The Best Things We’ve Eaten Lately

"Pork Dumplings “Look, I love the aubergine as much as the next person. But I’m here to make a case for Tyger Tyger’s handmade dumplings. Slick with chili oil and stuffed with flavorful ground pork, they’re the real crown jewels of this Queen Anne Sichuan spot’s takeout operation. But you should also add a side of fried eggplant because Carlo told you to.” - Aimee Rizzo, Staff Writer" - julia chen 1, carlo mantuano, aimee rizzo

Tyger Tyger Review - Santa Barbara - The Infatuation

"Tyger Tyger is a breezy, casual Southeast Asian restaurant in the Funk Zone that offers a good mix of plant-based and not-so-plant-based options. Everything at this counter-service spot is "vegetable-forward" and served in to-go containers, but the fun decor might make you want to stick around. There’s pink floral wallpaper, there's a cloud ceiling made up of dangling white lanterns, and you feel a nice coastal breeze trickle in as you eat. You can't go wrong with the cha ca la vong, made with turmeric-coated white fish and sweet-salty nuoc cham, but make sure to save room for whatever soft serve flavor they're offering." - Sylvio Martins

The Best Dumplings In Seattle - Seattle - The Infatuation

"This Sichuan spot in Queen Anne serves a great dumpling appetizer, coated with a tangy black vinegar-spiked chili oil and stuffed with seasoned ground pork. It pairs perfectly with Tyger Tyger’s spicy rockfish and putting your feet up on the couch (if you're grabbing takeout)." - Aimee Rizzo

Tyger Tyger Review - Queen Anne - Seattle - The Infatuation

"This Sichuan spot in Queen Anne has a wonderful showing of noodles, rice cakes, and vegetables, but the pork dumplings tossed in black vinegar and chili oil are what won us over. Another highlight is the incredibly flavorful rockfish with sour mustard greens, which has an ideal balance of acidity and heat, and travels particularly well as far as takeout fish goes." - Aimee Rizzo

Service is great! Compare with traditional Chinese cuisine, the taste is a little different, I’d better call it fusion cuisine because every dish mix some elements from other countries. They are not only taste good but also look great! Strongly recommend coming here.

Google
Amazing vegan options and drinks!!! Vegan Dan Dan is spicy and delicious. Veg wontons tasty very freshly made with a nice chewy wrapper and spicy sauce, the salt and pepper tofu was probably my fav, OVERFLOWING with crispy fried garlic and onions. I ate way too much and have no regrets.

Google
Tyger Tyger, located in Queen Anne, Seattle, offers a delightful Sichuan dining experience. The restaurant is praised for its standout dishes like pork dumplings tossed in black vinegar and chili oil, and rockfish with sour mustard greens, which balances acidity and heat perfectly. We enjoyed the silken tofu with mushroom garlic and the honey walnut prawn buns. Very cozy and trendy atmosphere and good for a casual dinner or takeout, consistently providing flavorful dishes that make it a popular choice in this area.

I’ve never been to Seattle. I flew in today from Austin to catch a cruise tomorrow for Alaska. I did some research on the areas restaurants and Tyger Tyger peaked my interest. I had the pork belly bun and the greens (mustard) with chilies and garlic. So good!! Archer, my server, took excellent care of me. He was so sweet and wanted to make sure I enjoyed what Seattle had to offer. This was certainly a great start to my adventure of discovery!!

Google
The dragon fruit cider was excellent. We really loved the pork belly buns and the salt and Sichuan pepper tofu. Atmosphere was great, loved the 80s music. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating.

My husband and I rode our motorcycles up from Tacoma and randomly walked in to the wonderful Saturday night atmosphere at Tyger Tyger! We were welcomed at the door by very warm and polite staff. The drink menu looked interesting so we stayed and sipped. Our bartenders shared genuinely good vibes and before we knew it, the temptation of the menu items had us ordering chicken/shiitake dumplings and pork cilantro dumplings - both were noticeably flavorful. We are already wondering what to order on our next bike night. Thank you for creating memorable and happy experiences at Tyger Tyger ❤️

Google
Really good place to try Sichuan food (especially for the first time), friendly staff and a nice little outdoor seating area for al fresco dining. The numbing stuff is aptly named, it's hot but not sweating coughing spicy hot. I'd recommend something sweet (like the eggplant) as a refuge from the spicy stuff.

