"Vitolo is a classic Italian restaurant with a sister restaurant in New York called Emilio’s Ballato that's wildly popular and serves a similar menu to the Florida location. But eating baked clams in a Nolita dining room that’s been in business since Eisenhower's presidency is special. Eating baked clams in a shiny, touristy hotel on A1A in Fort Lauderdale—no matter how good the baked clams are—doesn't quite scratch the same itch. Despite quick, friendly, and efficient service in Vitolo's cavernous room, we find ourselves craving low ceilings, candlelight, and someone related to the chef embarking on a passionate tirade about the family's vodka sauce recipe. Still, Vitolo in Fort Lauderdale makes satisfying Italian American dishes. Everything is big and saucy, and al dente pasta comes to the table hot and steaming. We especially like the Vitello Antonio, an off-menu special at their sister restaurant. It's always on the menu here, and should definitely be on the table if you’re with a few friends who want a thrilling slab of veal. Vitolo might not have the magic intangibles of a classic, but it works just fine for big groups who want impressive, well-made dishes that guarantee leftovers. Food Rundown photo credit: The Louis Collection Vongole Oreganata Resist the urge to inhale the free bread when it arrives. Instead, save your bread to sop up the lemon sauce served with these solid baked clams. It's the best part of the dish. photo credit: The Louis Collection Caesar This salad comes with a slightly unnecessary tableside presentation, in which a server slices whole romaine lettuce leaves into manageable pieces. And while that could have easily been done in the kitchen, you’ll still enjoy this standard caesar. photo credit: The Louis Collection Vitello Antonio The $90 price tag on this beast is a bit easier to swallow when you realize it easily feeds three or four people. The veal can’t be any thicker than a centimeter and hangs off its large plate, covered in a volcanic eruption of vodka sauce, fried prosciutto, and mozzarella. This is special occasion veal. photo credit: The Louis Collection Spicy Paccheri Alla Vodka It won’t upstage the veal, but these paccheri are nicely al dente, and large enough to be used as a sleeping bag for squirrels. Just don’t expect too much heat from the “spicy” vodka sauce." - Ryan Pfeffer

"The likes of T. Swift, the Biebs, and even Barack Obama love Emilio’s Ballato in NYC. The executive chef and partner of that spot, Anthony Vitolo, has opened this Italian gem at Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach to much fanfare. Order the Vitello Antonio, a center-cut veal chop that easily feeds two, topped with a hearty vodka sauce, crispy prosciutto, and sweet peas. Life will never be the same." - Jesse Scott

"This gem from chef Anthony Vitolo is primo for New York-style Italian on the beach. The spaces – including a supper club-esque room, open kitchen-adjacent tables, and outdoor terraza – are as dynamic as the menu. Its homemade pasta is hard not to order, but don’t skip on its Carnes selection, including a New Zealand rack of lamb doused in Rosmarino sauce." - Jesse Scott

"Since opening in late ’23, this has been the spot on Fort Lauderdale Beach for Italian fare in a supper club setting that’s as beautiful as it is tasty. One thing you need to know here: It's Vitello Antonio center cut veal chop for two, which is a must-order — and will give you leftovers for days." - Jesse Scott

I was looking for a Good Italian restaurant and Vitolo had great ratings! I promise you won’t be disappointed. I love the ambience of this restaurant. Phenomenal attention by our server, Tucker. Great recommendations when asked a question. This was by far our favorite Dinner out on our trip to Fort Lauderdale. Our food was so delicious! This place deserves a 5 star rating in everything detail.

Google
One of the best restaurants we have ever experienced. From the beginning to the end, we were treated to excellence in presentation and execution. Our delightful server Jessica told the story of the founders’ legacy regarding other running other top rated restaurants, their receipts, Ingredients, etc. We devoured the mozzarella, Caesar & misto salads, steak, raviolis, gnocchi, chicken parmigiana, bolognese with amazement. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the dishes. They were all fabulous ! The wine list is extensive AND the house wines are exceptional. Clearly the sommelier has done their due diligence. From start to finish Vitolo is Italian fine dining with excitement and flair. Thank you for a memorable evening ! ❤️

Vitolo was so good, we had chicken parmesean, it was huge, my husband had prime with Polenta, my son had pizza, and an appetizer was clams. The food was excellent, We sat near the kitchen and even though it was loud everyone was so nice and made sure we were happy and the service was very good, really important have no complaints about this restaurant. I will definitely come back.

Google
First off I want to thank Dean for such an amazing experience last night. We had a wonderful evening and he is such a great server. Second the food is great and came out in a timely fashion. Not one complaint about the place. All good things.

Google
What a wonderful experience. The restaurant is beautiful, the service is first class from the waitress and the restaurant manager coming to check on us. The food was delicious, we had a big group and everything came pretty fast. We made a reservation but it was not busy, because we got there early. But it gets really busy later on. So I suggested you make your reservation. I totally recommend this restaurant.

