The 25 Best Restaurants In New Orleans 2024

"It’s only natural to get caught looking at other people’s plates when visiting Two Tony’s, a Lakeview restaurant with a large dining room. There are so many Creole Italian dishes worth getting that order envy is a regular occurrence. Not to mention that the portions are massive and the baskets of seeded bread so good, it’s almost a guarantee you’ll have leftovers. Here’s a foolproof order: start with fried artichoke hearts, crabmeat-stuffed mushrooms, and a small house Italian salad, then get a side of lump crabmeat in lemon butter sauce with Mediterranean shrimp pasta. Lean into the last-supper mentality and cap things off with some tiramisu, and maybe even a limoncello." - chelsea brasted, zella palmer, carlo mantuano, megan braden perry

I've been craving soft shell crab. I knew Two Tony's had great seafood so I checked it out and was delighted to learn that they did have soft shell crab today. It was terrific, perfectly fried with a choice of sides and a salad. The salad was fresh and cold. The capellini aglio e olio was a perfect accompaniment. The bartender recommended pairing it with an Oyster Bay Savignon Blanc and it was a great (and inexpensive) choice. My only concern is when do I want to go back before soft shell crab season is over.

Google
Great little old school neighborhood Italian restaurant. Great service, great iced tea and great food. I ordered the blackened shrimp po boy. It was on bread that is lighter than air. The shrimp was so flavorful and cooked to perfection. Good crispy fries as well. Kind of off the beaten path but definitely worth the trip. I’ll be back!

Google
OMG....sooo good. The onion rings were the best I've had in decades. Chicken parm and lasagne were fantastic. The marinara was excellent and my picky eaters polished off the fettuccine Alfredo, practically licked the plates!

The waitress we had was exceptional . We went in may we had a large party it was fsntastic. The food The service everything was wonderful..we had about 17 people in our group. Everyone that helped our waitress was wonderful.i wish I could give it 10 stars. We had drinks everyone ordered something different no-one had to wait for their food. It all came out at the same time.everyone raved about it. Everyone wanted dessert we ordered dessert and no one wanted to leave..it was so nice. We had put my parents ashes in greenwood cemetery. That day ans had a service for them. The Priest we had is a family friend he could not stop talking about how good everything was. We were all very pleased .

This restaurant is such a gem. I went for my birthday dinner with two of my best friends and we all were very impressed. The staff here is amazing and very acomodating. Tracy was our waitress and she literally went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed. She also answered all of our menu inquiries to help us decide on what to order and never made us feel rushed. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. I ordered the Crawfish Fettuccine pasta favorite and it did not dissapoint. The flavor was on point and did not taste fishy or heavily seasoned at all. I also ordered a cup of the seafood gumbo which was probably the best gumbo I have had in years. One of my friends ordered the veal parmesan which was so tender and the sauce on top complimented the meat so well. To drink, I had the chocolate martini and it was sooooo good. Our whole experience here was pleasant and memorable. If you want to have a quiet dining experience with great food and service Two Tony's is the place to go. If i had to change one thing it would be to add maybe a little bit of light music in the background to just create a different vibe while dinning here, but that is just my personal preference. I will be back in the near future.

Looking for something different while visiting New Orleans? This place will not disappoint. Chicken Fettuccine was amazing! Also tried their crab stuffed mushrooms, fried eggplant and crème brûlée. Everything was fantastic. Very good service and the environment was great.

Google
This is our new favorite Italian restaurant. Everything is prepared fresh. The pasta was to die for. The crab, shrimp, eggplant au gratin makes you want to change your religion. The staff was so nice and friendly. This is a hidden gem. We will be back! Update Feb 2nd 2024, short staffed, longer wait times, friendly service, great food

Yelp
Meals are delicious and reasonably price. My husband loves their lasagna. Have a great kids menu so going out with the family doesn't break the bank!

