⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ANTHONY is amazing! You can tell he truly takes pride in what he does. The food is always cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and made with care. Beyond that, he’s just a great person to be around cool, friendly, and welcoming to everyone who comes in. He talks to everybody, makes people feel comfortable, and brings great energy to the place!! It’s rare to find someone who’s both talented in the kitchen and genuinely kind with people, but Anthony is exactly that. You can feel the heart he puts into his work. Much respect….keep doing what you’re doing. God bless 🙏🏽

Honestly, the spot has one of the best happy hour deals ever when it comes to drinks. It’s pretty affordable, especially since they open their new diner next-door. I like coming here before UT games, the vibe is nice and they have very large screens all over the place so it’s pretty hyped up, the vibe is good. Everything is covered in vintage UT memorabilia. Nice patio vibes, conveniently located in West campus so it’s a nice spot for UT students .

I thought this place would be mid at best- it's bar in the middle of West campus, how could it actually be?? Boy was I wrong. Three burgers in and this is still one of the best burgers I've had in Austin??? Everything is so fresh, juicy, SEASONED, and made with love. The flavors melt together so perfectly and I love how they get the patty edges to crisp. They make their sauces in house, and as a ranch lover I was more than pleased. They've got one burger option and that's all you need. Reasonably priced ($13) and the interior is adorable- I had no idea they had a separate building from the main bar. The waffle fries ($7/ $4with burger) are scrumptious and the perfect color with not too much grease. The dirty fries are decent, definitely good to share with multiple people because it's a lot and a bit intense. Wish it had a little more chicken, which was perfectly crispy, moist and flavored. Overall, you gotta try this damn burger y'all. My roommate and I were salivating to have it again.

Hugh is my boy I’ve never met a bartender who’s so far to his clients. Not only does he satisfy all his guests he entertains them and makes them feel valued as a customer. I’d never come back to any other bartender than Hugh he is simply the goat and if you don’t get a drink from him you did victory lap wrong. some may say he is hubby material.

Victory Lap Bar on the west side of campus is hands down one of my favorite spots! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the friendliest staff—Cameron, Dre, Nico, and the whole team make you feel right at home. They’re not only super personable, but they’re also really knowledgeable when it comes to drink recommendations. I’ve asked for their suggestions a few times, and each time they’ve nailed it, tailoring the drinks to exactly what I was in the mood for! And don’t even get me started on the food—it's incredible! You wouldn’t expect such amazing food at such an affordable price, but Victory Lap delivers. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or something more substantial, you won’t be disappointed. If you’re in the area, this place is a must-visit. Great vibes, awesome staff, and top-notch drinks and food. I’ll definitely be back!

I wanted to go here with my bf one night, when we got to the entrance the bouncer happily checked my ID but after checking my bfs ID he then asked us if we knew about an event? After checking socials and watching other people enter we concluded there was no ‘event’ that night. I’m not one to pull this card but I think it was only after seeing my bf was Asian he did not want to let us in. Extremely rude we just wanted to try victory lap so we went to cables instead. If there really was some exclusive ‘event’ would appreciate it being more clear on social media or online!

This is definitely a place for the "kids" lol. Located in the midst of the UT campus, it's a fun bar with live music, games, ice cold drinks, and yummy bar food. I say it's a place for the kids because it's obviously a college bar. Still, we were there around dinner time on a weekday and didn't feel out of place. Bartenders were super nice. They have a huge outdoor patio area with a stage, cornhole, etc. The food section is a little restaurant in a separate building from the bar all on the same property. Good experience.

Radu was the man, made our visit enjoyable af. Great vibes, great cocktails. Awesome place to watch the game too.

Based on the reviews, the vibe must vary based on the day or the week / time of day. I'm the afternoon, it has a chill ambiance, a place to get some work done and an awesome bartender. The drink Menu is fairly standard, but I really appreciate what they did with the space that used to be a Smoothie King. Their outdoor patio has plenty of seating, umbrellas and a giant projection screen. Definitely will be back to check out the upstairs pool hall and the diner area. Both are supposed to open several months down the road. Cheers!

Confused about the bad reviews below... must've been 1 group that had a bad time. I went to victory lap for the first time this weekend before the UT game and it was a blast! Obviously super busy so waiting for a drink or bathroom took longer than usual but it was packed with UT energy and fun!! We had these orange creamsicle drinks that were super tasty! The pizza at Noccos was so delicious so make sure you grab that while you're there. Also they had free hotdogs in the back which was awesome??? The ambience is super cute and the bartender was kind and goofy. We all had good fun and would love to go back!!!

I'd says that these winds taste better than BWs. The price for these wings are $15 for 10 which is decent for a game day event. I would say that had were juicy but could have been spicer. We had the Buffalo Wild Wings with ranch although, i think you can request more buffalo sauce on the side. The best part is the area on game day with great views on the outdoor monitor and vendors with cool swag before the game.

Victory Lap is the best place for drinks in West Campus! Such a fun atmosphere, especially on game days. They're always showing any major program on their giant screens, super fun for shows like The Bachelor! The food at the diner is also great and very reasonably priced.

Victory Lap is a cute sports bar with very reasonably priced food, $10 Espresso Martini's, a great viewing experience for sports (go 'Stros!), and very friendly and energetic staff! The drinks were tasty and came out quick, and the food at the other building was cheap and satisfactory as far as less-than-$8 bar-food goes. Yes, there is an automatic 20% tip, and whilst it didn't bother me personally they should really just adjust menu pricing and build tip+tax into the cost of each item considering that it isn't a very expensive bar to begin with, especially by Austin standards. 8/10 would recommend. They also take Apple Pay for anyone that's curious!

