"TVB or "ti voglio bene" is Italian for "I love you," and fittingly there is so much to love about this concept. Tucked among an array of commercial shops, its façade is unmissable with its futuristic logo and colorful door. Inside, the space is lofty with a copper bar and muted tiles set against shades of blue. There is a classic rusticity to the setting, not unlike its cuisine, which focuses on Roman-inspired items. Chef Cristian Petitta prepares some of the best pinsa in town, its puffy and crispy crust topped with a well-balanced tomato sauce, mozzarella and basil, full stop. Fettuccine ai porcini is properly sauced yet smoky; while risotto balls are a savory thrill. Entrées are limited but hearty; and simple desserts end the meal on a good note." - Michelin Inspector

Very nice comfy atmosphere and the food was great to boot. We were in the area visiting a school and came across TVB. We were very pleased to find this nice Italian restaurant. My daughter is a big pasta connoisseur and it really hit the spot. We will definitely be visiting again when in the area.

Google
Pax Romana delivered an incredible lunch experience that absolutely lives up to its Michelin recognition. The food was outstanding—rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly crafted with care. I had the chance to try the Fettuccine ai Porcini, Speck e Panna, Penne alla Vodka, and Maccheroni con Ragù di Salsiccia—each dish was delicious and distinct, making it hard to choose a favorite. The service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and professional. The restaurant itself has a cozy, inviting atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed yet high-quality meal. Portion sizes were generous, and for the quality, the pricing feels like a great value. If I had to mention one minor thing, it would be a slightly off smell upon entering, but it quickly faded and didn’t impact the experience overall. Highly recommended—I'll definitely be returning!

Enjoyed a pasta making class with my girlfriends on a recent Monday night. We made carbonara. Amazing service/high quality food. Owner and chef made us feel very welcomed. The owner even played our favorite songs! Strongly recommend.

Google
It's a small narrow space but it works. The pastas are fresh. We split a generous sized arugula salad with sliced pears, almond slivers, & dabs of burrata cheese. Pastas were a citizen with sausage Bolognese & gnocchi with mozzarella cheese. Drinks were a maker's mark Manhattan & vodka gimlet.

My first time there last night. Food was very good. The service was great. Parking was right outside in the back lot.

I used to work here and the owners are all incredible men who are truly detailed and passionate about what they do. The service, atmosphere, and food is delicious! I love to order their salad, it is called “QUINOA E CAPRINO” which is quinoa, mixed vegetables, goat cheese, and orange dressing. I also order the “SPAGHETTI ALLA CARBONARA” which is egg yolk, guanciale, black pepper, and pecorino cheese. Additionally, I order their fresh and delicious “ MARGHERITA (S. MARZANO D.O.P)” which is tomato, mozzarella, and fresh basil. They also had like fresh basil or mint in water at tables. It was such a good vibe and beautiful. Not sure if they still do this. I have to get back in there to eat! You cannot leave without eating their gelato. I love the pistachio flavor! They also have pasta making classes!!! Thank you for your dedicated service! No pasta no party!!!!!

Google
Had higher expectations given the good reviews and that I really liked pax ramona when it was still around. TVB however was a little disappointing. Not too many choice on their menu. Only 3/4 meat options, the rest are vegetarian friendly. Food was okay. Dessert was better than the entrees and appetizers. The entrees ordered included: gnocchi, steak, chicken Parmesan, fettuccine pasta and penne vodka pasta. Everything was eh. The steak was probably the best but a little salty. The pepperoni pizza, can’t really go wrong. Good crust. Good service. Great outdoor seating ambiance. Speciality cocktails were good. Id go for drinks and dessert but not a full dinner

Google
This is my go to place when I need something close by to grab a drink and dinner with a friend. I’ve taken a bunch of different people here and everyone has loved what they have gotten. It’s got gluten free options , homemade pasta, delicious pizza, and I’m addicted to their stuffed olives (get them). It’s not an especially big place, but the ambience is decent and the wine is good. Highly recommend the carbonara, chicken parm, and chicken scarparello pinsa (it’s a pizza)

