The 16 Best Places for Pizza in Orange County | Eater LA

"In Fullerton, Two Saucy Broads is serving up New York-style pizza with fresh, local ingredients. Since it opened its doors in 2011, the restaurant’s founders – two sisters – have had a knack for eclectic pizzas. The Bronx Bomber embraces an enticing balance of savory and spicy with pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, and jalapeno, while the Pestopalooza is topped with fresh artichoke hearts, feta, pesto, and bruschetta. Options for vegetarians and vegans are also plentiful with plant-based and dairy-free cheese options. The pizzeria also offers a special pizza and beer pairing offer each month, with additional California craft beers on tap." - Cathy Park

Therapy’s Expensive. This Pizza Wasn’t. We dined in. Pizza came out on a cold metal tray like it had just done time—and somehow still had dignity. No frills, no fake smiles, just a steaming, chaotic masterpiece staring you down. The Supreme hit different. Crust was thin, gritty, crisp—held up under pressure, unlike me. Sauce had bite, not bullshit. Garlic whispered sweet nothings through every bite like an ex who still knows how to ruin your life. Veggies were roasted with just enough trauma to give them character. Sausage and pepperoni brought the heat without drowning the vibe. Cheese was melted chaos—no symmetry, no plan, just passion. You don’t eat this with expectations. You eat it because you need to remember what real tastes like. What joy tastes like. Even if it’s just for the length of one messy, glorious slice. Grab a beer. Let it all hit. And for a moment—just one—everything makes sense.

The pizza journey continues. Next stop: Two Saucy Broads. Food: I think the best way to put it is that it was "fine". As always with my reviews, I will qualify that the baseline for the review is the baseline pizza, a cheese slice. The cheese was average and the sauce was OK. I will say the dough flavor was nice, it was properly thin, and had a nice crisp. However, virtually zero rise on the crust, just a very flat dough, not airy at all, taking away some of the positive. We also got a pepperoni slice, which came out a little burnt. Same story though, just very average. Certainly it was not bad, but there's nothing particularly special about it either in terms of quality or taste. It'll scratch a pizza itch if you have it, but it's otherwise pretty forgettable. Service: No issues. The cashier wasn't especially friendly or anything, but not rude either. Just a guy doing his job. Food came out relatively quickly. No issues. Atmosphere: Honestly, the location is not great. The parking lot has like 3 spaces, the inside is just for ordering (which is fine), but there's not much personality in there, and the patio in the parking lot is a bit drab. There is signage saying they are renovating the patio, so drab is probably a little unfair, but it's not overly attractive as it is right now. The chairs are wobbly feeling plastic chairs. Hopefully the chairs are part of the renovation, the experience eating on the patio right now is below par. I always feel bad leaving a less than glowing review, but I have to be honest. It's just a very average pizza place. It's good for a local slice shop, if I lived nearby I might go occasionally, but it's not worth going out of your way for.

Google
Pretty good pizza, love the hunks of burning love -cream cheese bites. Small selection of local craft beers. Small outside seating area. Parking is small, but plenty of close street parking.

Google
Friendly, helpful staff, very casual vibe. Outdoor seating only. Pizzas were good, and I appreciated they had personal sizes. Not quite worth the drive from south county, but if I lived in the neighborhood they'd be part of a rotation for sure.

Google
I have been going to this pizza joint for many years now but never ate there, always take out. Therefore, I didn't provide a rating on atmosphere. It's a 5 if I was rating the service atmosphere. Great employees. Polite and patient. I love NY Style pizza, so I might be biased. I really like their Bronx Bomber. The parking is the only issue at this restaurant. Barely enough space for 5-6 cars. But there is a free parking structure a short walk away.

Google
Great pizza made by a friendly staff. There really isn’t too much parking or seating, so just be warned. Pizza is very tasty, hasn’t disappointed. Located near downtown Fullerton, great place to get a great slice (they sell by slices) or a full pizza before you go exploring

Google
Hands down the best pizza in Fullerton and one of the best in all of Orange County. The crust is thin and airy and perfectly supports the cheese and toppings, which are fresh and high quality. Their service is great, and they accommodate allergies seriously. They also deliver. Just a great all around pizza spot.

