The 18 Best Restaurants in Louisville, Kentucky | Eater

"Price Range: $$ Derby City’s longest-standing Vietnamese restaurant is tucked into a south Louisville strip mall. Founded in 1993 by Vietnamese immigrant Alex Lam, the nondescript spot features a wide ranging menu with plenty of vegetarian options. Try the K8, or hu tieu sa-te, a spicy bowl featuring rice noodles in a broth infused with lemongrass, broccoli, bean sprouts, and peanuts. The owners are planning to retire soon, so get your favorites while you can. Know before you go: Most folks order using the menu numbers rather than the dish names." - Lennie Omalza

Google
Some vegan friends told me this is a low key spot to hit absolutely hit, finally got a chance to go. My daughter is a soup fanatic and she was so pleased, spring rolls, soup, tofu, mock duck. No disappointments at all. Very good with a home welcoming atmosphere. Watched what I’m assuming was the owner with a fellow veteran interaction and it was truly beautiful. I’ve got nothing but good feels and a full belly from this gem. Must go, must eat, must enjoy.

A Hidden Gem in Louisville – Absolutely Delicious! This was our first time at Vietnam Kitchen, and it exceeded every expectation! We were a group of 4 adults and 2 kids, and everyone left full, happy, and talking about coming back. The food was incredible — fresh, flavorful, and authentic. We started with the fresh spring rolls and dumplings, both of which were perfect starters. For mains, we shared a variety including the Pho Ga (chicken pho) which had the most comforting, aromatic broth, the spicy curry, and stir-fried chicken with green beans — every dish was perfectly seasoned and beautifully cooked. Even the kids devoured their meals, and the portions were generous. The service was warm, fast, and attentive without being overbearing. They were kind and accommodating to our kids, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Vietnam Kitchen is a true gem. It’s cozy, authentic, and every dish feels made with love. Highly recommend for families, foodies, or anyone who appreciates amazing Vietnamese cuisine. We’ll definitely be back!

Google
This place has been around for a long time, and this was my second time eating here. To be honest, I’m not sure why it’s only my second time. The pho is delicious, as I had that before, but this time I went for the Bún thịt nướng chả giò. It’s a soupless noodle dish with pork, egg roll, and vegetables. It was fantastic. The service was fast and friendly. This is a must if you live in the area.

Google
I have been going to the Vietnam kitchen for 20 years. The food is good and the service is spotty at best. I’m not sure what keeps me coming back. I get better Vietnamese food other places I guess it’s because it’s in my neighborhood.

Google
The phonwas good. No complaints. Tasted pretty normal. I would eat again. Didn't have the wow factor for me but it was on point as solid pho. Im just picky but otherwise this place is great for Louisville.

Google
I absolutely love this place the food is phenomenal. It is truly authentic and just the best place to come and enjoy great community. K11 you cannot go wrong.

Google
I do not understand here feedback, so hight The food was ok But service was no good One old woman service was no good. She was just dropping water and fork and napkins I asked onions, and they charged 1.75. Pho restaurant charged it onions wow... I never come back here

Google
My favorite restaurant and has been since it opened. The hot and sour soup is the best I've ever had and I've tried it all over the United States. You can't beat it. The owner is always present and knows his customers well.

Yelp
Delicious food! It is a small restaurant without great ambience, but you will not be disappointed with your meal! Staff is friendly and will make suggestions if asked. I go everytime I'm close by.

Yelp
Ouita Michel recommrnded the Vietnam Kitchen to me years ago. Hadn't been in ages so thought I'd go for lunch while in Louisville. Ordered Pork Pad Thai, and it was delicious. Lots oz pork. Highly recommend. 60

Yelp
This place is phenomenal. It was the first place I tried Vietnamese food and now I can't get enough. I ask the waitress what I should get and she helped me pick a meal. I can't remember the name of it but it had spicy beef and broccoli with white rice. I also got the fresh shrimp spring roll. Yummy. So if you haven't tried been scared to try Vietnamese food don't it is fabulous.

