The Greatest Pastry City in the World Has a Treat for Every Sweets Lover

"Run by the only MOF-awarded ice cream maker, this shop serves some of the city’s best ice creams and sorbets — a visit is recommended on day one because you’ll want to return every day. Standout, unusual flavors to prioritize include coffee black cardamom, wild fennel pollen, and carrot, all of which showcase an adventurous, high-quality approach to frozen desserts." - Stacey Ballis

Best ice cream that I had in Paris, the pistachio with orange blossoms was super tasty and fresh, the chocolate was good too. There were different variations to choose from and the desserts looked yummy too.

Good ice-cream and ice-cream cake. I only tried classic flavours for ice-cream such as matcha and sesame and I love it! For the cake, I recommend Josephine!

The flavors are interesting but that’s about it. It’s not the best ice cream you will ever have. Be careful here how they charge you. Make sure you pay attention to the prices especially if you are paying for several all together. They think if you are in a big group you won’t notice that they overcharge because of the noise and feeling rushed by the long line.

Cute little glacé store near Le Marais area 4th arrondissement of Paris. The ice cream options is quite varied and you can combine it with ice cream and sorbet as well. Me tried their famous almonds and combine with carrots and ginger sorbet. It tastes great sourly, acid and tangy and spicy a bit, then I can indulge myself with the the sweetness of vanilla and almonds crunchy. The service not really friendly staffs they’re not smiling at all both the server and the cashier ones.

Google
I’d say it’s one of the best ice creams in Paris. The texture is excellent, definitely worth trying the chocolate and vanilla.

Wow nice ice cream and meringue we like all the flavors especially rose and caramel, and special thanks for the young lady with the beautiful dimples she was so nice and welcoming and was trying to explain every item to us we were a group of 5 we bought a lot of meringue as a gift for our family back home ❤️❤️❤️

Had to wait for 10-15 min to get the dessert after we asked and they said they don’t have it. We asked for another one and then again the same story. Seems like workers need to know what they have in the store before making people wait

Delicious gelato. There’s an endless variety of flavors, and the desserts are little works of art. Definitely worth a detour, both in summer and winter.

Yelp
They have the fanciest & tastiest ice creams in the world but unfortunately, we could only try a couple of flavors because we were running late to our timed visit to Palais Garnier visit so we had to try the ice cream on the run. Nevertheless, if in Paris, this is a place to stop for a snack or desert.

Yelp
You have options for a few scoops of ice cream or really fancy mini or regular size ice cream cakes. Both the ice cream cakes we tried were so good and totally worth the cost. They're honestly so pretty you don't want to eat them. They taste as good as they look. Shop is small so it can easily get crowded.

Yelp
This is a very, very cute ice cream shoppe that sells interesting ice creams, water, juices and macaroons in the Montemarte area. It is also very small and has a line that goes quickly. They also have chairs outside their shoppe so you can people watch while enjoying your freshly made daily ice cream. My sister got the smoked chocolate and sea salt caramel. I don't like caramel that much and rarely am in the mood for chocolate but her selections were good! Mu Mum got the pistachio and rose water. Pistachio was the dominant flavor and it was delicious! I got a delightful small scoop of milk rice, which tastes like horchata and of course my favorite flavor passionfruit which is mt favorite fruit! Will be back for sure. Montmarte has cute little shopping areas and you can walk up and down hills to work off your calories!

Yelp
This is a small, independent gelato place on the right bank in the Jewish quarter in Paris. It's a bit pricey, but the ice cream is delicious. We got chocolate, coffee and a salted caramel with bits of almond praline (caramel croquant parisien) All were delicious.

Yelp
Fantastic ice cream - fun flavors. I had a blood orange sorbet and a cardamom ice cream. It's a tiny place with nowhere to sit and the Maria's district on the weekend was packed...found a random stoop to eat.

Yelp
So there was a line to get in, the line was about 30 people deep, miving pretty fast. For about a little under €6 u can get 2 flavors. I had a dark chocolate and apricot whiskey. Both were very good. My daughter had the Mango which was amazing, neither sorbet was overtly sweet. The flavors of each fruit were fragrant and very intense to the palate. Would highly recommend it. If u are nearby. We wanted to sit in but they only have 10 seats, so no dice. This place is packed on weekends..if i had been able to get a table my experience would have been a perfect 5 stars..

