This place is dangerously good! On a whim, we decided to try it out. The treats look just as good as the pictures, and honestly taste even better than you can imagine. First bite was the pinwheel brownie - chocolate was exceptional and marshmallow was so fluffy! Plan on getting a sample of a few different things when you go - because deciding is difficult! Staff was also so friendly and helpful. We’re happy to answer questions and understanding when decision making time was needed. Would *highly* recommend!

Twisted Cookie is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. Owner Joana is very nice. The bakery is in good condition. Amazing cookie cupcake. Must come back. 10/10.

I tried the turtle brownie, berry cookie, and chocolate banana milkshake — and wow, everything was amazing! I’m a huge brownie lover, and these were next-level delicious. I’ll definitely be ordering again I would give 10 stars if I could. try this place you will not be disappointed!

Twisted Cookie has the right ingredients to make visits memorable and family time, sweet. The neighborhood spot serves up fresh baked goods, soft serve ice cream, shakes and Twisted Cookie's take on a parfait... The Twirl. The quality and selection of milkshakes are amazing. We tried the Cookie Monster, Ube Shake and a Brownie Twirl. All had their own unique baked treat added and were deliciously devoured. The Brownie Twirl had brownie bites mashed between chocolate syrup and soft serve. Brownie lovers .. allthough dunked in soft serve the brownie were quite good. I would think stellar with Brownie Ends. With a menu, tastes and affordable options it's going to be hard to stay away. Really happy to experience The Twisted Cookie staff taking pride in the quality selection as well. The atmosphere at Twisted Cookie is only due to lack of seating options for families of four or more. Even a large slab that sits 8-10 would be a welcome addition IMO.

I love Twisted Cookie. The milkshakes are amazing. Last week I had the hot chocolate with homemade torched marshmallows. Delicious. I just wish the hot chocolate had a little more chocolate flavor or syrup. It was good still. I have to discipline myself to stay away it's sooo good. The staff is friendly as well.

This spot is so cute with a clean, quaint aesthetic that feels both cozy and modern. The dessert menu is stacked with options: brownies, cookies, shakes, ice cream, even apple pie—and here's the kicker: you can make any of them a la mode with your choice of vanilla, chocolate, or the chocolate swirl (highly recommend the swirl if you're feeling indecisive). The self-service option for ordering was also convenient. Everything tasted fresh and indulgent without being over-the-top sweet. It's clear they put thought into every item on the menu. I ordered 4 cookies to-go, an iced latte, and a cookie monster a-la mode as a gift. The treats come individually wrapped and fridge temperature which is great for extended freshness. They also give you the option to warm them up if desired. All of the flavors were great, but the Apple Pie Cookie was my favorite! Street parking was surprisingly easy, but I did go around 9PM and am not familiar with the area, so I'm uncertain what parking would look like at other times. If you're in the area (or even if you're not), this place is absolutely worth a stop. Whether you're craving something warm and gooey or cold and creamy, Twisted Cooking delivers.

This bakery is unfair located next door to the model train restaurant. :-). Excellent cookies, great good humored staff and fair prices.

Excellent!! I had the smores sundae, my wife had the strawberry shortcake swirl, my daughter had a coated brownie with vanilla ice cream on top. It was really good! We are picky dessert people, these 3 were all rave review worthy. Will definitely revisit when back in Chicago!

Twisted Cookie has it all - cookies, brownies, shakes, coffee and more. The variety is vast, from classic cookies, to cupcakes, to brownies - those are just a few of their offerings. My personal favorite are their cookie pies, especially the triple berry. This place is popular so it's nice that if you're in a rush you can order ahead online for pickup or have it delivered. I was pleasantly surprised to find out they're open much later than you'd expect, til 10PM and 10:30PM in the summer. It's very easy to support this business when they offer such top-notch treats and service. The bonus is that it's owned by an amazing woman, Joana, who will often find in her store helping customers or in back making her tasty desserts.

