"Southern Italian with a view comes at the hands of Arnauld Briand and Carmine Vento. The eggplant rollatini rolled in ricotta is a must-try. And the Risotto Alla Pescatore is must for seafood lovers — with imported arborio rice slowly cooked with clams, mussels, shrimp, scallops, and calamari in a light tomato broth. Request to sit near the restaurant’s namesake windows for a view of the city while you dine on generous portions of pasta and seafood." - Janna Karel

The service was wonderful. Extremely on top of everything. Never had to ask for refills. He comped my soup the moment he learned I didn’t love it. No complaints at all with the staff. But…. This place is insanely expensive for the quality and for what it is. The food was mediocre at best. There was basically no lobster in the lobster bisque. The calamari was good and you get a ton of it. The lasagna was very greasy, the cheese on top was burnt to a crisp and inedible, there were not a lot of noodles and an over abundance of meat. The greasy sauce may have been a personal dislike though. I know some styles of sauce are supposed to be that way but I couldn’t eat it because it was making me queasy. The fettuccine Alfredo was also just ok nothing great.

Food and service is fantastic. We went on 2 different ocassions and sat at the bar. We had veal parm, pesto gnocchi, arancine, Philly steak sandwich, and spaghetti carbonara. First off, a huge shout out to our bartender Archie, he was great to chat with and was very attentive. Now for the food review: - arancine: very good, creamy inside and crunchy outside with the zesty tomato sauce, highly recommend. - veal parm: large patio. And came out piping hot. Veal is usually bland meat, but the flavor of the sauce made up for it. - pesto gnocchi: the gnocchi was fluffy and pillowy. The sauce was extremely garlicky, vampires beware. - Philly cheesesteak sando: highly recommended as a very popular dish. Only critique is that it would've been better on a true hoagie vs. a ciabatta like roll. - spaghetti carbonara: came out piping hot. The crispy panchetta and creamy sauce are smoky and rich. Delicious. - last but not least, the breadsticks... do not sleeping these. They're fluffy, hot, buttery, just delicious. Overall, we will be going back. Such a great place.

It was our first time trying this establishment last night. The Service from the wait staff was great. They were very attentive and we’re at our table every few minutes asking if we needed anything. The food was also delicious.

Great food selections, great wine and great service. They were very attentive and the bread srick were amazing. I have the potatoe-wrapped salmon and my friend had the chicken marsala with cacio e pepe and it was all soo delicious! Can't wait to return.

Amazing atmosphere, and Marcos was a fantastic server! This is a great place for families or intimate moments with a special someone, while looking at the breathtaking mountain views and beautiful Las Vegas Strip right through the glass! Also - thanks again, Mike, for your assistance. You truly went above and beyond to make our last minute birthday plan a success.

I had a birthday party for my wife at Ventano at the City View Room, Jan 2025. Michael the owner/manager helped us, guided us through this fantastic event he did for us. It was one of the best parties we did ever. He helped us pick the appetizers to main entrees to desserts, all super good food, 5 stars across the board, everyone was so happy with the food and service. The price was very fair for the amount of great food. Thanks Mike and Staff for the wonderful evening we had in your restaurant!

We moved here in October of 23 It was our first time in this restaurant. It was Christmas Eve. Of course it was Very busy. The hostess sat us in a reasonable time. We were very pleased with quality of our food and the Ample size portions. The prices are reasonable for the portion size. Our appetizer and entrées Came out hot and very favorable. We are already making plans to return...

I'm not someone who is particularly drawn to Italian food, but when I have the opportunity, I go without any problem, and this place is very good, even worth giving it more than one chance. It looks quite familiar, and you could bring a large group to eat and enjoy their food, ambiance, and great service from the staff. It has some very nice views, the place is very interesting, and a very good Italian restaurant that could be on your top list for this type of cuisine.

Yelp
Italian restaurant located in Henderson. The views here are gorgeous! Almost every table has an expansive views of the Las Vegas Strip. We started with the calamari which was delicious. For my meal I had the Ventano tortellini. Very tasty and filling. I could not finish. Definitely try their martinis, especially the espresso martini! Our server was top notch.