Yelp
The device was great. Attentive and they paid attention to my wife's garlic allergy and cooked her dish to perfection she had the cacio e Pepe and I had the ravioli. Both were perfectly cooked and the ravioli had a perfectly sweet sauce. We were there at an off time, 3pm, so it was quiet but the place is very cozy with a friendly staff. I ordered a glass of wine that must have been from a bottle that had been opened for a couple of days and tasted oxidized. I mentioned this to the waiter and he offered me a new glass from a newly opened bottle. Much better. All in all we had a very pleasant lunch. I'm Italian so I am VERY critical of tomato sauce and this was delicious. We will be back again.

Yelp
Ok folks! A simple dish that is so hard to make yourself. This is the reason why you want authentic when you go out to an Italian place like Pax. Homemade pasta that goes to your soul! My lovely wife and I revisited in a Saturday evening. A couple tables left fortunately with a fun crowd and great atmosphere! Anyhow: Read. My. Lips. CACIO Y PEPE! Lord have mercy! The best we ever had! Period! We also shared a simple pasta with broccoli rabe and it was a home run as usual! A must to go to in White Plains. Park in the lots as the meter people are vicious on the street!

David D.

Yelp
First time here for dinner with friends. Nice space, although a little noisy when crowded. Open kitchen and a full bar. Attentive and efficient service. We started with Affetati (the cold antipasto plate) and fried calamari. The affetati was freshly sliced meats and cheeses served over a bed of lettuce (arugula ?), the calamari, well seasoned and perfectly fried. I had the fresh Linguini and clams, the Honey, fried shrimps over the arugula salad. The friends, the veal Milanese's special and the pasta with mushrooms. Everyone was happy with their choices. We finished with the tiramisu for dessert. Delicious! Cocktails and Cabernet carafes of the house wine completed the very pleasant meal.

Yelp
I absolutely love this restaurant! I've lived in the area for over 2 years and for some reason never came in. But boy am I happy that I finally did and I'll definitely be back. The vive is very cool and fun, it's a cute space, not too but not too small. There is a cozy bar area and then tables along the narrow yet long restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing, I had the best caccio e peppe, it was exactly what I was craving, cooked perfectly, and I'll definitely be ordering again. My fiancé loved his chicken Parm as well. Our drinks were the perfect pairing for our meals and we had a great night. The service was good, our waiter checked in on us often, always ensured we had a drink and of course recommended dessert, which was amazing. I loved the bombolini (Italian donuts), flavorful and perfectly fluffed. I will definitely be back and recommend to locals and visitors alike as a must stop in White Plains!

Yelp
My group and I had a 7pm reservation on Saturday. We got there about 20 minutes early and they promptly seated us without any issues. We took our bride-to-be out for dinner. I saw a picture of a cheese pasta wheel and honestly that was the main reason why we chose this place....come to find out, they only offer that during private events. I should have asked when making the reservation. Besides that little hick-up, we ordered fried calamari, margherita pizza and burrata for apps. I loved the burrata (please add fresh basil next time). The calamari were good and the pizza ok. For entrees we all ordered pasta dishes. Two of us had the carbonara , which was very good and someone ordered the gnocchi dish, which was delicious and the bride-to-be had the penne vodka with shrimp, which was very very good! We also ordered a lot of desserts to go like the bomboloni with Nutella and some with cannoli cream, we also ordered Italian cheesecake and tiramisu and they were overall good! I think the highlight for me was the espresso martini...both of them!!

Gen C.

Yelp
Place was nice and modern. Came here for a birthday and they were able to accommodate our table of 10 people. To start, we ordered for the table, pizza, calamari, grilled octopus and meatballs. Also to share we ordered the carbonara pasta dish. This was really good! For main course I ordered the steak and comes with a side salad, very good steak and flavor was on point. I would say, it's not family style so portions are good for only one person. The drink menu was small but did order the martini, it was good. I would recommend this place. Staff were nice and food was great.