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing pizza & music!!! Definitely worth checking out. Don't let the bad reviews deter you from coming here. It's only 8pm on a Friday and on campus! These people are ridiculous

Cool outdoor bar. Was supposedly newly renovated but really nothing special about it at all. Has a food truck with pizza. They were showing football game on big tv but multiple times it went out. Beware that they automatically add 20% tip here to your tab

great game atmosphere, decent drink prices, and the diner in the back is good as well. would definitely recommend especially with the temperatures dropping in November.

I have tried to visit more than a handful of times to their new cafe and I'm always coming into the issue of it never being open or it being empty. It is very inconvenient to travel and business hours are not being respected.

Would be a good sports bar if they had TVs that worked. Been here for 3 game days and every time they can't get the TVs to work consistently.

My husband is the biggest longhorn fan, so my friends and I made plans to watch the game at Victory Lap after seeing it all over our Instagrams. When we arrived, there were tons of people there ready to cheer on the longhorns. We made our way into the bar, where I ordered a rum punch. It was a delicious beverage, and my group and I followed up our first round of drinks by ordering an XL slushee. Their dreamsicle machine went down when we went to order, so we were left with having to order the Baja blast option. It was tasty, and more than enough for our group of 4! If you're ordering it with the hopes of getting a lot of liquor, the drink doesn't have a lot and is premade. There is extremely limited opportunities for tables here. Dozens of people had to sit on the turf to watch the game. I hope the bar adds more in the future, and we did hear they're planning to expand by opening a kitchen in the building behind their Italian food truck. My husband and one of my friend's ordered food from the truck, and they both loved the food!There is little to no shade here, and the only relief from the sun our group received was because 2Hoots placed their tent over us once their team was done tabling at Victory Lap after the whenwherewhat tailgate ended. I hope they can add umbrellas to all of their tables, because our group wouldn't have lasted outside as long as we did without a tent over us. My friends and I had originally believed they only had two toilets, because their bathrooms inside are a one toilet per bathroom situation. Then, we discovered they had upscale outdoor bathrooms outside! The women's side had two stalls and had a sink inside, which was greatly appreciated! The service here was great, and I really appreciated that they had servers walking around picking up trash and checking in on guests. I also have to shoutout their attention to detail when decorating! I adored that the inside of the bar's walls were lined in newspaper clippings of things that happened at UT in the past. I definitely recommend swinging by to watch the game at such a cool spot, but I hope they upgrade some parts of their bar to better serve high capacity events.

Victory lap has it all. Great food, drinks, atmosphere. Best fried pickles in Austin. Super flexible venue for any sort of event needs. Highly recommend!

This is one of the best places to come and watch any UT game. They have amazing deals for drinks and food. They also have a lot of events which are great for just going with friends and having a drink.

The only reason why my experience isn't 5 stars is because of Lucas. The rest of the servers were so sweet but Lucas really dragged the positive energy DOWN

Don't go for the food, but always a great time. Top hangout for football saturdays and Longhorn fans!

Favorite spot for watching a UT game or just meeting up with friends. Loved the memorabilia at the bar and diner. The drink specials are amazing and my favorite is their frozen margarita. Staff is awesome and the atmosphere is always great. Tons of good food options...all around solid sports bar!

Went here for the Texas Alabama game and it was a great bar. Fair priced drinks, solid food at the pizza truck, and great vibes in a prime location. All of the bad reviews are from nerdy students who don't like that there an establishment playing loud music. West campus is the college student, party focused neighborhood around UT. These kids are either entitled to think things will change because of them or were too dumb to know what goes on in west campus. Just look up victory lap on UT Austin's subreddit and it's just a bunch of people complaining. They're saying they will tank the reviews of this place until it shuts down so they stop playing music at night. Support this business! Places like this is what makes being a student at UT great. Can't wait to come back soon!

Poor ambience -- music way too loud -- couldn't hear anyone talk. My friend and I were repeating "what did you say???" over and over. Our server was rude and my "drink" was almost all ice. Unimpressed. Won't go back.

They didn't speak english in the restuarant, so sent me to the bar...The manager charged me $14+ for $7 menu item...which includes french fries, tall funny looking blond boy...says he also charged me for frys. They send me around to get my tenders back to the restuarant after a 15 minute wait at the bar. The bouncer stops me and says he will knock the coke out of my hand if I try and leave the bar area and go to the restuarant....considered calling police, totally disrespectful.

This bar adds on 20% gratuity for self serve drinks served in plastic cups. Not only that, but they then "offer" a tip selection when you check out of 10% . Deceptive practices makes me wonder what else they will pass along.

bartenders are great! the GM Kiki Banks however threatened to call the police on me (a black woman) after confronting her about a personal issue that could have been handled differently hopefully this doesn't get deleted but i'm pretty sure threatening to call the police when there's no threat or anything actually happening is giving very discriminatory and racist!

I asked the bartender what was in one of the 6$ mixed shots and he said he didn't want to make it and it I should order something else instead. I ordered his suggested alternative and he didn't bother to tell me it was double the price and included a 20% automatic gratuity. I was visibly annoyed at the price and he said "You shouldn't have trusted me" and then flipped over the Ipad for me to give him another tip.

the staff here was super friendly, couldn't find my phone and this super great guy chandler helped me out and was honestly such a great help

way too loud with poor ambiance. can't hear other folks when indoors and i've heard students who are in the apartments around campus complain about the noise levels. this bar won't be getting any more of my money
