I've been to this restaurant for many years, starting when it was first in a different location in Sag Harbor. When it was in its former location, we used to go more often, especially during the summer since it wasn't particularly crowded and we always enjoyed the meal. After the location moved onto the Main Street in Sag Harbor, we were only able to find reservations in the winter and didn't go during the summer. It wasn't until early this summer that we decided to make a reservation try the new place again in its new location. When we had gone in the winter, I got very similar dishes to the times we went this summer.
The two most recent times I went, I ordered the burrata, tricolore salad, and the ravioli dish, along with the cracker and bread for the table. For dessert we shared the panna cotta, budino, and tiramisu. I thought all of the main dishes were very enjoyable. In the past, we have not had to pay for bread, but the bread is now on the menu as an item to order - this time we paid for the bread (which was a good portion) and lots of olive oil to go with it. The budino had a very dark chocolate flavor and came with biscottis. The tiramisu had a great presentation, and tasted amazing. While this doesn't detract from my overall experience, when I went the other day I found that some of the lettuce in the tricolore was discolored and didn't seem like it was as fresh as I have experienced other times. Since this restaurant is a long time favorite and I've ordered the salad other times with great experiences, I wouldn't say this will taint my experience or my ordering of the salad in the future. I would say that the food is pricey, and is priced as I expected for its location, ambiance, and good service.