Lynn B.

Yelp
Always looking for a new place to eat when in NY. Came across this restaurant on the way to another one, and decided to check it out. Seated immediately; water glass and wine brought shortly after sitting down. Ordered the meatballs - four large ones came with marinara. I could only eat two to save room for my entree. Eggplant parmesan is a Da route, but when my order arrived, I thought it was lasagna. The waiter explained that it looks like lasagna, but was actually the eggplant parmesan. Thinly sliced eggplant layered like lasagna with cheese and marinara - so good. Side salad with strawberries and walnuts.

Levin V.

Yelp
The food here is great. I got a chicken cutlet in pasta thing that was great. Their burrata is really good, although not a fan of mixing it with tomatoes. I do think the service is quick since I ordered online. The only drawback was the tiramisu. We ordered it once and man was it so damn good! But the second time we ordered it, it wasn't as good :/. Nonetheless the food was nice and fresh, and really good

Davina C.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised with this place!! Several of my co-workers had recently dined here and recommended it. We decided to celebrate a teen birthday here and were able to get a reservation for 7 a few hours in advance on a Friday night. Lucky!! They did tell us that we would have just over 2 hours before the next group would be seating at the same table but I liked that they let us know when I had called rather than after seating us. Wine time! The list is not too long, but it covers the bases. We ended up getting a bottle of Montepulciano so I was quite content as it's one of my favorites. Price was $49. It went well with the food. We had several items which were all very delicious: penne alla vodka, cacio e Pepe, cavatelli with broccoli rabe and sausage, diavolo pizza and chicken scarpariello pizza. Everyone was very happy with their dish and had just enough room left for dessert. Service was attentive and professional. We did not feel rushed at all. They even put a candle into a bombolini so we could celebrate a birthday! It's a nice place. Decor is kinda modern. Not too busy with stuff. Simple. The crowd was mixed and spread out nicely on tables. It did not feel crowded. Smiles everywhere!! I recommend you give them a visit!

Jaclyn D.

Yelp
Very friendly hosts seated quickly and had reservation. I had the cavatelli with broccoli rabe, homemade sausage with garlic & extra virgin olive oil very fresh and tasty. Relatively crowded at about 8pm Friday evening. Waiters are quick and the place has a nice chill vibe. Definitely would go back and try more items on the menu! Give it a try!

Joanne W.

Yelp
We went on a Saturday night when they had a special event; food pairing with both white and red wines from 2 different wineries in Paso Robles. J Lorh and Hope wineries. It could not have been better! Every single food course was excellent. Started with Artisan bread with 3 different spears and a chutney. Next was a scallop with a corn cream puree. Then a pork loin with tiny roasted carrots and finished with steak ( a little too rare for me but rest of my party was thrilled with how it was cooked) with delic potatoes! Finished with an espresso mousse like dessert. And the wines were excellent and very generous pours! The staff was exceptional! Very attentive and professional! Manager and chef(!) stopped by table to be sure everyone was happy! A great evening all around!!

Yelp
I will always enjoy a trip to Pax Romana, but I must finally admit that I believe the food has gone downhill ever since Chef Christian Petitta left. The quality of the food just isn't as breathtaking as it once was. The pastas have been coming out a bit overcooked; the carbonara was very bland the last time I ordered it; the penne alla vodka lacked sauce and did not have any bacon, unlike listed on the menu; and the basic, unexciting flavors of the risotto balls did not command the $14 price point. Most disappointing was the chicken parmigiana, which was over-pounded and dry. There was practically no sauce whatsoever. What's going on, Pax?! Hope is nowhere near lost, though. The service is still phenomenal (waiters refill your water glass frequently, food comes out quickly), the Roman pinsa crust is perfection, and the atmosphere is always fun. I just hope the consistency of the food returns.