Google
Good food, good drinks and okay service. The lobster ravioli is a MUST try, one of the best I’ve had. Baked clams were not the best. Really cute spot tho, and easily accessible on the Fort Lauderdale strip.

Google
I was there to celebrate my girls birthday and I have to say everything was amazing! They had the best lobster ravioli, octopus and pizza! Oh and very strong dirty martini with blue cheese olives 🫒 (I’m a lightweight)

We were a party of 4 and did not have reservations on a Friday night, which is a popular night. The hostess was super nice and was able to accommodate us. We were able to get a table outside and our food was absolutely amazing. The cocktails were tasty and the presentation was great. Had a great experience and I highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Have been meaning to try Vitolo for the past few months, and I was reminded of this when I saw Chef Anthony Vitolo on the TODAY show the other morning. Darn that food looked good so I made a reservation and off we went! Located inside the Conrad Hilton down at the beach, Vitolo is a beautiful restaurant! The main dining room is under these wooden arches which reminded me of restaurants in Europe. We were seated in a more intimate setting which they called "The Library"- lower lighting, quieter, the perfect place for a perfect evening out. Jada, our server, was knowledgeable and had plenty of suggestions for both drinks and food. There was also another server who was working the room, but not our table, who was also helpful, telling us about a truffle special they had and re welcoming us to the restaurant. I wish I had gotten his name as I also saw him a couple of days later at the bar and he said hi, like he remembered me but that seems impossible given how many people these servers see each day. Anyway- it was nice. My dirty martini was perfectly poured in an ice cold glass as was my friend's old fashioned. He loved the one giant ice cube and said it was great! The wine selection is also quite good with excelent options by the glass as well, We always like to try a range of the menu for any new place we go and Vitolo was no exception. We started with the calamari appetizer as well as the baked clams. I LOVED the clams- they were like little decadent bites of oyster and buttery crumbled topping. Delicious! The octopus was good- but not my favorite but only for a personal preference as the mustard dressing was a little strong for me. But when cut up and mixed with the arugula and endive, it was very tasty. For our entrees, I had the lamb chops and my friend had the pork chop. I knew when the nearby server said it was his fav item on the menu that the pork chop was going to be the winner of the night and it was. So flavorful and juicy it was served with peppers and crispy potatoes and was just amazing! My lamb chops, were very good and perfectly cooked to med rare but they still were overshadowed by the pork. I know what I'll be getting the next time I go! We also had the pasta special which was penne with almost a vodka sauce on it (marinara and cream) with sausage and peas. We used this as a side dish but I was thrilled when there was enough left over to take home for another day. If you drive- get your valet ticket validated as parking is only $15 then. Also- ladies- bring a sweater if you get cold. It was cold in the restaurant and I was glad I had a sweater. Or if you want to warm up more- the outdoor bar is also a great place for a night cap. Ivan, the bartender makes a tasty espresso martini! All in all a delightful night out in Fort Lauderdale. And while there are plenty of good Italian restaurants in our town, this one set itself apart with it's great food, attentive service and beautiful atmosphere.

Yelp
Had an early reservation. Looking forward to this as we heard that a New York chef was at the helm with his flare on Italian cuisine. We were sat in the open kitchen area which was amazing to watch all the cooks on their phones. We were handed menus as we were greeted with our server. We asked what were his favorites, he responded by walking us through the menu and pointed out everything. We opted to begin with the octopus salad. A large amount of Arugula with one tentacle laying on top. A small drizzle of dressing and only 1.5 halves of cherry tomatoes. Next up was the baked clams. 8 peices in a light sauce. We ordered the pork chop to share, perfectly seasoned and grilled. The roasted potatoes were crunchy but had no seasoning. We asked about dessert, our server explained the selections. Nothing stood out as special, just average. I asked if the Tirimisu was made with Lady fingers or sponge cake. He told sponge cake. I would of love to see Eggplant Parm or lasagna on the menu. Overall- overpriced average food. We won't be back.

Yelp
I had looked forward to dining at Vitolo. However, I ended up unimpressed. The first thing that got to me was no valet. Then at the main southeast corner are stairs with no handicapped ramp. The handicapped ramp is located way east about mid-center of the Conrad. If you're on a walker, it's tough. They have a delightful outside patio bar. The bartenders are professional, polite, and pour a good drink. Dining may either be had in the kitchen area or in the dining room. The kitchen was too loud for me, so I went to the main dining room. The dining room has a luxurious décor entirely eye-pleasing. The menu is rather sparse and explained to me as family style where the dishes are small but you order several of them and share at your table. They kind of make it sound like an Italian tapas. Partner and I started by sharing their Ceasar salad which we could not get with anchovies as they had already made them a part of their house Ceasar dressing. I then went for their Lobster Ravioli which was lobster-filled ravioli served over lobster cream sauce & shrimp. Though it was good, the flavors weren't very distinctive. The portion didn't seem enough for their family style concept but was just right for me. My partner had a fish dish which was fine for him but hardly seemed like a shareable in size. For dessert, I went for the tiramisu which was of good portion and totally delicious.

