The 9 Best Restaurants & Bars In Raleigh, North Carolina 2024

"Vidrio’s dining room gives off strong oil tycoon vibes, with soaring ceilings, colorful blossom-shaped glass decorations, and a smaller bar overlooking the street, but this Mediterranean restaurant isn’t all show. The menu might read kind of generic—there’s roasted chicken, hangar steak, and seared salmon—but everything is expertly executed. The skillet cornbread with truffle butter will make you wonder why you ever settled for boxed, and seasonal specials like lamb tagine or baklava are worth trying if you spot them." - eric ginsburg

Second visit for me. Good both times. Lovely small plates of all kinds. Great service. Interesting environment. The bartender saved me by asking if I wanted my drink spicy or not (not). I hadn't realized what one of the ingredients was. I've visited before and though I didn't love every small plate I tried, it was all great quality and a wonderful experience. Everyone at my table of 3 had a great dinner.

If you’re looking for a spot that perfectly blends vibrant Mediterranean flavors with a unique, eclectic atmosphere, Vidrio is a must-visit! We recently had a fantastic dining experience here and were blown away by both the food and the service. We started with a couple of small plates—the Fig and Bleu Cheese Flatbread, which had a perfect balance of sweet and savory, and the Moroccan Beef Skewers, which were flavorful and beautifully spiced. For our large plates, the Seared Ōra King Salmon was cooked to perfection—tender and buttery with a crisp sear—and the Grilled Lamb Loin was incredibly juicy and well-seasoned. What really elevated our night was our server, Lawrence, who also happened to be a sommelier. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly—offering excellent recommendations for both food and wine pairings that really enhanced the meal. The decor is just as memorable as the menu—an eclectic and artistic space that makes the whole evening feel special. Whether you’re out on a date night or catching up with friends, Vidrio has the right vibe. Highly recommend—can’t wait to come back!

Had high expectations about this place but the food was sadly a let down. We tried the Hummus plate, Moroccan Beef skewers and the Cheese Croquettes. All of them need some kick/sauce to it. We asked for some hot sauce but we were given something that was again bland. We also tried the Nutella cheesecake for dessert and it was decent. We asked the server if the chef had changed recently, since according to my friend, the food was great last time. And not surprisingly it had. So overall, it was a disappointment in terms of food, but the ambience and the service is great though.

Google
Have been a couple of times to the bar and for restaurant week decided to make a table reservation. My friend and I tried almost everything on the restaurant week menu. The seasonings were delicious on the steak and the desserts were also delicious and well thought out. The interior dining area is beautiful.

This was our second time here and it was even better than the first time. Our server Mike was very attentive, sweet, and had a wonderful sense of humor. We enjoyed the carrots and the cheese balls (can't remember the name of the dishes) from the small plates. The balls had layers of flavors that just kept going. :) We also tried the seared hallumi cheese and the lamb. The lamb was cooked to perfection and the arugula and candied lemon really made the cheese pop. For dessert we tried the Moroccan lemon cake. When eating a bite with the rum sauce and the raspberry Gelato, I had an out of body experience. 😍 Highly recommend going here!

