Visited this vegan gem today, absolutely love the ambiance and energy of this place, the owner and staff are so welcoming. I ordered the banh mi and the all American cheeseburger & the red velvet cake. Everything was spectacular. Definitely will visit again. They have an expansive menu and lots of healthy drink/snack options available while you wait for your food.

Ordered delivery from here based off the excellent reviews, and I was not disappointed. Everything had great flavor, and huge portions. I’ll definitely eat here at again but at the actual restaurant. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful experience eating here. This place is full of love and savory food. I was so impressed by their utensils and plates which were biodegradable. Zero waste is being practiced here and the people who work here are filled with so much compassion and great energy. Excellent service, unique style of different foods. Absolutely love the plant based Caribbean themed style incorporated into the food. If you’re in the area don’t hesitate to check this Place out!

I am not vegan but eating healthy foods is a plus to better health, and this restaurant has also been my go to place during my yearly fast. Normally, the food has been good, but not without some service issues that if corrected could make this rating higher. My number one gripe is if you no longer have an item on the menu, remove it from the menu. Secondly, during the morning rush have more than one waitress. Have someone to double check the order before sending it out to maķe sure everything ordered has been included. A check of juicers, or other machinery, should be routinely checked to insure they are in order at the start of the day, to avoid a customer being informed some twenty minutes after they have ordered, that the juicer is not working. Again, the food is great, and you can sense that the owner is constantly looking for ways to make the dining experience/atmosphere enjoyable. These minor tweaks are sure to improve service to a greater level. The restaurant is open Mon-Fri, and Sunday, however closed part of Saturday for religious observance.

I stopped by early one morning during a layover. I was delighted by the decor and range of healthy options. The vegan "tuna" and sweet potato fries hit the spot. Likewise the sapote shake was delicious and filling. I ordered muffins to go - huge, moist, and not overly sweet. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Felt very tight-knit and down home. I hope that they continue offering tasty food and great service. Thanks!

Went here with my brother from New York and loved the food. I ordered quite a bit, I will definetly be back. The burger sliders were delicious and the supreme pizza is awesome. The best part of the meal was our server being so entertaining.

Love the simplicity and politeness. Very clean place and a menu full of incredible plates, burgers, tuna melt, Jamaican petty an so on all vegan or vegetarian. Many juice and smoothies options as well. It’s definitely worth a visit. Don’t be shy to try them out.

Ok so I’m going to keep it 💯 with this review. I ordered the lemon pepper jerk chicken ( seitan) with quinoa, steamed veggies and a side of lentil soup. I also purchased the Golden Monkey smoothie. 1st let’s talk about the food. Everything was super tasty. The veggies were not soggy and had a nice crunch to it. They were so harmoniously seasoned to perfection. Not salty, not oily and you can tell that it was flavored with natural herbs. The meatless chicken( seitan) was so flavorful and savory. The lentils was a great addition to everything else. I can say I was pleasantly surprised. This tasted like a home cooked meal made with love. This is what I call vegan soul food. The smoothie was superb 👌made with almond milk, bananas, cashews & dates. Now The total for both was about $30. I know… more than I expected to spend but honestly it was worth it. I wouldn’t splurge everyday but to be satisfied with a guaranteed good meal it’s well worth it and I would spend it again and again. Don’t let the price deter you. Your taste buds will thank you. They also have another location in Broward Blvd and 441. 10/10 for flavor and quality 👌👌 If “You get what you pay for “ was a place, this is definitely it. I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu 😋

Get the vegan ribs! They are excellent. The menu items are pricy compared to their competitors but it's worth it. We also ordered the vegan kabobs and salad and they were delicious. We have visited a total of three times in a month so it's safe to say we like this place. Delicious food and very good customer service.

