Exceptional Service. Had a signature dish. Chicken Thigh Chops with mushroom risotto. I include a picture of the presentation which was amazing but it tasted even better than it looked. Perfectly seasoned and juicy. They used bacon to wrap the asparagus.🤤

We had our company holiday lunch, everything was excellent specially the Grand Marnier" Soufflé, Orange Marmalade for dessert! ⭐️ ✨ ⭐️

Very elegant flavor and thoughtful cuisine🍴. The tuna tartare was delightful and very fresh. The French onion soup is a must-have. I'm glad I have great cuisine so close to my area. The bar also had excellent, well-made drinks.

Went here for lunch. I ordered the lump crab cakes, meat loaf and tea. The meat loaf has asparagus in the middle. The crab cakes came with another great. I will have to check the menu. It was quiet at lunch. The atmosphere looked good the ambiance is definitely more geared to dinner time. Will need to check if they have a dinner menu. I do recommend

We did Miami Spice. It was a great experience, though we all ate too much. Portions are very generous. Service superb. Will be back!

Wow I’ve always wanted to eat at this place called Two Chefs but never made it there finally my wife and I made it there this place is amazing from the time I walked in and was greeted by the maître d’ everything was superb Everything from the shrimp cocktail to the salad to the New York strip on believable all the food was flavorful tender and delicious if you’re in Broward it’s worth the drive you can make it there in 30 minutes don’t miss out on this wonderful dining room and wonderful food experience this place also has cooking classes and special events look them up on the web and see what this place is all about from one foodie to another

We did the cooking class with a group of 35 and it was amazing.I got to cook pizza which is awesome cause I love pizza and never cooked it in a restaurant even though I grew up working in Italian restaurants. we saw other guest cookings lots of other delicious foods too. Such a memorable experience and we loved it. Food was incredible and wait staff just perfect. This is a must do as a couple or group of friends and fam...

I was surprised at how nice the place was. You can't tell from the outside. The food was great but the souffles were amazing. They offer cooking classes as well which seems like a good experience.

I've dined here twice, both times for a work related function and both times the meal was excellent.the three course meal portions are just right for a light, but satisfying lunch. This time around I had the tuna tartare(excellent) and the Bronzino, which was cooked to perfection. I packed the dessert to go since I'm trying to stick to my diet, but the rest of the party raved about the chocolate soufflé. I'll definitely return one day with the family!

This is two reviews at once having been there in August and again last Saturday 9/16. Had to return soon besides being an enjoyable place, their Miami Spice is one of the best if not the best. Most of their menu is on the Spice selections including their fabulous dessert souffles. For instance had the meatloaf special main dish which is always fanatastic, and the shrimp pasta. Came back and again repeated the sauteed shrimp pasta, and tried the seared tuna entree. Was extremely impressed with the seared tuna in presentation and definitely in taste. Came with a very unique hash browns that was great. Actually the combination was both unique and just great. And of couse finished with a pistachio souffle and a grand marnier one. Best souffles around. Only thing is think their AC could use a boost somehow, place can be a bit uncomfortable when full in our Miami heat.

A group of ten of us arrived for a special occasion. I have to admit that part of the appeal for the event planners was a bit of spending damage control, as there is an option to select a 3-course meal for $48. Not everyone stuck to the plan, of course, but it helped overall from rash over-ordering, TwoChefs is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking, so was convenient for all. You walk right into the bar area. The bartender was quick to serve and very pleasant to our group, starting the evening off right. We eventually made it overnto our table. The decor wasn't particularly special, but the white tablecloths amped up the overall ambiance. There was not a single complaint from anyone! At the end of the night. Special mentions went to the crab cake appetizer, which was an upcharge from the special--even the two from Maryland gave their stamp of approval. Several got the baked onion soup which was deliciously cheesy, and the classic Caesar salad was a pleaser. For the mains, the sautéed shrimp fettuccine got the most hits. The shrimp were large and tender. The seared tuna was several with a flavorful couscous and the sun dried tomatoes gave it the perfect touch. Two got the mixed Asopao and declared it a hit. The chicken beast with bacon, onion and feta normally comes with fingerling potatoes, but our Keto girl was able to swap them out for fresh vegetables and she was very happy. I personally had the Two Chefs meatloaf and mashed potatoes. I am just now noting that I didn't see any black bean BBQ, and the dish came with asparagus, which is isn't noted on the menu. Despite this glitch, the meal was truly comfort food at its best. I noticed so many of the group complimenting the food to the waiter as he cleared away plates. The only "just okay" dish was my husbands NY strip, which had a $15 upcharge on the 3-course special. His advise was go to a steakhouse for steak. Anyway, every single one of us got a Grand Mariner, Chocolate, or Pistachio soufflé with crème anglaise. They were an awesome perfection. It's not often that you can truly please everyone in a large group, but I'm rating Two Chefs with 5 stars because the chefs accomplished the task with praise.