Astounding!!...Amazing! Scrumptious, Professional & Scenic!! This describes Vidrio in all essence of this venue, the experience and the food!!! I hosted (with the help of Lisa Lambert, Vidrio Event Planner) my wifes 60th birthday SURPRISE celebration (with 60+ attendees - on Fiera & Mezzanine 2nd floor) on 3/22/25. WOWWW!!! The servers, the venue, the event planning process, the CHEF (SAM!!!!, you are a joy & palette talent) and the decor are just mind blowing! 10 out of 5! This is off the charts!! From Lisa to Sam to Kristen to the servers, bar staff ...THANK YOU FOR WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! We returned for dinner a week later and were just as amazed at the dining experience. Michael R. Went here with a friend, decided to splurge a little because why not. Definitely a very nice atmosphere and designed beautifully. However that’s where the pros for us stopped. We ordered small plates first and those were good, but nothing really out of the ordinary. The kicker was the fact that the king seared salmon was supposed to be seared nicely on the outside, but as described to us by our server “sashimi” grade on the inside. I love raw fish and even pan seared if the inside is the correct texture and finish. Instead I got almost well done salmon, the sear on the outside was great, and crispy. Inside left a lot lacking. I felt like I was eating food lion salmon you cook in a pan yourself. My friend got the lamb, and we both tasted it, and it tasted like ham… and I’ve had lamb before many places. I did like the oysters included in my dish, they were very good. I asked for an amaretto sour, and let me warn you, there was barely any sour in there. It was more bitter than any amaretto I’ve had before and that’s my go to drink at any bar. I finished it because I paid for it but overall this experience left the tastebuds lacking and stomachs not as full as we would have liked. Portion sizes are on the smaller side even though they are meant to be shared. Our server was very nice, no issues there our main issues were with the kitchen. My friend also found a gnat in his sauce w the lamb but we didn’t want to cause our server any trouble because she was sat a large party in addition to us.

I celebrated my birthday here and Kristen was FANTASTIC! Her customer service was 10/10 and she made our first experience well worth it especially on a rainy evening. Although we were a day shy of the live music I would definitely recommend this place if you enjoy great ambiance and good service. The Moroccan beef skewers were so good!

Yelp
Another excellent meal at this spectacular spot. The dining room is SO impressive - the decor just makes you smile and KNOW that you're going to enjoy your meal. The tapas-style meal is perfect for this setting. Taste a variety of different options, perfectly by our server Erin. Thanks, Erin for making the experience a pleasure. Your expertise to explain each dish, timing to make sure service wasn't rushed and your smile and charm are all very much appreciated! I can't say that there was a standout. Everything was delicious from drinks to dessert. This is the kind of place that you want to take a date, you want to bring family and friends, you want to bring a business associate. Delicious to the eyes and the palate.

Yelp
The vibe and aesthetic was truly sublime. It was fun to take out of state visitors here! We ordered a lot of small plates to share for 4 people and loved most of the food. It was pricey for 4 people and not as filling as we would've liked for the price. The service was above average and they were flexible regarding where we wanted to sit in the beautiful dining area!

Yelp
I went to Vidrio in Raleigh for my birthday dinner and, unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. While the ambiance was stunning and had the perfect vibe for a date night, the food and drinks were a huge disappointment. The drinks were batch-made, as confirmed by our waitress, and tasted extremely weak--more like juice than cocktails. For the price, we expected much better. As for the food, it was underwhelming across the board. I ordered the scallops, which were $33 for just four small pieces--far too expensive for the portion and quality. My husband's fettuccine Alfredo was bland, and the $22 portion size was comparable to a child's plate. Our guest had the lamb chops and hanger steak, both of which lacked flavor, were served lukewarm, and felt overpriced given the presentation and taste. Vidrio has a beautiful setting that could make it a great spot for a date night, but the food and drinks just don't justify the cost.

Yelp
I will preface this by saying my first time going was on December 31st, so there is grace for that. I ended up going because my wife had gone to a work dinner and raved about the food. We had reservations at 9 but didn't get seated until around 30 minutes after that. The kitchen seemed to be behind so we didn't order a lot of food as we didn't want to spend our entire night waiting. We ordered two dishes to share. The potato bravas was the best potato dish I had in 2025 and is definitely my favorite potato dish in NC. I am writing this review because they were that good. I'm hoping to go back and try more of the food at a time when the environment isn't so hectic

Yelp
Food was fresh and great. The ambiance is so beautiful. Wait staff was very friendly.

Yelp
Everything was great here. The food was amazing! I had a few small plates and they were all great but my absolute favorite was the patatas bravas. Ainsley my waiter was great. She was very attentive and very nice! The hostess was very sweet and pleasant. The restaurant is decorated beautifully. It was my first time here and I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Made a reservation the day before for a Saturday evening. Parking can be difficult on Glennwood but there are lots/garages around for pay. Service and food were excellent. Would absolutely return for a nice dinner or date.