Yelp
Went for an early afternoon dinner with a friend for her birthday. What a disaster, restaurant was fairly empty which normally is a good thing for getting good prompt service. We started by splitting a Ceasar salad, ordered some stuffed baked clams and my friend ordered the grilled salmon, after I asked the waiter about a salmon dish they have wrapped in potato and baked. I ordered the veal francese unfortunately. I have been coming to this restaurant on and off for about 20 years. My friend also ordered a raspberry ice tea, I just was having water. The Ceasar salad came out first with NO shaved parm cheese as stated on menu. For the price it was VERY underwhelming! Next we had tried to order the baked stuffed clams, the waiter came back after we ordered to tell us the chef said they were out and we settled on the mushrooms. When we were served the dish the flavor of the brown sauce was quite odd bitter and about half of the mushrooms tops were burned black. My friend asked for a refill of her ice tea, our waiter took the glass and disappeared for about 15 minutes. We finally had to ask another employee to bring my friend a new ice tea. Next my veal francese was brought out and a potatoe wrapped salmon dish for my friend that she didn't order. This was done by a different person, not our waiter, who was still missing. We explained to the new person that this was NOT what my friend had ordered. My friend and I discussed that she had CLEARLY ordered the GRILLED salmon and only asked about the baked dish. I started looking at my dinner and noticed that there seemed to be NO or very little sauce on my spaghetti, that no one had offered me parmigiana cheese for it. I wanted to wait for my friend to get her meal, she insisted that I should start eating. I cut a piece of the veal, noticed it was quite tough to cut, somewhat dry and when I was chewing it, it was like chewing on a tough piece of hamburger. Next I tried my angel hair spaghetti and noticed their seemed to be no or very little sauce, no chopped parsley and realized nobody had offered to add some cheese. It took 15 minutes for the grilled salmon to show up. I did get the cheese for my spaghetti after having to wave down ANOTHER person (it was weird instead of fresh shaved it was in a small bowl and looked like what you get out of a can from the supermarket, did they run out? Not get a delivery?) Anyway the waiter apologized for getting the order wrong, took the salmon off our bill, no explanation for disappearing or never bringing back my friends ice tea. I was a poker dealer for 20 years who basically lived on tips, I normally tip around 25%. I left $6 on a $60 bill and gave another $5 to second person that actually brought us our meal. I tip in cash so servers can put it into their pocket, not their taxed checks! I have to say this whole thing was a DISASTER! Absolutely wrecked what I hoped was going to be a very nice meal for a great friends birthday! We didn't even stay for dessert!!! At their prices none of this is, was, acceptable! They have lost us both as customers

Yelp
I recently inquired about having a celebration of life at the restaurant. Michael, was extremely helpful and courteous. He put my mind at ease with how easy it was to schedule and how accommodating they were. Thank you for being so obliging during such a difficult time. I will definitely recommend to others.

P S.

Yelp
Food was average. I thought it was a bit overpriced. Service was okay. However, the restuarant charged us twice for the meal. One charge with the tip and the other without the tip. I am disputing is with my credit card company right now. I sure hope this wasn't intentional hoping that I would not be checking my credit card statement! Customers beware. Check your credit card statement after going to this restuarant. Needless to say we will never go there again.

Yelp
It is rare I give a business/restaurant a 5 star rating but in this case the Calamari Fritti is the best I have every had and I have had calamari in over 50 different restaurants over the many years of my life. It was incredibly tender, well seasoned, and fried to perfection. There was not a piece left on the plate. I had the cheese ravioli and my friend had the spaghetti Bolognese. Both were good but the Calamari was the star of the meal. This is the 5th or 6th time I have dined here and it has always be good. Both the food and service.

Nichole C.

Yelp
The bar side was full and very busy, we asked if we could order from him and sit at a table. We ordered 5 things, and only received 4. Prior to us ordering we hit a jackpot and tipped him plenty.. so when we brought up the missing item he seemed annoyed with us. We also ordered some food to go, after inquiring after 40 minutes he definitely forgot and when we got home the food was just thrown in the box. Soooo not a fan of the service. The lamb and the carpaccio were the best things we got. The lobster bisque was less than a cups worth. The clams had ZERO clams but tons of bread crumbs. The menu looked appetizing and the food that walked by looked good. I guess sitting in the dining room would be a better option if you want attention. I honestly don't think I would care to go back considering the bar side left a bad taste in my mouth. Oh well.