Lisa D.

Yelp
I was not impressed by their pasta and sauce tasted watery and canned with no flavor. Better off getting at pizzeria. The eggplant was like a layered lasagna which looked interesting but lacked flavor. Again must be the sauce. The chicken cutlet was very thin slices which is fine if they have more for the money spent. That was about $1 worth of chicken. The best part of the menu was the dessert. The tiramisu and the bombolini which is a fried donut with either either nutella or cannoli creme. So damn delicious. It could have been an off night. I have also heard that the original chef left and it has changed since then. Will be back for dessert.

Kathleen L.

Yelp
I've been coming here pre Covid and during Covid buying there homemade sauce and pasta. Everything they make is superb and at reasonable price. Their staff is stellar ... parking is at a lot and they will ticket you..... but this place is well worth it.

Phil C.

Yelp
Service was great but food was just ok. Nothing that jumped out but the chicken parm and gnocchi were serviceable. Clean and nice decor. Again, servers were on point with water and getting us everything we needed so all points to them.

Riy E.

Yelp
Perfectly nice location, great staff. Food is OK. I struggled with calling this a 3 star review, it can easily be a 4 based on staff or ambience and even when I think back on it now, I really just didn't enjoy the food. I tried the stuffed olives which sounded interesting but just didn't agree with my palate. The food was very very standard. I walked out of that meal comparing it to anything I can make in my own home and thats where it lost me. Nothing struck me as something that was far and away above anything else widely available or something that I can make myself. Overall, happy to that went and tried it. I don't think I'll be returning but DO RECOMMEND that others try it out to see what they think as well.

Renée C.

Yelp
This is my third time dining here. Last time I went, I went with a friend, did not review, and had that delicious avocado pinsa--mmm, so good! I love this place. It's so cool to have our very own little Roman restaurant in our own backyard. I want to go here more often. My mom goes all the time--without me!!!! Food and drinks. We had the juice bomb IPA on tap. It was the only IPA available at the time of our visit on a Saturday night in May. It was fresh, glass was thick and cold, which made for perfect beer drinking. These owners/employees know what they're doing. I can't come here and get anything but a pinsa. I think Pax and Papi on bank street may be the only two places in Westchester where you can get a Roman pinsa that tastes really good. Pax has the best consistency in my opinion. What you get one day at pax you're going to get the next. That's amazing. ANYWAY, my pinsa was INCREDIBLE. The flavor was totally there and fully amazing umami good. The crust was so CRISPITY CRUNCHEDY. Very very good. The husband loved his carbonara. They cook it al dente which he loves and it's very filling. I will drag whoever I need to to get myself back here. I'll be needing another pinsa soon.

Alp O.

Yelp
I like to try new places and my husband and I also one of our Yelp friend went this place. I really don know where to start everything was so delicious. The vibe of the place was amazing and all the staff and servers was great. We had a burrata as a starter and had some calamari also fried olives. ive never had fried olives before and it was so tasty. I can eat that fried olives without getting full :-) As an entree I had a steak. Unfortunately, I got so blind because of deliciousness and I forget to take a picture. As a desert we had tiramisu and doughnut. all in all had a wonderful food and an fun night at White Plains. Can't wait to go back there.

Ashlee S.

Yelp
A White Plains gem! Visited TVB by: Pax Romana with my colleagues for a holiday lunch and it was quite tasty. We started with burrata and calamari as appetizers. Our group enjoyed both. We each got different dishes for lunch and I don't recall what everyone had. However, I had gluten free pasta and it was tasty. I love visiting Italian restaurants with gluten free options. If you're looking for delicious food and a vibrant bar, this is the spot!

Lee G.