Yelp
Imo the best Vietnamese food in Louisville. The place as plenty of parking and the service was fast and attentive. Plenty of seating. Very much an Asian place so you no the food is good but the service is what you'd expect lol. Got the pho, the broth was so clean and flavorful, meat was thin and tender, noodles cooked well and the sides to add to your soup fresh. Very happy with my bowl of pho. Also got the fried spring roll which was crispy and delicious. Definitely recommend this place, food is good and would definitely be back.

Yelp
The food was really on point the other night! We stopped by for a later dinner (8 pm) and were surprised there wasn't a line out the door on a Friday night! We were seated immediately and started perusing the menu. It's been a while since we have been there but I think the menu might have been slightly condensed. While seated, I noticed several specials on the table under the glass. We decided to branch out and tried the jicama spring rolls and cucumber salad. The spring rolls were delicious, slightly crunchy from the jicama and with some Chinese pork and egg wrapped in rice paper. It's a must try! The cucumbers were also very good - slightly spicy and refreshing. For the main entree we both ordered the Vermicelli bowls with lemongrass pork and egg roll. The flavors were sweet and spicy and we devoured our meals. It's so sad that it's closing but would highly recommend you stop by!

Yelp
This is one of my most favorite places in Louisville and I've been coming here over and over again for years. It's a wonderful family-owned restaurants and the owner is also so sweet every time I visit. I love pretty much all of their dishes and you really can't go wrong. Specifically, I recommend the J4 with combo of mock duck and chicken. So so so good
google avatar

Yelp
I love pho. This place always has a great variety of pho dishes. The service is always awesome. The seating can be a bit cramped but that only because they have alot of regulars. Everything here is good.
google avatar

Yelp
What a little gem in Louisville. Read the reviews and they were all great and I 100% agree. Broth was extremely flavorful and service was fast and extremely thorough. The noodles were a tad overcooked but how good the broth was I don't think I cared that much. With how busy this place was it's clearly a staple of the community.

Yelp
I'm normally not a big fan of pho, but I had heard that Vietnam Kitchen is the best and most authentic pho and I need to have pho there before making a verdict. I'm glad I did, because I actually really enjoyed the pho at Vietnam Kitchen, and that alone gives it 5 stars in my book. I ordered dumplings and pho with beef and meatballs. The food was great. The dumplings were a great appetizer and tasted very delicious. The pho was really good. I normally don't like pho because it feels oily and fatty. However, the pho here tasted very clean and it allowed me to enjoy all the flavors in the noodle soup. This is the first place that I have enjoyed the pho and it has opened me up to give other places more chances. The environment was nice as well. It's got ample seating that initially looked crowded, but is actually not. The servers and staff were all very friendly and helpful. I felt very comfortable there and the environment just added to the enjoyable experience. I'd like to come back and try some of the other items in the menu, but if only for the good, clean pho that I really enjoyed, Vietnam Kitchen is a 5-star place in my books!

Yelp
We were visiting from out of state and hoping for authentic Vietnamese food but this is not it. We ordered pho ga, wonton noodle soup and bun bo hue. The meat in the bun bo hue is not fresh so it had a smell to it. The broth for the wonton noodle soup was not it. Didnt have a rich pork broth taste and the wontons were not flavorful. Service was good however. Just definitely very disappointing as the owners are viet. We felt like the dishes are definitely Americanized quite a bit. We also saw lots of flies above our head so definitely something to take note of.

Yelp
The food is amazing!!! Service was great, only 2-3 servers taking care of a full house but the food came out quick, drinks were refilled without issue, all employees were so nice and happily explained items on the menu. I have been to many pho places here and this is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Louisville! My only recommendation is to have fish sauce at the table with the other condiments.

Brian N.