If you want a small, quiet, casual elegant restaurant with very good food at a reasonable price this is it in South Miami. The food is consistently good. The branzino was excellent. I love a crisp skin on my fish and however it was seasoned was delicious. Served on top of a small tomato salad which was a nice contrast. Of course, I ordered my all time favorite side dish potato croquettes. Their menu is not extensive, nor has it changed much over the years. But we never lack for something different each time and we have never been disappointed with our meal. The service can be slow because it is small restaurant, so enjoy your wine or cocktail. It has to be among my favorites because it is a place I can relax and have a good meal.

We have been coming to Two Chefs for years. The cocktails are fantastic and the food is always on point. They have been around for at least 20 years so that says something, especially in Miami. They serve the best soufflés in Miami and with Miami Spice going on it's a great time to go if you have never been to Two Chefs. The restaurant is located in a strip mall off US1 and has lots of parking.

We used to enjoy going to Two Chefs but had not been there in some time. Tonight was disappointing. The service was mediocre. The food was inconsistent- some dishes at our table good and and least one- my wife's hamburger unacceptable. It came out undercooked and cold. Either we were charged incorrectly for the Cesar salad - given a small and charged for a large- or their large Cesar salad is very undersized for the price. A few times during the meal we had to ask for our waiter to be sent over to either correct something or to bring something we had requested. Finally, when the check came, it was incorrect.

I know this place has been around for years. I had been there, but several years ago. We went for Miami Spice. Our reservation was at 6:30and we left at 9! We were literally the only table seated when we arrived. We watched two groups come in after us and leave before we did. We all looked at the menu provided on the website and much to our surprise , several of the entrees now had up charges! Typically when you are a MS restaurant what is advertised ,you get. The food was good but not worth the wait and unexpected up charges. Lots of other places to try. I suggest you do.

The food and drinks were spectacular. Nice and quiet. Great for privacy and conversation. We had NY Strip w/mashed potatoes and Pork Chop w/mushroom risotto. The white table linens are a nice touch. Our waiter "Ariel" was very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. Why anyone gave Two Chefs below five stars is beyond me.

Two Chefs is an amazing small boutique restaurant that has been serving S Miami for many years. We recently dined there with two couples and had great food and conversation. The meal was elegant and we didn't feel rushed.

Romantic, decadent, delicious, and a beautiful experience. Beautiful double date experience here at Two Chefs and can't wait to repeat it. The service at this restaurant is on point. The gourmet food is truly outstanding. Everything we ordered just blew us away. A couple of favorites were the scrumptious meatloaf and the mushroom risotto. The soufflés really topped off an amazing meal. Although they are not gluten free I tasted my husband's Grand Marnier and my friend's Pistachio. Bout were a delicious treat.

Biggest let down. I felt as if we were dining on a cruise. The service was fine and the reservation process was fine as well. However, the food was very tasteless, it was absurd that some of the dishes cost $38+, because it was not worth it. The only reason we heard about it was because of Miami Spice and I'm really confused why it's on there, as there was no flavor on any of our dishes. We started with the onion soup and crab cakes, it was mediocre. The crab cakes were lathered with aioli. For entrees we order they Atlantic salmon which is supposed to be one of their best dishes and the meatloaf. Both were terribly tasteless. They both were cooked properly but the lack is seasoning was unreal. To the point that the soufflés felt like if they just made it from the easy bake oven from the early 2000s. I had one so I would know. Honestly maybe they need a third chef, because this two chefs restaurant definitely a no go, unless you like cruise food / tasteless food. Hey if you have covid and can't taste, you're not missing out. Lol Just kidding, please stay safe and wear your mask!

