Came for the lunch service and was not let down. Every course had great flavor and the meal was served with nice pace. We were able to watch the kitchen prepare every course and the service was good with explanations of each dish. Inventive dishes that tasted good and left us full and satisfied.

Posting this 2 years after eating there… 🤣The craftsmanship and creativity is mind blowing. One of the best meals we’ve had. Especially loved the twist / unique interpretation on Chinese cuisine - brings back lots of childhood memory for me. Can’t wait to go back again!

Booked this for a high end meal on our trip before we set off for Tokyo and we were not disappointed. Firstly the restaurant is on the 2nd floor of a building - it has a very cool looking dark ambience about it. Quote intimate with only 6 tables or so - but well spaced out so you still feel private at your table. The staff were great and very welcoming. The drinks menu was pretty limited (the only beer is a stout), but the Greek rose wine we ordered was lovely so not a huge issue. Be warned - come hungry! There is a huge amount of food. Won’t give away what the courses are but we thoroughly enjoyed every single 1. A proper fine dining experience. Thoroughly recommend for any food lovers.

Wow wow wow. Hits after hits. Bold rich taste speaks for itself. Elevated and innovative Chinese cuisine at its finest. 10+ course and we selected the 11,000 yen menu; we left really full. Each dish was a banger with no misses. They also thoughtfully catered and prepped for our pescatarian diet. Hands down one of the most delicious meals in recent memory. Can't get better than the price to food ratio, especially at a 2 starred Michelin restaurant. Well worth! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They can explain the ingredients in English and Japanese. The entire restaurant had to more or less eat at the same place which was fine since we took and documented our experience. Reservations made online and we were lucky enough to get one less than one week out. Highly recommended and will definitely be back with family and friends.

Went to Velrosier a while ago and I really enjoyed it. The food was great, the shark fin is truly something special. The foie gras and the dessert were also excellent and tasty. I enjoyed the wine pairings, especially the Mead, it was something unique. The staff was very nice and friendly.

As someone who dinned in a many Michelin restaurants I would like to compliment the creativity of the chef of his interpretation of Chinese cuisine to fine dining. It was outstanding and well deserved its star rating. As well they made a great alternative and show flexibility for gluten free dishes. Thank you

The dining area was lively and cozy, seating around 7 parties. The open kitchen structure was great because we were able to see (and hear) various parts of the chefs cooking processes. Food was good - every dish was well executed and flavored, as opposed to being overly sweet or salty. Highlights for me was the first dessert of almond jelly and the Peking duck inspired course. My partner and I went for the 20000 yen lunch menu, and were stuffed after finishing (I regretted having breakfast). The only thing that I would appreciate a bit more of is vegetable based dishes to break up the heaviness and meatiness of many consecutive meat courses. Service was impeccable, with refills of tea almost every dish, thorough explanations of the dishes themselves, and options to reduce course sizes if you were getting too full. The waiters would also adjust to small things, such as slowing down sauce pours and presentations if you were taking photo and videos.