Google
Went here on a whim when looking for somewhere to eat when spending a couple nights in Fullerton. This place was incredible. The crust is some of the best I've ever had. Crispy thin crust with a chewy end crust. I was actually disappointed that I didn't have another chance to go back. Pepperoni was delicious, BBQ chicken was great, Buffalo was tasty, and the sandwiches were among the best ever (especially the Italian). The employees were attentive and helpful as well. The patio dining was just what we needed after a long drive. I'll definitely be dining here again!

Yelp
Crunchy roast? Right cheese-to-meat portion? Worth the price AND the wait? I've ordered online and on the phone in the past. You'll always expect a wait since the food is made fresh and everyone else & their mama's are waiting for this delicious pizza just as you are. We're more of a meat loving pizza customer so of course we go with the Strong Island pizza. Take that thang home, pour on some of your favorite hot sauce(I prefer Frank's Red Hot) and be prepared to end up in a food coma. And please... don't forget to throw in an order of their garlic knots.

Yelp
Tonight, my family and I devoured a large Margherita pizza, and it was awesome. I tried to do the "1 bite, everybody knows the rules," but I was so distracted by the taste. I just forgot about scoring the pizza and just went to munchie mode. Now I've had time to reflect, and I'll give the Margherita a solid 7.6. Under carriage had no flop, plenty of cheese, garlic, and nice ripe tomatoes. I haven't had a bad pizza from two saucy broads, yet!

Yelp
Pretty solid pizza! I love the unique and creative pizza options they offer. I'd definitely come back again, only if I was in the area though. I'd skip the knots next time. We tried the Hunk of Burnin Love and found the cream cheese filling to be too much, it overpowered the whole knot. Quick and great service. Clean patio where the eating area is located.

Yelp
We were in town and looking for an independent pizza place - found Two Saucy Broads and ordered online for pick up. The pizza was ready when they said it would be - parking is very small so best to have someone who can drop you off by car so you can get in and get out. Pizza was NY style and good - not too gooey with fatty cheese and just pleasant to eat. We got one with pepperoni, sausage and artichoke hearts and one Margherita and it was a hit with us.

Yelp
Can't get enough of the pizzas here. This place never disappoints. We tried their pizza of the month in July. Wow!!! It was amazing. Tried the Fiery Nutcraker! The sauce, the cheese, the spice, the cilantro!!!! Yummy!! The service was quick. My only complaint was sitting outside they don't have dine-in. They only have chairs and tables outside and this heat has been brutal. Will have to order next time and eat at home.

Jeff C.

Yelp
I consider myself a pizza snob. The pizza here is phenomenal... I wasn't expecting it to be this good. It's a thin style pizza but I personally wouldn't compare it to NY style, because this pizza tastes unique. The service took about 20 minutes on a busy Saturday. There's an outdoor patio area to eat at. Parking is a little tricky but worth it. I will be returning to two saucy broads whenever I want pizza from now on!
google avatar

Sarah L.

Yelp
Friendly, quick service. A cute outdoor dining area. Apparently they partner with the bar next door and you can order their pizza there too?? Very cool. The pizza itself was thin New York style. The crust wasn't my favorite, it wasn't as crispy as I'd like it to be, but it was still alright. The GARLIC KNOTS though, I would 100% come back for those! So good and they come with a semi-spicy dipping marinara.

Yelp
I was looking for a NY Style pizza in the Fullerton area. I found one that serves very good NY style pizza in Two Saucy Boards Pizza. I ordered online two custom 10" pizza. A pepperoni mushroom with lite mozzarella cheese and a no sauce mushroom and spinach with lite mozzarella cheese for me. The pizza is perfectly balanced and not too salty. How does it compare to the pizza places in NYC? It's almost as good. DJ's rating: 4.35/5.00 Would I come back? Yes, just do park in their parking lot because it's a small and there a lot of traffic on Highland.
google avatar

Mojo S.

Yelp
The pizza was pretty good here. Normally I don't seek out thinner, more pliable crusts like New York-style pies, but they manage to churn out some delicious pizzas. Their sausage isn't your typical chunks, opting instead to make them resemble an almost disc cut. They reminded me of teacup pepperonis. And even though they didn't have roasted garlic, their minced garlic was more than adequete. Their garlic knots could've been better. I found them really doughy and lacking in garlic--at least for the size they make them. But I never really order knots like my companions so this isn't as big of a deal to me. No, it's not New Haven style, but those are few and far between. And their crust is thinner than I'd like. But they make fresh toppings, they're really personable and welcoming, and the price is pretty reasonable. I'd come back in a heartbeat to this place without much prodding if I'm in a pizza mood when I'm in the area.