Google
Love the flavor and service is prompt. Nice spot to hang out before a hickey game or concert at climate pledge. Prepare to pay for parking as street parking are hard to find.

Yelp
Wow! Big portions, flavor galore, such a great meal and worth every penny! I came here with my friend who's vegan, and we both agreed this place was great! She was also happy there were several vegan options for her. Must get: the carrot and cabbage dumplings were amazing, wonderful presentation and exploding with flavor that was well balanced. We split the dumplings but I could've ate the order myself. However, the star was the Pacific cod with sour mustard greens. The fish was perfectly cooked, flaky and melted in your mouth. It was in sichuan chili oil and came with cabbage and picked mustard greens. Such a wonderful dish. You have to order it if you come here. You won't be disappointed. You may want to order a side a rice or if you want to eat it with something other than the veggies. The garlic 3-way fried rice was also tasty. If you love garlic this dish is for you. I would rank it third out of all the dishes we tried but it was still very tasty. It's a big portion size so enough for two people. I ate it with the cod and it was lovely. It is a bit spicy, so beware if you can't handle spice. 10/10 would recommend coming here. Great restaurant!

Yelp
This place was suggested as a must in multiple discussion threads on the internet. Service was fine. Friendly staff and nothing wrong with the service. Prices are typical for a restaurant by an arena. You know the costs are gonna be jacked up from location alone. One issue we had was that there were so many fruit flies flying around our indoor table (table was away from windows etc). Secondly, the food is a bit on the overly-salty side. My wife and I love this kind of food and found that far smaller and more affordable restaurants could match or beat the taste. The drinks were done well but expect a typical overly expensive experience on those because, again, location. Hard to write such a mediocre review when the staff was this friendly, but for the money we spent, I think it's reasonable to expect insect control of some sort and better quality food.

Yelp
**vegetarian review** I was pleasantly surprised by how vegan friendly the menu is here. My friends and I got green beans, vegan Dan Dan, mushroom bun and salt pepper tofu. Food was very quick to arrive, the host was super friendly! Everything was tasty - a little on the saltier side but goes well with a side of rice. Definitely recommend if you are in the area!

Yelp
We love the food here, so came for lunch. I ended up seating myself and didn't see a host till she walked in 10 min later. Then waited to order. Soft shell crab fried rice was great as usual, and good prawn and chive dumplings. We finally had to go ask for our check and take it to her in order to leave. There were only 1 or 2 other tables there while we were.

Yelp
This place is near the climate pledge area and usually busy during game days. They have reservation available and I advise to book in advance just to be sure. We were seated pretty quickly and give time to look at the menu. The place was busy and we order dumplings and Dan Dan noodles. The quantity was great and the service was fast, the food came in very little time and did not have to wait for long. The food was average at best. The dumplings were not that great but the noodles were better not the best I have tried. The place is nice has plenty of seating also looked like there was outside seating.

Yelp
We visited on a Friday around 6:15 PM, and the place was already quite busy with only a few tables available. Our server was very friendly and took the time to introduce the specials. The menu was fairly limited, so we ordered the pork dumplings and the Tan Tan noodles. The noodles were tasty, but I found the dumplings a bit lacking in flavor. Overall, it was a decent meal.

Yelp
Came here for dinner before a concert at Climate Pledge. Even though it was busy, we were seated fairly quickly. It was slightly cold with the door opening and closing. Unfortunately they were out of the items we wanted most, but we found some tasty alternatives. The dumplings were good, as were the brussel sprouts. And it was a super short walk to the Arena afterwards. We'd definitely come back and try the other items on the menu.

Yelp
In for dinner. We lucked out just walking in. Best make reservations. Especially if there is a show at CP or the theater. Ran out of dumplings. Ugh. Ordered the spicy chicken, garlic fried rice and pork belly buns. The spice on the chicken and rice made my tongue sizzle when I drank my tea. It was like my beverage was carbonated. Very odd. Chicken was my favorite. Lightly breaded on top of a mix of veggies, greens, and spicy peppers. Nice meal overall.

Yelp
The food was delicious, had great indoor seating, and all the worker were very nice and friendly. Over all had a great experience there would definitely recommend.