Oh I see you, Vegetarian Restaurant. Vegan restaurants are up in numbers, but they're often clumped in certain areas, may not be very good in their offerings and/or costing so much that I think of just throwing together a vegetable stir fry and calling it an affordable vegan meal. That is not the case here. We have a vegetarian restaurant and market that is so big in its signage that it's very easy to spot in the strip mall and access off of 163rd Street, and it's super great! Vegan Caribbean is a great concept. I placed an order to pick up food here last night, and I wish I had chosen to eat in the restaurant instead! You see the front counter as soon as you walk in and the eating area, very prettily decorated and lit, to the right of the entrance, past many produce and shelf products. I only stayed for 10 seconds inside, but I could tell the restaurant smelled awesome and the vibe was something I wanted to hang out in. I got an order of the Bamboo Bites, which are 2 ginger teriyaki and BBQ seitan skewers each, sitting atop a bed of shredded purple cabbage, carrots and spinach. I could barely decide which one I liked better since they were both so tasty! The seitan was tender and was coated well in each sauce. The ginger skewers had a good soy flavor with a slight zest of ginger, and the BBQ skewers were savory and slightly smoky tasting but with less sweetness and heaviness than traditional BBQ sauce (so I loved it). I took the Vegan Boneless Short Ribs for lunch the next day and was amazed. Their short ribs are shredded seitan doused in vegan (of course) brown sauce over brown rice with peas. The sauce is incredibly flavorful and made everyone around me jealous to smell it. The brown rice and peas were cooked properly, leaving them easy to eat. There were black beans and steamed vegetables on the side. Now when I read "steamed vegetables", I assumed there was going to be maybe 3 unseasoned broccoli florets, like many other places would serve. But no, these had to be chopped cabbage and colored peppers that were also seasoned so well that I wanted more of them. I'm really glad to have tried the food from here. I'll have to return to eat in the restaurant and have the other good looking dishes on the menu!

Unmemorable and bland food that was expensive. Cute spot, it was promising but it fell flat. The fries tasted the best and the "burger" was sooo dry

I ordered through Uber Eats and called before ordering to verify that the cheeses were nut-free. I was assured they were and then placed my order. However, quite some time later the Uber driver called me and informed me that the restaurant stated one of my items had nuts in the cheese (the pizza). It is made with sunflower seeds and coconut. I appreciate the restaurant catching this but it was frustrating because I called and asked prior to placing my order. Nonetheless, when I received my order of Rib Tips and BBQ Chicken Ranch Pizza I was blown away. The portions were large and the food was seasoned through and through. Each item was seasoned well and the prices are very reasonable. The Rib Tips came with rice that has spinach and peas in it. The red beans were creamy and delicious. The sauce on the rib tips was just enough. I opted for the salad vs the steamed vegetables. The salad was fresh and came with spinach, carrots and a side of dressing. The dressing reminded me of a tahini based sauce. I ordered the small BBQ Chicken and Ranch pizza cheese-less. It was the perfect personal size and so tasty. I would absolutely order from here again!

Amazing! It was our first time there and we felt like we were family. The servers knew everything about every dish that was offered and was very friendly. The food was amazingly good and the portion was big. It felt like we were eating the best home cooked meal ever. The owner, Hakin, came to thank us in person after we were done. It's a vegetarian restaurant/market with amazing dishes and options on a cozy, home like ambiance.

The energy. The customer service. The food. (I had the all American burger & sweet potato fries) Everything was great and I love that I was able to stock up on my herbal supplements here too! Definitely will be returning!

Friendly and courteous staff serving vegan Caribbean food in an unassuming strip mall. Highly recommend the short rib dinner plate with steamed veggies and quinoa. The ban mih and burger were also good, but not as delicious as the ribs. We also tried the Repair Man and Golden Monkey smoothies which were yummy - liquid desserts! Recommended for anyone interested in non standard vegan fare - and Caribbean cuisine.