Yelp
We came for our 2 Year Anniversary with great expectations after some recommendations for this restaurant. We were seated quickly and felt the nice ambiance with the right touch of coziness where we were seated. We'd been told there were two items we just had to try: Chicken Parmigiana & Eggplant Parmigiana. We immediately noticed that the place was a bit...warm. While we fully expected cool air after coming in from the unusually warm September night, it was warm to say the least. Our Server was nice and helpful with the menu questions we had. The food arrived but not before a basket of a couple slices of bread and warm olive oil (seasoned) to top it. The chicken parmigiana looked good under its blanket of melted cheese but the chicken itself was a touch burnt to the taste and in some areas the breading was blackened. The eggplant parmigiana was more akin to a lasagna than traditional parmigiana. Both dishes required a little more seasoning, namely a touch more salt and black pepper for sure. After requesting some crushed red pepper and grated parmigiana cheese it upped the flavor profile of both. To do it all again, I'd have gone all eggplant knowing it's presented in a different way than usual places do it. The tomato sauce was somewhat bland on the pasta side but moved up a notch with the added extra red pepper flakes. The spaghetti was a little over cooked for my taste, rather chewy. Skip through to the dessert...I went with the tiramisu and it was OUTSTANDING to say the least! Lisa went with the bomboloni with the cannoli cream...WOW!!!! Definitely add dessert to your meal because it's so worth it! Nice local place and we're looking forward to returning to try their other dishes and the pizza. My only gripe was needing to ask for more water...small I know but I love water to follow a rich dessert.

Bill T.

Yelp
My husband and I met one of our Yelp friends here for a dinner and we loved it! The atmosphere is lively and fun. Service was very nice. We started with some appetizers including burrata, calamari and fried olives. All very good. My pinsa romana (basically a pizza) was amazing and such a generous portion size that I had it for lunch again the next day! We all liked our food and had a great time. I'm a fan!

John B.

Yelp
Amazing food and service. We walked in without a reservation on a Saturday and we're still accommodated. The chicken parm with a side order of penne vodka is the move.

Beth S.

Yelp
Best pasta, chicken parm, and eggplant parm in all of New York! Their pizza is great too! Don't miss out on this treasure!

Sachi O.

Yelp
This place is the best! The food is incredible, the drinks are great, the service is speedy and always nice, and the ambiance is nice and cozy. We've been here several times over the last year and the consistency of quality is amazing. We normally get the risotto balls and meatballs for appetizers, and the macaroni sausage ragu and the tagliolini cacio e pepe or the gnocchi sorrentina or our entrees, but you can't go wrong with any of their pastas. For dessert we get the cannoli and nutella bombolini, and they're always so delicious we could go for another round. You honestly can't wrong with this place, it's a must to visit here if you're in White Plains.

M T.

Yelp
Service was excellent and the traditional food such as eggplant and Tagliatelle were perfect. I will return, but will stay away from the seafood as it's apparently very difficult to cook correctly in this restaurant. Stick with the basics and enjoy. BTW, bottles of wine or great and relatively inexpensive.

Kyle S.

Yelp
In downtown White Plains, gotta pay for parking, but that's cities for you. The atmosphere is hip-modern with an Italian flare. Very cool place to come for a date or to hang out with friends. The servers are very attentive and nice. The food here is awesome and is made fresh daily. The pasta is made from scratch and the pizza flour is unique. I can tell nothing but the finest ingredients are used. They give you bread with this delicious infused olive oil in the beginning. The appetizers were a little small, but the entrees were reasonably sized. Any pizza or pasta dish here is gonna be killer, it's really just a matter of your taste. Ti voglio bene means I love you, if you like great Italian food you'll definitely love this place. Nothing but top notch quality for everything.

P P.

Yelp
Went the other night with my fiancè for the first time for dinner... food was really good!!! The pens all a no idk a was delicious highly recommend and the steak was also fantastic cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. Our only compliment was we were not a fan of the Cesar salad it had a potent fishy taste which now Cesar dressing is made with anchovies but the dressing tasted mostly like fish... maybe just our preference. Overall we were satisfied customers and will be back!

