A great spot on a cold winters night. Lamb Samosas - 10/10 - flaky crust and lamb stuffing that tasted like a richer, more flavorful ground beef. Uzbeki Nan - 8/10 - like a brioche or a challah, a bit dry but good if you’re ordering something saucy to sop it up with. Vinegred salad - 9/10 - kinda like a mid western salad with boiled eggs and mayonnaise and pickles which, surprisingly, comes together in a flavorful, crunchy (b/c pickles), and delightful finish . Uyghur fried noodles - 9/10 - like a beef stew and peppers noodles dish. Saucy with subtle flavors. Manti - 10/10 - definitely the favorite. Potato dumplings with a rich filling. Perfect on a cold night.

I am from New Orleans, LA and am moving to Nashville, TN. On a trip up here to search for apartments my partner had read, in the Tennessean, that this place was worth trying. It is by far the best beef liver I have had in my 37 years, the handmade noodles to the mixed fruit tea served on candle light. Everything we tried was fresh, clean and had the most amazing flavors. If you are in Nashville you have got to check this place out! 10/10!

Absolute gem! Incredible ratio of quality / price. I don't know what place an even approach. Kebabs are perfectly cooked with tastes complementing each other. Tea was just right. Our server, Sevinch, was magical: it seemed like she was not there, but everything was just appearing on the table. I don't want to recommend cause I want to keep it hidden away. Just kidding! Highly recommend it to anyone who likes good food and impeccable service.

It is a great place. New flavors for me, the food is amazing. I recommend the chatayan pilaf lamb meat rice beans and other ingredients it is delicious. The other dish we got was not the best for me, but I can tell preparation and ingredients are from scratch so that still gave them a plus. The lamb samosas really good too. I will come back to try other dishes. Definitely recommend to try different things. I cannot confirm if it is Authentic cuisine, since i never tried this type of food before. But it is worth trying.

I've never heard of this type of food before. I almost got Thai food, but I said to myself, "When would I ever have the chance to eat Halal food again. Glad I made the right choice. This was my first night in Nashville and what started my culinary cuisine weekend.

The charcoal-grilled kabobs are very good, especially the ground lamb and beef kabob plate. The place has a nice array of salads, appetizers, and desserts as well.

Lovely. Authentic. I would recommend to try Uzbek food here to know the taste of Uzbekistan. Amazing cuisine traveled overseas.

Amazing halal spot in Nashville. The meat was unbelievably tender and full of flavor — truly some of the best food we’ve had in a long time. We’re visiting from Miami, and this honestly stood out as the highlight of our food experiences here. You can tell it’s a family-run business; the energy felt authentic and full of heart. A young woman and man were running the place on their own, hustling nonstop all morning on New Year’s Day, and the place was packed. Huge respect and appreciation — we’ll definitely be back.

Looking for the perfect bite after a walk in centennial park? Look no further than Uzbegim. I went with a friend and her dog. There is also plenty of street parking nearby. The area can be a bit rough at times so make sure to lock your doors and put away valuables before heading into Uzbegim. It's so nice that it has a covered outdoor patio with heaters and the waiter even brought us each a plush blanket. Paired with a pot of green tea we were already in maximum cozy vibes- when the food arrived we were immediately comforted but the fresh flavors of each dish. We got the lamb samosas and Assorted Golupsi. Each dish was filled with plentiful amounts of meat and mild spices. The bread of the samosas was delicious, crisp and still soft. The assorted golupsi reminded me of my mom's homemade stew in the best way with soft carrots, roasted potatoes and cabbage as well as the lovely grape leaves. The service was fast and food arrived within 5-10 minutes of ordering. The wait staff was a one man show but he was kind and quick which is always a great pairing. I'd definitely go back and bring friends/family to enjoy more dishes. The pilaf looked amazing as well as the honey cake!

I'm giving 5 stars because the authenticity here is unmatched. It's an unassuming little spot, and when we arrived, there was nearly no one there. It was 2pm, but regardless, the place was quiet. They did not have half of the menu, though, so keep in mind that if you go you might have to choose from fewer options. For example, I wanted to try the noodles, which they did not have. Here's what we tried: Kemal Kebab (Lamb with potatoes): 9/10 - Some of the yummiest potatoes I've had! They came whole but were cooked in a rich sort of oil, and the lamb literally fell RIGHT off the bone. So good. Manti Dumplings: 8/10 - The beef inside was slightly dry but the dough casing the dumplings was SO yummy. I loved the texture. Also, the yogurt sauce is a good addition. Wedding Fried Rice: 8.5/10 - Lovely flavor to this! I normally don't like fried rice but it was rich, sweet, and saucy. Not dry like most I've had. The lamb was pretty plentiful on top as well. I don't think this place is overhyped. It might be underhyped, despite its Michelin guide recognition. I'll definitely come back to try the noodles and the naan.