Steven O.

Yelp
Okay look the food is pretty good here. I mean every Italian spot does it a little different but it's always really good! Tonight I had the Shrimp Scampi and it was delicious! It's the service though! These folks really go out of their way to be sure you have an extremely enjoyable experience!

Yelp
Service was outstanding, food was top notch And We had the best seat in the house to look over the strip at night !

Yelp
First time here. Celebrated a birthday and anniversary lunch. The staff made us feel as if we've been coming for years with excellent service. We ordered antipasto, fried calamari and stuffed mushrooms for appetizers. All were excellent! The mains were eggplant rollatini, capellini and veal piccata. Very tasty with generous portions and reasonable prices. They surprised us with a cheesecake and tiramisu. Highly recommend this Italian restaurant!

Jessica N.

Yelp
We came to meet some friends and so glad we checked it out! The food was great with generous portions. The wine and cocktails were delicious and the service was attentive, even while busy on a Friday night. They have a nice patio area and a homey ambiance. I loved loved loved the crème brûlée! A must try

Yelp
If you're looking for good Italian food and in the Henderson area check out Ventano Italian Grill & Seafood. The restaurant is always clean and they have plenty of parking. They have a nice selection of wine and the staff is always friendly. Been here a couple of times and have enjoyed the food. They also have a nice size private room in back for private parties. Check them out!

Yelp
We went here with a group of 6, and was greeted by staff right away. We were given breadsticks, and honestly not a fan of them. I think they should have something different maybe make their own. I feel they could definitely take it up a notch like table cloths, make their own fresh pasta to name a few! But the food was very good, I had chicken parm, Caesar salad and it was yummy, I like that the chef came out and introduced himself. Definitely love when an owner walks the floor. And everyone in the group enjoyed their food also. And they have some awesome views! I would definitely go back

Yelp
Such an unusual experience! Hence the mixed reviews...and I do read reviews before trying someplace new. Pros: Our meals were excellent.. obviously a huge plus and primarily why one goes out to eat Cons : Unfortunately- poor service-especially for a holiday meal. Made reservations for Christmas Eve day - called around and Ventano had specials and a time frame that worked well with our schedule. The person taking reservations was kind enough to text a photo of the specials as they were not posted on line. I texted back to confirm prime rib was available ALL day. Yes ! fantastic. Arrived at two - seated promptly. Upon placing our orders we were told the prime-rib wasn't available until three !!! We explained to the manager we were told differently- he asked "what do you want me to do.. give it to you RAW? not exactly a professional response for their mistake. We waited it out until 2:45 for our meals - and given a whopping 10% discount for "our" troubles. The miscommunication could've been helped significantly by a better discount our perhaps a freebie thrown in. .... and even better - have clear communication when posting your specials if they are not available the entire time during the posted event?? Not sure if this is their first time doing this type of special- hopefully they do better

Yelp
Really great dining experience for us. We brought a team in from New England and loved our meal. Thanks Michael! Great lamb chops

Yelp
First off - Our server Efren was so good I'm sitting in the restaurant writing this so I don't forget his name - cause you know - 40something stuff. Anyway not only was he perfectly efficient, gave stellar recommendations and when we had a teenie boo boo on the food delivery which was immediately fixed. The restaurant has THE BEST view of Vegas around. Panoramic patio will be reason #3 that I come back when the weather is good. The restaurant acoustics are shockingly good. I was worried when I saw the high ceilings and wall to wall windows but there wasn't a moment I had a hard time hearing the family talking. Must gets: Antipasta appetizer (chefs kiss) shrimp scampi that puts any San Fran restaurant to shame and the lasagna. I enjoyed the Ventano Spiedini as well but would take the chicken parmigiana over that. Either way you won't be disappointed. A++++, 5 stars all day Oh how did I forget the best crime brûlée I've had in my 40 something something something life

Gail R.

Yelp
Love their food, ambiance and the serving is big! Really worth what you're paying for. Service is excellent, because of how busy they are, the dessert took a while and told them to cancel, when we got the bill they offered all 3 desserts for free!! Amazing!

Evelyn G.

Yelp
Amazing Resturant and the manager is incredible. I have had a few issues with my carryout orders and the staff and management fix me up right away.

Connie S.