Yelp
I went with my co-worker for lunch time. Old style Italian feel in the inside. Nice vintage atmosphere. Kind of packed, but service was good. I got the lasagna. I was hoping for more flavor and "bite" from the cheeses though. Ingredients were fresh, and I will be back!

Yelp
I have always loved this place. My favorite is the breaded veal poboy. I get it dressed with swiss and brown gravy instead of the red. Awesome lunch and with onion rings you just can't go wrong. All the Italian dishes are equally delicious. The staff has always been very friendly and kind. Lastly the dining room has always been clean and comfortable. Thanks for being there.

Yelp
Amazing food and people are great I've been so many times and it never disappoints. Ambiance is fun

Vincent L.

Yelp
There are not enough good things to say about this restaurant. I could eat there every day. The food is addictive. The marinara, the gumbo, the poboys even, are unlike you've ever had before. Must try.

Colin A.

Yelp
Food was great. Service was also amazing. I would definitely recommend the chicken Montalbano!

Yelp
We ate here on a Wednesday evening, the place is nice and clean. Interesting Italian menu. Good service and great food. We'll be going back soon. We also get their food at the deli bar in Dorignac's grocery.

Yelp
My family and I went for lunch last Saturday. Parking can be a bit challenging but the atmosphere and staff are all wonderful. Food was scrumptious. I had the seafood Mediterranean and my sister had veal with lemon olive oil sauce which was yummy too. We will definitely be back soon

Yelp
I love this restaurant. My family and I have been coming here since it opened and we will continue to. The fact that Tony sometimes is sitting in the bar area to greet people is something truly special. The family atmosphere and the kids running around really makes the experience that much more enjoyable. The only thing I have to say is that my shrimp last night were the smallest I've ever seen them. It may be the fact that in the past I've been spoiled with extremely large shrimp? Maybe it's a supplier issue? Not sure. Still love Two Tony's!

Felicia G.

Yelp
I Two Tony's Restaurant Everything that I had was delicious. The service is excellent. Ambiance was great, felt like a good old time New Orleans restaurant. We were there in January 2024, for lunch.

Yelp
I have lived in NOLA for 22 years and somehow never made it here until yesterday. What a mistake that was! The menu is huge, just about any Italian dish you could think of is on it. We started with the onion rings which may have been the best I have ever had. Crispy, not greasy at all, and so fresh tasting. The sauce that came with them was so delicious I wanted to eat it with a spoon! I had the plain fettuccine Alfredo as an entree, but there was nothing plain about it. Flavorful and rich, pasta perfectly Al dente. I did have to add a lot of pepper to it, but that is a personal preference, and they provide a pepper grinder at the table. My friend had his favorite which is the shrimp and crawfish pasta. The martinis we had were also great. Too full for dessert, but I hope to try it when I return!

Yelp
We have been enjoying the lakefront area of NOLA. We found this Italian restaurant and so happy we did! I saw naked French onion soup on the menu & needed to try it. It was ok, but would not order it again. I had the chicken parm & my husband had the veal parm. Both really good! We enjoyed. Their sauce is a bit too sweet, but still good. We had espresso and tried a piece of their cheesecake. Espresso was good! Cheesecake was ok. Check them out! Great service, cute place!

Yelp
Well that's Two no's for me! Won't be two visits either. Wanted to see if their spaghetti is better than my fav place in Metarie and most def not even close. Be prepared to add seasoning to it and the meatballs were just bad, mushy and bready and lack flavor. The noodles were done fine. The eggplant parm was just ok as well. The fried artichoke hearts were ok but i think it be better with a different sauce. The mushrooms were decent but little fishy which was odd. Service was slow.

Yelp
We stopped in on a weekday for lunch with a party of six. Our server was terrific, upbeat, and attentive. The menu is huge, so everyone should be able to find something they like. Some of my party had sandwiches/poboys, some people had pasta, and I had the grilled redfish, which was great. Everyone seemed to like what they ordered, and no one left hungry. We will definitely stop by again.