Yelp
We came out of state to go here since it was on the way near the Space Needle. We had pretty high expectations because the pictures were great. We got the baby back ribs and the soft crab curry fried rice. The ribs tasted like candy because it was hard rather than falling off the bone type of ribs. The sauce was extra sweet which caught us off guard since we weren't used to it. It could be an acquired taste for some. The fried rice was really good and the crab was my favorite. It was so crunchy and tasty. Lots of flavor. The only thing I would say is that it gets salty towards the bottom of the rice and the lotus roots are crunchy which I felt was random in the rice. The waiters though were very nice and sweet. Came by to check on us. The place had great ambience too
google avatar

Yelp
The ambiance is dark, moody, and sexy. Dim lighting and bookshelves with decor. Lots of black decor. It looks like a great date night spot. We walked in pretty soon after they opened. So we were lucky enough to get a table without reservation. The place quickly filled up by the time we left. The two women working the bar/hostess stand were very friendly. We ordered the thrice cooked pork belly, soft crab fried rice, mushroom buns, and one drink. The total came out to about $90 after tax and tip. The buns were generously stuffed. I really enjoyed them but recognize that the green sauce isn't for everyone. I'd highly recommend ordering some sort of carb like rice to go with the pork belly. It helped to balance out the flavors. Otherwise it can be too much eating it as is. The soft shell crab curry fried rice was my favorite of the night. The crab was tasty! It was also mild enough to pair well with the pork belly. Dessert menu coming soon. I see why this place is trending and popular!

Yelp
Easy 4.5 stars!! First time in and sitting down for food, have come for a few years for their espresso martinis that are fire every time! Hubz & I wanted to try everything! We ordered Brussels sprouts with Chinese sausage, Garlic fried rice, honey walnut prawn buns, beef pepper, & prawn dumplings. I devoured the garlic fresh ginger fried rice [Hubz liked but not his fave]!! We both voted the honey walnut prawn bun as the BEST! Pepper beef also delish without being too spicy, heavy pepper as advertised and on point. Our order for two was way too much. Service prompt with reservation and attentive and friendly for entire dining g experience. We will be back!

Yelp
I'm hesitant to give this place a lower rating because the service is wonderful, and the ambiance comfortable especially with the windows open. However, the food is...eclectic and confusing (aka really not good 2 stars maybe). They dishes appear to be Chinese/Asian fusion, but don't taste right/great. First of, I have to be honest, I dislike ginger, and almost every dish we tried has a ton of ginger (green beans, cod, etc.) Our table's favorite dish was Honey Walnut Prawn Buns, which has creamy sweet prawns inside a soft bun. Another dish that was decent was the Mala Chicken, which tasted like "BBQ flavored potato chips with a kick" according to the Bristish guy. Other than these two though, I can't say I enjoyed any of the other dishes. The worst was Cod with Sour Musturd Green ($24, extremely sweet sauce, super super sour cabbage on the bottom, which was practically inedible after the first bite). Garlic fried rice with chicken was also bad, with overcooked and dry rice, and this unpleasant bitterness throughout the entire dish. Fried Eggplant with Sweet Cumin Glaze has well fried eggplant, but the glaze is super sweet with a strong cumin taste, such a strange combo! Tbh I'm quiet disappointed by the taste of the food, and wouldn't recommend coming if you are looking for decent food.

Yelp
Loved this sichuan place near Seattle Center! Everything here was delicious! Got the dan dan mian noodles, mala chicken, and pork dumplings (not pictured). I loved the chili oil in the dumplings and the spiciness of all the dishes! Their cocktails are yummy too! I loved the variety on the drinks menu. This place is perfect for a date night or with friends! If you love sichuan, this is a great place to check out

Yelp
I went to Tyger Tyger on a Thursday night with a reservation for 7:15pm for 3. To start off, I would definitely recommend checking to see if there are any events happening at Climate Pledge before you go in case you're driving there. I happened to go the same night as a Kraken game and finding parking nearby was a struggle! Now onwards to the actual restaurant. It's a very nice restaurant, a bit of a darker interior and well designed. My friends and I ordered the garlic 3 way fried rice, blistered green beans, and thrice cooked pork. All three were yummy! I especially enjoyed the pork belly, it was so well cooked and seasoned. I was expecting the food to be spicy, but that was not the case! The service was great too, our waitress was kind and attentive the entire time we were there. I would definitely come back on a non-event night to eat here again