Wow I dunno ‍ what happened this time but the food was NOT as satisfying as the first time. I live in Fort Lauderdale & I actually brought my brother with me today all the way to Miami after bragging about this place & he was very disappointed. I don't think he wants to try it again. He said it was nothing like what he sampled last time. It was hot inside the restaurant & not only did it take about an hour to receive the food (I reordered the Vegan Philly Cheezesteak" x2 & was told it'd take 35-40 mins) but it was NOWHERE what I anticipated. Definitely not as good as the last time. We didn't notice the missing cheeze until we got home. (We tried adding Daiya shredded cheeze but it was an epic fail). And I had maybe a handful of the sweet potato fries in my order (pic posted). At least my brother got the full amount of fries. I was so disappointed that I also actually considered not returning; but I will give it one more try. I understand they were pretty busy today but that should never hinder the quality of food nor the service. I'm a try this one mo' 'gain! Maybe I'll call ahead next time and double check the order before I leave.

Very interesting restaurant! Food was delicious! My husband ordered ginger chicken salad and I Ordered BBQ chicken salad. Both incredible with very different flavors. Amazing feeling of love and pride in both serving and delivery of food. We were given samples of many offerings without even requesting. The choice was difficult because everything tasted fabulous. Looks like they are expanding the store to offer more products. Is a bit out of the way from where I live but most definitely worth the drive to come back.

Very welcoming when I first walked in. This was my first time attending so they provided me with samples to a few items and I enjoyed every bit of it. I chose to get the bbq ribs and it came with rice, lentils and greens. I also ordered the passion fruit liquid gold. Everything was great, customer service was amazing and I will be back!!!

My boyfriend and I went here on a whim and I'm so glad we did! The food was all vegan and all amazing! We shared the veggie philly steak and the grilled mushroom, spinach & cheese pizza. Both were amazing! Exceeded expectations and Hakin was so lovely. I would highly recommend.

Was looking for some green juice near me and found this hidden gem. The have all kind of great natural products inside from African Black soap to incense and essential oils, I didn't realize it was a restaurant when driving by and seeing "Market" but on google maps it shows up as a vegetarian restaurant with green juices! I got some white sage, a farmacy (to protect the immune) and solar power (for mental focus)! I also got to meet the owner Hakin, and he was super friendly and welcoming! Such great vibes at this place! I end up waking up from a nap and making it back for dinner right before closing time! OOOMGGG the Food is absolutely delicious and flavorful! My baby loved his vegan quesadillas and I enjoyed the vegan rib Tuesday special! I also end up getting some soap and a smoothie too! Wow my stomach is so full of nutrients and joy!

This place is just amazing. Everything I've eaten here is seasoned, cooked and/or prepared to perfection. Their raw salads and smoothies are delicious, but my favorite is the BBQ "chicken" entree. Whatever is in their secret sauce works for me!!

I was recommended to try their BBQ seitan with along their spinach rice with a side of salad with their vegan ranch at Vegetarian Restaurant by Hakin in North Miami Beach, Florida. BBQ seitan: As a vegan since the summer of 2017, this was my first time actually trying seitan and I will admit, it taste like chicken and this was definitely worth trying and going to have again. I definitely want to make sure that I want to try their ginger vegan chicken/seitan, which sounds just as impressive idea and hope there are more chicken/seitan flavors. Rating: 5 out of 5 stars Spinach rice: This is actually organic basmati spinach brown rice. I have had spinach rice from many different places; some had too much spinach, and some places even had their rice being green itself. However, this was nothing like any other spinach rice that I have had. Their spinach rice is definitely the best version I have ever tasted. The addition of the peas and carrots in the rice gave it an excellent taste and touch to the spinach rice and most certain to order this again. Rating: 5 out of 5 stars Salad with vegan ranch: The salad was crisp, very earthy, to perfection, and fresh with the vegan ranch being light and creamy, which made them a really great combination. Having a vegan ranch was definitely a great idea and taste amazing as well. I definitely want to make sure that I would eat here again. Rating: 5 out of 5 stars Overall: 5 out of 5 stars