Yelp
Simply the best. Eat here every evening when we are in town for work. Cant go wrong with anything on the menu.

Yelp
An old and established Vietnamese kitchen. The service is great, the ambiance is... well it's kinda different, LOL. But it's nice. The reason you come here is the food, and it's a home run! I've had dozen of different dishes and I've never been disappointed. Make sure to look on the table under the glass for daily or weekly offerings.

Yelp
Great food at a little hole in the wall. Service was fast and efficient. We had the spring rolls which were fresh with some fantastic pork. The Bun was also killer.

Yelp
The food & service are amazing there, been eating their Pho for years and still good! Avocado Shake is a must!!! Other foods are equally delicious!!! The environment is mellow.

Yelp
Busy place and staff looked rushed. The food was bland. I had the pad Thai and my coworker had pho. She broth was very bland as well. The ambience was not suited for what I like in a restaurant. The tables and chairs were old and the table was sticky. I would not return. No flavor in the dishes we ate. I was disappointed.

Yelp
Still one of my fave spots! We had pork dumplings (a must) and pork egg rolls. Both awesome. Then we had the K8 with beef and the E7 pineapple curry with chicken. Was absolutely DELICIOUS! We ate it so fast I didn't get a chance to snag a pic of it. DONT FORGET TO REQUEST YOUR SPICE LEVEL PEOPLE!! They are listed on the menu but you can ask them to reduce/amp up the spice. My preferred is a 2. Just spicy enough without destroying me! Haha. I've never stayed for dessert but we decided to try a pudding- pictured (not listed on the menu. This was a new one). It was like a sweet rice pudding with coconut milk and banana. 0/10 for looks 9/10 for taste! We also got the Q5 dessert which would be fantastic on the go on a hot day. I'll be back again to try more menu items soon!

Yelp
It was my first time eating here so I was a little anxious, especially since this restaurant is known to be quite popular. Walking in, it was very crowded. But, to my surprise, we were seated very quickly and had our waters within a couple of minutes. The staff was welcoming and fast, diligently working to make sure everyone got their orders in. They were very attentive and the food was served fast despite the amount of people. We ordered beef spring rolls, combination fried rice, and yellow curry. The yellow curry was the most delicious dish as it was more flavorful then the fried rice. The fried rice was still good, just a little bland. I would have liked a little more flavor. The beef spring rolls were a lot bigger than expected and very filling. The sauce that comes with it is very good albeit a little runny. I would suggest first letting the spring rolls soak in the sauce to get the most flavor out of it. Overall, I would recommend Vietnam Kitchen to anyone who is looking for good food at a reasonable price. They will definitely see us again! (This review is originally from March 15, 2022 and has since been edited).

Yelp
I'm not a picky eater and was told to order the Banh Canh Cua. And it was so flavorful and filling! It really hit the spot. I also got dumplings! I want to come back here and try more Vietnamese dishes!

Yelp
After spending the whole day exploring Louisville, Wifey and I were really hungry. Checked the trusty Yelp App, and came across Vietnam Kitchen with the impressive 4 1/2 star rating. Found the place easy enough, and got here early for dinner. To our surprise, the restaurant was already packed despite the fact we were here before 5pm. Fortunately, we waited less than 10 minutes because a couple had just finished their meal. This is the food we shared for dinner: Pork vermicelli with egg roll. There are a couple of places in my hometown that make some terrific pork vermicelli. So, I could not help but compare theirs to Vietnam Kitchen's version. I found Vietnam Kitchen's pork vermicelli to be good, but not nearly as yummy as I'm used to. Combination pho was my wife's choice. We both said it wasn't bad. Just not as good as we are accustomed to having at most Vietnamese restaurants. Dumplings were yummy. Would order these again. Avocado shake and Mango shake were alright. Overall, Vietnam Kitchen was alright. Service was attentive and pleasant. Ambiance was fine. Food was okay. Solid 3 star experience.