Yelp
3.5 Stars. Came on a Saturday evening. The menu had so much promise. Dumplings, baos, noodles, rice, and protein dishes - all my favorite things. Hits: -Soft Shell Crab Curry Fried Rice ($24) - Salty and delicious with lots of pieces of fried soft shelled crab. -Dan Dan Noodles ($16) - Super soft noodles in a flavorful sauce and minced pork. -Yunnan Ginger Mint Beef ($25) - I tried a few pieces and they were flavorful and succulent. Mixed/Okay: -Honey Walnut Prawn Buns ($10) - The table was raving over these but mine wasn't very flavorful. -Pork Belly Buns ($10) - Nothing too bad but I've just had better, more flavorful / fatty buns. And the pork was not as tender as I usually prefer. -Sichuan Pepper Tofu ($18) - These needed the dipping sauce it came with. Misses: -Chicken and Shitake Dumplings ($16) - these were somewhat disappointing :( It just lacked flavor. Loved the filling to wrapper ratio though. Nice portions. Staff was polite. Interior is trendy and stylish. Cocktail menu looked awesome too.

Yelp
I thought I'd reviewed this restaurant when it first opened, but evidently not. At that time I would have given it 4.5/5 stars. Now, I'd give it 3.5 stars (rounded up to 4). The food is hit and miss now. Sometimes it's still as good as I remember it being, but sometimes it isn't. One example (of several): I almost always get dan dan noodles. Sometimes they come out pretty well, but sometimes they come out with the noodles congealed into a giant clump. My hypothesis is that in an effort to expand in scale to serve arena event-goers, quality has suffered. They also seem really understaffed now. Last time I went (a weekend evening), they had one person acting as host, waiter, and bartender when I first got there. Hopefully, if they can address staffing, the food issues will also get better.

Yelp
TYGER TYGER...WILL BE COMING BACK HERE! An early 5:30 pm dinner here because the sun sets at basically 3 pm...so while the restaurant was empty, it made this first time dining even more intimate. My sister and I have watched to try this place all of forever, so it was so great we finally got to go. Our order (which we scraped clean): Honey Walnut Prawn Buns (highlight) Prickly Pear Mocktail (highlight) & Mango Mocktail Chicken & Shitake Dumpling (mushroom flavor very subtle) Pork Belly Buns Dan Dan Man (uses pepper that numbs your mouth!) Green Beans (highlight) Notes: Dessert menu is TBD and currently being worked on! Plates are good for sharing, and while it seems like there isn't a lot of food, it's very filling and satisfied my family of 4. Menu is small, so it's important you go knowing that this is Szechuan cuisine!

Yelp
I overall like this place, I just feel flavor-wise most of my favorite things here taste similar--that asian spicy chili oil. Something that I love about this restaurant is the number of vegetarian/vegan options that they offer. I'd say their ambiance is slightly upscale; kind of like a date night feel. I've tried: Dan Dan Mian--I somehow thought that Dan Dan Mians were supposed to be on the bland side. This one is packed with flavor--spicy peanut buttery flavor Rockfish w/Sour Mustard Greens--I love this dish but very spicy Prawn/Chive Dumpling--This was tasty, also spicy I think overall you need to enjoy spice to eat here--walking distance if you're catching something at Climate Pledge.

Yelp
Friendly staff, tasty food, served family style, perfect for a group that likes to share. Veg dumplings and soft shell crab rice were both very good, but the green beans were my fave. Sadly, I didn't love the cod which came in a thick, sour sauce and not as much pickled mustard green as I had hoped. Loved the Asian-spin they put on classic cocktails. The yellow negroni was very tasty; would order it again. Fine option if you are in the area.

Yelp
Came here before the concert next door at Climate Pledge. Food was pretty good, portions were perfectly sized. The coffee drink on the menu was a little like a mudslide.
google avatar

Christopher R.

Yelp
Disappointed. We ordered a rice dish and a fish dish.... Hey that rhymes. The rice came 5-10 minutes before the fish. We were early so only a couple of people in the restaurant so I am not sure why they couldn't get them out together. The food was okay, nothing driving me back to visit again. The rockfish had a good flavor but would have been better with sticky rice. Hard to eat with chop sticks. The atmosphere was nice. The place looked clean with an impressive wine wall. The waitress was friendly and helpful but it got busy before more employees showed up so it took awhile to get the bill
google avatar

Rachel S.