Yelp
Do not get the shrimp remalaude salad. Total joke like 6 raw shrimp and lettuce. Just bad.

Yelp
Two Tony's, owned and operated by the Montalbano family, has been in business since 1987 and specializes in Creole Italian and fresh Local seafood dishes. Their original location was in the historic French Quarter, where they catered to the locals who lived and worked in the Quarter. The restaurant eventually moved to its second location in Bucktown in 1993 and transformed from a locals restaurant to a "full-service" one that offered expanded seating and catered more to families. In 2011, with new flood control pumps being built near the restaurant, the Montalbano's moved less than a 1/4 mile east to West End. This newest location added seating for approximately 45 additional patrons in the dining room and a private room for parties up to 40 guests. The full-service bar can accommodate 22 people and features a very well-rounded wine list. The menu includes fine Italian dishes, fresh gulf seafood prepared to your specifications, and great soups, salads, and appetizers. On our most recent visit, I had a cup of Chicken and Andouille gumbo (spicy) for an appetizer. It features a very dark Cajun style roux with file and I opted for no rice in an effort to control my carbs. Kudos to the staff for filling my cup even though I skipped the rice. For my entrée, I got the Seafood salad, which consisted of lump crabmeat, boiled Gulf shrimp, mixed field greens, red onions, tomato, egg & house made vinaigrette. The salad was very filling, the chunks of crabmeat were big and plentiful and the house made dressing was excellent. My wife hit a home run when she ordered the Veal Montalbano, made from paneed veal topped with mozzarella cheese with a creole mushroom meuniere sauce. This veal was fork tender and the serving size was more then generous. (So glad she gave me a full medallion for sampling). I highly recommend this dish. Our server was good to go and I was glad to see they were spacing the tables in order to keep the patrons socially distanced. We had a great time here and will definitely be back.

Yelp
This is an old school New Orleans Creole Italian place that  was in Bucktown for years (and the Quarter before that) and had to relocate to the West End due to the Corps of Engineers work on our levee system after Hurricane Katrina.  Their new location is a lot nicer with better space than their old cramped space so the move has been a blessing for them.  I've only eaten lunch here as dinner often gets really crowded and every time I've attempted dinner there has been a long wait. They have a good selection of local seafood dishes and po'boys along with the usual Italian options.  The seafood gumbo is ok while they sometimes are a bit stingy with the red gravy on some of the pasta dishes.  The service has always been friendly and efficient at keeping my drink filled. They have a pretty decent lasagna here and the prices are reasonable.  I rarely ate here when they were in Bucktown because R&O's was right across the street and really the only time I ended up at Two Tony's was when the line was too long at R&O's.  This is still a good place to grab some decent Italian for lunch and it might be nice for dinner too but I've yet to experience their dinner menu as the wait has been too long every time I've attempted it. Overall this is a decent spot to eat some New Orleans Creole Italian food and seafood. My video review of Two Tony's is here: https://youtu.be/e0wI2milvzc

Yelp
I've been here now multiple times and have had an excellent experience on each occasion. Best meatballs and spaghetti in the city. In the past, I've also really enjoyed the grilled fish and lasagna. The service also has always been on point from the bar and wait staff to those who clear the tables. It's a well run ship from top to bottom. Thank you again for making my time in New Orleans special.

Yelp
The food was so fresh and delicious. Meatballs were huge and the marinara was very yummy. Hubby loved the spicy shrimp fettuccine. Said it has just the right amount of spice. Haven't been here in a very long time but definitely will be back soon. Regina was our server and she was fantastic. Sanitizer was readily available and cleaning was definitely in my place. Masks policy being followed.

