread. I can't wait to go back to try more items from this restaurant!

Tutti Da Gio was phenomenal!! The salmon pasta and the meat ragu were phenomenal. The prices were very fair considering the quality of the food and the service was great.

Did you know this place was ranked number 44 out of 100 for Yelp's Top 100 spots in the US and Canada? The epitome of don't judge a book by its cover. This pizza spot is tucked away at the very end of a small parking lot, next-door to a smoky country dive bar. All the pizza here is woodfired and made-to-order. I highly suggest calling in your order or scheduling it ahead of time for pick up. Don't just show up and order because it could take a while. The owner and her son, who make a majority of the food here, are originally from Sicily and you can taste the authenticity. We snacked on two pizzas, arancinis, and three desserts to round out the meal. The margherita pizza and the four cheese pizza were incredible! Nicely toasted on the bottom and a light bubbly crust. Each bite of the margherita pizza blasted my taste buds with fresh herbaceous basil and spicy sausage. The cheese pizza was just as good surprisingly not overly cheesy and really enjoyed the briney olives paired with the pie. My only complaint would be to add more olives, please! You can't lose with their arancini! These are fried rice balls filled with a meaty red sauce. Pure fried bliss! My wife and I both loved the deserts, especially in creampuffs. Creme puffs covered in a chocolate Nutella sauce, mind blown! This place is a pick up and go style restaurant, with no indoor seating. They have added a few tables to the parking lot, but the view is not the best. Pro tip: head to their website and schedule your order to be picked up on your way home from work.

Wow. This place lives up to the hype. I was checkin Instagram around 10:30 while waiting to do some business down in Lavergne when I saw Yelp Nashville's post about "pizza day" & featuring Tutti Da Gio as one of the top pizza places in the COUNTRY for 2023. I was already hungry & contemplating a boring efficient lunch back home or stopping somewhere new when coming back through the city around noon, so I decided to go to Tutti Da Gio. Tutti opened may 2022 & I'm shocked I hadn't caught wind of it considering it is in a location right off 40E at the old hickory exit between two gas stations that I drive by somewhat frequently. It is at the end of a strip of stores next to the local shooters lounge bar. Definitely a low key location is where you'll find this gem. Inside there is enough standing room for a handful of people to place orders & wait for their order to be served up, but there is no seating inside. Not a huge deal because they have some covered tables outside & the weather was perfect today for an outside lunch. When I went arrived at 11:34 I was the only person eating there so it was quiet. The staff were very nice & chatted with me while I waited for my Norma pizza and arancini. They told me about how well they have been received since opening & what they really liked on the menu. They also talked me into grabbing some chocolate puff pastries to go for my wife. More on that next. The pizza was ready in probably less than 10 mins. I quickly moved outside & opened it up to snap a pic before digging in. I went with the Norma (eggplant, mozzarella,ricotta, red sauce) which was highly spoke of on the Yelp & I don't recall ever having eggplant & ricotta on a traditional style pizza so I was curious. It was fabulous, the crust was perfetto & the toppings were simple, delicate, & yet combined for an explosion of flavor. I ate half & saved the rest for later & to share with my wife. The Arancini was very good as well but overshadowed by the pizza. The chocolate cream puffs were a delight & a must for the chocolate lover. Cream puff pastry rolled in a Nutella mousse, with sprinkled chocolate shavings on top. It was like eating a light airy chocolate ice cream donut hole is the best i can describe it. Now that I know about this place & it's only a quick 20 min drive across town I'll be back. It's tough to find great traditional pizza in this town & aside from Bella Napoli this place has the goods. Next I'll try the gnocchi or the lasagna

I am going to rate Tutti da Gio on what it is rather than group it in with Italian restaurants. What it is, put simply, is an Italian pick up spot for pasta, pizza, and a few other items. So I am primarily focusing on the food. Coming into the place, it looks a bit more like a small convenience store with a big pizza oven behind the counter. There are racks for the delivery drivers, like Uber Eats, who come in to pick up and drive to someone ordering food from their couch. As I waited for my meal, there was a fairly steady queue going in and out. To be transparent, I was offered a great deal on my meal as a part of Yelp Elite, but I did not let this influence my rating (although I did click 4, then 5, then 4, a few times before deciding). But, I have also heard great things from the Foodies of Nashville Facebook group along with recommendations of foodie friends on the east side of the city, so the price was not a reason to go here, but an incentive to go here now. See pix: I had the daviola pizza (spicy pepperoni), an Arincini (ragu filled arborio rice ball - really an egg - breaded and deep fried), and two desserts: tiramisu and Bianco e Nero (white & black - which is a puff balled covered with chocolate cream/pudding and some cocoa). My thoughts? The pepperoni does have a hint of spice, but if you are thinking serious pepper, you won't find it here. The cheese is higher end than what you find in lower end pizza joints and has a nice spring to it, as well as a great flavor. The wood fired oven adds a bit of smokiness which works very well with this combo. I am curious how other pizzas are, but I have always been a fan of a good wood fired pizza. The Arincini is something I have never tried before, so I was excited. The ragu in the middle is very delicate. The rice is perfectly cooked (meaning for rice, not risotto - :D ) and it is lightly deep fried in a hot deep fryer. If you get a meal here, I would add one on. The desserts were heavenly. The Tiramisu is very Italian style, so lighter on sugar than Ameri-Italian spots. The coffee soaking the lady fingers adds a wonderful flavor that complements the fingers and topping. The Bianco e Nero was my favorite, as I love puff balls. The topping was like pudding, but not like the cheap box stuff. Two thumbs up from both me and my friend. It was cold, so I did not get to experience the "eat in" area, but had no intention anyway, as there are plenty of breweries that allow outside food (of course beer goes good with pizza). I can imagine it as an option for someone who does not have another spot to go, but it is definitely seasonal. Try again? Definitely. I am interested to see if the pasta and gnocchi have the same bang as the pizza. And who doesn't like a good panini?