Food was amazing! Miami Spice Menu was very good giving many options for the value. We will come on a regular basis. Service was excellent and making a reservation was very easy. The ambiance is very elegant and easy to park. Highly recommend

From someone who has been to many amazing restaurants all over the world, I must say, ONE OF THE BEST! Shake the chefs hand and thank him type of way. The food has PASSION. I can tell that the chefs here absolutely love what they do! Cozy, straight to the point, and no games being played. At this point if you don't believe me, I'll be better off as I get to come to this STAPLE of a restaurant without waiting in line. (But if there was a line...I'd stand for hours)

It's moist delicious grilled chicken with yellow perfectly cooked rice. I don't know how they cook the yellow rice, but sometimes I crave it more than I do the chicken. For anyone who used to go to the first chicken kitchen on 57th Ave., by sunset, place, and remember the amazing portions you used to get before all the knock offs started popping up, then, this place will give you back those memories. Prices of slowly crept up over the last couple years, but the fact of the matter is so has the price of everything else. But the portions remain big and hearty. Unlike other chicken, cluck places, they actually care how their curry mustard taste. It's amazing and addictive. I cannot highly recommend three chefs enough.

Excellent service, from the hostess and server. The atmosphere was relaxing and social distancing was practiced (as much as they could). The food was outstanding with large portions.

First of all I have no idea why this has the ratings it has. I have been coming here for years and hadn't been since before COVID. I had missed it and wanted to go back. When I finished my meal tonight and came to yelp I was shocked at what I was reading. I know food and what I ate was outstanding and was no reflection of what was on here. I went with a party of 7 and spent 2 hours there. I had the 3 course meal for $48 with a $3 up charge on my last course. I started with the crab cake which was the best I have ever had, I cannot stand when a seafood dish is fishy and this was far from it. I then had the best meatloaf I have ever had with the creamiest mashed potato's. And to finish it off there "Grand Marnier" soufflé which is basically a vanilla soufflé with a hint of orange. I'm not a desert guy at all and I had the entire thing. I loved my experience and highly recommend it. The food may take a while because everything is homemade. Appreciate the experience and enjoy this local south Miami spot.

I absolutely love this place! The food is delicious and they have an excellent variety on the menu. I've done several private events in their special events room and they have gone great!

First time experience and it was a big dissapointment To begin with the waiter acted like he was doing us a favor to serve our table of five. We arrived to a 6pm reservation and were promptly seated. The waiter came to our table, did not greet us or even offer to explain the menu. He was plain rude. We ordered cocktails and he wanted our entree choices. We wanted to begin with appetizers and he seemed bothered that we were not ready to order our entree. No bread was ever offered. Water refills were an issue, we would have to flag down the host for more water. The onion soup was tasteless, the pasta was soupy and bland. The grand marnier souffle was very good.The restaurant became full within and hour of our arrival, so they do have a following, but our experience was not worth the high final bill.

It had been a while since my last visit but everything was just as wonderful as I remembered. We tried the Miami Spice Menu and the food was delicious. The service was very attentive and the dessert was just marvelous.

Gosh, how long has this restaurant been in this location? it seems like forever... As you can imagine, this is the type where a family may come for mom's or dad's birthday, or married empty-nesters for a nice evening out. A bit upscale, traditional dishes, nothing too exciting, exotic or ethnic. I haven't been to this place for a while, since I last came for a business lunch a couple years back. I noticed, however, that they have souffle for dessert on their Spice menu, and all of a sudden I developed a souffle craving. Their lunch menu lists all the Spice items and more, and you can order a la carte those same items, if you don't want so much food. However, appetizers runs over $10, entrees are $18 and up, and a souffle is $12, so there's no reason not to do Spice. They do have a lot of options for appetizers and entrees, though some cost extra. My crab cake has a nice flavor, though the beans are a bit bland. The chicken has excellent flavor and really tender. The mushroom risotto, though flavorful, is too overcooked by risotto standard. The souffle though, do not disappoint. It's hard to choose among Chocolate, Hazelnut, or Grand Marnier; I had the Grand Marnier, and it comes out tall, soft and almost too hot to eat. Spoonful after spoonful, I taste egg, orange, chocolate (from the sauce I poured on), vanilla, brandy... till I empty the ramekin with a satisfying sigh. Overall, food is okay to good, but definitely worth it for the souffle. Service is very good, and I don't feel discriminated as a Spice diner.