The restaurant is pretty easy to find as it is located on the corner and there is a small sign out front. Surprisingly, there is some street parking very close by. I was able to find several spots less than half a block away. I did not notice any handicapped spaces, but that is not under the control of the restaurant. You must go up steps to get to the entrance door, unless there is a ramp along the other side of the building which I did not investigate. There is also a small step at the door. You enter a small waiting/ seating area with a couple tables. The counter to place your order is to right as you enter. There is more seating in the rear of the restaurant. I was greeted as I entered and given a menu to review. The host was helpful in describing the different dishes and making recommendations. After ordering I waited in the area near the door. They also have several grocery items available. The food took 15-20 minutes to arrive. It was very well packaged as a to go order. It was still hot when I arrived at my destination a few minutes later, and nothing spilled on the way there. The Olivier salad was an elevated egg salad. While not earth-shattering, it was a very pleasant start to the meal. The Uyghur fried noodle was very good. It was a relatively simple dish with good flavor and a healthy portion of beef. It was quite filling and reheated well the next day. The kufte was another winner. Again, a rather simple recipe but very well executed. For those looking for a less than common culinary experience, Uzbegim offers a great opportunity to try some excellent food.

Found this from the Michelin recommended list. It's a little out of the way of downtown Nashville in a neighborhood. The place had only a couple of diners in its very simple dining area- which was surprising given its recognition. Another reviewer's note we read was no lie- they literally don't have half of the items they claim to on their menu. Honestly, they should redo their menu or give you a heads up in advance. The service is sub-par and you then realize that the food is why this place is recognized. Its menu is unique Uzbek fare and the food is flavorful. The lamb is stewed perfectly and you must try. We also loved the honey cake and roasted potatoes. I'm glad we tried this place but will probably not return due to the service and very limited menu.

Starting off, the staff was super helpful and friendly! The restaurant was very clean and had nice outdoor seating. This is my first time trying Uzbek food and it was great! The meat with the fried noodles had an amazing flavor and the noodles were thick and yummy! The lamb was great as well! There was plenty street parking near the restaurant when I went. Definitely recommend coming here and will be back!

Uzbegim never disappoints! The chicken is incredibly moist and the lamb always perfect. Try the fruit tea or house squeezed juice and don't forget the samosas!

I have been very interested in visiting this place, as I've heard it mentioned in foodie spaces. Not every dish was a home run, but soups, desserts were. Rice dishes were fine, but not spectacular. Biggest growth opportunity: service! Don't expect a lot but refilling drinks, clearing dishes prior to dessert, main dishes coming out at same time and not with 10 min difference among folks at the table, would elevate the experience of service. If you're interested in trying Uzbequi food; it's a good intro. I'll go back for sure- but may stick to soups and dessert next time.

Fantastic! I was in Nashville visiting for work and wanted to check out Centennial Park. Was looking for somewhere nearby for some lunch and came across Uzbegim. Having never tried Uzbek food before, this was a no brainer! Highly, highly recommend trying something off the grill. The Tovuq chicken kebab I tried was SO juicy and tender and delicious. It came out hot and fresh, with a great char and spiced to perfection. The skewer was complemented with thinly sliced raw onion, which were pretty mild and sweet. If I ever have a chance to make it back here, I will definitely try other items off their grilled menu. I also got the Fried Laghman noodle dish, and this was very tasty as well! Generous amount of meat with great flavor. The handmade noodles were chewy and thick, and despite being fried, it was not too heavy or oily. Loved the very subtle sour vinegar/lemon in this dish and good amount of veggies to round it out too. I had ordered the Uzbek bread as well, which surprised me with how big it was. Especially for the price, I was expecting something really small and it's actually huge. In my opinion, this was just okay, not a lot of flavor but beautifully presented and good value for sharing if you come hungry! Service was friendly and prompt. Restaurant was pretty quiet when I was there for an earlier lunch time. Upstairs they have a small store where you can buy breads and pantry items to go.

Visiting from California... Cute place, you can sit inside or outside. There's some music playing in the background at the perfect volume. The restaurant and cafe are connected. The staff is friendly and attentive, they will help with recommendations. The food was delicious and freshly made, it came out hot and the flavors were so good! If you're thinking of coming here, do it! They have sweets and coffee too if you're feeling like a decadent treat. Great place, glad I came!

Saw this place on Nashville Hidden Gems and was rather mad that I didn't know about it earlier. Over the years of going to Elliston Pl, and even eating at Michelangelo's, I was very pleased to see another Uzbek restaurant here in Nashville. This place truly is a hidden gem. I went in knowing it would be good for Halal food. The menu was easy to read and the food was delicious. I got the fried Uyghur lagman. I also got an order of Uzbek bread. The staff were friendly and I definitely will be back. They really improved the look on the inside from what I remember going in to Michelangelo's. In fact, there were other people in there ordering pizza. So they either share the space or are related to the owners. As far as I know, the parking is free in the back as long as you are visiting a business at Elliston Place. I highly recommend.