Yelp
A girlfriend and I were only in Raleigh for a night, so I was a little overwhelmed with restaurant choices, but I'm glad we chose Vidrio! The space is gorgeous and everything from the cocktails to the food was delicious. We got the French Quarter (deliciously smoky) and the Kast Away cocktails, then shared the hummus, beef skewers, and papatas bravas (all so flavorful and scrumptious). Highly recommend!

Yelp
Dined here for my birthday & enjoyed every single moment. Reservations for 3 were originally set for 6:00 pm and we were able to make a quick modification to update it to 6:15pm without a fuss. Things to consider before booking a reservation : - Small plates can be shared -the menu is smaller than the avg. (not a bad thing as it commits to the dish on the menu) - if you're ordering with a large group, keep in mind all items may come out at a separate times -the food is delicious Would recommend!

Yelp
Upscale place serving yummy small plates. This was our first visit so we sampled several small plates and enjoyed a very nice Greek white wine. Everything was delicious including the beef skewers which were seasoned perfectly. Service was friendly, fast, and helpful (as a first timer). The interior is expansive, modern, and just delightful. Loved the dining room with the high ceiling and glass art. Worthy of 4 stars. Very solid choice for date night : )

Yelp
service was terrible -- they forgot my order but at least they comp'ed the bread (but why was bread $8 in the first place??). i ended up just getting my food to go but they forgot the honey with the bread and gave a tiny amount of yogurt. food was fine, for the price. overall a very limited menu, especially for a place that touts itself for mediterranean cuisine. i actually really enjoyed the patatas bravas, which were tossed in this delectably creamy and sour paprika sauce. as someone who enjoys sour things, i loved it, but i think its polarizing. cheese croquettes were yummy as well, could definitely taste the manchego, but were sweeter than i would've liked. from there, things rapidly went downhill. the only "main" aka small dish combo that i would order again is the carrots-- so soft, sweet, and cuminy. mari's octopus was saltier than the sea and the beef skewers were aight.

Yelp
Vidrio turned out to be an amazing discovery during our visit right after Christmas. So many places were closed on December 26th, but Vidrio welcomed us, and we couldn't have been luckier! The food here is not just delicious, it's mind-blowing! The Moroccan beef skewers were an absolute perfection - juicy, flavorful, and that sauce? Pure magic. And come on, they are not a small plate at all, like they say on a menu; there are 5 skewers for 12 dollars! That's practically a steal! I could've easily called it a day after those skewers. Stuffed piquillo peppers brought a tender flavor, while the cheese croquettes were an explosion of bright cheese goodness. Those croquettes were a masterpiece - tender on the inside thanks to the bechamel sauce and crispy on the outside. The hummus had its own thing going on - the sour cherries added such a unique flavor, and the chickpeas brought the crunch. A simple dish elevated to gourmet levels! And the prices were totally fair for this quality. As for dessert, we were so stuffed we couldn't even think about it! Also, I want to mention an impressive wine selection - 40 different kinds available in 3 oz. pours. A dream for wine tastings! That's on my bucket list for the next visit. Vidrio's interior is simply stunning! High ceilings, colorful handmade glass decorations covering an entire wall - it's like dining in a modern art gallery. And the restaurant is huge, with three different rooms, including one on the second floor. There's plenty of space to explore and enjoy. Vidrio has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants, even rivaling some spots in Charlotte. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes. Cheers to unexpected culinary adventures!

Yelp
I had the scallops for an appetizer. Do NOT pass these up. The flavor is amazing. Salmon for dinner and it was equally incredible. I sat at the bar for dinner and the bartender was super friendly and gave great recommendations! The restaurant is decorated so cute (esp the bar area) and the bathrooms are even better.