Yelp
I love the Conrad so it comes as no surprise that I LOVE VITOLO! We had a lovely dinner, everything was great from start to finish. The space is sexy yet comfortable. The service A++ Ruben was very friendly and made some great recommendations. The food and drinks are fantastic, started with La Bella Vita which is a gin based cocktail, refreshing and dangerously smooth lol. Arugula salad, generous portion with a citrusy dressing. The calamari fried perfectly with a flavorful dipping sauce. The Gnocchi...wow...pillows of deliciousness. Best gnocchi I have ever had! The tiramisu, cloudlike and a nice end to a great meal! Cant wait to visit again!

Yelp
What a fabulous, sexy, refined restaurant. It is not pretentious, just honest-to-goodness great. I've eaten at their sister restaurant, Emilio's Ballato, in NYC plenty of times and enjoyed my meals there, but somehow, Vitolo just does it for me. I love it! Located in the Conrad Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, we entered through the wrong door near the kitchen, but once we found our way, we were wowed by a beautiful space of nooks and crannies for their dining spaces. We loved our table in a little library. The crowd was well-dressed and youthful. Every person who waited on us was on their game. Standout dishes were the garlicky, toasted baked clams, classic Caesar salad, Spedieni (Italian grilled cheese, essentially), spaghetti with huge, crunchy shrimp, and their insanely crispy chicken parmesan. Yes, these dishes don't sound inventive, but who cares? They were spot-on fantastic. Their red sauce pops with bright tomato flavors, and you just know the chefs spent time perfecting it so it is just right. And it is. We finished with a piping hot, made-to-order chocolate-filled donut and homemade silky gelato. The espresso was full-bodied, not the watery, overpriced stuff you get these days. We can't wait to return with all the people we've been gushing to about how great the food and experience is here. Sensational.

Yelp
Fantastic italian restaurant in the heart of Fort lauderdale. Came with a group of 12 and had the pre-set menu, which was delicious and had plenty of food. Some of our favorites were the meatballs, marg pizza, chicken parm, and bolognese. The desserts were also delicious, and they had a great wine menu. Service was terrific, and everyone was super knowledgeable of the menu and helpful.

Yelp
From the moment you step inside, it's clear that this restaurant is one of Fort Lauderdale's best-kept secrets for authentic Italian food. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a memorable meal. The food exceeded expectations, with standout dishes like the Caesar salad and chicken parmesan - both must-tries. The entire menu impressed, but what truly elevated the experience was the impeccable service. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, and the meals were served promptly. Small touches, like cutting our salads and chicken parm tableside, added an extra layer of care that made the dining experience feel even more special. If you're looking for a combination of great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere, this place is a must-visit!

Yelp
Every dish that hit the table was delicious. Our server greeted us right away, we were given water and wines to taste. The ambiance was romantic, I loved everything about this place. We received our food in a timely manner and I was quite pleased to see how busy it was on a Tuesday night. They accommodate gluten allergies! We will be back again.

Yelp
We had a reservation, and we were seated immediately. Our waiter took our drink order and let us explore the menu. This was our first time here. I wanted to give a 5 star review, but our service could've been better. I had to ask several questions about the menu. One, for example, he asked at the end of our meal if we'd like dessert and waited for us to respond. I had to ask him what was on the dessert menu. I think he should have told us instead. We had to ask for our water glasses to be filled. We did notice the menu had higher prices than what's listed on the website menu. Aside from that, we were happy with the food. We had the charcuterie board for an appetizer. It was large and served 2 but easily 3. I forgot to take pics of our entrees. However, they were delicious and filling. I got the bolognase, and my husband ordered the linguine with clams. For dessert, we got the tiramisu and a canoli.