Yelp
My friend has been living in Paris for eight years and is a pastry chef himself, which is why he loves this place and has taken me here every time I visit Paris (3 times so far). The ice cream chef here is a MOF which is basically a world champion. The ingredients and flavors are very delicate. For example, once, they had three different types of vanilla, which seems so unnecessary, but you could actually taste the difference with a side by side comparison.

Yelp
Yes, this place is quite expensive but it deserves a try because you will get a beautiful experience handcrafted by the best ice-cream maker in France. Unique flavours like the Pistachios and orange Blossom or the smoked vanilla, don't hesitate to ask for samples. The place is small but very chic. Very recommended when in Paris. 2 scoops at 5.20€

Yelp
We stumbled upon this ice cream shop in the Marais after dinner and were pleasantly surprised. Nice assortment of flavors and the gelato was delicious. My favorite was the lychee caramel which was a clever combination. So good!

Yelp
My friend that lived in Paris recommended this place for ice cream. She advised there will be a line but it is well worth it and guess what, she was right. The line was 15 people deep on a Sunday afternoon. They had about 15-20 different flavors. For chocolate, they had 3 kinds: chocolate with orange, smoked chocolate and dark chocolate. My daughter couldn't decide and wanted to buy 3 scoops!! We ended with 2 scoops each in a waffle cone. The scoops were petite in size compared to what you get in US but it was so concentrate in flavor. All the flavors were not too sweet which was awesome! I had the ataulfo mango and the dark chocolate and both was intense in flavor! Daughter had the coffee and passion fruit. The passion fruit was intense in flavor also and had a nice tartness. Hubby had the chocolate with hint of orange apricot whiskey. We all enjoyed it so much that we did not realize we did not take apicture until we were done. Definite a place to stop even if the line is literally out the door. They do have a few tables in the back but good luck in trying to get a seat. They also sell other products which was nice to check out while waiting on the line.

Yelp
On our trip to Great Britain and France, my friend and I made a point to eat one ice cream a day. I would have to say that we not only succeeded, but we went above and beyond expectations. Out of all the ice cream that I ate on my trip, this was the best. I don't say this lightly either. I eat a lot of ice cream and considering we ate an upwards of 30 ice creams on our trip the title of best doesn't come easy. This place had the most unique flavors I've seen in a while. We tried so many flavors and it was hard to decide on just one, so, my friend and I each got 2 scoops (even though we were super full from lunch). If you come, please please please do yourself a favor and get the lychee caramel. It is the most delightful ice cream flavor you will ever try. Trust me on this one. It was creamy and sweet from the caramel, but the lychee added a lovely fragrant aroma that (who would have thought) paired beautifully with the caramel. You put a bite in your mouth and at first you taste the buttery caramel, as that taste slowly fades, you are left with the delicate taste of the lychee. I would have come here every day if I had found it earlier. The other flavor I got was the pistachio and orange blossom. Once again, these 2 flavors paired so perfectly together. I normally don't like pistachio ice cream because I think it tastes fake and is usually sickeningly sweet, but this one was different. The pistachio was nutty, and the orange blossom was light and floral. If I'm ever back in Paris, this would be my first stop.

Yelp
In love with their green tea/matcha icecream!!! NEED TO TRY if you are a matcha lover as well! ;)

Yelp
Best gelato ever! Super creamy and each spoonful is full of flavor. If you want super intense flavors and creaminess you will love this place!

Yelp
Flavors were milder than I expected and no seating in the evening. I had a scoop of ginger carrot and one of cherry & jasmine tea; husband had a smoked caramel and one of the chocolate flavors. I should say his were strong, mine were on the weak side. Nice but not the best artisanal ice creams.

Yelp
Wow, truly special. My daughter had grapefruit sorbet and I had cherry, mint, cinnamon sorbet. Lovely, intense, and unusual flavors. Expensive, but worth it.