I was pleasantly surprised! Had the chicken size and loved it. A bit expensive but great food. The desserts were out of this world. Will come back again!

Ok....so this restaurant does everything right. Food is great...creative and a bit different than the typical Miami fare. Beautiful at night and quite comfortable. Prices are good too when everything else is through the roof. Go, enjoy have an upscale experience in a great setting!

Amazing place! This is our third visit and the food and service did not disappoint! I can't believe some Yelpers have rates them three stars. We will continue to visit this amazing place.

Love the attention that Chef Jan put on all of his delicious food on the menu. My husband loves his meatloaf with the potatoes. I love it all specially the soufflé at the end of the meal.

This place is a sports bar, not even close to and italian eatery, far from quiet and a dining experience We ordered chicken parm . Portions were good but the pasta way way overcooked and the sauce was more like oregano and a tomato. No rich italian flavors of garlic, olive oil and heavenly rich tomatoe sauce. Far from a value, but the service was good. I hate giving places a less than good review, but there are so many wonderful italian places within 10 miles , I say choose another unless your just lookin for a watering hole.

I made a reservation via Resy to celebrate my mom's birthday. The day before the dinner, I received an email via Resy saying my reservation was canceled. I called the restaurant and was told that they are closed for a private party and that if I would've called to make the reservation I would've been told that information. I was blamed for using the reservation system that is prominently advertised on their website. Absolutely awful customer service. Thanks for ruining my mom's bday dinner.

Came for lunch with my friend, we are the first two customers that day! Ambient 3/5 A little old and dark in a square. Service 3.5/5 No introduce to menu, rare interaction Food 4/5 Vegetable soup In standard, suitable flavor, not heavy! Great Homemade salad Fresh vege, do not like that dressing. Meat loaf With BBQ sauce, and two fried potato cheese on the side. More like a fast food restaurant flavor, but everyone like the fast food flavor, calorie bomb! Sautéed shrimp Fresh, light with the tomato. But I am not a fan of basil! My friend do like this dish! Soufflé Outstanding! Melt in my mouth! Recommend!

Was very excited about eating here for the first time since I had heard great things about Two Chefs. Tried the Miami Spice lunch menu and unfortunately was not pleased. The mushroom risotto was bland and lacked flavor. The chicken was ok as it was tender and the skin crispy. I had high hopes for the grand marnier souffle and it just didn't happen. It was alright for a vanilla souffle but that's about it. Overall very disappointing and will not be going back.

Absolutely loved this restaurant!! All the choices on Miami Spice are on the regular menu, not always try for other restaurants. The appetizers are amazing! All the soufflés were spectacular but I especially loved the pistachio, a must try. This restuarant does not disappoint. You must run and try the spice menu, try all the different options and enjoy!! Truly amazing experience.

We stopped by Two Chefs on Dixie Highway for a drink during a pouring rain storm after lunch. We sat at the bar at had a nice Sauvignon blanc and Cabernet. It kept raining so I had to have dessert - the choices were soufflé, soufflé and soufflé - so I had a chocolate soufflé served with chocolate sauce and creme anglais. It was absolutely wonderful. Will go back to try the other flavors too.

I always heard great things about this restaurant so of course, it had to be visited ! I went there for a business lunch and took advantage of their Miami spice menu. You can tell the place has been there for a while; it looks a bit outdated yet it's very Clean and organized which is far more important to me than the looks of it . Place was busy as it can get for lunch hour and phone didn't stop ringing, that's probably why one of the chef owners was taking calls while doing the hostes business too. Food overall was ok on my opinion. The rissoto was good but the chicken was under cooked. Honestly, the best part was the soufflé; so soft and enjoyable! But what really gets it its 3 start review is the service. Waiter was totally indifferent and he seemed rather more concerned about us leaving soon so he could get other patrons on that table that making sure my boss and I were taking care of. Anyway, overall I think food is ok.