We had this delivered after reading so many good reviews and they were *accurate*. We are about 20 min away and the food arrived still hot. Ordered the Arancini which was filled with rice and cheese but also the ragu which I haven't seen before and was delicious. Despite it being wrapped in foil and driven to our house it was still nice and crispy. I also ordered the pasta al pomodoro which was perfect al dente, nice thick bucatini noodles, sauce was good, not too acidic. Portion size looks small but I couldn't even come close to finishing it so that's deceiving. The rest of our party got the 4 cheese gnocchi (sauce was rich, gnocchi was perfect), and the alicut panini (meat was quality, the pizza dough they use for the bread was perfect). They threw in some sliced Italian bread that was so crusty and delicious. Prices super reasonable for excellent from scratch Sicilian food. Only sad part was they were out of canoli but we will be back again and again. Best Italian food for miles and miles.

Tutti Da Gio first timer and it make for the perfect meal for a girls night where we basically did a pasta sampler meal. Starting with the good: the pastas. All absolutely incredible. The spicy pasta and salmon and cream sauce pasta are truly two of the best I have ever had. The pesto gnocchi was good for even for someone who doesn't like gnocchi OR pesto so if you like the combo, you'll love this! The Ragu was very good as well. I would definitely come back or more likely to order through a food delivery service. Cons: it's about 30 minutes from my house so the likely hood of us going out there to grab and bring home is not high. If this is in your neighborhood, consider yourself lucky. I will however order the pastas again through food delivery service. Being that it's kind of outside of Nashville, the pizza might get cold upon arrival as it did for us. It was still good but those types of pizzas are not the best if not eaten in a timely manner. The Arancini was a miss. I think of Arancini as a sharing item and it was just one big odd looking ball and had very little flavor. Please note this restaurant only does pickup there is no where to dine in. You will be disappointed if that is your perception. All and all, I will 100% be back for the pastas and look forward to seeing how this place grows!!!

I would give this place ALL the stars if I could! Listen - the wait is worth it. The price is worth it. They are not fancy - but it's the BEST damn pizza in Nashville.

My experience at Tutti da gio was an unexpected delight. Tucked behind a sketchy gas station in the Hermitage area, this unpretentious Italian eatery turned out to be a hole-in-the-wall gem. The location might raise eyebrows, but as a true Nashville resident, I know that authentic finds often come in unexpected places. I attended a Yelp Elite event, where I first encountered their cheese pizza, and it left an indelible mark on my taste buds. Having traveled extensively, I can confidently say that their cheese pizza is unparalleled - the freshness of the cheese made me feel like I was savoring it straight from an Italian farm. The subtle addition of basil elevated its flavor even further. My curiosity led me to try their most popular dish, the gnocchi in pesto sauce. As a lover of gnocchi, I was excited to dive in, having been spoilt by the likes of Trader Joe's. Regrettably, the experience was not up to par. The gnocchi's texture fell short of the ideal, leaning towards mushiness, and the pesto sauce was drenched in a tad too much olive oil. It left me yearning for the Trader Joe's version. Despite this disappointment, my admiration for the restaurant's hardworking owner, an immigrant from Sicily, prompted me to grant them a 5-star rating. Knowing the challenges of immigration and how it fuels the drive to succeed, I salute her efforts in bringing an authentic Italian experience to Nashville. Tutti da gio might be hidden, but its dedication to genuine flavors shines brightly.

The spaghetti w/ meatballs AND the pesto gnocchi are terrific! The pizza is wood fired and delicious! The service was great too. I love seeing youngsters getting in on the family business. We ordered take away, but their outdoor seating area looks comfortable and clean. We will definitely be ordering again!

I went first time 6pm on Saturday, everything sold out. OMG, some restaurants just get started. That's mean to me their food should be very good. Then I went online ordered. The owner called me back to confirm my order. Such a great service. When i pick up the food, they smelled so good, had to eat a slice Pizza first, couldn't wait. Yam yam yam!