Yelp
Service was great, the best part of our meal. My meal, eggplant rotini, was generous in portion. However it did have a 'burnt' smell and taste. Lots of garlic too if you like it.

Robin C.

Yelp
We went there for the Thanksgiving special and we were seated within 10 minutes of our reservation. They were very busy but we were given a lot of attention. We ordered the shrimp on the stone for an appetizer which was excellent and then our main course, the turkey and trimmings special. It was excellent and our server, Marcos, took very good care of us. We have been to Ventano's many times in the past and are always very pleased with our food and service.

Terry M.

Yelp
AMAZING. Supposed to be a party of 4 but one friend stood us up :/ Her loss. Met our friend Sylvia there and I guess she knows one of the waiters, Carlos was it? He was very attentive, checked on us several times, patient with us--we were there almost 3 hours, drinking, eating, (shrimp on a hot stone plate for them and Bruschetta for me) and eating dinner--They got Lasagna, Chicken Fettucine and I got Pomodoro being that I am Plant Based. I brought my own cheese and added capers and Kalamata Olives and it was delicious--very tangy, I loved it. I also had a glass of chianti YUM. The restaurant hostess was so friendly when she greeted us. The whole experience was wonderful, the restaurant was clean and well kept and just wow.... The Bread in the bag, heh, anyone happen to know if that was dairy free? I bet it was delicious but having lactose issues, I was not sure so I avoided it (next time?) My only Negative would have to be the bathroom--The stall did not shut or lock and I was not gonna go do anything in that kind of situation so I held it till I got home. we will be back though--of course! Thanks so much for a wonderful experience!

Vicky H.

Yelp
Great NYE party Awesome food music and service as usual from Carlos So glad we went! And great views

Yelp
Our favorite Italian restaurant! They are more than just a beautiful scenic view. The ambience is amazing & the food is just the BEST! The pasta is homemade, you can tell! The baked clams are one of my favorites. We ask for them extra crispy. The waiters recognize us & often start our two orders of the

Marian S.

Yelp
A family owned business located in Henderson with a stunning view of the strip! Spacious seating and friendly staff. Owner is present at times and ensures he makes rounds to all table. Great hospitality. The food were amazing. The portions are huge, family style. We ordered appetizers that consist of lobster bisque, beef carpaccio, and calamari. Each with its unique taste and seasoned right! Not salty either. Our main course were the Ventano special and ravioli. Again, portion were huge. The special was extra cheesy and very savory. If you're lactose, be careful! Dessert was a huge slice of cheesecake. We had the banana cheesecake and it was topped with bananas with caramel drizzle. Even with 2 people it was hard to finish dessert. Been here multiple times and will continue to come here in the future.

Mattt C.

Yelp
Amazing food, great views, prompt/attentive service and excellent portion sizes. My family and I frequent Ventano's, the food and service is always amazing.

Normand B.

Yelp
Our group of 20+ had our Christmas party here. The price was reasonable and the selection of food was very good and tasty. We had an amazing selection of appetizers and desserts. The service was excellent. I highly recommend this fine restaurant.

Noel M.

Yelp
Great place for family style dining! The entree portions were so huge, that they had to be shared by two people each. The place and ambiance itself was very comforting and old style. Having that "old Italian feel" to it. I think this always bodes well especially if the place is older and well established because it means that people are coming back for the food. The only reason for 1 less star on my rating was because the bread basket they served, I took the first piece and it was hard and burnt. My daughter said that I must have gotten a mutant because all the other bread/rolls in the basket were soft and tasty. Unfortunately, it already left a bad taste in my mouth and I didn't want to try another. However, I felt the best part of the meal was the appetizers. We ordered the scallops on hot stone and they were capital D- "licious". . The calamari was prepared nicely and one of the best I had in a few years. My daughter and I shared the Manicotti and it was very flavorful and well seasoned. Everyone else at the table all had to share plates as like I said previously, the portions are large. After appetizers and breadsticks, you will probably be taking some leftovers home. I don't say this about most places but the service from our waiters (Marcus?) was on another level. He really did a fine job in serving us and recommended a great dessert that many of us at the table shared. I can't remember the name but it was like small donut holes on a very big platter with ice cream and whip cream. Just the right amount of dessert to finish the meal. I believe me and the family would definitely return here and put it in our regular dining rotation.