I love this place way too much lol the pie cookies have a hold on me. They're amazing! With a little ice cream on top and warmed up (which they offer) is just *chef's kiss* Also the cheesecake cookies. Amazing. Everyone here is so nice too

First things first, round of applause for our Latina woman owned establishment in forest park! Sis did that. This is not your average sugar factory, candy shop. No - the owner surpasses where your mind can go when you think of a sweet tooth. She took sweets and upped the level by 1000. From sundaes, milkshakes, cookies to cupcakes, she had it all. I choose to get the chocolate chip cheesecake cookie. Yes you read that right - all in one. Told you sis is creative. I paid close to $4.00 including tax for one decently sized cookie and I believe it was worth it. In every bite, you got exactly what you were supposed too. I'd definitely return. Should you find yourself in the area or see this on social media, MAKE. THAT. MOVE.

I still haven't tried their shakes. I love this place! I never just buy one cookie; even with the $5 price tag. I love that it is woman own! So many wonderful desserts. I always get the lemon butter cookie. My recommendation is to try something different every time you visit. It is a must!

I was pleased with The Twisted Cookie. I ordered a coffee, and 2 cookies. Everything was very good. The bakery did not look that clean to me. The lady who took my order and a little chit chat was nice. I may stop again but as a carry out. Peter K.

I kept seeing posts about this on social media so I had to check it out. Its a cozy spot with different types of cookies, ice cream sundaes, shakes, and even frozen lemonade. I ordered a turtle cupcake cookie, an apple pie cookie and a pecan pie cookie. They offered to warm the apple and pecan pie cookies and you can get them ala mode. Since I wasn't eating them right away I didn't get them warmed. I ate the turtle cupcake cookie first. I failed to take a picture before devouring it but it was very good. The apple pie and pecan pie cookies were fantastic! They gave you a taste of pie in a cookie form. I warmed the apple pie cooke and had it with vanilla ice cream which was really good! I'll definitely be returning to try more items and to get more pie cookies.

(giving an extra star because the staff is very nice and patient) I went with my partner and got 2 cupcake cookies, a milkshake and vanilla soft serve. I was really excited about the idea of a cupcake cookie but realized it's not the type of dessert for me. If you're really into cookies and icing, you'll probably love it! The cookies are between soft and firm, kind of thin and have a helpful amount of icing on top. They're kind of expensive in my personal opinion, but if you like them, maybe they're worth the cost? The milkshake and soft serve were okay, nothing really stood out. I probably won't come back because there wasn't anything else I wanted to try BUT I would suggest checking out this bakery at least once!! Maybe you'll love the cupcake cookies?! Parking was very easy, there are plenty of street parking options and it was only a quick walk over.

I ordered 3 of the pecan pie cookies, and 2 butter cookies, from twisted cookie. Today, a few minutes ago, I bit into a pecan pie cookie. I am in love. This cookie tqates just like a small pecan pie, it's sp gpod, so tasty. This will be my new cookie store for the pecan pie cookies. I was craving pecan cookies and I couldn't find any pecan pies, i'm so glad I found them on ubereats. New happy fan. The butter cookie was good, I love the pecan pie cookie.b

I actually think this place has the best milkshakes in town. Great idea to go there. If you're looking to blow a diet or have a truly epic treat. The cookies are decent, the amount of time you'll spend waiting for a milkshake is... Inconsistent. but it will taste really good. The last couple times I was there, they were playing some kind of Internet radio station that kept cutting out, which would've driven me completely insane if I worked there. But that has nothing to do with the food. The desserts are pretty darn good.

Sooo cute!! Vintage ice cream parlor vibe. Can't wait to come back in the summer and try one of the milk shakes. The cookies are like cake and cookie. Delicious!!

Beautiful dessert cafe! So many options I didn't know what to choose. My daughter had the mixed soft serve on a cone and I had the apple pie cookie a La mode with Carmel drizzled ice cream. The cookie was warm and so soft it melted in my mouth. There's a few small tables outside that is where we enjoyed our dessert

The staff were helpful and friendly. The turtle sundae was huge. The brownie is dipped in chocolate and then topped with ice cream, whipped cream with caramel and fudge sauce. It was good!