Yelp
This place never disappoints! I love that they offer alternative cheese and ranch. As someone who is Lactose Intolerant this place is golden ! There pizza is made fresh to order and they prep/cook it to perfection! It's not overcooked where the bread is hard like cardboard it's just right. It's soft in texture with a little bit of crunch. There wings are bomb.com as well. There prices matches the quality of food you are receiving. The ambience is great and it's very clean inside. Their customer service is great I'm always treated upon entry.

Yelp
Tried this place on a friend's recommendation and was unfortunately disappointed. There is absolutely no parking and its either to go or outside seating (i have no problem sitting outside!!) Everyone was very nice and helpful. I got the personal pizza with ham and my husband got the cauliflower crust (gf) with veggies and pepp. I also got the garlic knots which were pretty tasty. The ranch and marinara were good! My pizza was just okay and my husband's pizza was undercooked - the dough & veggies were practically raw. I know pizza places do that at times but we arent used to it and weren't expecting it. The wings were AMAZING! Fat spicy flavorful wings. Definitely get wings too! We wouldnt come back but other people i know really like it so decide for yourself!

Yelp
We stumbled here by accident after craving for some pizza. The staff is friendly and the inside smells delicious! However, do note that there is no indoor seating. They do have some tables setup outside with some greenery to provide privacy from passerby's. The pizza itself thin which I love. There's a great balance between the toppings and the pizza dough. One of the better pizza I've had in California after coming here from new York. Definitely check this place out!
google avatar

Paul A.

Yelp
From down the street to here From eating at bootleggers to you can't do that From eating inside to eating in the parking lot You've been good, very good.
google avatar

Tamara T.

Yelp
Recently moved close by and am a fan of Two Saucy Broads. I've ordered online both times and my order was ready for pick-up when I arrived. Parking lot is SMALL, but I've managed to find a parking spot every time. They are off Commonwealth and Highland so walking distance to city hall and still in Downtown Fullerton but on the edge. The pizza is thin with a normal sized crust and I enjoy the crust as well as the pizza. I think the toppings are really good too. I usually get pineapple and sausage and it's the right proportions between that and the sauce. If you're looking for a pizza spot with outdoor seating just a little off the busy street (Harbor Blvd.) then Two Saucy Broads is a great spot.
google avatar

Chrissy T.

Yelp
First time/ visit! Pizza is my love language and since I've had both NYs pizza and Chicagos deep dish pizzas, I can say Two Saucy Broads has my heart. We got an 18" Strong Island 2.0 and it was so good and decadent. Sauce to cheese ratio was perfect. All the protein on the pizza was so tasty. Perfect choice after the gym! Staff was nice and helpful and this has become a go to spot!
google avatar

Marlena Serpico C.

Yelp
Greasy pizza, soggy crust, and a sick stomach. I ended up getting an IV at the hospital. Never again . I missed two days of work and felt horrible!!!!!!

Randy S.

Yelp
Solid pizza place; perfect dough to sauce ratio. I just wish it was a little more crispier. Going to ask for well-done next time.
google avatar

Kendell B.

Yelp
This is my favorite pizza spot in Fullerton! I love that they rotate a specialty pizza each month. There's no seating inside, just registers and a kitchen, but they do have an outdoor patio you can sit at. The staff here is friendly, and they make great recommendations. We have gotten the white pie and added pepperoni, and today we are trying their September pizza special. It's a pizza with hot honey, crispy cupping pepperoni, red onion and pepperoncini relish, garlic, parm, mozzarella, and marinara sauce. I don't like marinara, so we are foregoing that. We also ordered some chipotle wings we are excited to try! They also have great lunch specials available and happy hour!
google avatar

Tyler H.

Yelp
So over the weekend, we were craving some pizza and found this spot in Fullerton due to its reviews. First of all, the parking lot is super cramped and tiny so good luck parking. I ordered ahead so the pizza was ready when I arrived. I ordered the 14" PESTOPALOOZA and the pizza was full of toppings and had great flavor. I would go back for some pizza in the future but really have to fight for parking when you arrive, which is unfortunate.
google avatar

Andrea B.