Yelp
We were starving after Folklife and stumbled in here. We were seated quickly (but we just beat the crowd! Looks like it can get very busy). I can honestly say that our waiter was maybe the nicest waiter in all of Seattle! So attentive and friendly, with good suggestions. The carrot cabbage dumplings were flavorful and our overall favorite thing. I got the silken tofu with mushroom. I loved the generous pieces of mushroom and lotus root. I eat really low salt at home so this may just be me, but it did seem a little on the salty side. My boyfriend enjoyed his fried rice. The space is a little cramped but stylish and well used. I really appreciated all of the vegan options!! We don't drink, but the cocktails looked so fun and colorful!

Yelp
Love the dan dan noodles and the dumplings. Michelle is amazing and their cocktail list is very creative. Wish they stayed open later...

Yelp
Met a friend pre-Kraken and ate at the bar. Had the wings, Brussels and something else...all delicious. Service at bar was quick & friendly.

Yelp
That sustained tingle of sichuan pepper is intoxicating and if you ask your server they'll give you an entire tray of dipping, numbing sauces! We had the Prawn & Chive Dumpling and Hot Mala Chicken. Loved the service from Kallie! Drinks are fab too! This is a must visit if you're into chic Chinese Sichuan spots, which we totally are and will be when we visit again SOON with more friends!

Yelp
Mediocre fusion food, probably aimed towards tourists. Service is 10/10 the server is very helpful and polite. Checks in a lot and makes table feel welcomed. Ambiance is nice, napkins are thick.

Yelp
OMG. My mouth is salivating just thinking about this meal. I've heard getting into this place has quite a wait especially on event days at the Climate Pledge, I would suggest making a reservation if you can. I made a reservation and got seated right away. I can tell this place just stays busy because of its proximity to the arena so the service was OK. I had to flag down a server a couple of times for water, to get another round of drinks but it wasn't horrible because we weren't in a rush. The food and drinks themselves would be the reason I would return. This place is SPICY and I loved it. I could've easily downed two ordered of the Honey Walnut Buns... OMG. The dan dan noodles are spicy and numbing. I probably wouldn't mix with alcohol just left a weird feeling in my stomach hahaha (maybe it's a personal issue) but it quite literally does numb your lips and tongue. I can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered the low hanging fruit cocktail and espresso martini. Flavors were good on both and the drinks were very strong. Food wise we got the garlic fried rice, pork belly buns and salt and pepper tofu. Tofu dish was by far the best and tastiest item we had. Pork belly buns were average and garlic fried rice I would not recommend. Service was good the waitress was very attentive and we had no issues. Came on a Wednesday during an event near Climate Pledge Arena and it was packed. Would recommend getting a reservation if you are considering dining here. Inside the restaurant was clean and the bathroom was well kept. Overall ambiance was good.

Nicole D.

Yelp
OH MY GOODNESS!! I cannot say enough about this amazing restaurant!! Very classy, clean, and well-decorated. We ordered the vegetarian dumplings and the vegan Dan Dan noodles. Both were incredible!! The vinegar and numbing chili oil sauce for the dumplings was truly out of this world, we savored every last drop. The Dan Dan noodles were amazing too, the beyond meat was so moist and the sauce was rich and flavorful. Our server Michelle was so friendly, welcoming, and funny and made this experience great! I would definitely come back here and would recommend this to anyone seeking Sichuan cuisine in the area :)
google avatar

Ani A.

Yelp
I ordered the chongqing mala chicken for the first time and finished the entire plate including every single chili. Yes my tongue was burning. Yes the dish is amazing. I usually get the scallop prawn gungbao (which is also a must try with a side of rice) but glad I tried this new dish that I'm now infatuated with. I was enjoying it so much that I forgot to take a photo but got a pic of their yellow Negroni which was perfectly balanced. I love bitter cocktails that aren't too sugary and this fit the bill perfectly. Look how majestic it looks in its golden glory. Attentive, friendly, approachable staff. Cool neighborhood spot with delicious food and drinks. Can't go wrong no matter what you order.
google avatar

Raye T.

Yelp
Love the ambiance of this place and the service. They're welcoming, attentive, and very helpful if you have questions about the menu. The only set back is while the seasoning of the food is on point, the meat in several dishes this evening were overcooked. The short ribs were dry and the chicken shiitake dumplings were too. Otherwise, a great experience.
google avatar

Tyler L.