Do not go without calling first!!!!!! We went at 6:00 pm on a rainy, cold Monday. Open signs flashing everywhere. Dingy looking place, but we expected that. Waitress looked shocked to see us enter. She asked if we had reservations (they don't have a real website, I saw nothing about reservations on Yelp, and no one would expect that to be an issue at such a place.) Though only 2 tables inside were occupied, she told us we'd have to sit outside. The only tables outside big enough for the 3 of us were all uncovered, in the rain (and they obviously stay that way, as they were warped and disintegrating). No thanks.

Delicious food and worth to try. We also had a kebab and medovik. If you are in town stop by this place.

There's a reason why this restaurant won a 2025 Michelin Bib Gourmand Award. Every single dish was amazing! The Manti, the Wedding Rice, the Uyghur Noodles, along with the Uyghur Soup, the Uzbek Nan Bread were so flavorful, my wife and I ate the the exact same order two days in a row. Both desserts were amazing as well (the Honey & the Napoleon Cake). The service was welcoming, friendly, and fast. Highly recommended restaurant! Osh and Uzbegim are can't-miss restaurants when visiting or living in Nashville.

The food and service were amazing. I didn't go into the restaurant. I had delivery. Everything I ordered was amazing.

Efficient and friendly service. When a nearby restaurant could not prepare a simple appetizer with tea in 30 minutes, Uzbegim and Amor de Cafe delivered it in half the time and at competitive prices. The place is clean and also has an outdoor seating.

We came in for the Manti, Laghman, and Na'an, it was all fantastic and so so yummy. The tea is wonderful.

Their food is authentic and taste amazing every time! 10/10 recommend if you're in the area.

This little restaurant is inside the building with the pizza place and had such amazing unique food. We got the plov, samosa, naan, and uyghur lagman. The service was so nice as well and the food tasted amazing. Definitely recommend!!!

Legit Central Asian food! Having been to Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan this restaurant stacks up. Incredible Plov (wedding rice), authentic naan, and a porch overlooking Centennial Park. I will be here every week.

Shared with Michaelangelo's Pizza, this spot finally got a sign on the door so people can see that it's there! Has a few parking spots, space inside is pretty big. Dark though and the fans cause the lights to seem like they're flickering. Came on a Saturday at 1PM with a total of 6 people, and they ran out of noodles. I came here specifically to get the laghman so I didn't get anything, although I did try bites of others' food. Generally, food was lacking flavor - the nan (traditional Uzbek bread) was soft inside and had an almost crunchy bottom but didn't taste like much and didn't come with any dips. Tried a bite of the to'y (plov) and choyhona (also plov), lamb in to'y definitely needs more flavor although it was soft, didn't get any choyhona lamb but my friends said it was dry (it looked dry), they liked the char on it though. The rice felt oily and also didn't have much flavor although the chickpeas in the to'y was good. Friend found an eyelash in the choyhona on the egg. Portions were on the smaller side for sure although prices mostly reflected that at about $14 post-tax. People in my group were definitely disappointed that there were no more noodles at what seems like a reasonable time to eat lunch. I probably won't be back - if not for the rest of the group, I would've just left without getting any food. I've gone to Osh a handful of times and they never ran out of noodles, I'll probably just continue going there.

What a great place !!! Everything was great!! And the owner is so generous! When I asked for a little bit more onions they literally brought a whole small plate of onions! And I can't believe it's so cheap ! A cheap price with a big portion of food is hard to find in downtown Nashville now

10000/10! Yum! I had the golupsi and roasted lamb Shank and potatoes! Freaking YUM! Everything had so much flavor. The lamb was so tender and juicy reminded me of neckbones or oxtails.. or a tender roast! the golupsi was so flavorful and unique it's like a turkish meatloaf with so many flavors. I would literally eat here daily if I could wow!!

Surprising Uzbekistan restaurant near Centennial Park. My friend and I were looking for a delicious departure from the standard American/Mexican dining experience and found this place on Yelp. As we approached the restaurant, we could smell something enticing on the grill emanating from this restaurant. The food did not disappoint! We wanted to try everything on the menu and ordered rice, kebabs, salad, soups and bread. There was plenty to eat and enough leftover to take home. There's also a small market inside where you can pick up traditional Uzbeki snacks and food. All around fun, enticing experience and the servers were engaging and attentive. We'll be back!

Samsa was to die for! Plov was flavorful, and shish kebab was great. Was greatly surprised to find an Uzbek place in Downtown Nashville!