Steven W.

Yelp
Had friends in town & met them here for dinner. Our meals were great, the Mrs & I both went with the Ventano Tortellini; cheese filled tortellini with large chunks of chicken & mushrooms all tossed in a pink sauce. Then it's all topped with cheese & baked in a oven. We also had a cup of their Lobster Bisque. Everything was pipping hot. Service was good, but one in our party of six had to remind the waiter twice to get his lobster bisque. The views out their large window was just magnificent. The men's room was a bit of a mess with a overflowing trash bin & for some reason had a 4'x8' piece of particle board bolted to the wall. Must've been doing some repairs.

Briana S.

Yelp
We've been going to Ventano's since we've moved here. Ventano's has some of the best Italian food in the Valley. Their food is always fresh and so delicious. The staff is always so kind and generous to us. We love the location and how there's a slight view of the Strip and the rest of the Valley.

Al G.

Yelp
I'm very sorry to say that last Wednesday was my last visit to Ventano! We have a group of six that dines out once or twice per week and we've been to Ventano often, but not for a number of months. When we arrive and we're seated, we noticed that the menu choices had shrunk and the prices for what was left had increased. Not terribly surprising these days, so we weren't too bothered by that. What did bother us, however, was the notices on the bottom of the menu! * No Split Checks * 20% gratuity on parties of 5 or more * 3.5% service charge on credit cards Needless to say, we weren't notified of any of this when we made our reservation, so we got up and left.

Lee S.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place and finally had the opportunity. I ordered the salmon and was very pleased. It was cooked perfectly. It was moist and had great flavor. The portion size was generous and it was priced accordingly. The vegetables were fresh and very flavorful. The dining area is spacious with decor that screams old fashion yet blends in well to the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff is friendly, efficient and demonstrated good customer service. Well done.

Eric M.

Yelp
Ventano Italian Grill is located on Horizon Ridge in Henderson Nevada. It is a restaurant bar, however, touted as more upscale. There is a private well lit parking lot with ample parking all around the business. I have eaten at Ventano before and also ordered their food to be delivered off the Slice app. I am not a frequent diner by any means, but I have eaten here or from here at least half a dozen times. Ventano, what is going on with your food?! We had a 6 top tonight, and from start to finish it was disappointment. Your bread was undercooked, doughy inside. When we brought it to the servers attention, we were told it shouldn't be doughy as it was cooked for the required amount of time. And then the bread was left on the table. The rice balls, although gorgeous in appearance, lacking flavor and the rice was way over cooked (as were all the dishes with rice tonight.). The calamari and shrimp on the stone were delicious as always, I will give credit where credit is due on those. Cooked perfectly and delicious. I ordered what the menu claims to be a seafood risotto dish. When it arrived, I said it was wrong because it looks nothing like a risotto dish. Tasted nothing like a risotto dish either. I was told there was risotto in the dish my the server once again and it was pointed out to me. The risotto was about 3 tablespoons, in a glob and newsflash, it was rice, not risotto. And over cooked mushy gross rice at that. The seafood was decent, however maybe don't serve broken clams in the dish hidden with broth, you end up biting down on broken clam shells and messing up your teeth. The old fashioned I ordered was decent, adequate. My wife ordered a salmon dish and the rice in her plate was also not edible as it was served. I feel your servers and bussers don't take criticism well, as every complaint is met with an argumentative approach by your staff. I have had many great meals here over the last 4 years, however something tonight was seriously awry and needs to be corrected. The only dishes that were good tonight were pasta dishes, 2 of the 4 entrees we ordered. I've always enjoyed your food and service, sadly tonight it was a fail in all areas. I sincerely hope you can recover and get it together, because you generally have outstanding food and service.