Yelp
Vidrio gets a 5-star review from me! This place is beautiful, the service is superb and the food is delicious. This restaurant is centrally located in Raleigh in a section of the city with a few restaurants, hotels and bars within walking distance. The menu has quite a few options, and you can get virtually any drink from the full bar. My wife and I went on a late Saturday afternoon for an early dinner, and ordered the Charred Octopus, Hanger Steak and Local Burrata. Everything was delicious, I mean EVERYTHING! The service was great, common areas and restrooms were clean, and the decoration is beautiful (refer to the photos for details). There are quite a few affordable parking spots right in front of the restaurant. Overall, 100% recommended and we are definitely coming back!

Yelp
Lex and Vivek are so welcoming they were very knowledgeable about the role and share great recommendations. The food they suggested was spot on for my taste buds and the drink Vivek made hit all the flavors he explained to me before even receiving my drink.

Devante J.

Yelp
Krysten was amazing she did a great job she asked me and my date what we needed and made us feel great. Great recommendation and very polite.

Yelp
Upon entering the staff here were welcoming and polite. I was seated up the stairs with a nice view of the restaurant decor. Coming on a Wednesday was a quiet and enjoyable evening. My waiter explained the menu offerings without asking. I enjoyed the Crispy Zucchini with lemon aioli, Moroccan Beef Skewers with harissa yogurt on the side, and the Cauliflower Cacio E Pepe parmesan- all was very good! For my cocktails, I had the Cast Away with Rum and the Paradisa made with Gin. Both were decent but the cocktails to me weren't Vidrrio's strong suit here for me. I would come back for the impeccable service and delicious food.

Yelp
I recently got to try Vidrio when I was out of town for work and it was an absolute treat. We rented out a private space and the ambiance was a mix of a tropical jungle and clean, modern warehouse - it was beautiful! The service was top notch and we never went without anything throughout the evening. The food itself started with a few charcuterie boards and appetizers and everything was delicious. My favorite part of the meal were our entrees which was a steak with chimichurri and salmon. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Looking forward to our next trip back

Yelp
I was invited by the GM to give Vidrio another try after a poor Mother's Day Brunch experience. Sayed was very open and honest (and disarming) about their lack of execution that day, and wanted an opportunity to make it right. He and his assistant, Lex, were incredibly gracious hosts. I came back for dinner with my family, and this experience was spectacular. We were personally greeted by Sayed and the Executive Chef, Samuel. Our server, Kristin was friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. The meal was one of the best I have ever had. The array of flavors, textures and presentation was an epicurean delight. Of particular note was the Chef's personal presentation of Gnocchi Bolognese, which he began to perfect during his time in Italy. This was a very different experience than the one we had on Mother's Day, and I am very happy that we give it a second chance. I will definitely be back.
google avatar

Lianna M.

Yelp
Vidrio is a perfect special occasion venue. From the moment you walk inside and see the expansive blown glass flower wall, it feels like a celebration. Our server was excellent and walked us through the menu, explaining that the small plates were the "chef's playground" and full of amazing flavors. Tasting each of the dishes felt like eating everyday foods - i.e. potatoes, carrots - for the first time. Dishes are served to the table as they are ready, and sharing is highly encouraged. They also have wines on tap, as well as a wine cellar. The open kitchen affords transparency, and the pacing of the meal was ideal.
google avatar

Yelp
Great experience From the moment you walk up to the establishment! The glass pane decor and the openness of the restaurant was amazing. The skewers, salmon and scallops were cooked perfectly. I can't remember having scallops that delicious in quite a while. The bartender makes great old fashions!

Yelp
Overpriced.... The food is overcooked, the flavors hit the mark. (Either too much oil or certain seasonings, or not enough.) Its a gorgeous restaurant but please teach the wait staff not to reach over guests plates, and if they must, to at least acknowledge it instead of reaching over a customer's hot plate to fill someone else's drink up without saying anything about it. If the food is that expensive, the quality of the service should match the price....
google avatar

Elizabeth B.