Yelp
As obvious as this probably seems to anyone familiar with the local food culture, Vietnam Kitchen offers the best Vietnamese food in Louisville. In fact, it's the best Vietnamese food I've had anywhere. If you're a native, you probably already know. But if somehow it's missed your radar...here's your heads-up. Head to Iroquois Manor. Drive to the back of the strip mall. Come early, on off hours, or come ready to wait. I got here at 4:30 today and it was packed. I ended up ordering a K8 and an E7 from the parking lot. The first time I went to Vietnam Kitchen was close to 20 years ago. It's what most would describe as a hole-in-the-wall restaurant. It's small. It's as eclectic with its decor. It's an intimate space with a diverse group of patrons. It's exactly what one thinks of when they hear "a hidden gem." This is a place to write home about. It's where you take your friend's when they come to visit. It's perfect for a celebration and the cure for all that ails you. The menu is extensive, but nearly everyone would tell you to start with K8. Without trying to describe the indescribable, I'll just say that I've never tasted a better broth. You'll crave it every time after you try it, but the rest of the menu is worth exploring. Maybe try an avocado milkshake? The pineapple curry is a delightful combination of sweet and spicy. It's perfect. Choose your entree, choose protein, choose your level of spice, most importantly...choose not to be left in the dark. ***edit to add- Pictured below is the K8 and that is saté noodle soup with broccoli, lemon grass, and your choice of protein. The second picture is E7 and it's pineapple curry. I opted to have chicken for my protein. -- at Vietnam Kitchen.

Yelp
Just visiting Louisville but this place got rave reviews and I can see why! The staff was very friendly. Food came out quick and it was hot & delicious! Big portions...if you leave here hungry it's your fault! By the time we left the place was packed!

Yelp
My favorite place to eat in Louisville. I have taken so many people here and all of them love it. I get the VJ4 every time. It's perfect.

Yelp
We visited after rush-hour as this was my third or fourth visit here and the lunch rush is real. Our waitress was very attentive, nice and helpful with the menu. We tried about six things on the menu. Everyone was tasty, and would def return.

Brenda L.

Yelp
We drive 2 hours away to come eat their bun mam noodle soup! It is so good!! So glad we found this mom & pop shop! Owner & his family are very welcoming and friendly. They are busy every time we've been here. Can't wait to come back this weekend!