Yelp
The West End is a New Orleans neighborhood just south of Lake Pontchartrain. Seafood and boating are big influences here, and I saw quite a few suburban looking single-family houses and some condominium complexes as we drove around. No doubt, Two Tony's is a favorite of the nearby residents. It most definitely has a "hometown feel", the bar and lounge are very welcoming, and the food is both very good and very fairly priced. I was visiting the local chapter of a professional organization I belong to and attended their monthly dinner meeting at Two Tony's. They did a wonderful job feeding our party of 30. We had a group choice of seven meals (!) and the dinners were cooked to order. The choices were Chicken Parmesan, Eggplant Parmesan, Manicotti, Shrimp Fettucine, Grilled Chicken Salad, Spaghetti and Meatballs, and a Catfish Poboy. I went for the Poboy (fried thin-cut catfish in seasoned corn flour breading - $8.95) "fully dressed" which I learned means with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and mayo) for a mere $0.75 surcharge. It was an enormous sandwich on what seemed like half a loaf of Italian bread with plenty of fish fillets and the fully dressed add-ons. It was excellent! The bread, the fillets, the dressings -stellar. It was nice seeing a different kind of New Orleans restaurant -a place the locals enjoy and where tourists (except for us) were pretty scarce.

Maria O.

Yelp
Friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere, and delicious Italian food. The manicotti was yummy, served with a sweet red gravy. The kiddies enjoyed the meatball and spaghetti.

Dominic S.

Yelp
I had an idea excellent meal last night. The chicken parmigiana and the Lasagne were both delicious. It is a pleasure every time I eat there.

Yelp
Two Tony's was an excellent choice for dinner! We started with Fried Calamari and Crabmeat Stuffed Mushrooms which were delicious--it only came with four total. I selected the Chicken Breast Parmesan as my entreé, and the chicken was awesome! I recommend making a reservation if you're planning on going between 5pm-7pm.

Stanton M.

Yelp
We visited Two Tony's on the first Friday of Lent. My go-to dishes at 2 Tony's are the Italian specialties with meat: Lasagna, Veal, Meatballs... I was pleasantly surprised that the fried seafood platter was on par with the best seafood restaurants in New Orleans. The oysters, shrimp & fish were perfectly cooked! Not greasy, not overly battered, just perfect. Long ago, we discovered that 2 Tony's has the best French Onion Soup in town, so I should not have been so surprised at the perfect fried seafood. Both Toonys - Keep up the good work.

Damian M.

Yelp
First time here. Went on an invite from family members. Food was great. I had veal parm and wife had chicken parm. Both were excellent although sauce was a little sweet which I like! Server was excellent. Very friendly, funny and attentive. Made reservations which I advise. Service was very quick and dishes came out when they were supposed too. Appetizer, salads, main course then dessert! I am stickler about main course coming out when we're still eating appetizers/salads, etc. The ambiance was great. Will be back. I want to try some seafood there!
google avatar

Kaitlyn L.

Yelp
Ate here for Good Friday! They had many Lenten options and they accommodated my order well with grilled shrimp instead of fried for the friend shrimp platter! The shrimp was well cooked and it came with a slice of lemon! Their takeout was quick and convenient with workers taking measures to keep clean and social distance!

Marion C.

Yelp
Dec of 2022. My first time eating here. Very much enjoyed. Delicious food, great service and cozy relaxed atmosphere. Definitely will return for repeat.

Yelp
After a lot of back and forth on deciding where to go eat, my mom recommended that we check out Two Tony's. I had been in this building many years ago when it was a different restaurant. I have a fond memory of watching a 7 overtime game with my grandfather when I had been in this building before. So it was fun to reminisce that experience. The first take away I had when we first got there was that it was good for kids. They had high chairs readily available and a separate kids menu that we could quickly decide on... which is very handy when you have two hungry two year olds. The adults at the table had eaten lunch pretty late in the day so none of us were particularly hungry. So we decided to get a few appetizers to split and each of us get our own soup. I went with the baked French Onion soup because it is one of my favorites and I don't typically see it on a lot of menus. As for the appetizers, we got the stuffed mushrooms, the onion rings and the calamari. All of them were fantastic in their own way. The mushrooms were full of delicious crab meat and the fried items were extremely fresh and not over battered. I look forward to a trip to Two Tony's when I am much hungrier to explore the entree side of things.

