New Sports Bar Victory Lap Opens in Austin for Football Games and Burgers | Eater Austin

"Opening in time for the University of Texas Longhorns' first home game on Saturday, September 2, this new West Campus sports bar at 504 West 24th Street replaces a Smoothie King and focuses on classic game-day fare — smash burgers, wings, fried chicken sandwiches and fries — paired with eight beers on tap, bottled wine and beer, and cocktails such as an espresso martini and a spicy watermelon margarita. The space includes both indoor and outdoor seating, with the parking lot converted into a turf-lined patio outfitted with misters, fans and a large TV for watching games. Operated by the fast-growing NoCo hospitality group (behind Estelle’s, Skinny’s Off Track Bar, Superstition and Higher Ground), it will be open Sunday–Wednesday 11 a.m.–1 a.m. and Thursday–Saturday 11 a.m.–2 a.m., with earlier openings for morning games." - Erin Russell