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place, but sadly it missed the mark for me. The hanger steak was really greasy. We tried a lot of apps - hummus, olives, bread, carrots. All were ok but nothing that will make me come back to this place. Atmosphere is wonderful though and I love the directions.
google avatar

Bobbie C.

Yelp
I love the ambiance of Vidrio and I used to frequent this restaurant often however I haven't been in a long time. I decided to come in for small plates and a light dinner. Service was good; it was later in the evening and they were not very busy. My drink was delicious. I ordered the cheese croquettes and scallops. Both hands lukewarm temperate which was not my favorite, since it was not busy; I really expected the food to be hot. The cheese croquette were nice and crispy and cheesy but lacked any other flavor to make them special. The scallops were not as flavorful for the price. At $33 dollars I expected much more. The plates were beautiful however the food just did not impress me.

Yelp
Today's Mother's Day brunch experience at Vidrio was nothing short of disappointing. For a steep price of $65 per person, including gratuity, one would expect a lavish spread and impeccable service, but unfortunately that was not the case! It's saddening that some families who do not often indulge in fancy dining experiences, or perhaps never have, were subjected to what can only be described as daylight robbery. The price tag felt exorbitant considering the majorly subpar quality of the food and service. From the moment we walked in, it was evident that there was a lack of attention to detail both in service and management. The menu, advertised as "Mediterranean Inspired," fell short of expectations, resembling more of a lackluster hotel breakfast buffet. Pre-made scrambled eggs, generic breakfast sausages and bacon, and granola and yogurt were reminiscent of complimentary offerings found in nearby hotels. Even the much-hyped Spanish tortilla turned out to be a mere shadow of its authentic counterpart, resembling a hastily assembled potato pie. It was clear that very little effort had been made. To add insult to injury, the food was not served warm, raising concerns about its freshness and proper handling. The absence of a toaster for the bread further highlighted the lack of consideration for guests' dining experience. Even the prime rib, which was a potential highlight, was served cold, further dampening the already low spirits of our experience. It's a shame that Vidrio's management and staff failed to deliver on what should have been a celebratory occasion as it was Mother's Day. One would expect a restaurant to go above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience on such occasions. Instead, their incompetence left a bitter taste in our mouths and overshadowed what should have been a joyous celebration. In hindsight, the choice to award even a single star for this experience feels overly generous.

Yelp
Vidrio is the best dining experience in Glenwood South. Vidrio has superior selections on the menu for food and drink (rotating seasonally, and it's always so fresh). Kristen made our anniversary dinner one to remember. She provided us with great pairings between wine and appetizers to the entrees. No question - we will be back again soon to try the new menu items!
google avatar

Angie S.

Yelp
Came to vidrio to test the dining experience here, as we are considering it for our rehearsal dinner. From the moment I walked in, I knew this is the place. The entire restaurant is so beautifully decorated with the most creative art and a big, glass wall. I could not stop looking around. We had the chicken, potatoes, and mushroom pasta. All were incredible and made our yes to vidrio even stronger. The service was wonderful and waitress was very attentive and accommodating. We will certainly be back.

Yelp
I came here to celebrate my birthday with a semi large party and I was glad I came here! The decor was very grand and unique, the service was amazing and the food was also a delight! We got the patatas bravas, beef skewers, and charred octopus to start and they were each so amazing! I was especially in love with the sauce on the patatas. Very flavorful and honestly quite filling. I then got the wagyu beef as my main dish and it was so good that I somehow made room to finish it all! The texture was darling and the black garlic was such a nice touch. Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Hannah S.

Yelp
I have been here twice and my experience has been perfect each time. The food is amazing and the drinks are great! The decor and ambience is absolutely beautiful! The staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable on the menu. The bartenders do not mind coming to the table and explaining drinks, if you have questions. This is definitely a menu where you order multiple things and share them. Many of the entrées do not come with sides, so just be aware when ordering. I recommend ordering the bread, the lamb chops, and the steak.
google avatar

Brittany C.