This place is always such a treat! And today I needed a serious pick me up. The turtle brownie sundae is soooo decadent! I had mine made with chocolate soft serve and hot fudge, and it definitely hit the spot. I keep meaning to try the twirls, but this sundae is always calling me. The staff is super friendly, and the cookie sundaes are a hit for a gift or a party! Can't go wrong here, and I'm glad they're so close to me!

The cookies are decent, but did not really stand out In flavor. Would eat them again, but not make a special trip.

Guilty Pleasure in Forest Park. My sweet tooth brings me here for a cookie, but I always leave with 3 or 4. That Oreo cheesecake cookie is awesome. Apple pie cookie is also a go to. There is nothing bad here, well they're cookies so not healthy, but you know what I mean.... Check 'em out. Friendly staff, nice vibes, good sweets!

Open on Sundays!! I didn't realize so many bakeries are closed on Sundays, until I needed to make a surprise delivery of baked treats this Sunday morning. Thankfully, I'd heard about Twisted Cookie through a new program called "Takeout 25 Oak Park" whose aim is to increase spending at Oak Park (and adjacent towns) restaurants and bakeries, in order to help businesses survive the COVID crisis. We each commit to spending at least $25 a week on take-out and/or delivery. Then we post photos of our purchases in the Facebook group. The photos from this place looked so good!! I had no problem finding $25+ in fresh-baked cookies at Twisted Cookie!! I took a photo of the 4 remaining cookies, but there were 10 on the plate at the start. They were each quickly claimed and eaten! I also picked up a pound of Philosophy coffee beans. They also sell soft serve ice cream, shakes, and malts! The staff was super nice. COVID precautions are in place and carefully observed by all. Street parking was a breeze. I will definitely be back. What a cool shop!!

AMAZING!!! I have a killer sweet tooth and let me tell you Twisted Cookie delivers the goods!!!! Not only is there a tremendous selection everything is absolutely delicious. My son and I each had shakes and then an extra to go goody and literally nothing negative to say. So delicious. Will be going back soon

Don't order from them on Grubhub!! They don't stay on top of their orders it will be late and not worth your time. Plenty of other places that care about their customers. This isn't one of those places.

What a delightful find. Kinda frustrated from having bad Italian food in the neighborhood, my son and I were looking for dessert. Nothing heavy. He recommended this place. We were greeted by this lady whose name I don't remember but that was an amazing host. You could tell she liked in there. She knew her cookies back and forth and boy her recommendation were spot on. We ordered a key lime cookie and a chocolate banana. These cookies are more like cupcakes and are quite complex to make. Many layers of flavors and more than anything, absolutely delicious. So much so that I went back and bought two more to go. A raspberry-peanut butter and a red velvet. Needless to say excellent. We were treated so well by the lady that I asked for the owner, to tell her how pleased we were. She was in the store and she was as nice as the store clerk. I really recommend this place. It's unique, different and I will be back, many times.

Took a walk around the area with my pup and saw this place. A cute little nook and a nice treat to have during this heatwave. Just when I thought I knew what I wanted only to discover more selections. Either way, plenty to choose from. Just depends on what your palate wants. Staff was very patient especially when I couldn't decide and friendly. Street parking available and located in the heart of downtown Forest Park. Will definitely have to go back to try other flavors!

Stumbled on this place by mistake . Ordered a the salted caramel brownie. They asked if I wanted it warm, I declined because I had a long trip home. Warmed it up later that evening and hands down Best brownie I've had in my entire life.

This place is so clean and smells amazing, the share are good and the root beer floats are pretty awesome

When I order cookies from a business, I don't expect to receive cold cookies. While they state on the box that this done done to preserve freshness, it's a complete disappointment to have to warm them up in a microwave. If Insomnia can do it, and have a better product.... As for the cookie quality, 6/10. Nothing to write home about and unfortunately the box has been sitting half empty on the counter all weekend.