I ordered the salmon and the onion soup and it was def the best I've ever had! The flavors, the size of the plates, everything! It was absolutely amazing. The place is a little hidden but the inside is great. The ambience was perfect as well. Would def recommend it

This is a nice restaurant hidden in the middle of a somewhat tired strip center. The service is old style attentive, and quite serious. The menu is fairly short and features interesting twists on classic mostly French dishes. My Atlantic Salmon with Toasted Spaetzle, Basil Pesto, and Truffle Aioli was perfectly cooked as requested on the rare side. The Caesar Salad was great. The Escargot Pot Pie was just ok; very light on the snails and other fillings. They're known for their dessert soufflés, and my Grand Marnier soufflé was airy and really excellent.

It's time to update menu or adjust prices. Service is excellent however, the menu of meatloaf, chicken thighs and a burger does not equate to the prices they have. Over $40 for a steak is a steakhouse price. This is a not a steakhouse. We love dining here but are bored with the menu. Best item is there soufflé.

Doesn't look like much because it's located in a strip mall. Nice ambience once you're inside, looks like a proper restaurant. Food was excellent. Service was rushed, we came in at 9:30 and were pushed to order. We were asked multiple times for dessert because kitchen was closing and felt like they were rushing to get us to leave. Attitude of server could've been better. Wasn't very accommodating for vegetarians and didn't give good options from the menu. Overall nice place, service needed improvement.

The restaurant environment is good for adults to have a quiet dinner. The waiter is nice but his wine suggestion is a bit off the mark. We tried the Miami Spice Menu which essentially is pretty much the same as the regular menu except some of the dishes require additional nominal fees. For appetizers, the yellow fin tuna tartare comes with a generous proportion and a very flavorful sauce; but the baby back ribs miss the mark. It was tough and very hard to slice the meat off the bones with the provided knife. For main course, the shrimp & fettucine pasta is nicely seasoned. It comes with 7 good size fresh shrimps. The tuna steak is a bit disappointment. The four tuna steak slices were nicely arranged on the spaetzle. But the center is cold as if the steak was not properly defrosted so it was still a bit frozen in the center while on the grill. The spaetzle was salty. I washed it down with the wine. The soufflé deserts were the highlight of the meal. Both "grand marnier" and the "bitter sweet chocolate" versions were nice. I liked that the waiter left me the sauce so I can control how much I like to add them. Overall, it was just an "ok" meal.

Soufflés, soufflés, soufflés! My favorite part of any meal is dessert.. and Two Chefs takes the cake (or soufflé!). Several flavors to choose from, all delicious. Desert aside however, the menu is always changing.. Definitely some staple items, but since everything is purchased fresh, the menu is based on current availability, which is always a good thing. Jan is fantastic and his entire staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. They have a room for events or large private parties, great for luncheons, wedding events, birthdays, and so forth. Additionally, if you love their food, you'll love their cooking classes!

Our Seared Tuna Loin, was sent back because it was cooked medium! My meatloaf dinner was delicious. Mixed drinks were all very good, my cappuccino was good however, American coffee came out as weak as water! The waiters and another personal were professional, helpful and gracious and the atmosphere in the dining room was dark, sophisticated and comfortable. The restaurant is located off of Route one in South Miami and was convenient and easy to fine. I would go back and try the restaurant again to give a more definitive opinion.

I was invited to a corporate event with about 25 members of the management team, we had a private room which was very nice. The service was excellent, the apps were wonderful, had the best salmon, I would not have tried it had it realized it was fried but it was delish, might have saved 10 apples all fried. I preferred to have had something healthy there. I had a grade salad which was great except the frozen green beans that I didn't care for. I ordered my steak med, it was over cooked and a little hard to cut or chew. Many had the same complaints. I wanted the grilled salmon instead but they couldn't serve it without the bacon. The chocolate soufley was perfect! I actually liked this place, here is the bad news when we came out, one of the Executives had his rental car broken into and they stoked his MacBook from the car. Safe neighborhood? not a good sign!

5 stars for the soufflé but unfortunately that is really the only thing to come for. Overall I thought the food was competent but nothing to write home about or that I would crave. While the dim candle lighting makes for a romantic experience, the ambiance otherwise is fairly bland. The service can be downright snail-like, and mostly, the food just isn't innovative or interesting enough to warrant the hefty price tag. The menu may change but really nothing is *that* out there in creativity. The meatballs with blue cheese custard came disturbingly cold inside, and seemed to lack much of the promised custard. However, the pasta was tasty and suffused with a nice smokiness that paired well with the meat and al dente pasta curls. Otherwise the dishes were entirely forgettable. The best choice is clearly their soufflés. Hands down, if you're coming to Two Chef's it needs to happen.

