"VeganBurg has been a staple in SF’s plant-based burger scene since 2015—and we still return on a regular basis for their delicious burgers. The fast-casual spot in the Haight is decked out with mirrors and benches lined with astroturf, which marginally gives the effect of eating outside. The nine burgers on the menu star patties made from soy, plant protein, or imitation fish and crab, and each one has a well-balanced mix of toppings like pineapple and teriyaki or pico de gallo. Our go-to is the one loaded with creamy mushrooms, which is filling but still light enough that we never need to nap immediately afterward. Get a side of the house sriracha aioli for an added kick." - Julia Chen

Super fire burgers! Great for vegans and non-vegans alike. The carne asada fries are so good too! 4 Stars only because I’ve had to wait long times sometimes to get my food. Edit: Have grown to love this place even more! They have increased their speed and honestly it’s so fast to get a burger now. Have tried their non-burger offerings as well and safe to say they are bomb!!

Cherishable. Delicious. Healthy. Fresh. Delightful. The crew member who took our order was far more than helpful and welcoming. We were taken care of like family. The food was heavenly. Juicy. I can't shake the feeling. If you're questioning vegan food, or already deep in the vegan revolution. Vegan Burg is an absolute must eat.

Tasty and unique vegan burgers! It's one of the older vegan burger joints, established in 2010. The patties are probably less processed and more similar to a traditional veggie Burger. The flavours are outstanding though! We had the Tangy Tartar, which was sort of like a vegan fish or vegan crab cake which I really liked! We also tried Mustang Relish and added the vegan egg, also super good!! The vegan egg was quite convincing. Seaweed Fries were yum, perfect size and crispiness. Tried the vegan soft serv, very strong flavour, different from other vegan ice cream I've had, but good! Their online ordering system could use some improvements, it was a bit tricky to make order adjustments but thankfully our food was correct and the crew was very professional! Overall I recommend but make sure to check on Happy Cow, the free online resource for finding the best veg restaurants options in any city! So many fabulous vegan restaurants in SF!

We went to VeganBurg for a lunch. We order the Avocado Beetroot burger & the Creamy Shroom burger. Both were ok but nothing special to be honest. I definitely had better vegan burgers in my life. I liked the self-service iPad for ordering, and I also liked the restaurant decor which is quite pretty. Positive experience overall but the food is so so and drinks are terrible. Prices are in line with other similar places in the Bay Area.

I liked their crispy patties. I tried a seasonal special with shroom sauce add-on. It had a sweet and tangy sauce that I loved and I recommend that. The creamy mushroom burger was fine but I didn't like it as much as the other one. The jalapeno fries were good. The burgers are a bit on the smaller side so you might need something extra if you're really hungry.

The best veggie burgers I've ever had and my partner agrees. We had the beetroot and avocado and the salsa one and they were both incredible. The service was extremely fast and we were greeted by the owner (I think?) after we ordered. We're just visiting otherwise we would make this a regular spot.

Definitely not the best vegan burger I've ever ordered. The smoked BBQ burger was ok but didn't blow my mind. As soon as I finished the burger the diarrhea-man knocked at my door. The signature slider burger was inedible. The burger was completely soggy and just a disaster in terms of taste. One bite and thrown away. Seewead fries were also very soggy and not eatable at all. The chick'n tenders were cold and tasteless. I threw a lot of money in the trashcan. Maybe it tastes different if you eat on site but I wouldn't order again.

A good place to stop for fresh vegan food. While fairly good, the burger I had was not filling and hard to eat without utensils. It was a bit messy, the sauce/juices from the burger leaked out and made a pool of liquid at the bottom of the plate. The chocolate cake is surprisingly great for a vegan option, very similar to a slightly dense chocolate cake made with milk, and the icing similar to whipped cream with the smallest hint of coconut. I would come back for the cake. Ambiance overall was ok, with high ceiling, natural wood furnishing, wedding music, a plant, and a phallic-looking crystal.