Yelp
I arrived at 2 pm, just in time for the lunch menu, which is served from 11 am to 2:30 pm daily. Based on the glowing Yelp reviews, I had high expectations and was prepared to be impressed. To provide some context, I've eaten at numerous Vietnamese restaurants, and it remains one of my favorite cuisines for several reasons: 1) The vegetables are always fresh and carefully prepared--you'll never find anything overripe, mushy, or spoiled. 2) There's always something on the menu for everyone, with options ranging from mild to spicy and flavors from subtle to bold. 3) The owners are often present, not only focused on providing healthy, flavorful meals but also dedicated to serving their local community. After just a few visits, it's easy to feel like part of the family. The food here certainly lived up to my expectations. Everything tasted exceptionally fresh and clean, from the crisp tofu skin to the complimentary mung bean sprouts, basil, and lime. I had the VJ1 noodle soup, which was so delicious I could have savored it for days but ended up greedily finishing every drop. The VK10 tofu pad Thai was also enjoyable, though it was milder than the Thai version, lacking the extra egg, cilantro, and peanuts. The mango salad was a flavorful twist on the green papaya salad, though it wasn't as spicy and, unlike its Thai counterpart, didn't include peanuts. Unfortunately, the reason for my low rating has nothing to do with the food but with the staff, who ranged from rude and dismissive to, quite frankly, deceptive. I arrived at 2 pm, well before the lunch menu cutoff at 2:30. No one greeted me when I walked in, but after a couple of minutes, an older woman cleaning tables glanced over, grunted, and pointed toward a seat in the back. When I asked her which seat had access to an outlet so I could charge my phone, she rolled her eyes, shrugged, and walked away without answering. She spoke English, and I overheard her loudly joking with other staff members in clear English. When I asked her specifically about the lunch specials, she gave me a menu that I later found out was not the lunch special menu. I pressed further, asking her to show me the lunch specials on the menu she handed me, and instead of providing the actual lunch menu, she pointed me to the "specials" section, which was actually from the dinner menu--at significantly higher prices, nearly double. I ordered two entrees, thinking I'd take one home for dinner. Nearly 30 minutes later, a younger woman, probably in her 20s, brought my food. I asked if the banana pudding was part of the lunch special, and she informed me that I hadn't ordered from the lunch special menu. She then produced the actual lunch special menu, which was completely different from what I had received. When I inquired whether the pad Thai or the soup I had ordered was on the lunch special, she said no, claiming the lunch crew had already left the kitchen. I checked my phone, and it was 2:31 pm--just one minute past the lunch special cutoff. I pointed this out, reminding them that I had been seated over 30 minutes earlier. Despite this, they refused to adjust the entree prices and charged me full price for the dessert, leaving me with a $40 bill instead of the $24 I had expected. Had I received the lunch special, I would have paid $24 for both entrees, which would have also included an additional appetizer and a dessert. The whole situation felt like a clear bait-and-switch tactic. Given how the situation was handled, I am very disappointed. The older woman who initially served me knew exactly what she was doing, and there's simply no excuse for not adjusting the bill. While the food was excellent, the service was unacceptable, and I will not likely be returning.

Yelp
Finally writing a review after many visits! Service is outstanding and always willing to talk through the menu and provide recommendations! Just recently had the yellow curry chicken and it had so much flavor! I think it is my to go to dish. I need to try the K8 at some point as I've heard great things about that dish!
google avatar

Yelp
The BEST Vietnamese Food in the City! Let me just start by saying the service was amazing and very fast! The Pho is amazing! When I first walked in, I was seated and the ambiance blew me away. I chose the B1 which was the Beef Pho, I got extra onions and bean sprouts! It felt like I had just walked inside a true authentic Vietnam restaurant, and that's exactly what I was looking for and wanting! I definitely will be back!

Yelp
I don't know why it took me so long to eat here! I should have been coming here since the first time I heard about it. Ample parking since it's located in a strip mall, plenty of seating, clean & well stocked tables. We were seated as soon as we walked in, was provided menus & they got our drinks order as well, my parents got a Diet coke (can only) but provided a glass with ice and a sweet tea. I got the green tea hot, was in a metal pot that they left on the table and provided a mug. The menu has description of each items, some pictures are on there & each dish is numbered for easy ordering to avoid the awkward mispronunciation of the items. They can provide you a picture menu with the corresponding number to match the dishes if you ask. I got the J7. Vermicelli noodle salad with chicken, along with a tofu spring roll as an appetizer. Parents got the B1. Pho with beef asked for extra spicy & F3. White rice & chicken spicy. The spring came out with 2 rolls with a side of the sauce. The rolls were great but adding the sauce just elevated refreshing crisp roll. Our food came out shortly and they won't play around with portions. They provide a sauce with my noodle salad which was a nice sweet mix to fresh veggies chopped up egg roll and seasoned chicken. There was lettuce, sprouts, cucumbers, carrots, rice noodles, onion or radish. So delicious, I ate it all there. My parents both liked there dish only had a small portion for leftovers over. A friend was raving about the avocado smoothie so we got 2 to go with boba and OMG so creamy & fresh the boba gave it some sweetness. Had the best time and delicious meal. We will be back more often!

Yelp
BEST FOOD EVER!!!! We've lived in several countries and have tried a lot of dishes. We STILL miss this place. Sincerely THE best. K11 and avocado milkshake! Can't wait to get it when we visit Kentucky again.