Eric F.

Yelp
Trendy and classic italian spot. Food is always hot and fresh. They make a great penne vodka with chicken cutlet. My go to fave. Meatball starters are yummy as well. Never have a complaint here.

Sarah M.

Yelp
This place was pretty solid. I ordered the carbonara, which I've had better, but not bad. My brother got the vodka sauce and it was good. I had the lemon basil martini and it was alright. We all ordered espresso martinis, which, unfortunately, was not good at all. The tiramisu was delicious. The service was quick. Very busy on a Saturday night. Luckily, we had a reservation. Overall, I'd still recommend.

Jessica L.

Yelp
Saw this place as part of bib gourmand article and this place certainly disappointed. Food was very salty. Could not enjoy.

Andrew S.

Yelp
I was looking forward to eating here greatly after hearing all the rave reviews about the food but wasn't overly impressed I must say unfortunately. I have to admit I went to dinner at this restaurant with VERY high expectations. I couldn't wait to have fresh made pasta, perhaps I ordered wrong because everyone else at my table loved their dishes. I got the -- SPAGHETTI CHITARRA ALLE VONGOLE --clams, white wine, garlic, evoo and the clams were so so tiny they were almost microscopic and many of the shells were empty. I was looking forward to having nice full clams in a delicious sauce. The spaghetti itself was good but was nothing overly special-it was quite bland actually...the service while being attentive seemed to want to rush us out although the place was not very crowded on a Friday night. We started with a regular pizza for the table to split which was good but again not as special as I was hoping based on the reviews. I would absolutely give this place another try in the future and try ordering another dish. The pricing is very fair as well which is nice compared to many restaurants in the area. The atmosphere and layout of the restaurant I really liked and the décor is great as well. The fact they make all their pasta from scratch is amazing and something you cannot find many other places-especially in Westchester!

Amy P.

Yelp
Went to lunch there for the first time. I had a reservation to sit outside in the back at the umbrella picnic tables. Our waiter was very nice and accommodating, since I changed the number in our party several times. We started off with cocktails, and then ordered lunch. My lemon basil martini was fabulous, very cold and refreshing. For entrées, we ordered the chicken Parmesan, spaghetti carbonara, pasta bolognese and the Branzino. The chicken Parm was pounded thin nicely butterflied and very crisp. It was quite delicious. The homemade pasta carbonara was creamy and excellent, as well as the penne Bolognese. I didn't taste the Branzino, but my friend said it was perfectly cooked. Our server, Luciano, was extremely efficient, friendly, and very nice. Overall, it was a wonderful lunch and the pasta was fabulous! I will be going back soon for dinner.

Baron H.

Yelp
Best Italian in the states! Owners are on-site and absolutely terrific! Staff are great and owners are attentive, considerate and on top of it! It's truly one of my favorite restaurants!!

R O.

Yelp
Food at this cozy restaurant is always excellent with service that cares. The owner(s) definitely care.

Andrew I.

Yelp
I have loved coming here since the original location. Bonus of the new location, is there are two entrances now. The rear entrance leads into the parking lot with plenty of spots. I have been here many times, but this is my first review. Charming and fun. Definitely a great date night or a family dinner night. Chef Christian is an artist when it comes to preparing and serving the food. The owners and entire staff are a pleasure to speak with. My most recent visit was for dessert. We got one each of the Bombolino and a crema caffe to share. As good as it was, I would not suggest getting the crema caffe to close to bed. Had an issue falling asleep. The cannoli cream Bombolino was warm and the outside, creamy on the inside. My favorite was the Nutella. Delicious and gooey. You can never go wrong with Nutella. Inside a Bombolino is an out of body experience. Looking forward to going back soon. Five stars! No pasta, no party.

James H.