Yelp
Vegan review: This is a great spot to get pizza and beer to chill with friends for awhile. A couple of my friends that go to college nearby frequent this location. There are a ton of vegan options! They have vegan cheese and faux meats. My sister and I ordered the Gardein of Eden pizza and vegan garlic knots which were both on point. I just wish the garlic knots came with a little more marinara sauce. The only disappointment was that the pizza is on the thinner side, similar to Blaze Pizza or one of those build-your-own pizza chains. I'm not sure if sizes larger than medium would have thicker crusts or not. There is outdoor patio seating only. There are string lights so I'm sure it would look beautiful in the evening.
google avatar

Fatima P.

Yelp
I'm honestly surprised by all the good reviews. The pepperoni was inconsistent in thickness. Some were chewy, some were crusty. The flavor was not there. Literally. I could not taste anything by oil or grease and dough. Disappointed.
google avatar

Christopher B.

Yelp
Decided to try this spot today because a ton of my coworkers rave about this place constantly. The lunch special is great. Two slices of pizza + a drink for about $10 which isn't bad. The quality of pizza was excellent. I ended up ordering two large pizzas to go for my other coworkers to enjoy. The ladies who work here are extremely friendly. Very happy with the service I got. The seating is very limited, so be mindful of that. I'd definitely recommend this place and I'll definitely return in the future.
google avatar

Claudia R.

Yelp
Yummy! Great thin crust pizza! Fast excellent service. Hablan Espanol. Great flavor! Parking right in front. They deliver ($4)
google avatar

Jill P.

Yelp
Love their pizza!! I've only had Two Saucy Broads for delivery and it was my first time eating in, and I love how you can get slices. They have plenty of seating outside with some shade so I recommend eating here if you're craving good pizza in the downtown Fullerton area. My favorite has to be their pestopalooza! It had the perfect amount of pesto flavor and other veggies, and does not taste overly oily. They have good sides as well like their meatballs, wings, and salads so definitely check it out as well. My favorite pizza in Fullerton, check it out!
google avatar

Robert S.

Yelp
Excellent Real Italian Pizza With Some Modern Twists As Well . I Wonder If You Can Eat Inside I Ordered To Go From A Smaller Kitchen And Check Out Part But Noticed A Small Second Part Of The Building Loolk Usable
google avatar

Maryanne B.

Yelp
As close to New York style that we can find! Nice thin crust is all we're asking for and they bring it. Carry out to take home or eat outside if you can't wait! Recommendation: Bronx bomber
google avatar

Amoure D.

Yelp
Parking is hard because area. But the pizza is worth the wait they have a good variety of many kinds of pizzas. Came out great, and they have good service here
google avatar

Sean S.

Yelp
Best to make this take out There is VERY limited parking Had a great pizza , we did end up eating there and sat on the patio The pizza was hot and fresh, didn't take long to come out I got to meet the saucy broads They seems nice and happy to be working
google avatar

Josh P.

Yelp
Found this place on Yelp. Got lunch here since it's close to my work. Two slices with a drink for like $10? Cant complain. But honestly, got two of their house specialty slices and they were phenomenal. Service was great. Can't wait to come back here.
google avatar

Sam T.

Yelp
Always a great spot to hang out and get pizza! Definitely a downtown favorite! Limited parking and seating so plan accordingly, cheers!
google avatar

Dayna G.

Yelp
I have to say...y'all have truly done it. I've ordered from here a few times over the past month because wowww. Like I said before, flavors are good, and it seems like the excess oil sitch has resolved itself. This is such a great takeaway option when you don't want to cook or you really just want a good thin pizza. I have yet to eat in (because you can only eat in the side area of the parking lot) but may try it now that the weather is warmer!
google avatar

Paige T.

Yelp
Incredible! Just moved to town and I found my go to place! They got the order right and delivered it with a smile. Best sauce!
google avatar

Omar Z.

Yelp
It's a hit or miss, sometimes the pizza is perfectly cooked and the crust juglar right, other times the crust can be nonexistent. However they have god selection of specialty pizza to chose from and also many toppings to choose from. I like their stuffed crust.
google avatar

Kevin K.

Yelp
Maaaan this place always slaps. Friday night family pizza time ALWAYS HITS with Two Saucy Broads. Love the vibe, the service, the food obviously, it is always so good and a solid pizza night restaurant. Cant wait for next Friday!

John C.

Yelp
Uhhhhh I wanted to like it sooooooo much. I get it tho. SoCal is great pizza deprived, this seems good. Wasn't horrible, just not what I was looking for. But, I will try again incase I was horribly wrong. Nice establishment tho. Good service. Why is pizza so god damn expensive in SoCal? Shit is wild.