MAN OH MAN! This meal was delicious! I've visited this restaurant once years ago so I knew it was good but I've never had anything like this and it did not disappoint. The amount of bbq sauce was just enough to taste good on it own but much better with the rice. The peas were also something new to me but it tasted so good! Definitely would order again Also this is not for the light eater, I was so full! P.S I had it delivered that's why it looks a little messy but it didn't mess with the flavors

This place is delicious, fresh, clean, healthy, and calm! Today I had the ginger chicken wrap, which I order pretty much every time because it's such a perfect combination that I don't miss the "real" chicken. Thank you for always reaching expectations. Always a pleasure!

The food was great. With Uber eats boyfriend & I had the bahn mi & bbq sandwich. Both were good. I love the fake meat they used & the bread was so good. I would get it again.

I don't come here as often as I should, it's really in the same plaza I do my nails at. I've eaten here a few times to know that the food is yummy. Let's go into it shall we. I walked in and they had a nice crowd of people. I was going to order to go but I decided to dine in last Minute. I took a lot of suggestions from a young lady. She recommended the Liquid Gold fresh juice. It was sugarcane pineapple juice. I really wanted the pineapple ginger but they had no ginger. Disappointing. Then comes to my food order I don't eat beef so I differently wanted to go all out. She said a popular sandwich is the "VEGAN ALL AMERICAN CHEESE BURGER". The condiments and toppings were there tomatoes lettuce bun etc it was really good. I just wish maybe it had a Vegan secret sauce on it something to just make it moist, vegan patties can be very dry. I had a side of sweet potatoes fries as well! Scenery was nice I took a booth with a window i love the lights and creativity of the ceiling and the music is a major plus. Overall it's a cute healthy laid back spot. You can also purchase things for the home, your body and cooking purposes and over all your mind body and soul. I'm all for a healthier lifestyle.

i've always seen this restaurant on delivery apps, but today i got to try it in person and i am nothing short of satisfied. i ordered the the ginger chicken wrap, a side of fries, and the green goodness smoothie. granted my eyes were bigger than my stomach and Vick (an employee) kept giving me samples of smoothies to try but the meal was very filling nonetheless and i even have lunch for tomorrow. i'm not a big fan of seitan but they managed to create such great flavors, so it was worth it! unlike commercial vegan spots this was very affordable with good portion sizes. i can honestly say my money was well spent. to top it all off i even got a chance to meet the man behind this wellness plan, Mr. Hakin. he is such a caring and funny soul, i thoroughly enjoyed my experience and will surely be back.

Just ordered the vegan barbecue rib platter on DoorDash. The food was AMAZING! Nicely packaged and the portion is definitely worth the value! Also very healthy and protein packed. I ordered this for my post gym meal. Can't wait to try some more food from here!

Menu from their Yelp page won't be honored or even recognized. When I was shocked about the price being double and SHOWED THEM THE WEBSITE WITH THIS MENU AND PRICES they simply said "That's too much food". I expected to pay what is listed and they just said I went to the wrong website. Like they had zero knowledge of this complete website for their business!!! Treated me like I was crazy! BAD BUSINESS no matter how you look at it. If you're in this area and looking for vegetarian food you are maybe stuck with this, Asian or Mediterranean food. You would just hope this would be better since it's ALL THEY DO! They couldn't even find my food when I came in to pick it up. This is 2018, know your business's web presence. Take control of your business. Take care of your customers. Do the right thing. Treat people with respect. TAKE PRIDE IN YOURSELF AND YOUR BUSINESS.

i have been vegetarian for about 7 months and i have always struggled with finding good foods that i can eat at restaurants. My parents and sister aren't vegetarians but we all chose to go today for lunch. We all loved the food. My dads one of the biggest carnivores and he's even a chef at a famous restaurant and he loved the food. The food has such unique and familiar flavors. The smoothies/juices are INCREDIBLE. Its such a cool and underground place too. The staff is so sweet and it feels like you're with family. Will definitely go again.