Yelp
Best pasta in White Plains. I am so glad that I went to Via Garibaldi (extremely disappointing food) prior to writing this review because the perspective increased my appreciation for the value this pasta and pizza place offers. Reasonably priced, very good fresh pasta, with sturdy basic sauces; these are the backbone of the menu. The pizza is also very good, prepared in one of the styles frequently found in Rome (crispy crust, not the thick squares). Portions are huge and the service is great. Nothing unforgettable, pretty casual, and I'd stick to what they're good at if you go (skip the appetizers).

Pam D.

Yelp
I would go back to Pax Roana in a heartbeat if they figured out how to heat the restaurant in winter. We were seated at a table towards the front. I had to wear my full length down coat during our whole visit.

Noel W.

Yelp
Had been wanting to try this place for a while and after reading all of the great reviews here and on Facebook I had high hopes --- it did not disappoint! While we really enjoyed the creamy Burrata and fresh tomato app, along with the diavola pizza, the pasta was no doubt, the highlight of the evening. Big portions of perfectly cooked homemade pasta! We LOVED the cacio e pepe and the fettuccine in a light cream sauce with mushrooms and prosciutto. Service was spot on and it all added up to an A+++ evening all the way around!

Nicole B.

Yelp
Service and ambiance were good but food was mediocre. Calamari appetizer was very small for the price. Pasta was pretty bland. Cheesecake was crumbly and dry. Not the place for good italian.

Brendan T.

Yelp
A Westchester treasure. Top-tier updated Italian American in the urban core of White Plains, a heavy go-to of mine whenever in the area. The Penne Alla Vodka, as well as the Cavatelli are amongst the best I've ever had anywhere, let alone somewhere this far out on the periphery of the Metro. Regardless of which of the house made pasta you select you can count on it being perfectly prepared with the perfect al dente snap. Bonus props for the tasty house red on draft. Really can't say a bad word about this place.

Louise F.

Yelp
The lure of a big wine pours during happy hour (advertised on our local news channel interview with owner) drew me to Pax Romana this week for dinner with a friend. I arrived ahead of schedule so sat and bar to sip a glass of wine. Wine is $5 during happy hour but there is only one choice and this evening it was a Cabernet. I really wanted white wine but during happy hour there is just the one option as a draft wine of the day. The pour was generous. Once my friend arrived, we sat down to dine. The restaurant is long rather than wide, with a convenient entrance/exit in the back leading to a municipal lot. We both managed to get street parking in front of restaurant where the main entrance is. Warm sliced italian bread with a nice tomato infused olive oil was delivered to the table while we looked over the menu. Waitress, bus boys were attentive without being overbearing. Open kitchen although the divider is high so you don't see much more than perhaps the shoulders of the chefs. Hearing their pasta is homemade it seemed the logical choice for us. My fettucini with porcini mushrooms, smoked proscuitto in a cream sauce and my friends potato gnocchi sorrentina in tomato sauce, mozzarella and basil were both very good. The pasta portions were large and I'm not complaining. Too much for us to eat in one sitting so happily we both brought home dinner for another meal. We split the mesclun salad which again was large and easily feed the two of us. The raspberry vinaigrette which just ok. I wasn't a fan of the salad but I don't particularly like strawberries in my salad nor that type of vinaigrette. In hindsight, I should have paid closer attention to my friend's salad suggestion. We ended the meal with a cannoli stuffed donut they call a Bombolini. I would suggest getting one each and not sharing as it's not very big so splitting in half maybe yielded us a couple bites each. I wasn't impressed with the donut. The filling was good but the donut itself wasn't the freshest. Price wise though, $5 was a good deal if it wasn't bordering on the stale side. All in all, it was a good meal.

Yelp
Their gluten free pasta is amazing! My fiancé has to eat gluten free so this is one of our go to spots. The pasta doesn't even taste like it's gluten free. We normally get the penne vodka.