Yelp
Being right next to the arena, this is a very busy spot and I recommend getting a reservation, as there is always events going on. We were seated quickly (had a reservation) and service was excellent. Staff is very attentive and makes sure everything is okay consistently. The restaurant itself is very clean and very inviting, the entrance opening right into the dining room does create a chill for all the tables near it when the door opens though. Food was impressive, remaining authentic in terms of flavor and familiarity but lives up to its hype with the quality. Some of the best dumplings I've tried, and the dan dan mian and pork belly were very enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area or have an event at Climate Pledge.

Yelp
My friend and I just got done watching the watch party for the Kraken game and we wanted to have some good food! We were really excited about the food here but when we had our first bite, I feel like I just wanted my time and tummy space as well as my money. The beef, the Dan Dan noodles, and the fried rice were all incredibly disgusting. I don't know how it's possible, but I felt so disgusted with every bite of any of them. I literally had 5 bites and I just had to stop because I couldn't punish myself for picking a place such as this one. This is one of those places where I would not even hesitate to say that I will never ever go back here.

PandS G.

Yelp
We have been coming here for abot 2 years and it has been consistantly great. Even simple dishes like string beans or bok choy stand out for their flavors. And of course the ribs! I can't say enough about them. Without a doubt the best I have ever tasted. On our last visit we tried a new item on the menu - fried oyster mushroom in a steam bun. Excellent. Certainly worth a try. We usually go mid-day so it's very calm and the service is superb. Can't recommend it enough.

Yelp
I found this place on Yelp after looking for a restaurant within walking distance to the Cornish Playhouse. The decor is dark, classy, and inviting with the gold painted wall, dark furniture, and red paint. Archer was our server, and he immediately made us feel so welcomed. He walked us through the menu, made recommendations, was incredibly friendly and made our experience so much more enjoyable We ordered pork belly buns, thrice cooked pork belly, short ribs, and tofu. It was all so DELICIOUS! The ribs were our favorite and the absolutely best shortribs we have ever had!! We will definitely recommend Tyger Tyger to our friends!

Yelp
Stopped by at dinner time for a date night. The service from the door to the table was very welcoming and professional. Our waitress made sure to check on us throughout the meal. The food was delicious, and priced/portioned fairly. I would definitely recommend the brussel sprouts and the soft shell crab fried rice.
google avatar

David H.

Yelp
In Seattle on a business trip and was talk by a friend to check this place out. After having mediocre soup dumplings at a more well known place, Tyger Tyger was exactly what I was hoping for. Very friendly and helpful staff. They knew the menu and gave me good advice. I order the pork dumplings with tobiko, which was insanely good and the pop from fish eggs added a lot to the experience. I also ordered the softshell crab fried rice. I really enjoyed this and would get it again, however, I would go back and explore the menu as much as I can. It was a quiet night, but had a nice intimate atmosphere.

Yelp
So it wasn't ~bad~ but it certainly wasn't good. We were in the area and this looked like an upscale chinese/Asian place based on the menu. The dishes sounded and looked good, but the taste just wasn't there. The best dish we had was the tantan noodles. The noodles had a good chew and the sauce/meat was flavorful. Kind of standard, but good. The rest of the dishes all had pretty big issues. The thrice cooked pork belly was cooked to the point of being dry and flavor was light other than the veggies mixed in. The garlic fried rice tasted gummy and the flavor didn't penatrate, it was just garlic on top of poor rice in the end. We didn't finish which is saying a lot for us. The fried salted tofu looked really good with lots of fried garlic and onion pieces. The tofu itself was overly hard and I think it was sugared (on purpose? Still odd given the dry hard tofu inside). We ended up eating the fried garlic mixed into the fried rice to at least get some worth out of the rice. We won't go back. Looks good, service was OK, not nearly worth the price.

Yelp
I've stopped into Tyger Tyger a few times over the past couple years and have had okay experiences. Their menu is majority spicy dishes, so keep that in mind when you're stopping in. My favorite thing was their rice cakes, but last time I was there, they took it off the menu. Personally, I find the food to be too greasy and there isn't really anything on the menu to balance that out. Not my go-to in the area, but if you love spicy Chinese dishes, stop in and give it a shot.