Yelp
I had dinner here this evening with my husband and another couple. I am torn between a 3-star or a 4-star rating. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The Hostess was heading for a booth but I whispered to her, "We're too fat for booths." She was great. She turned around and said simply, "Would you prefer a table?" I said I would, please, and she said "How about this one?" She was lovely. We don't think that the waiter ever told us his name; we think it was Carlos; maybe it was Efren. Whatever his name, he was a good waiter and knew his product. Laura asked for his opinion between two dishes, he quickly replied "the Chicken Francese and then I'll add some capers." He sold it. Laura and my husband both ordered the Chicken Francese with capers ($29.50). Both diners found it to be too lemon-forward. I had Hubby's leftover pasta at midnight and agree that it was too lemon-forward. I typically want Piccata to be lemon-forward; this was too much lemon. The pasta didn't have enough Piccata sauce on it; it was dry. When I re-heated the leftovers, I added butter. The servings of both chicken and linguini were very generous. Both people ate one piece of chicken and took one piece home in a go-box, along with a lot of pasta. My friend started with the Lobster Bisque in a bread bowl ($14.50). I started with the Warm Spinach Salad ($13.75). Carlos helped me chose a white wine to go with the Salad; it was a good choice ($9.50). My problem is that the Warm Spinach Salad was over-dressed. It was drowning in salad dressing. Whoever cleared my plate saw that I only ate half of the salad and should have, therefore, asked if there was a problem with it. Carlos helped my husband choose a Chianti. We knew we wanted a Chianti but there were several from which to choose. Again, his recommendation was a good one ($50). We waited a long time to get bread. It was very hot when it was served to us; right out of the oven. After that long wait, I was disappointed. It could have used a bit more fat on top (either butter or olive oil), as well as some cheese. I did not especially care for the Puttanesca ($23.50) and only ate half, if that much. When my plate was cleared, someone should have asked if there was a problem with the dish. There wasn't; I had never had Puttanesca before and wanted to try it; I tried it; it was OK but I won't order it again. Regardless, when a diner eats only half of a dish and doesn't ask to take it with, servers should ask if there was a problem with the dish. Water glasses were kept filled. The waiter didn't disappear after giving my husband the check (which happens so often. Right?). So I had talked myself into a 4-star rating but, honestly, 3.5 is the right score. THEN I read a review which said Ventano added a fee for using a credit card. I pulled our receipt. Yep. Dinner was $212.75 + $17.82 sales tax. Then the restaurant added $8.07 for "non cash adj." I guarantee you that we had enough cash on us to have paid cash for dinner had we been given the option. Not giving us an option is a bit unethical; therefore, I just cut the rating from 4 stars to 3. I understand that the restaurant might need to find ways to cut expenses or increase revenue. May I suggest that you cut back on portion sizes and drop the "non cash adj" fee. FYI: The food at Gaetano's is so much better than Ventano's.

Yelp
This is a difficult review to leave. I absolutely love this place. The grilled romaine is to die for the meals are exquisite and the staff are all top notch always looking to go that extra step. And the view is amazing. With that said my recent trip brought light to something that has me scratching my head? We get the bill and it looks high. While I am trying to figure out the 20+% tip I want to write into the blank on the merchant copy of the bill I start to wonder if the bill is correct so I look over the itemized bill and notice that the 20% gratuity had already been added ?? Our party was 5 and nowhere did it say or were we told that the tip was already included. If we had not looked the staff would have gotten 45%! What??? The fact that this was hidden in the itemized bill and a blank was left on the merchant copy to add tip (not additional) is intentionally misleading and borders on theft. Have they done this to me before and I didn't catch it? I know they didn't write the POS software but they do have a duty to inform the customer of the double charge.

Yelp
We just moved to the area and our first night out for dinner was at Ventano; looked beautiful from the outside and, yes, it had great views from the restaurant and patio. That was where the fun, more or less, ended. Our waiter was polite enough, but was wearing a sports team tee shirt instead of something professional and the dining room lights were way up, so no real ambiance. We ordered wine and Calamari. Calamari was a big portion for two of us and nicely fried, but a little chewy. They brought bread rolls in a paper bag, tasted good, but poorly presented. My wife ordered lasagna and I ordered rolled chicken skewered and shrimp with pasta. The lasagna was served in a bowl filled with sauce, unrecognizable as lasagna and was so over-baked (or reheated) that it was literally so burned across the entire top that any cheese was blackened. The temperature was so hot it was inedible for 10 minutes. I've never seen lasagna so poorly prepared. My chicken and shrimp dish was not fresh either and appeared to be reheated; shrimp and pasta was swimming in too much sauce. Nothing about this dinner was impressive. We won't be back.