This tiny restaurant next to Centennial Park is like taking a trip to Uzbekistan, no passport required. The food is terrific and abundant. Just outside the restaurant is an enclosed grill where the intoxicating smell of grilling kabobs perfumes the air. The service is friendly and helpful. If the hearty, earthy flavors of Uzbekistan are new to you, just ask for suggestions.

HOLY FLIPPIN MOLY!! This place is easily an 11/10. I mean the best find of this year for me without a doubt. I ordered because I saw it was halal and I thought why not try uzbek food. So one night, I ordered the following on uber eats: shurpa soup and chicken kabob (tuvuk i think?). These both slapped!! Shurpa soup has beef which i didnt personally like as much but the chicken kabob was so good and you could tell it was freshly made! Today I found out they had a website where you can also get food delivered and they give 10% off for first time users. Food was also delivered very quickly! Today i got the qiyma (beef kabob) and russian tortilleni soup called CHUCHVARA (PELMENI). IT IS SOOOOO GOOD. super flavorful, this my first time trying chuchvara and its now my favorite lol. Prices are great. Yall would be missing out if you dont try this place. Wish i found out about it earlier!

Be AWARE!!! I had a liver kabab and Lamb kabab both were uncooked and spoiled. 11am the cook was not there told me to wait 30-1 hour for cooks to come. I work around the area so called them to ask when will they have fresh food always same answer in the evening or 1pm fresh food will be ready but that's a lie they will give you disgustingly spoiled very bad smelly bad tasting food out of microwave. I am Uzbek so sad I had to write this bad review. I highly advise Local Health departments investigate the restaurant throughly. Very disappointing. Very expensive not worth of a price. I tried to give it second chance again same thing happened spoiled grape leaves. Nothing in this restaurant is fresh. And very pricey. This maggot worms were found yesterday in meat somsa by my friend and her husband and 11 year old child ate it and got sick. They have diarrhea and vomiting at the moment. We have a video of worms alive and moving.

OMG!!! I so wish this restaurant was in my town. I have never been to a Turkish Halal restaurant before and I really enjoyed the experience. It was quiet and peaceful. We weren't sure if we were in the right place at first, because it had signs for a pizza place when we first walked in, but we were greeted and sat right away when we specified Uzbegim was our destination. The service was friendly and helpful, and the server kindly recommended delicious options to try. And the food was amazing. We ordered way too much because we wanted to share and try several items. The Tandir Samosa - very good - flavorful beef and onions. Golupsi - cabbage rolls, cooked potatoes, dolmas - sooooo good. Fried Uyghur Lagman - noodles with beef and peppers and fried egg. Amazing! Bifsteks - the meatballs included on this plate were incredible and so flavorful. Also the chicken kebab - Tovuq - the spices on this were amazing, and the chicken was so hot and tender. Everything was hot, fresh, and incredibly flavorful. I forgot to take pictures until after we started cause it was so good and we couldn't wait to dive in.

Last night was my second time dining here, and this time, two friends came along. We ordered the Crispy Baked Samosa, Tandir Samosa and Olivier to share - all was tasty! One of my friends and I ordered the To'y Osh Plov and my other friend ordered the noodle dish (I forget the name). We were all pleased with the quality and portion size of our meals. Definitely authentic, and the service is quick and attentive. It's worth a visit for the unique experience!

Important: restaurant is located INSIDE "Michelangelo's Pizza", there is no sign for it just go inside and upstairs. SUPER incredible food! Very authentic and delicious at an unbelievably reasonable price. Order the samosas, the plov, the kabob, or the laghman and you WON'T be disappointed especially if you love lamb.

You enter this place via the pizzeria next door, so from outside it looks closed but isn't. They have two lamb dishes, called "Jaz" and "Jiz". I asked the waiter what was the difference and he said he was out of Jiz. I got the Manti dumplings just to be safe. They were pretty good.

For the first time came today. Wow! The food is delicious and really testy. I took to go half of the menu and every dish was exceptional and prepared with love. The price is surprisingly reasonable. Very happy to find this amassing place and definitely will recommend it to all my friends and relatives.

What an amazing place, friendly people, great ambiance, and smells delicious the moment you walk in! I had the Nan, samosa, plov and manti. Every single dish was phenomenal and service was perfect.

If you want to get a taste of authentic Uzbek food, similar to other Central Asian cuisines, this is the place. I'm impressed there are now 2 Uzbek restaurants in Nashville (other one being Osh, which is also excellent). You can always count on the staples like manty, pelmeni, kebabs, toi plov and shurba soup, but also try Medovik or Napoleon cakes. Highly recommended!

Had the grilled lamb and chicken kebabs...they were so flavorful and juicy! Also tried the lamb and onion baked samosas. Amazing food! This is a hidden gem. Try it before word gets out.
