The 23 Best Turkish Restaurants In London - London - The Infatuation

"This tiny dedicated lahmacun and pide shop on the Newington Green end of Green Lanes has Don Corleone on their walls and lahmacuns you can’t refuse. Everything is made-to-order at Ustun Lahmacun. The dough is kneaded fresh to a Rizla-like transparency, the mince mixture spread, before being cooked in their wood-burning oven. The result is excellent: heavy on onion and isot pepper, this is a lahmacun worth seeking out." - rianne shlebak, sinead cranna, jake missing

Ustun Lahmacun & Pide Salonu - Review - Stoke Newington - London - The Infatuation

"On the Newington Green end of Green Lanes, where Mary Wollstonecraft twinkles around the corner, there’s a handful of Turkish restaurants, patisseries, and Ustun Lahmacun. This tiny dedicated lahmacun and pide shop has pictures of Don Corleone on their walls and bread you can’t refuse. A bite here, whether grabbing a lahmacun to go, or sitting in a bright-lit little corner seat with pickles, bread, and a nourishing soup is always a good idea. All the breads are made-to-order. While the pide is satisfying if unspectacular, the lahmacun is excellent. The dough is kneaded fresh to a Rizla-like transparency, the mince mixture spread before being cooked in their wood-burning oven. The result is excellent: heavy on onion and isot pepper. It’s a true IYKYK snack in this part of town. Food Rundown Lahmacun Who knows how many lahmacuns you can find all over London? Whatever the number, this is up there with the crème de la crème. Watching the bread be carefully pummelled and rolled out, before a spiced lamb mince is smushed and spread on top, and then swivelled off into the oven, is a joy. The result is a crisp, meaty bread that you can enjoy in slices or in a wrap. We’re partial to the latter with lots of salad. photo credit: Giulia Verdinelli" - Jake Missing

Very nice and fresh lahmacun, polite people, cozy shop with 4-5 tables, and very good portions!!! They also bring you pickles, salad and fresh bread (bread was amazingly delicious) We will definitely come back!

Small yet charming Turkish dining space, with a traditional Turkish wood fired oven. We came here for the epic Lahmacuns and pides. Ustan really delivered. The restaurant and food reminded me of the eateries were the locals eat in, off the beaten track in Istanbul. At £12/head it's great value too!

The best chicken soup in London! Food is consistently delicious and very reasonably priced for London. They have a wood fire oven too and the lamb pide is great.

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at this incredible Turkish pizza restaurant, and I have to say, it was one of the best food experiences I've ever had! I ordered the lahmacun and lentil soup, and both dishes were out of this world. The lahmacun was perfectly crispy, with a savory topping that was flavorful and fresh, while the lentil soup was rich, hearty, and absolutely delicious. The attention to detail in every bite made it clear that the chefs here are passionate about their craft. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to enjoy an authentic Turkish meal. If you're in the mood for some truly exceptional food, I highly recommend giving this place a visit. I'll definitely be coming back for more!

One of the best local Turkish Restaurants in the area, I have started with Lentil Soup(Mercimek Corbasi), 2 spicy hot Lahmacun(Turkish kind Pizza) and Sutlac for dessert(A dessert done with rice and milk). Lahmacun was well cooked with good spice ratio and it’s crispy. Lentil soup was good and also served with local fresh cooked homemade bread and also some pickles. Sutlac had good rice and sugar ratio. I definetly recommend this place if you like to try local Turkish Food. Also price was good, I paid like 15£. Next time I will try Pide(Turkish Pizza) with different kinds

One of best Pide place I have ever been with cheapest price on the street . Most of pide I tried before in other places is just bread and small portion of filling but here you can taste every topping you order. Staff are very friendly & welcoming. They don't have seating for many people (15-20 people max) but most customers takes away. Parking available on the opposite road after 1:30pm & pretty much available.