Yelp
This is one of those places that I've passed dozens of times, over the years, and always wondered about. When the opportunity presented itself to eat here, I was excited. This is a pretty old school type of place and the restaurant definitely has that "my grandparents probably used to be regulars here" type of feel. Strangely enough, the restaurant wasn't as packed as the full parking lot would suggest, when I visited. I decided to start with the French onion soup and Caesar side salad and I got the lasagna as my entree. French onion soup- This was great! I'm a huge fan of FOS and their version is really good. It came out piping hot and topped with a generous serving of melted cheese. It was a great start to the meal. Caesar salad- This was a pretty basic, no-frills Caesar salad, and that's okay. The lettuce was crispy and good and I thought the dressing was nice without being too tart, as some other Caesar dressings tend to be. Lasagna- Okay, so I hadn't had lasagna in years, so when I saw it on the menu I was quick to order it. Their version comes with Italian sausage, ground beef, marinara and a five cheese blend all served in what is basically a skillet. The portion is huge and easily big enough for two people, especially if you get apps. I really liked it, but I had one complaint- TOO MUCH marinara. I like marinara as much as the next person, but the lasagna was drowned in it and I actually didn't taste much else other than the sauce. I saw the meat and cheese, but there was a lot of tomato happening here. If I go back, I would definitely ask them not to dump all of the marinara on top and maybe give it to me on the side. Other than that, I loved it and I would totally recommend it- sauce on the side is an easy enough fix. The staff was friendly and had everything out in a timely manner, although I think my lasagna did take a little longer than an average entree would take, but it was worth it.

Yelp
Seafood platter not worth it you pay $30 for 4shrimp 4oysters basically very skimpy plate & platter

Yelp
Always a go to authentic Italian Family staple. Always get the meatballs! That sauce!

Yelp
A friend and I came to Two Tony's for dinner and it was excellent. We had the fried calamari which was superb along with the Italian salad that was filled with antipasto and a great dressing. When the entrees came they were surprisingly smaller than what you would get at most Italian joints around town but we didn't need a big entree since we had apps. My friend had the meatballs which were so tender and delicious they fell apart when your fork touched them. I had the veal parm which was again excellent. Only negative was we didn't get our garlic bread until after we ate our entree for some reason. They didn't take it off the bill so we at it in place of dessert and it was also excellent.
google avatar

Christine L.

Yelp
We had the chicken parm the gulf fish of day which was Mahi and was very please both dishes were very tasty. I love the red gravy. I had the French onion soup which was very delicious. My significant other he had the sweet potato and andouille sausage soup and that was outta this wooded good. I tasted it and I'm not a fan of sweet potato but omg it was good. We also had the friend crab stuffed mushrooms one word yummy!!

Yelp
Coming from Northern California to survey a yacht I am in contract to buy and having a shellfish allergy I didn't have high hopes for New Orleans cuisine. This place is amazing. They'd be booked for reservations weeks to months in advance if they were in San Francisco Bay or surrounding communities. The veal was phenomenal, no pieces were too tough or too fatty. The mojitos are absolutely perfect and made from scratch. Holy shit. This place should be on your must visit list if eating out in New Orleans.

Yelp
I've loved this place back when it was at the end of Lake avenue and Old Hammond hwy. Italian is my favorite and eating out at the lakefront makes for a perfect evening. I highly recommend the veal parmigiana. No worries if you don't eat veal, there are plenty of other options. For dessert try the Spumomi that they get directly from Angelo Broccato's. Service has always been great. Very prompt and friendly.

Steve R.