Yelp
This is, hands down, my favorite Italian place! And, I don't even like pasta! The pasta is super fresh here. You can watch them make it and sign up to take pasta making classes here. I can't wait to try them! Every time I'm here I always get the cavatelli. It's my favorite! I've tried other options off of the menu and shared entrees with friends - but, the cavatelli is definitely my favorite! I love the fresh pasta, broccoli and sausage! The portion size is perfect, just enough for left overs, too. I'll definitely be back here again soon!

Yelp
Fantastic! Heard about this and finally got here. They don't take reservations so you may have to wait. We were lucky enough to get 4 seats at the bar which was a plus as we got to interact with Paul the owner. This is a gem and a kickass bartender to boot. Also got acquainted with a lovely firecracker of a server named Lexi. Food was delicious but there is a little secret here, it's called Crema Cafe. It's the Italian version of a Wendy's frosty and it will blow you away! Don't miss this place it's good.

Yelp
Met some friends here, couldn't get a reservation, so we had to sit by the bar. Turned out to be a Great experience. The owner/bartender Paul was great. Very personable. The service was amazing. We started w the buratta, fried calamari and the fried olives. We ordered Pastas of course! All homemade in house. Some of the dishes we had were Ravioli, cace Pepe, carbonara and vongole. Everything was cooked perfectly. Nice portions and great flavor. Drinks were excellent too. The Donut?? A must try. We will definitely be back here.

Yelp
Great food. The Carbonara was as it should be: creamy (without cream), salty with the flavor of guiancale (or pancetta???) coming through nicely and right in all ways. Except for my taste, I'd like it even more if the pasta had been more al dente, as it would in Rome. Very, very happy with this dish, which I deliberately seek out. Also loved the deep fried, stuffed olives that were salty and tangy. The meatballs in tomato sauce were very homey; I wanted to make them into a sandwich for lunch. The menu is pasta-heavy, which is just fine. My friend had the cavatelli with sausage and broccoli raab, which was delicious, the raab was still bitter and the pasta was a bit more al dente to my liking. I will go back often.

Yelp
Came here one more time. Food is great and service are wonderful but, the restaurant need to work on sewage smell. As soon as I walked in the some weird smell I noted. That is same issue I noted at Hudson Grill restaurant located in few blocks away from here.

Yelp
This place has to be my favorite Italian spot in White Plains. When it comes to pizza, pasta, and appetizers, you won't be disappointed! The portions are also huge: you will need a to go box after your meal! The service is great and the waiters are very attentive. Drinks are also a must here!

Yelp
Auntie-In-Law is the only matriarch in hubby's family and he likes to shower her with some of the finer things in life. They planned to hook up for Lunch on his day off and I instantly thought: City Limits- but she's been there already. Francesco's (old-school, low-key)- didn't make the cut either. So he asked me the night before, "where should I take Titi?" I ran down the list: (all classy for White Plains mind you) but in hubby's mind, Lilly's didn't make the cut or Hudson Grille or KEE (very classy- but for Lunch, hubby wanted to keep it reasonable). Then I said, "why don't you just take her to Pax?" (Now mind you...I've never been). [So I'm basing my review off hubby's Lunch experience with Auntie-In-Law- without me even being there and a Take Out order he brought for me]. I've had Pax mentally bookmarked ever since they came to White Plains in 2016 and set up shop at their old spot where Z Prime is presently located. Hubby-who doesn't Yelp, said Pax is super nice and gave them the two thumbs up. Decor? Couldn't even lie to you because I wasn't there. Service? Don't know that either- then again...didn't hear any complaints from my husband! But my take out order you asked? Jesus help me please!!! My Fettuccine & Porcini with Cream was mind-blowing and still warm when it got home. Cream was Velvety smooth. Porcinis you also asked??? Earthy. Fresh and complemented the overall dish beautifully... without the prosciutto. Too generous with a 5- without me even being there? Yeah...It took me there- because it was that awesome! But until next time...when I'm there in the flesh.