We got food from here. There's no indoor place to sit. The food was meh...not that great and outrageously expensive. Salvo's is a lot better.

Found this small local place on Yelp after looking for food to pick up on the way back to Knoxville. It was super convenient right off the interstate, pizza was ready early and the staff (cashier) was SO pleasant. The pizza was amazing and I will definitely be back to try the lasagna and arancini balls when I come back through with my family. Ingredients were fresh and delicious. Highly recommend!!

I've heard that this is the best Italian in Nashville. Bold words. Let's see. I stopped by and placed a takeout order for dinner, and parked in front of an unassuming strip mall. The people working were incredibly kind and my food was steaming when I picked it up. I took it to go since it was a little cold outside and guys, people aren't overreacting. The pesto gnocchi was phenomenal, and there was SO much of it. I also got the eggplant a La nonna and can also agree that was delicious as well. Definitely check this place out. They're destined for good things in the future.

I tried to order pizza - but they were sold out I understand that -but...... The place seemed chaotic and they were rude.

10/10 on pizzas. From outside I was gobsmacked by a delicious and unmistakable smell of high quality pizza. Mouth instantly watering I waltzed inside to a packed and busy little Italian shop and was greeted warmly while I got to watch the magic happen. Once we made it home I finally got to see what we had waited for and I was both disappointed. Decent char with traditional bubbly dough, light on density but huge on the flavor. Hands down new favorite spot by far for Neopolitan style pizza and will certainly be trying the pasta and sandwiches.

I want to leave a 6 . If you're looking for Italian authentic Sicilian food this is the place, you won't be disappointed. The wood fired pizza was top notch, best in the area! The meatballs are amazing and melt in your mouth! I spend the summer in Gallatin and I'm so sad I didn't find this place sooner. Do yourself a favor and get there as soon as possible! Only one thing I can say negative and it has nothing to do with the food. Please please go back to Coke products like at the original restaurant! Nothing better than a Barq's root beer with pizza.

Stopped by here for lunch on our way through to Franklin. Such a neat little restaurant. Outside tent dining only. All items are brought out in take out containers and plastic silverware. The food was amazing! We had lasagna, tortellini, a cannoli and tiramisu. Highly recommend. Salad was nothing special. Check it out!

Best Italian/Sicilian food in town. Top 100 Restaurant in the U.S. and it's right here in Hermitage. Service is fast and the food is take-out, but there are tables outside for dining when the weather is good.

You'd never suspect this place to be amazing. It smells so good inside and we are trying every single thing here. It's so authentic!

The setting is quirky but fun. There is covered outside seating. The pizza is made in an amazing wood-fired oven. The ingredients are top quality. The taste is delicious. I wish there was more quantity of toppings. Don't miss the sausage and potato - unusual for the US but perfect, not starchy. The volcano salad is the perfect side. It has a unique and wonderful homemade dressing and high-quality extras like kalamatra olives and shaved red onion. The rice ball appetizer was somewhat bland and unremarkable. Bottled soft drinks. Other drinks available but I didn't note them. Fairly expensive, but quality justified it. Only wish - toppings to the edge. Great!

Loved, loved, loved this place!!! Can't tell you what a treat this place is to my Italian heart!!! Probably the best little Italian place I've been to in Tennessee for panini's, pasta, and pizza. Came here with a work buddy of mine because I saw this place on YELP and I ordered the prosciutto and arugula Panini (Lipari), the bread was amazing and it all had so much flavor and melted in my mouth. I also ordered the salmon pasta and the gnocchi Quattro formaggi to take home. The gnocchi were fabulous and the salmon too. My friend ordered one of the pizzas and it was fabulous!!! I will certainly be back very very soon!

This place was some of the best Italian I've had in Nashville! The people working were so kind and the outside seating had some cute tables that were covered in case of rain. All the pastas were super flavorful and fresh. The portions were pretty big too. Will definitely be returning!

This is an Italian style pizza place that does a great job with the food. We ordered a couple of Margherita pizzas, and although it appeared to be Neapolitan style, it was a bit crispier than a usual Neapolitan. Also, it didn't have fresh mozzarella - but it was still very good. On the One Bite App scale this was a 7.8 pizza (I like Neapolitan and Dave doesn't - his issue, not mine). Sauce was excellent - but I'll order extra sauce next time. Salad - got the house dressing, this has a lot of capers in it, and I'm not a capers guy, but the salad was good. My attempt to be healthy :-) Service - great, these people are super friendly. I hope they have family that wants to open up a restaurant in Athens, Alabama. Wish they had indoor dining - we had a great day to eat outside, but if it had been raining, we would have to skip it because the 30 minute drive to our family in Gallatin would be too far to reheat a bunch of pizzas. Saw some pastas, and those looked amazing.