Anastasia A.

Yelp
Best Pho in the city! Layers of flavor, ample noodles and just so comforting. I also love the dumplings, sizzling rice soup...these are my regular choices but I also sometimes order the J5. My boyfriend gets the pineapple chicken curry and requests it super spicy hot, and craves it weekly! I guess you could say we are regulars. The Vietnamese coffee over ice is a real treat. A must try, and a cool process to watch as it drip, drips. They do serve alcohol here and I recommend the giant Sapporo beer. This is a simple place, not fancy at all but priced right with delicious food. Really delicious food. Once you go, you're hooked! It's easy to see why this is one of the more popular restaurants in town.
google avatar

Andrea E.

Yelp
It has been such a long time since I've been to VK. It's so great to have a place that has vegan options. The entrees are delicious but are very oily so if you aren't used to that, be wary. Our veggie dumplings and spring rolls were truly delicious.
google avatar

Renee T.

Yelp
This is my favorite Vietnamese spot in Louisville. I usually try to call and order but the last time no one picked up the phone so I drove there and ordered inside. They were really busy! I've gotten numerous dishes from here, all delicious. The ingredients they use seem fresh and authentic. My favorite here are the dumplings and chicken and string beans, curry dishes.

Amelia G.

Yelp
What can I even say about this place other than it's perfect. As a person whose favorite foods always fall under the Asian umbrella, Vietnamese food is at the top of the list. There is nothing like a cold day (or hot I'll eat it when it's 100 out) and a big bowl of pho. Love the turnip cake like no other so soft and warm and fluffy. Also love their beef stew I think in Vietnamese it's called bo kho, very delicious big chunks of soft beef and fat carrot chunks that just soak up all of the flavor. The people are always kind and have very fast service. Always a good vibe walking in and so happy they are here to stay in Louisville because they are an institution!

Yelp
This is the classic example of the strip mall gem. The surroundings really aren't that impressive, and this place, despite all the review sites glowing over it, is hard to even find as its sign is kind of hidden by the surrounding facade. However, once I walked in, the buzzing, efficient operation made a case for itself. A woman wearing an LSU mask (Louisiana is for whatever reason home to a large Vietnamese immigrant community) was chopping green beans out front. The menu housed a variety beyond what a lot of Vietnamese places, and I ended up trying some sort of spicy soup noodles with tofu. The noodles themselves tasted fresh, and were punctuated by some sort of herb I didn't recognized but which added an effectively astringent note. The fried tofu was delicious. Some avocado spring rolls filled me up. They had a solid vegetarian section, and I left with the impression that this place was the real deal. I doubt there's a better place to find this sort of cuisine anywhere nearby.

Yelp
Saw the reviews and had to try this place! It definitely didn't disappoint! Walked in to amazing smells and a cozy interior, the place definitely had family owned vibes with hand written specials in all the tables. It was surprisingly busy for a Monday lunch but not packed which made for the perfect ambience. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we were trying to decide what to order. I wanted to deviate from my usual combination pho and the young woman helping me recommended that if I like spicy to try Bun Bo Hue which I decided to pair with their pickled limeade, and my boyfriend got the chicken Pad Thai. The Bun Bo Hue wasn't very spicy in my opinion, which is perfectly acceptable because they had homemade chili paste and sirracha at the table along with jalapeños to put in the soup to my liking. The soup came with what looked like some pork blood cakes (but I'm unsure I've only every had pork blood in sausage or raw as a soup), sliced beef, a pork tendon, and some sort of pork or meat cake which tasted very similar to a meatball. On the side they had limes, bean sprouts, jalapeños, and basil. The broth had so much flavor, the noodles were sooo perfectly cooked chewy and delicious, and the meat selection had a lot of variety in flavor and texture it was all delicious. The Bun Bo Hue's spicy and savory flavors paired perfectly with the sweet, salty, and sour notes in my pickled limeade. At first the limeade is kind of a strange new flavor as I had never had one with pickle brine before but it added such a great flavor contrast to my meal that I will definitely get it again. The pad Thai my boyfriend got was soo tasty too some of the best I've had since moving to Kentucky. The noodles were perfectly chewy and there was a beautifully savory sauce on the side you pour over it! My only downside was that I was too full to try the dessert, the black eyed pea pudding sounded amazing I'll have to get one to go next time!

