"Uchi has proven to be such a reliable special occasion meal all over the country, with beloved locations in Austin, LA, and Miami. So we’re optimistic about their newest arrival in Florida: Uchiko. The menu will overlap a lot with Uchi and include some new yakitori dishes. It’s supposed to open in Sunset Harbour in early 2025 and will be the first east coast location of Uchiko (there are two locations already in Austin and Houston). If this one shares the same menu, the fish sauce caramel brussels sprouts will be a must-order here too. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Anne Cruz

I visited for the soft open and had an exceptional experience. Please visit once they’re fully open. I meandered across the menu and would recommend the Tuna three ways, Scallops in lemon butter and the 72 hour Wygu Short Rib. Milk and Cereal has my vote for dessert.

One of the best restaurantes I’ve ever tried. Food is incredible amazing! Every dish has a combination of flavors that will blow your mind. From the meat to the all the rolls that we tried, I recommend the scallops roll. I’ll definitely come back!

My husband and I are frequent guests and big fans of Uchi in wynwood so we were very excited to see what Uchiko was going to deliver for their soft opening. They did not disappoint! Service goes above and beyond, which is not a common compliment in Miami. Food was great and location/interior design was even better! Excited to go back.

Everything that I have come to enjoy in Uchi Miami, Uchi Scottsdale, Uchi Dallas and Uchiko Houston. This I have to say is the most beautiful location I’ve been to (even aside from the water view) and the food is just incredible. Definitely an impressive place with vibe and good service. Everything we need more of here in Miami in a restaurant.

We had the pleasure of dining at Uchiko for the last day of Friends & Family, and it was an incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, the FOH team was exceptionally warm and welcoming. Our server, Bee, was outstanding—attentive, caring, and truly elevated our experience. The food presentation was phenomenal, and the freshness of the ingredients was evident in every bite. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed, creating an ambiance that enhances the entire dining experience. A special thank you to our dear friend, General Manager Taha, for his attentiveness and hospitality. Wishing the entire team all the best with this exciting new project—can’t wait to return!

I had the chance to visit Uchiko before their official opening as part of a training experience for the staff, and overall, it was a great experience. The food was really good—everything was well-prepared and flavorful. However, I did find the portion sizes a bit small for the price. One of the only drawbacks was the nigiri, where the nori and rice overpowered the flavor of the fish, which took away from the overall experience of those bites. Service was phenomenal. Our waitress was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and made sure we had a great time. Some dishes took a while to come out, but she handled it well, even bringing out an extra appetizer to make up for the wait. The interior was also a highlight—dimly lit, cozy, and sophisticated, making for a really nice atmosphere. Despite a few minor issues, the experience was very enjoyable, and I would definitely return!

Yelp
I made reservations with open table Your Uchiko Plano reservation is set for 3/8/25 at 7:45 PM for 2 guests. To manage your reservation, visit https://sevn.ly/xX8orb1f Upon arriving there we found out it was at a different location. The problem was Kesha the hostess she was the rudest unapologetic hostess I have ever encountered. Politely I asked would you have space for 4, I have NO problem with her saying mo. But the face and the way she said it. She should not be the face of your place.