Manuel D.

Yelp
Two saucy or rude broads... staff was unpleasant and the food was nasty, one pizza was over cooked, dried out and flaky and the large was soggy in the middle, its thin pizza how do you get it soggy, the chicken wings sucked also, the skin was rubbery.
google avatar

Diane C.

Yelp
I have never been inside but have to-goed twice or more so far. I really really enjoyed the pizza and plan to come regularly for my pizza fix. The pizza was very very fresh and soooo good eaten right after it was picked up. The steam from the box was creating a sauna in my car. The personal pizza price is not bad but when you start customizing it adds up pretty quickly. I got the cheese garlic crust and it was a extra 3 dollars. I really enjoyed the crust but next time I'll see if I can do without. My brother ordered a larger customized pizza and it cost more to add garlic cheese crust ($4) and like a $1.50 or more for each topping. Overall delicious but pricier than other chain pizza restaurants which makes sense but worth it!
google avatar

Jose Y.

Yelp
We got the meat pizza which so delicious. The pizza was thin which was awesome. We hate it when the pizza is just an over load of dough. Oh did I mention that they have a good selection of tap beer. The staff is really nice and helpful. We also got garlic knots and hunks of burning' love it's must try. Their parking is limited but worth it
google avatar

Rachelle A.

Yelp
This place never disappoints! Their lunch specials are great, and the pizza no matter which one you order is always amazing! The firecrackers are pretty life changing! Definitely a good place to go for pizza in Fullerton!
google avatar

Briana N.

Yelp
Went to this pizza place a few months ago when we had moved into the area and had ordered the Supreme pizza for pickup. It was a long wait, but I have no problem waiting. However, pizza was underdone and crust was still doughy. Against my better judgement (hungry), my friend and I ate it and both were sick later that night. Perhaps we should have gone on a less busy night, but had wanted to give this place a chance. There's other pizza places in the area, so I haven't been back since. Just thought to leave a review for others to be warned to perhaps check your dough if you're going on a busy night.
google avatar

William L.

Yelp
First time and got the Bronx bomber. Highly recommend. Garlic makes it really tasty. Outside patio seating only. They serve beer and wine too
google avatar

Janiece G.

Yelp
My boyfriend was craving pizza & we decided to try this place out & we were not disappointed! We got the garlic knots & shared the Strong Island pizza. Both were very delicious. The food came out very quickly & it was so nice to eat outside. We will definitely be back!
google avatar

Claudia S.

Yelp
This place is amazing! The pizza is delicious and the sandwiches are made with pizza dough. You can even take your beer to go! Closest thing to Rome in So Cal! Super sweet staff too...
google avatar

Monique L.

Yelp
Pizza is consistently good. Service is great, with friendly staff. Bronx Bomber and Pestopalooza, I highly recommend.
google avatar

Maria F.

Yelp
This place is absolutely delicious!! Best pizza in the OC , you need to order it with the Garlic Parmesan! The customer service is great, all the employees are super cool and hard working. Great vibes , you need try it out
google avatar

Chelsea A.

Yelp
We've been looking for a pizza spot with vegan options for too long and I'm so glad we finally found this! They have lots of options so we got the vegan garlic knots, Gardein of Eden and vegan ranch. WOW! Everything was so delicious. My boyfriend is allergic to soy so they were accommodating enough to take off the Gardein meatballs. I only wish and ask that they would have more soy-free options since all their vegan meat is Gardein. Please! Other than that, the pizza was so fresh and homemade. The vegan ranch blew my mind! They only have patio seating at the back but I totally loved it. It was such a vibe. So simple yet so intimate. We will definitely come back!
google avatar

Jerry W.

Yelp
First time here and wish I had stopped by sooner! Got two slices of cheese and the Bronx bomber...all slices were bomb. Will be back again for sure.
google avatar

Gilbert T.

Yelp
Really great pizza .Great service and fast. Its convenient and good tasting!! Nice job saucy broads!!
google avatar

Sennett L.

Yelp
Nothing beats some pizza and wings after a round of golf. The Bronx Bomber is legit! Nicely crisp crust, delicious sausage and pep, mushroom, jalepeno, garlic... Amazing! The buffalo wings are baked and each wing is pretty big. Great pizzeria style wing! Staff was all super friendly as well.