Visited last night with two families. Ordered chicken chop with mushroom risotto and it was delicious. Decent ambience. Staff was professional. The one thing that irked us was their sense of urgency to get us out the door as they were closing. Overall happy with the experience, came to $50 a pop with light drinks which we expected. I'll go back and recommend the food but experience could have been better.

I love this place, the have done my graduation parties and baby shower there at their private room. Few things that i like, their new York steak, meat loaf, chicken Cesar salar, cheese risotto, potato croquet and soufflé.

I was not impressed. Went for Miami Spice and chose the Onion Soup and it was tasteless. The broth had absolutely no flavor! I ordered the roasted chicken with vegetables and it was just okay. I also tried a piece of meatloaf, which is one of their recommended dishes. Not impressed. The only thing I did enjoy was their souffle for dessert. In addition, the service was extremely slow and the waiter was not at all pleasant.

Two Chefs is the best restaurant south of Coral Gables and can compete with the best in Miami. My family has been going to Two Chefs for as long as I can remember. It is like our kitchen away from home. No matter when I've gone, how busy they've been, etc. the food has always been consistently excellent. My Yelp review is long past due. When you walk in, you'll often find the owner/chef Jan standing at the entrance. This basically is the go to restaurant for locals, so he knows the customers who frequent the restaurant. Straight ahead is the bar and, if you're lucky, Juan will be the bartender. He's been there as long as I can remember and many people (like me) choose to sit at the bar for dinner because he provides excellent service and great conversation. Like all great bartenders, he knows when you want privacy and when you want to have a conversation. He gives great recommendations and pours some stiff drinks. An added bonus of sitting at the bar is that you get to see the food coming through the window for bar service. You'll notice that to the right there is a door leading to somewhere. That is the private party room, also where the cooking classes are taught. Occasionally that room also is opened for dinner when the restaurant is extremely busy. When you arrive you'll be served a half loaf of bread with olive oil to munch on while you peruse the menu. The menu changes weekly and is always outstanding. There always are Miami Spice menu options and, really, that's the best thing to choose. There are some staples that are always on the menu. For instance, the Caesar salad is always on the appetizer menu. The dressing is great and the salad is served in full, fresh romaine leaves. It comes with a large crouton and cheese crisp. There are always several different flavor of soufflés to choose from, including Grand Marnier and chocolate as usual suspects. Some of my favorite things (some on the menu and some as sides) are the Caesar salad, lobster bisque, tuna tartar appetizer, shrimp pizza, potato croquettes, golden beets, salmon, polenta cake and, of course, the Grand Marnier soufflé. In case I haven't made the point yet, you can't leave without having a soufflé. The Grand Marnier soufflé is my favorite but you really can't go wrong no matter which one you choose. Don't forget to pour the sauce all over it!!! The cooking classes also are stellar, and you learn some great tips like how they make the soufflés so soft and sweet in the center. Getting the recipe to make the soufflés at home alone makes the class price well worth it! Two Chefs is a hidden gem. My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner there and for part of my bachelorette party I had a cooking party at Two Chefs. I'm lucky enough to have been there for as long as I can remember and highly recommend it to everyone.

I'm writing this review because I'm hoping that the owners will see that the changes that they have made are detrimental to their business. First, let me say that I have loved Two Chef's every single time I have ordered in the past, but tonight was a huge disappointment. I always order the chicken chop with mushroom risotto. It's always been two chicken thighs and a nice helping of risotto. Now, it is one small thigh with half of the previous amount of risotto. The price, which is $28, is crazy for two thighs, it's now the same price for one! I didn't mind paying that price for two because I had enough for leftovers the next day, but now, it's hardly enough for one meal! Also, the picture when ordering shows two thighs. They also cut the garlic buttered vegetables in half as well. As much as I love their food and want to support them, I feel let down and ripped off. I'm hoping beyond hope that they put the serving size back to the way it was. Until then, I won't be reordering.