Yelp
We were on the hunt for a veggie-filled carryout meal and voila, Vietnam Kitchen popped up in our search. They especially popped up for being vegan-friendly which is especially important for me with a seafood/shellfish allergy and Vietnamese cuisine. We ordered the vegan tofu spring rolls along with the wonton soup (which was very refreshing!). This place was popping on a Friday night. The wonton soup is so flavorful and not greasy like you'll frequently find with some wonton soups. This soup was perfect for a dreary day (or if you're sick). The spring rolls were a little less impressive. They used iceburg lettuce and the rolls didn't include any herbs like Thai basil to give it a flavor pop. The ended up being pretty flavorless and watery. The staff was quick and friendly and I could see this being a spot I would frequent if we lived in the Louisville area.

Yelp
Delicious food. Pho was excellent. Good meat quality. However, the amount of meat is not enough. You might want to request extra meat. Friendly staff. Semi-clean restroom.

Yelp
Probably the best pad Thai I've ever had. A truly special hole-in-the-wall restaurant. A must try for any fan of Asian cuisine. I will definitely make the drive across town and go back

Yelp
Top notch Vietnamese food. Service is always fast and friendly. Tastes very authentic. Serving sizes are huge! Always get the dumplings.

Yelp
Vietnam Kitchen is a gem. It may not be hidden anymore, but this unassuming spot for Vietnamese staples is a must-stop in Louisville, Kentucky. Overall I am giving 5 stars because the food has been outstanding for many, many years. This review pertains to my most recent visit, in December 2020 for a family dinner, dine-in style. Drinks & apps: Two of my party of four had the lime-aid, which I sampled. It was really refreshing. We had some shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce (a longstanding favorite) and fried egg rolls with pork (which were just decent). Mains: I had the spare ribs simmered in a clay pot with black pepper, served with steamed rice and vegetables (N5) and it really hit the spot, with a flavorful sauce and a boiled egg on top. I liked dipping the veggies in the brown sauce. Others in my party had the B3 (Pho; rice noodles soup with sliced beef, tendon, and meatball), the N6 (spicy and sour shrimp soup), and the VM5 (stir-fried mock duck with green beans; tofu substituted for the mock duck). Everyone devoured their meals and had only positive comments about the dishes being flavorful and well-prepared. Tips: They aren't open every day, so it's worth confirming your plans before heading in. It's in a shopping center with plenty of parking. Overall this is a great spot for lunch or dinner - with family, friends, a date, or to-go!

Yelp
Some of the yummiest Vietnamese food I have ever had! Can we talk about the fantastic appetizers? The pork shrimp dumplings were delicious. The spring rolls were good. But the best had to be the Vietnamese crepe! You can't always find it on the menu at other places. We also enjoyed the service. They were attentive and kind. We also noticed a number of customers coming and the staff knowing them by their names. Clearly a local place that people love. Definitely check out Vietnam Kitchen!

Yelp
Vietnam Kitchen is always delicious and consistent. My neighbor introduced us to this spot about six months ago and we've now made it a regular. The area of town is a little dicey and the building appears to look a little unkempt from the exterior, but it's truly a town treasure. It's honestly vintage which gives it charm but if you prefer a upscale restaurant appearance, try something else. The food is authentic Vietnamese and so darn good! I'm a creature of habit and once I find something I like, I tend to stick with it but tonight I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried some of their beef ramen soup, also known as K8 on the menu. Phenomenal!
