Update: Samples back! Update: The best carnitas tacos anywhere!!! Update: No more samples :*( but I didn't care bc I couldn't finish their giant torta anyway. BOOM!!! #FOODCOMA Hands down the best carnitas tacos in LA!!! The crew gives you a sample. My perfect combo is eating the sample taco and buy 2 tacos and eat a pupusa on the other side of the market!!!! Bam!!!! Lunch done!!! I can't get enough of this place!!! Every time a family member visits, this is one of 3 spots I take them!

Looking for traditional Mexican street tacos? Then look no further than Villa Michoacán. These no frills tacos are delicious. They hit the spot for those looking to recharge for the evening night out. Beverages (alcoholic and non) are also available for purchase. There are few seating areas but again if your only getting tacos, standing around eating with friends enjoying the energetic vibe of Grand Central Market is just as good. Friendly service. Price is surprisingly slightly less than what you would expect for this area. I recommend to try.

I don't normally leave reviews, but I found a piece of metal in my carnitas taco, and people need to know this. This place is delicious, and I normally eat from here when I'm in the area, but this is the first time it had metal in it (I hope)

We love the tacos in this taco stand in Los Angeles Grand Centra Market. The tacos are very flavorful and the carnitas are very juicy. There are sidewalk seatings right next to the Tacos stand on Broadway, you can enjoy watching people and cars drive by. Unlike the seatings inside, it is very crowded and uncomfortable. They usually give you a free sample taco if you walk up to the counter.

Best carnitas I've ever had. We are from Wisconsin and have traveled quite a bit, super impressed with the carnitas. Tortillas sucked though!!

The carnitas was dry and has lots of fat. For the price of the food, this Mexican food isn't good. I was eating a burrito and found a piece of metal inside it! Beware of what you get to eat here. They are sloppy! 😒

The food was ok but the service could be better. While in line we saw how people were offered samples but my husband and I were not offered any sample. It was my husband's first time so I asked for a sample since they didn't offer us one. They lady said "sure, but what are you ordering?" We proceeded to order and we never got our sample. I felt some sort of descrimination since samples were offered to Asians and White ppl but not to us. They also charged me $1 to use a credit card which from what I know is not legal in California. They asked for a tip but I declined. I know for a fact that you can find bigger and better carnitas tacos in other food locations inside Central Market for the same price.
