My Mexico City with Máximo’s Chef Lalo García

"It's a sliver of a space in Roma Norte—dark and moody with just a sprinkling of tables plus a communal table—but Vigneron makes a big impression with a concise menu and a mostly European wine list that is surprisingly extensive, earning it a Bib Gourmand." - David Shortell

All the 2025 Mexico MICHELIN Bib Gourmands

"It's just a sliver of a space in Roma Norte, but Vigneron makes a big impression. It's dark and moody with just a sprinkling of tables (plus a communal table). Chef Aram Abisahi's dishes are best shared for a deeper exploration of his contemporary, French-punctuated cuisine. Roasted matchstick carrots plated with creamy stracciatella may seem simple at first glance but showcase a clever use of flavor and texture. Crispy polenta topped with stone crab salad made with miso mayo is another winning dish before tucking in to a pasta course or hearty roasted chicken. To finish, the walnut cake layered with semi-dark chocolate ganache is the perfect choice. While the menu is concise, the mostly European wine list is surprisingly extensive." - The MICHELIN Guide US Editorial Team

The 38 Best Restaurants in Mexico City | Eater

"After a short closure to revamp the space and menu, wine bar Vigneron made a comeback this summer under chef Aram Abisahi, who stewards the kitchen, and sommelier Mario Luna, who showcases small wine producers from the Old World. For wine lovers looking to explore hidden gems from Burgundy, Catalonia, and Champagne, Vigneron delivers great value by the glass; for everyone else, the beverages pair well with a food menu heavy on French technique and seasonal ingredients. Abisahi highlights his northerner culture in dishes like wagyu brisket with flour tortillas and pico de gallo, but he also shows range with items like fish rillette with pickled vegetables, or the catch of the day with beurre blanc, chicatana (ants), and beets. Know before you go: Vigneron offers a seven-course tasting menu with optional pairings for indoor seating. Sit outside to order the regular a la carte menu." - Natalia de la Rosa

Google
Wine bar featuring seasonal menu and (primarily) European wine selection. I typically come here to buy wines by the bottle. They are definitely on the pricey side, but the options update regularly so it is good for sampling new wine. The staff is knowledgeable at recommending wines based on your preferences. Food options are decent and apparently they have tasting menus (that can be made gluten free if noted in advance). Would be curious to try it sometime. I tried their a la carte menu. The pasta and the dessert were pretty good. Both indoor and outdoor seating available.

Google
Well appointed wine bar with impressive wine list. The emphasis was/is on French wines, but I could be wrong. I just know every page I turned to seemed to have wines from France. The spot is well designed, but small. Take advantage of the outdoor seating. Probably around 12-15 spots depending how tight you squeeze at the large table. If you don’t like people, like me, then there are three small tables that are better for privacy and no eye contact. Unfortunately, I didn’t take any pics of the bottles but both were delicious whites and from Burgundy. 1500 & 2000 pesos. Perfect for the warm evening. The second one is always more expensive. Overall, it is expensive but there are affordable options. 1000 pesos is the starting point with most over 2000. And, really expensive options. Copas run, 180-350. They have a simple food menu. I had sardines, pickled radish, cauliflower with pan and pan con eggplant purée. Not too filling but went well with wine. Big thumbs up! Only a few pics. That’s all for now

Google
Honestly this is one of the best restaurants in cdmx. The food is incredible. Every single thing we got was on point. I didn’t expect it to be as amazing as it was. The wine is not terribly priced which hard to find in this city.

Google
Without a doubt this is one of the best wine bars in whole Mexico!! Not only because it's wine selection, but because it's food, location, coziness and service. It always invites us to come back. Oh and if this would be not enough... They also show up at the Michelin guide #JustSaying

Google
5 stars and Michelin worthy! It’s hard to believe this incredible wine and food is easily half the price of a chain restaurant in the USA. Run don’t walk! Have the flatbread!

Dropped in for a drink and some snacks on the patio and it was a wonderful surprise… great selection of wines, relaxing atmosphere, and delicious food (both the green hummus and roasted eggplants were so good)! Highly recommend, service was great. Can’t wait to come back again.

Google
We came here expecting a cozy wine bar but found the food to be very flavorful! Good spot if you want a break from Mexican food - the hummus, leeks, and short rib/risotto were all awesome!