This was our first visit to The Twisted Cookie. The bakery was is so cute. We ordered the lemon butter cookie, the Nutella cookie, the snickers cookie, the Oreo cookies and cream, and the cinnamon roll cookie. These cookies were delicious and I loved that they offered to warm the cookies for us. We arrived close to closing time and the staff were very patient with us. I hope to try one of their milkshakes on another visit. I'd definitely try the place when visiting the Chicago, Forest Lake area!

The cookies are pretty good and the staff was fun and friendly. It's a good stop yo try something new but I probably wouldn't go multiple times if I lived there.

This has become our new go-to spot whenever the sweet tooth hankerings kick in. The cookies, pies, brownies...All Delish! They have some unique flavor combos that work really well, but the classic offerings are done well too. Try them once and you'll be back.

A Hidden Cute Cookie Café located in downtown Forest Park. TCC was featured on Chicago's Best WGN Friendly customer service and many assorted cookies, brownies and other delicious goodies. A nice lady told me that their products are freshly baked in the café daily. You can experience and watch the process inside the shop. She also put a buzz in my ear that a Twisted Cookie Café is coming soon in the Downtown Chicago (Thompson Center). You can come and enjoy anything from the espresso bar, creative flavors of milkshakes and sundaes. If your ever in Forest Park and have a sweet cheat day this is the place to visit. The display and smell of sweetness will have your mouth watering.

During this global quarantine, I have found pleasure in giving by leveraging food service delivery from local places. Recently I wanted to send a member of my team something sweet as a pick me up after a hard day of work. Landed on Twisted Cookie by chance really, via Grub Hub. Little did I know at the time he loved this place. Ordered half a dozen cookies... churro, salted caramel, birthday cake, red velvet and chocolate. Tried to get the PB&J, but they were out so double churro it was. He LOVED them! He shared that the property he lived at had recently bought cookies for all the residents from this joint and he was a fan. Thanks Twisted Cookie for helping me brighten someone's day!

We've love this place. Cookies are pretty good. Ordered six cookies tonight. Three were delivered. The person I spoke with said there was a new employee who read the order wrong. The only solution they offered was a refund on the three cookies that were not packed and I could reorder (and pay another service & delivery fee as well as another tip - which equals the cost of three cookies). Disappointing. They seem like kind people, but this is the kind of thing that's costs you customers. As a business owner I would have been in my car delivering six cookies.

Twisted Cookie was perfect when I needed a quick, delicious birthday delivery in October. Loved the cookie pies and the cupcakes! It was also packaged nicely. I would defiantly visit again!

I've passed by this place many times and have always heard great things about them... well, I finally gave in and placed my delivery order. I am PLEASED!!! These are delicious and flavorful. I am definitely now a HUGE fan!! I will be placing more orders and stopping by to try all of the other items, that's for sure! Thanks for your business

They have cookies that taste like pie, the cupcake cookies are my favorite BUT they have these whoopie cookies ... OMG !!! 3 flavors & any explanation here would do it no justice. It's this amazing flavorful vanilla creamy goodness sandwiched between these two chewy, almost brownie-like but not heavy, cookies...but not like regular cookies. Just try them !!! You will die!!! The treats here are not over sweet, you can really taste the flavors .. the REAL ingredients. The actual storefront is so quaint and the service is always professional and so friendly. These guys never disappoint.

I give this little place 5 stars and I haven't even tasted the food yet! This place is on the busy yet quaint main stretch of Madison Ave. in Forest Park and it is ADORABLE! It is definitely a sweet fix destination spot! I like the fact they are doing different stuff with dessert and doing dessert mashups like cupcake cookies, pie cookies, stuffed and dipped brownies and all types of crazy fun milk shake combinations! The price point was good for something that is unique and different, so I thank you for that and the space is so fun, contemporary and cute! Will have to try a milkshake at some point! Today I picked up a pecan pie cookie and a birthday cake cookie cupcake. Stay tuned to how they taste!

