Casual night market with a variety of food vendors, live music, and jewelry.
"West Harlem is getting its own outdoor food market, starting this Thursday, July 8th. The opening party has a huge lineup of independent vendors and neighborhood restaurants we love (like Harlem Shake and Lolo’s Seafood Shack), as well as live performances by jazz singer Lynette Washington and, DJ Stormin’ Norman, who’s one of the DJs who pioneered live mixing on the radio in the 1990’s. Uptown Night Market is being put on by the same team as Bronx Night Market, but with more of a focus on showcasing Harlem’s own local vendors and makers. If you can’t make the opening party (happening from 4-10pm on Thursday), you can always make a free reservation for each second Thursday of the month until November 4th. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation
"This Thursday marks Uptown Night Market’s final event of the year (until writing this, we too forgot that 2021 is...almost over?). Stop by 12th Avenue and West 135th Street in West Harlem starting at 4pm to get some lumpia from Mama Silog and an oyster mushroom burger from Black Rican Vegan. You can check out the full list of vendors on their website." - hannah albertine