Yelp
I usually don't like writing bad reviews for restaurants. But what I dislike more is wasting my money. My wife and I decided to visit this restaurant recently. It was on a Friday evening about 1.5 hours before closing. The dinning room was about 25% capacity. My wife and I decided to get the fried zucchini sticks appetizer. The service was ok (not good or bad) about average. The zucchini sticks looked like frozen bagged sticks that you would purchase from the grocery store. When we cut into them - the batter would sheet flake off. It appeared to be frozen sticks from a bag just thrown into the fryer and plated. And tasted that way as well. We decided to order the French Onion soup next. The soup was so salty we almost sent it back. The salt flavor was so strong we almost were not able to eat it. For our main course, we order the Eggplant Parmesan. The eggplant rounds were perfectly symmetrical consistent with frozen mass produced varieties. Each slice was the exact same circumference. And just as the zucchini sticks had flaked sheet batter so did the eggplant slices. It was not good. Our server was nice enough, but during the between serving our entrees and bringing our check - she must have taken a smoke break. The bill folded holder stunk of cigarettes smoke when she brought our bill to our table. As a non-smoker I found the smell overwhelming and repulsive. She must have kept the receipt holders in her apron when she took her smoke break. Our experience was very disappointing. We expected fresh ingredients from a local Italian restaurant. I rarely never give a restaurant a second chance. But it will be while before returning to this one.

Yelp
Service was excellent but the food was just fair. I had an Artichoke Salad and ordered the Meatballs with marinara sauce. The lettuce was on the soft side and very cold, not fresh. The Artichoke was plentiful but the dressing was unexpectedly bland. I expected the entree to be really tasty but it was just okay.

Yelp
I came here for the first time this week and I really enjoyed myself. I was set to get the meatballs and spaghetti there was a special called the veal scallopini. The super friendly and sweet waitress, I wish I remembered her name because she was excellent, described the dish so well that she changed my mind. The specials are about $20-something to $30 something in price range, BUT you get alot of food! You get a choice of soup OR salad, unlimited, bread, the entree and a side. I couldn't believe that pasta alfredo was a side! Normally that is an entree! So, of course I ordered that as my side... none of this green beans or potatoes nonsense hehe So, the table ordered onion rings and those onion rings were perfectly crispy and delicious. I got the soup of the day which was a shrimp bisque and it was quite tastey and hardy, perfect for the chilly, wet weather we were having that day. Then my entree came, the veal scallopini. The sauce on top was so good, I wanted to pour it in a cup and drink it. I chose to dip my bread in it instead which was close to satisfying my wanting to drink it need. The veal was kind of soggy, I hate to admit, but it was still good. I think it may have been covered under the yummy sauce for too long. The scallops were just ok as were the mushrooms. I did enjoy my side of pasta alfredo and pretty much cleaned all my plates. It was alot of food and I was the only one at the table to finish it all. I loved the service and the decor was fun too. The dinning rooms were split in two, with the words Big Tony written on top of the entry way to the second dinning space that seems to be used for large groups. It is a large restaurant with decent parking and very clean too. I plan to go back so I can try those meatballs next time!

Yelp
I am right in the middle of the road here. The parking lot is ample. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays. I would think they would do a lot of business on Sundays, but I am not a business owner. There is outdoor seating on the front porch. Walking in, the hostess stand is immediately to your right, the bar is to the left, and the dining room is on your right. They do evidently have poker machines in an enclosed room. Everything is neat and clean, if a bit dark. The restrooms are neat, clean and well stocked. Last night, I had their special, which was the seafood lasagne. Layers of cheese, noodles, shrimp, crawfish, clams and yummy-ness that when I couldn't finish, it reheated nicely for lunch today. The rest of the food is just ok. You can expect the same at any other chain restaurant, which they are not a chain, but it is just the same. They have no sweet tea, but depending on the waitress, they will add simple syrup, though not all of the wait staff will. Pieces of room temperature bread will be served with your meal, with butter that you can add, but it's not warm enough to melt the butter and does not seem to be homemade. I will continue to be an occasional patron, but it isn't going to be a regular visit for me.