Twisted Cookie...wow. Simply awesome. A Madison Street staple that everyone needs to get out there and try. It's located right off Madison Street and there is ample street parking. It's also very easy to get to by public transportation. The decor is really good. There is quite a bit of seating and plenty of chairs to go around. The employees ROCK and treat the customers really well. They are friendly, courteous and polite. Definitely a plus to coming here. Now on to the important stuff... the cookies and baked goods. I could use a ton of adjectives and fancy words, but will stick to a timeless classic, GREAT!!!!!!! Tons of flavor, they taste great and the price is on point and fair. We love the the dipped brownie and the chocolate chip cookies. They are great and I highly recommend them. Their coffee is also extremely underrated and I'd suggest trying a cup. Go here, awesome cookies increase happiness!!!!

Im addicted to the cookies with cream cheese frosting in between and caramel on top. It tastes like a mix between eating cookies and a slice of cheesecake. They also have a cookie mixed with an apple pie which was also very good. I tried to have one bite but ended up eating the whole thing. They also offer chocolate brownies and ice cream if you don't want cookies.

So I stepped into the place accidentally when looking to go into the restaurant next door. So after I finished, I decided to take a look at this cookie place and discovered they had shakes and malts - chocolate malt specifically, which I was in the mood for having. So I ordered that along with a chocolate chip cookie and an apple pie cookie to take home. WOW... the chocolate malt has got to be one of the three best I've had in my lifetime and I can't even tell you where I had the other two. I've never had a malt with the kind of awesome flavor this one had - it was soooo good. The cookies were outstanding as well - nice to have a new "go-to" place for sweets like this. What a great "accidental" discovery.

Wow! What a fantastic business operator and provider of delicious cookies. Very clever and tasty cookie options. We stopped in last Friday morning and were treated to a warm reception and a promise of delicious treats for our family dinner that evening. We were delightfully satisfied and will be going back next time we are in town.

Sorry this was a total fail for me. Service was horrible and although the pictures look great and tempting they are a bit deceiving. First time and last time there. Banana split twist was basically a milkshake by the time I got it. They forgot two of the 6 things we ordered being the easiest things to serve an ice cream cone and a sundae how disappointing. Apple pie cookie was the best thing we had.

Received a gift tray of cookie cupcakes. Looked beautiful, but lacking in flavor. The cookie that was sandwich between filling was plain. I was totally disappointed because they looked so good. There are better options for baked goods in the area.

Well I came here with a sweet tooth. They delivered. I have now walked out with a few new cavities but it was well worth it. Try their cheesecake cookies and milkshakes. Will be back for sure to try the other things I have still yet to try.

This is such a nice shop! The people working there were very nice and answered all of my questions about the different options. They let me know that they're known for their pie cookies which are a combination of both desserts. They sounded awesome and were not a bad price at all for $3 each. We got the triple berry cookie pie which tasted great! To be honest, it was more like a mini pie in the shape and size of a large cookie than a fusion but it was still very good. The berry was tart, the crumble on top was tasty, and the entire thing came together well. I would definitely come back to try a few other desserts!

Oh my this place is RIDICULOUS!!! Everything is phenomenal. My cousin and I visited Twisted Cookie after buying healthy things at the Oak Park Farmers Market. I had a Unicorn Milkshake - yes that's right a Unicorn Milkshake - they exist! So delicious and pretty! My cousin had a salted caramel, ice cream, brownie thing that was sooooo good. The brownie was served warm. I also purchased a bag of "brownie ends" and a Nutella stuffed cookie. If loving this place is wrong, I don't want to be right. Every single item I purchased was beyond good. You are going to spend around $8 for a milkshake, but when you get the Art in milkshake form you'll understand why. The owners are also super nice and obviously completely in love with what they do - they really seem to enjoy their work. If you are in Forest Park and are not counting calories - I highly recommend a visit.

The cupcake cookies are smaller sized and so pretty and festive, just right for individual servings at a kids party. My granddaughter said of the raspberry chocolate, "It's so delicious!" I like the cream cheese centers keeping them from being too sweet! We also tried the pie cookies and they are also heavenly!