I've come to the veg restaurant several times over the last few years. The food changes every so often and they are versions of the same dish. It's usually pretty good but my issues with the restaurant is that The service can be extremely slow. Today for example, we came in and people who got seated after us got their food before us. About 10 minutes after we arrived a large group of people came in so they could have been getting everything ready for them, assuming the group called in before hand. But when the waiter came with our drinks he just set down the tray at the table and left. The 2 out of the 3 plates we ordered arrived and we continued to wait, shortly after reminding the server about the last plate. After all the dishes arrived the server had to be reminded of the drink that was ordered. The food is good but service can be really slow. Make sure you go with plenty of time to spare.

I was so anxious to try this place just to be let down. I ordered a drink (little Haiti) and some food . After the server took my order he never came back . I stopped him and asked for Atleast my drink . He said he forgot to place my order .I'd say there 20 min already . He finally came with my drink but no food . I drank my drink and still no food . I stopped him again and asked for my food . He says he's going to check on it . When he comes back he says they are getting started on it . I just paid for my juice and left . As I was leaving a lady was complaining about her food as well . She ordered 45 min prior . So my review is simply good drinks bad service with a long wait time .

This place is so good! I was craving a hearty meal and this hit the spot. When we arrived we told the waitress/cashier that it was our first time. She told us to have a seat and then she came over with samples of their "chikin" one has a mildly sweet ginger flavor which my mom ordered and I got the BBQ flavored one. It was a really big portion of that with a side of rice, beans and salad. We also ordered a vegan gluten free pizza and vanilla ice cream to go that were also really good. The other thing I like is that they have tons of cool things for sale such as wellness teas, soaps and drinks. The reason I took off a star is because when we arrived. There were a lot of people already waiting for their food and also they took long to even acknowledge us. But besides that little hiccup, everything was great.

In my communal rush to work I opted to give Hakin a call. For awhile they've been on my try out list and it just so happened that they were on my route and placed a to-go order of their special of the day. It was after 11am and although their lunch isn't usually ready to serve until around noon, the friendly lady on the phone happily let me know that she would have it ready in about 20 minutes. Upon my arrival to their location on 163rd street, you walk in to find some rather unusual but delicious looking snacks for vegetarians and vegans alike while I paid for my curried veggie chicken on top of quinoa with a side of cabbage and stewed chickpeas. It was very good. Not high in salt and yet very flavorful. I have no idea why it took me this long to discover this gem of veggie loving fare but I'll definitely be making this a regular stop.

My goodness! This is heaven sent vegan food I have ordered four times now from them and there food is always so amazing. I have had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich that almost made me cry and the banhi sandwich that was amazing, the blueberry pancakes which were so fluffy and with tofu scrambled that changed my life. And just yesterday I had the vegan ginger chicken that had an unbelievable texture I love this place so much! I can't wait to try more things!

Food is prepared with love and taste amazing. Daily specials are great deal. Hakin is always charm and welcoming. I definitely get food from them at least once per week so I can enjoy it at home . Thank you guys for making food for the soul !

The good 1. Many items on the menu to choose from 2. Food is ok and fresh 3. Juices and smoothies made on site. No sugar added. 4. Sell variety of vegan products/snacks 5. They have dessert The bad 1. Restaurant isn't aesthetically pleasing. Lots of items sitting around near customer tables etc. 2. Pricey. Very pricey. 3. The sugarcane juice I ordered tasted funky as if it was pressed few days ago and sat in fridge. It absorbed the taste/smell of whatever it was stored near so it did not taste fresh. Overall.... you should try it out and give it a try. This place has lots of potential with tweaks here and there. The main one is to fix up the inside and not use customer seating area as a storage space.