Yelp
A fun little restaurant within prime distance to pre-funk prior to a concert at the Climate Pledge Arena. The drinks were delicious and the food was good. Some of the dishes tasted similar just in a different format/presentation (ex: Dan Dan vs Dumplings). The only downside of visiting this restaurant during a concert/show night now is how crowded it can get. For people to get in and out of seats, there may be some table shuffling. Over all, still a good place to try.

Yelp
Food here was fantastic! You must make reservations because it gets super busy especially the day of a hockey game. We came here about an hour and a half before puck drop to have a nice meal and a drink. Smaller menu served family style with great flavors. The Kraken Gong Show drink was very tasty. I loved the Honey Walnut Prawn Buns , they were picture perfect and tasted just as great! The YUNNAN CHILI BEEF was hands down my favorite thing. Disclosure Brussels are not my thing but everyone else at the table seemed to enjoy them and my husband said I had to at least try the sausage that accompanied them (BRUSSEL SPROUTS WITH CHINESE SAUSAGE). Next up were the delicious PORK & TOBIKO DUMPLINGS. I could have taken down this whole plate of these bad boys myself. Perfect blend of spice and flavor. Last up was the GARLIC 3-WAY FRIED RICE it had chicken, garlic oil, fried garlic, garlic chili confit, egg, green onions. The rice was a little hard to pick up with the chop sticks because it wasn't sticky or clumped at all. Flavor was good despite all the garlic, it was not overwhelming. I'm super thankful for that since we were heading across to the hockey game to scream and shout!! Overall a wonderful meal, like I mentioned make reservations because it gets super busy and packed inside. Noise level gets pretty loud as well.

Yelp
Ambiance is really cute, and the waitress was super kind. Food was so good, I recommend the pork ribs, and pork belly buns were really yummy. The dan dan noodles were also good, but could be spicier.

Yelp
This place knows how to season! The wings were the most interesting part of our meal and the one item we all collectively couldn't stop talking about. Our mouths were tingling from the flavor and spice in the best way possible. The Brussel sprouts and green beans were a close second of the group favorites. The wings fell off the bone and we're really sweet yet delicious. Overall great food here but definitely come with a reservation if you can. We walked in with a group of 5 and got a drink at the bar while we waited for a table & they definitely forgot about us.

Yelp
Vegetable dumplings were delicious! But their honey walnut bao buns were the star of the show!

Yelp
i've eaten here twice. the first time was great but I wasn't crazy about the food the second time - it was way too salty! we ordered the pork noodles and it was too much pork, not enough noodles. waiter was a little rushed and couldn't seem to keep up with tables because it was a Seattle Storm basketball game day and the restaurant was a little busy. also the drinks were watered down. since we came on a game day we were dressed in sports attire but the atmosphere was casual so it wasn't a big deal.

Yelp
Run don't want for their crab fried rice and espresso martinis. I've honest a few work dinners and dates here and it's still my favorite quiet spot. Service is always great and the food is always timely.

Yelp
This attractively turned out spot is just a short walk from Seattle Center and all of the surrounding venues, including the symphony, ballet, and theaters. It was easy to get seated and our host, Kayleigh (sorry don't know how to spell it but deserves a shoutout), was definitely the "host with the most," - had the whole place to take care of, including tending bar, and did so with consummate grace. We ordered an Old Fashioned because it had such an interesting twist on the ingredients, with baijiu (Chinese rice liquor). The drink itself was a symphony of flavors, so intriguing and fun. You put it to your mouth and you get a whiff of orange peel, then layers of whiskey, maple, licorice. A great drink that you can sip on for some time. We ordered the vegan veggie dumplings for an appetizer. We felt the wrappers could have been a bit softer. Definitely get the hot sauce on the side (thank you for giving us that option!). For entrees, the garlic fried rice, which is an apparent favorite as everyone around us was ordering it (we didn't like how soft the garlic was, to the point of losing flavor; however the rice itself was cooked to a tee and very flavorful; the chicken on top was a treat if perhaps a tad over-dry); also the ginger mint beef which I thought was delicious - I loved how you could taste each and every ingredient, which I'm going to call Tyger Tyger's trademark - however the spouse found it too much. I think perhaps if you walk into this charming spot expecting straight up Chinese food, you will find it hard to match expectation with reality. However, if you walk in ready for the chef to surprise you, you'll have fun.