Yelp
Decent food, in a casual setting, with good service. We found the place fairly busy at 7:30 on a Saturday evening, but by the time we left at 9:00, we were the only ones there. We were a party of four, who each ordered something different. Consensus was the amberjack was the best of the bunch. The fried shrimp platter was pretty typical for that dish in NOLA, which isn't bad. The capellini agile olio (olive oil) with chicken was the weakest offering of the four. Just blah. I had the special lobster, shrimp & crab au gratin, which was good, but nothing special. It was loaded with crab, but the large pieces were pretty wet, leading me to think they were recently frozen. I expected better for the price. If you're in the area, probably worth stopping in, but I wouldn't venture across town to visit.

Yelp
Twas 3 nights before Christmas and there was no food in our houses, Cuz it had been awhile since we'd gone to Rouse's, We were hungry and where we ate we didnt care, My husband suggested Two Tony's for Italian, So I said, "Lets eat there," The menu offered fried seafood served up on lettuce beds As visions of Italian cuisine and tiramisu danced in our heads, Me in my scarf and my hubby in his cap, Knew that after all these carbs we'd need a nap, So my hubby ordered lasagna and me, the Spicy Shrimp Alfredo, as we threw our healthy diets out of the window, It was all so delicious we gobbled it up in a flash, Too bad all of these calories will go straight to my a$$. We were glad we remembered that this place was around, We now know the place to go when we're Italian cuisine bound! Our lovely waitress heard us exclaim as we drove outta sight, "Happy Christmas to all, and thanks for the delicious grub tonight!"...

Yelp
Old school restaurant with lots of options for the Italian fare. It's not an upscale type place but definitely has an older clientele. The wait staff are attentive and educated on their menu. I didn't have to wait long at all for drinks. I had the mixed greed salad with blue cheese dressing and that was perfectly yummy. Then came the lasagna which had a ton of sauce, and the lasagna had meat within. It was just drowning in red sauce that you couldn't taste the lasagna. My bf had the grilled salmon mes rare with potato salad. The salmon tasted fresh and was cooked perfectly to med rare. The potato salad was done correctly as well. Sorry no pics to post. I would come back if I was in tennis gear, wanted Italian and was in LakeView area.

Yelp
Poor service to me is bad service. The waitress seemed very dos interested after taking her sweet time coming to the table. I ordered soup of the day (must have been fore some other day) because it never came. The eggplant parmigiana did make it to the table but was slightly burnt and under seasoned. The sauce to me was just ok ( and yes I have been to Italy where the know how to make it really good). The check came and I was charged for the soup the waitress offered to take it off but I told her to keep it as her tip. Your call guys as to what kind of place this is up to you. I wouldn't go back. But then I'm not from here and this just my opinion.

Yelp
A Bit Below Average Went here with my son-in-law and daughter for dinner. My report is only on what I ordered which was the catfish platter that included a choice of two sides. I'm a regular cook and foodie; I know what good food is. The catfish was fresh and fried very nicely and it was good. However the side items were below average: corn and crab soup and potato salad. The potato salad was flavorless and hard to wake up any flavor even with hot sauce doused on top. Their corn and crab soup was really an insult to the reputation of that type soup, being it was canned cream corn with a few particles of crab meat in it. I wasn't impressed much with the place though service was excellent.

Yelp
I recently bought a second home in the area and have been here for lunch and dinner. I was totally surprised at how much I enjoyed it! Great menu and food and drinks were delicious! Look forward to returning!

Yelp
Love this place! The food was delicious and we had wonderful service. Ms. Regina, our waiter, knew the specials backwards and forwards. There were also two teenage boys circulating and asking us if we needed anything every 10-15 minutes. They were also very accommodating and nice about us having our 16 month old child with us. Great experience!

Yelp
So good! Definitly recommend if you're looking for good Italian. The red sauce was delicious.