I visited this location 3 times because I like to give the benefit of the doubt. These are 2 positives I can communicate 1) The front desk staff has always been pleasant and, 2) the dried veggie chips they sale in-house are good. I attempted twice on separate occasions to order a cashew burger but was told it's not available after waiting 5 minutes. Second visit I was informed right away it's not available. This lead me to believe the inventory of desired items is not adequately ordered during week. Today I decided to try the salad that with contains sunflower, kale and spinach. As you can see from the picture the salad did NOT contain any of the 3 key ingredients rather it resembled a premix bag from Publix. Not for nothing, I called to advise the Resturant and was told, the chef said he was out of sunflower. I was not told that in advance. The salad does not have kale in it clearly. It's wilted and has several spoiled leafs. Do not buy expired salad from any vendor vegan or not. I am very disappointed to have driven the distance to be disappointed on more than one occasion. No replacement or curtesy offered by Chef. I would rate negative but Yelp only allows 1 star min.

4/5 Good, healthy food option located in a small strip mall near Jackson North hospital. Really the only place worth going to since the area surrounding the hospital is SATURATED with fast food restaurants. Hakin, the owner, is very friendly, personable and eager to help you order. While the restaurant is called vegetarian restaurant, please note it is actually vegan. I ordered the meatless meatballs sandwich. The bread was soft, the meatless meatballs had good seasoning and the sauce accompanying them was quite tasty as well. I feel like the sandwich would have tasted even better if it was heated a bit, but that may just be my preference. Since the order was taking a bit long to make, Hakin offered me the soup of the day while I waited. Great tasting soup, well seasoned, great ratio of veggies to liquid. I'm glad I got to try it because I'll be more inclined to order a soup with an entree next time I come. Overall, pleasant experience with tasty food which exceeded my expectations of a solely vegan restaurant.

One of the best places for a refreshing cold freshly squeezed cup of pineapple juice or mango juice with many other choices available as well. Try the vegetable soup if you're hungry! It is very delicious and satisfying. My only complaint is that I don't live closer.

Most of the menu wasn't available when I went in. Every time I asked for something that seemed decent, I'd get, "Sorry, we don't have that today." After 4 or 5 times I eventually gave up and left. Didn't even get to try the food.

I am a big fan of the food here, I always get the same thing (gluten free special with a Bermuda). All I can say is--the wait time will drive you mad so call in your order, other than that, owner super friendly, tasty food. Smoothies are extremely good, I'm Not a fan of the juices though but they are okay.

I cannot stress how happy I am that I finally tried this place! Their food is excellent, their produce is excellent, their vibes are excellent. I felt like I was having blessed food, borderline tripping off of all the flavors and spices. The place doesn't look like much but definitely give it a chance. When a food and a people make you feel good the way this place does you know they're doing things right. The staff was warm and attentive, the owner Hakin even stopped to speak for a moment and his respect and love for the concept is evident both in his character and his food. Oh, aaaand you can buy things like ginger ale, homeopathic teas and natural soaps to name a few.

It ok its what you would expect from a vegetarian spot everything's typical nothing exceptional everything is tofu-based unlike some other more adventurous & creative vegetarian places that use other root vegies as a base and experiment with different vegetables to create new exotic dishes.

There's something about the vibe , the random crates on the side that make this place for me! I know everyone today wants an instagramable place but I think the food , the service and the randomness of it all works for me. It's in an okay plaza on north miami on 163rd. A little bit hard to park so have patience. I love when they offer samples when you sit at the table because the two times they have offered me a sample I have ended up ordering that same exact thing. The service : everyone is friendly, helpful , and genuinely trying to get you to understand the menu. The owner is usually there and is very helpful as well. I tried the curry fish with rice and beans and I've also had the ginger chicken with a salad . But my favorite was the sandwich appetizer because being a vegetarian now bad a meat eater before was a hard transition but the meat really messes with your head and you think it's real meat at times! They are very good at making vegetarian recipes taste healthy . Thanks to this team!
