"On the Newington Green end of Green Lanes, where Mary Wollstonecraft twinkles around the corner, there’s a handful of Turkish restaurants, patisseries, and Ustun Lahmacun. This tiny dedicated lahmacun and pide shop has pictures of Don Corleone on their walls and bread you can’t refuse. A bite here, whether grabbing a lahmacun to go, or sitting in a bright-lit little corner seat with pickles, bread, and a nourishing soup is always a good idea. All the breads are made-to-order. While the pide is satisfying if unspectacular, the lahmacun is excellent.