Yelp
The interior boasts of elegant artwork with cuisine to match. Our server aptly help the members of our party choose their main dishes, as well as a few fabulous small plates. Don't leave without ordering a cup of coffee and desert to polish off the night. Overall a stellar experience. Would recommend for a date night, work dinner, or celebration.
google avatar

Priyanka B.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious and fresh tapas. All of the food was amazing. I would highly recommend the hummus, although you can't go wrong with any of the menu options. Service and ambiance was impeccable. We were there until late and no one rushed us out. Will definitely be coming back for more!

Val D.

Yelp
When you read the reviews of this place, everyone says how tasty and wonderful the food is... they're not lying!! RUN do not jog to this restaurant, everything on the menu, was soooo delicious! Charred octopus, patatas bravas, oysters, and beef skewers to start, were all so tasty! Oysters were on the small side but the fixings they had on top were delicious. Drinks were so good, French quarter, and the mule were yummy. The mule tasted more of a pineapple cocktail/marg instead of a mule, didn't really taste the ginger beer... but was still tasty. The spicy marg they have is spicy but also tasty, it's lemony at first then spicy, but still so good. For entrees, the hanger steak, was delicious and juicy! The fresh fettuccine was SUPERB, and our waitress accidentally gave us 2, but we ate both between 4 ppl, and the lamb with the asparagus was very tasty. Food was 10/10, our waiter was nice, she seemed to be waiting the whole restaurant (not a busy night), but she misheard some of our orders but it ended up being fine! OH AND DO NOT SKIMP on dessert. The chocolate brûlée and pancotta (probably spelling it wrong) was probably our favorite part.

Taylor O.

Yelp
The food was amazing and the service was above and beyond. Loved everything we ordered. 100% would recommend coming here. The ambiance was beautiful.

Yelp
First time here and it is my wife's birthday. Love the ambiance and everyone was super friendly. Tyler was our waiter and he made the experience for us. My wife gets anxious when trying a new restaurant so we asked him to pick our dinner. Everything was great but you must try the stuffed peppers, salmon and chicken. Thanks, Tyler!

Yelp
My husband and I dined here last night and had the absolute best experience! From the great music and beautiful atmosphere, to the food and service, all 5 stars! We made a reservation a few weeks ago for 6pm and got seated instantly. I was so impressed at how friendly every single person was, the host staff and chefs, the servers. All of them! Our server Dan was kind and very attentive. We each started with a glass of red wine, as they had a lot of great options. We also ordered two appetizers, the charred octopus and Moroccan Beef skewers - yum! Both were amazing, I loved the flavor of the octopus, and the Moroccan skewers were perfectly seasoned and cooked. They were served with a side of harrisa yogurt sauce. For our entrees, my husband ordered the Patatas Rusticas and Hanger Steak, and I ordered the grilled Romaine and Fresh Fettucine. All of these items were phenomenal, flavorful and perfectly cooked. The steak was already cut up and delicious. The Fettucine was served with a poached egg and I loved that! We went to Italy a few months ago and this dish was almost comparable, I would definitely get it again! I highly recommend Vidrio for a fun date night. The atmosphere is amazing, and the food delicious.

Yelp
Visited for the first time last night and had a wonderful experience. The food is amazing, as are the drinks. The service was impeccable and the servers were incredibly kind and helpful. It's a beautiful restaurant, and I would highly recommend it for everyone.

Yelp
We had an outstanding experience here on a Wednesday night. There was a great music as well as a great food. My teammates and I had a large group and we thought our service still was great and the chef came out to say hello. Our dishes were salmon, the chicken, hummus and beef skewers. Pear Margarita was delicious.