Yelp
The calamari was crispy. The chicken Madeira, though looks flavorful with all the sauce was so tasteless. I never put salt on my food, and had to add salt, my sister said it tasted like chowmein lol. Antipasto was like a charcuterie board. I didn't eat the salmon or lamb so I can't speak on that. But the one thing I did like was the carbonara, that was good. I had a bite but it wasn't my food. We went for my brothers bday so we had 7 people. On the menu it says automatic 20% gratuity, which is fine. We noticed our main waiter only came by 3 times. Once to introduce himself, second to take our order, and then he quickly passed by to ask how our food was. The second waiter was more attentive, which was nice. Also be aware that if you use any credit card, there is a 3.5% service fee charge. Overall, even though this restaurant is close to our place, I would try other Italian restaurants next time I'm craving Italian.

Yelp
Amazing servers! They were on top of everything. Veal Parmesan was great, but took a LONG time to come out. I ordered the shrimp on a stone. Tons of baby shrimp cooked perfectly with 2 sauces. I liked the horseradish sauce. The other one was too sweet. Ordered the Caprese salad. The tomatoes were so unripe they were crunchy. I mentioned it to our server and they took it off the bill. We didn't order dessert, but mentioned it was our 43rd anniversary. They brought us a Tiramisu gratis. Hubby said it was great. I don't like coffee

Yelp
People of color should steer clear from using Yelp! as they delete reviews that mention anything about racism, sexism, etc. Yelp! tried to remove my review for being honest about racism. I will NEVER back down when it comes to matters of racism, sexism, etc. They are trying to silence those who are oppressed, giving power to the oppressors. As a person of color, I have the right to know if/when a business owner or employee portrays racist behavior; Yelp! has NO right to try to silence honest reviewers. Yelp! can close my account if they want to, but I will not back down because they fail to have a backbone and like to side with racists. Now, onto my review, which I will repost in its entirety. It is absolutely incredible just how abysmal my experience with this restaurant was. I literally wouldn't wish this experience on the devil himself. To begin, I placed an order here for delivery at 2:13pm. The order was slated to be made and delivered within 45 minutes (so, by 2:58pm). Fast forward to 3:05pm, no food. No biggie, only a few minutes late, right..? So I decide to give the restaurant a call to see how much longer it would be. Called, rung a while, picked up, immediately hung up on. Wow. Called right back, rung a while, finally got someone. Inquired with the girl who answered to see how long before had the delivery driver left. She took my info, and then said the driver was there, but hadn't left yet because my food wasn't ready. At this point, it was already 12 minutes past the time that I was supposed to receive my food, and it wasn't even done cooking yet! I immediately asked to speak to a manager. A male manager came on the line, and was immediately defensive. I asked if he could refund a portion of the order, since it was going to be arriving considerably late after the delivery deadline, and would literally derail the remaining schedule of my day. His response to me was, "Your doctor is always late, but you don't scream for a refund from him!" Literally giving me analogy after analogy on how I should have some nerve asking to be compensated for THEIR error. He argued with me for a good 5 minutes, barely letting me get a word in edgewise. Total utter and complete lack of respect for not only his customers, but people in general. He finally consented to refunding a portion of the order after MUCH back and forth. Now, fast forward to another 30 minutes later, I finally get my food. Fittingly delivered by a complete trash bag. He immediately texts me following the delivery (that he didn't follow directions for AT ALL), accusing me of being cheap and calling me racist, sexist names. I've learned from living in Vegas and seeing all the methheads that get delivery jobs here, to NEVER tip beforehand. You will get your tip when you have knocked on my door, handed me my food, and completed my order. And THIS mentality is exactly why. You do your job right, you get paid; you go above and beyond, you get tipped. As a person who worked YEARS in the service industry, I understand from experience. He never even bothered to knock on my door, so how the hell would he expect a tip from someone who didn't even know he was there?? Bottom line, this restaurant and its drivers can choke on a fat poker chip. I will never order delivery from here again, or even step foot in this restaurant. I will also inform all of my friends how disgustingly racist this establishment is. Oh, and did I mention that they didn't even deliver my entire order? Requested a full refund, because I'd die before I eat something a racist delivered (or die because of it...).

Yelp
Amazing atmosphere, and Marcos was a fantastic server! This is a great place for families or intimate moments with a special someone, while looking at the breathtaking mountain views and beautiful Las Vegas Strip right through the glass! Also - thanks again, Mike, for your assistance. You truly went above and beyond to make our last minute birthday plan a success.