Yelp
8/10 The ambiance of this place was just amazing! I've been wanting to eat here for the longest and I'm so happy that I finally got the chance. I enjoyed our waiter, (whose name I cannot remember ) he was very friendly, quick, and wasn't bothersome at all. We had the beef sticks for our appetizer which honestly wasn't my favorite, but if you like sweet meat, then this may be just right up your alley! The margarita was amazing, a little spicy, which I was surprised by but thoroughly enjoyed nonetheless. For my main I had the Alfredo which was great but maybe too many bread crumps on top. My boyfriend had the swordfish which was also great but the portion size was a bit small. Would definitely return again to try more items off this menu!
google avatar

Saloni V.

Yelp
The decor of this place was top notch. The food was very flavorful and the appetizers were decent size. The service was amazing! I would definitely recommend this place. We ordered pretty much everything from the appetizers! What we ordered and recommend: cheese croquette ( a must), green chickpeas hummus, grilled carrots, patatas braves. For drinks: Margaritas.

Yelp
Loved this place the food was great, good for a late night snack. The tacos were bomb so was the wine and beer

Yelp
This place is legit. Right in the heart of Raleigh - don't miss an opportunity for a great dining experience. Kiara (bartender) and Lex (manager) made my evening with sophisticated Southern Hospitality. Every dish was perfect. Leave room for dessert!

Yelp
Wow! So glad that I finally got a chance to check out Vidrio! This is an expansive bar restaurant with tons of tables and spots to sit and places to sit. My friend and I found a table and ordered a glass of Grutner and hummus. Both were delicious along with another glass of Grutner. The glasses had a nice amount of refreshes and hint of sweetness that really made my day! I cannot wait to return to this bar and make an afternoon relaxing and enjoying myself! This is a perfect relax spot!

Anne B.

Yelp
The menu has small plates and large plates; both are good for sharing. We have been twice and both times had the carrots for a small plate and they were the best carrots I have ever eaten. For large plates we had the hanger steak and the lamb--both were excellent. The drinks are well made and the prices are very reasonable. The service and ambiance are nice as well.

Yelp
First time here My dinner comprised of veggies off the apps side. Fried zucchini, tasty and fresh out of the fryer. Artichokes with Chorizo. Grilled romaine. All of these were flavorful and fresh, lots of acidity. Great ambiance and wait staff.

Yelp
Definitely a hidden gem and very tasteful little plates to share...the hanger steak didn't make it in here but it was probably one of the best "large plates" on the menu. About 5 ounces worth and grilled onion but momma was disappointed that they left a whole onion leaf with the bottoms and didn't cut it off. My favorite was the spicy sauce under the beef skewers it was a pleasant surprise that it had a kick only because they don't have any jalepenos or hot sauce at this restaurant. My moms favorite was the hummus because of all the toppings like onions and cranberries and crispy chickpeas with warm bread. My little sister loved the octopus because of the tangy sauce but didn't care for the beans. Overall definitely a unique Mediterranean restaurant with fantastic cocktails - pear Margarita

Yelp
On my recent visit to Raleigh my friend made us resis at Vidrio. First things first, the ambiance is great. The high ceilings, the decor, the open kitchen- I loved it all. The style of food is Mediterranean dining and they have a mix of small and large plates. We started with the burrata and vegetables as an appetizer which was so delicious. We opted for the fettuccini and short rib as our large plates. The short rib was a bit dry, but I do love that it was served with polenta. I always wish more restaurants added polenta to the menu because it's so good. I enjoyed the fresh Fettucini. Overall this seems like a solid spot for a night out.

Yelp
Loved this placed! Food was so good! The atmosphere was beautiful and the have great service. Would definitely come back! We ordered a mixture of small and large plates plus sides. Small plates: Octopus and beef skewers. Both were delicious, especially the beef skewers. Large plates: Salmon (FAVORITE! & not pictured), short rib with goat cheese polenta (second favorite), roasted chicken (very juicy!) And mushroom ragu (was good but nothing out of this world). Sides: Broccolini, Potatoes (our favorite), and carrots (good but wouldn't order again) Dessert: Wild Berry Tiramisu