Yelp
We had an absolutely lovely evening! Terrific service, generous and tasty portions, great wine. All at an excellent value I thought. I wish it weren't so casual though I recognize it's a neighborhood place. I also wish the Italian sausage had more spice to it. We found it a little bland as it was. Overall, absolutely a fantastic experience!! We'll definitely be back!!

Yelp
Well it says Italian and seafood..not much seafood on menu..disappointed, then what Italian place serves dry bread sticks with olive oil and balsamic..where is the Italian seasonings.. Then who serves Alfredo when you can't taste anything but basic cream sauce If you want 1.00 worth of pasta at a 25 dollar plate this is for you.. Never going back, service was horrendous, no management presence, no check back after food drop..and needless to say only 3 tables in restaurant should have been a clue

Yelp
This is my family's go-to spot. We love the food, and Carlos our server whenever we can get him, the vibe and everything else that makes Ventano's so fabulous. Highly recommend, and we will return again and again and again!

Yelp
I had my 60th birthday there and it was awesome! Mike and his team were incredible. He made it so easy to arrange this dinner party. The food was amazing! The room was beautifully set up and it was a seamless evening so everyone could relax and enjoy.

Yelp
Although we were not happy with the food we got delivered, the owner was very nice, gave us a refund and reached out to me to see what was wrong. He obviously cares about his restaurant and his customers. We will probably try it again.

Yelp
Consistently excellent food and service! Sweeping city views are a bonus. Thanks Chef Arnauld and staff. You're second to none.

Yelp
I am bummed to write this review, the last time I ate at Ventano was about 10 years ago and I remember it blew my mind. My husband and I dined here earlier this week and I was hyping it up to him so much. However, our food fell short of expectations. We split a Caesar salad and it was just sad lettuce and tons of dressing. No croutons, nothing. All of that for $9. My husband got the lasagna and I ordered my favorite the Ventano Tortellini. My meal was completely different than what I remembered and my husband lasagna was dry. However, they did put a massive amount of cheese on top of both dishes (I love cheese, but DANG that was a lot of cheese). Overall, we paid around $70 for food we did not enjoy. The service was great though!

Yelp
Imagine Thanksgiving day....we dont want to cook! Let the experts do it...and boy did Mike and his amazing team do an amazing job today! The place was packed and spilled out thru the doors. The Ventano team handled the hungry guests with kindness and grace. My parents and I had ordered the Thanksgiving turkey dinner along with the shrimp on the hot grill, rack of lamb, apple pie, pumpkin pie and the chocolate molten cake. It was all delicious All I can say is, "thank you to Mike and your great team...cooks, servers, hostesses, runners and bus people. You all did such a great job!

Yelp
Delicious food always! Great service and ambiance every time. The owner is there often and always goes to the table to check on things, it makes it feel special.

Yelp
This was by far my favorite Italian restaurant when we lived in Vegas. So many great options here, it's difficult to list them all. The shrimp on a stone is the perfect way to start a meal - very few places offer this dish and I have yet to find one who comes close to executing it as well. The calamari was always excellent and the perfect balance of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I always found it hard to decide on which chicken dish to order, because they were all done so well. The Marsala, Piccata, Scalopini, Madeira, Francese and Parm are all excellent choices. Heck, swap out the chicken for shrimp and it's the same level of excellence. This was a popular destination for us for all occasions - dates, birthdays, family dinners, anniversaries, or just because we were hungry. The staff, the including the owner and head chef (Arnauld) were always friendly and welcoming. He regularly makes the rounds and greets his guests - our kids still remember him. I wish more places took this approach because it absolutely builds a connection and loyalty. The restaurant itself has a nice view of The Strip in distance and plenty of indoor or outdoor dining. The inside has an elegant, but approachable Tuscan feel. Very comfy and warm. Can't wait until I return to Vegas for a visit and get to dine with them once again.

Yelp
Very nice atmosphere !! Our server was fantastic We were disappointed in food thou It was good, just not great ! We had a craving for baked clams and when they came out, it was nothing I've ever seen before . It was prepared almost like a baked ziti dish It was ok, but not the traditional baked clams we were hoping for I had the potato crusted salmon and it was good, again not great