Yelp
Been wanting to check this place out for a while. Glad the wife & I came! Had a reservation for 7pm on a Friday, got sat within a minute. Place was super busy too. The waitress came over and grabbed us some drinks. After she returned them, she gave us a few more minutes to look over an impressive looking selection. When she returned she mentioned they do everything family style, and bring dishes as they are ready. She also told us to put in all the orders, so apps and entrees. Felt a bit rushed to do it this way, but not a big deal. After we placed our order, the chief Peter came over to greet us and we told him what we ordered. For apps, we got the Polpette, always have to judge an Italian place by the meatball. It was excellent! Probably my favorite for our area. Flavor and sauce were excellent. We also had the vongele orgenata, which is baked clams. They were smaller than what I expected, but nonetheless were tasty! Entrees, I couldn't resist the chicken Parm with a side of broccoli rabe. My wife got the cacio Pepe truffle style. Both of us loved our selections. We tried each others and both agreed. What I like, was the sauce and pasta weren't salty and didn't get any heartburn from the red. Two very big pluses!! Annnnd for desert we finished off with the carrot cake and had to try the Italian donut, it was national donut day. Both great choices. Our server was friendly and timed everything perfect. 5 start service all around. It wasn't too loud in there, which is good for a date night. The end bill shouldn't surprise you but will run with tip for all we had $350ish. Drinks, apps, entrees and desert. Bummer that valet is $30! Crazy how they wouldn't offer half price if you are eating at the hotel or something. So Uber if you can, parking around the hotel is limited with almost no spots. We will be back because of the food and the service.

Yelp
I had made a reservation for a party of 3 at the last minute for 7:30 and arrived around 7:35, seated about five minutes later. There is a cozy waiting area as well as valet parking. There is a bar located outdoors which I cannot wait to check out in the future. Overall the service/hospitality was overall spectacular. I was not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. The food was also excellent. It's share style, pretty decent portions. Everything had lots of flavored. We ordered the Cesar salad, spicy rigatoni, burrata, and chicken parm. Would definitely come back. The specials also sounded amazing

Yelp
If you're craving a taste of authentic Italian cuisine with a New York flair, Vitolo Fort Lauderdale is the place to be! Located in the Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach, this family-owned and operated dining destination exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped inside, I knew it was going to be a great experience. The highlight of my dining experience was undoubtedly the mozzarella en carrozza. Imagine a classic mozzarella stick elevated to gourmet status, served in grilled cheese form. Each bite was delicious and left me craving more. The ambiance at Vitolo is nothing short of enchanting. It's elevated and romantic atmosphere is the perfect setting for a special date night or celebratory dinner. One of the best-kept secrets at Vitolo is their daily happy hour from 4 to 6 PM, available exclusively at the bar. During this time, you can indulge in a tempting array of bites, all priced under $14, paired with an assortment of cocktails and wines, each under $10. It's a fantastic way to sample some of their offerings without breaking the bank. If you're in the mood for exquisite Italian cuisine with a touch of New York charm, look no further than Vitolo Fort Lauderdale. Buon appetito!

Kristen S.

Yelp
Vitolo was a lovely experience. I had the mozzarella en carozza, spaghetti pomodoro, and finished off with a cannoli. The good was very well done. I sat outside at a quaint little table. The service was great, and the servers were very attentive. I enjoyed my meal and the experience. Would definitely consider coming to this restaurant again the next time I'm in the area!

Sophie H.

Yelp
This place is excellent. The service is very attentive, (and their pairing recommendations for the extensive wine list are great!) The food is delicious: I highly recommend the meatballs with truffle ricotta for your appetizer! I had the linguine alle vongole, and my date had the chicken Parmesan. Great vibe overall and very beautiful restaurant!

Linda G.

Yelp
We were so happy to discover Vitolo (a new Italian hot spot from NYC) opened within walking distance from our condo. I secured my Saturday evening reservation for four, and last night we made our way there. Tucked away in the backside of the Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach hotel, the place was bustling with beautiful people. Henry, the assistant GM, greeted us warmly upon arrival and recommended the cozy confines of the dining room area. We enjoyed a round of drinks to to start us off. My girlfriend said her Cosmopolitan was outstanding. For dinner I ordered my fave- Pollo al Parmigiana for my entree. Our waiter advised it would be enough for two people, and it most definitely was. We even had extra! We also ordered the Pollo al Limone (which was not as stellar as the parm), Sea bass, Caesar salad (loved) and broccoli rabe. They did a beautiful job with the decor, though the acoustics are a bit loud and make it hard to hear your server. We did experience a few minor hiccups such as delayed bread service and a brief lapse in water replenishment. For my husband and myself (as well as the couple we dined with), it was the absence of a pasta side that was a disappointment. Our request for a small serving to accompany our chicken parmigiana was met with an emphatic response of no can do from our waiter. He advised the only option was to order a full size entree of their Spaghetti Al Pomodoro. We all agreed this was a missed opportunity. Overall I'd say this restaurant comes with a higher price tag, which makes it perhaps more suitable for a special occasion.

Frank B.

Yelp
My wife and I were very happy we chose to dine at Vitolo's this evening. After accidentally entering the restaurant next to the kitchen, the cooks and chef happily directed us to the main entrance. While the chef recommended us to dine in the kitchen area, we opted to eat at a high top near the bar area. The atmosphere was great. Though, we will definitely give the library area pr kitchen a try next time we eat here. We had a delicious meal and were treated well by all of the staff. We both had the chicken parmigiana and loved the delicious and huge entree. We capped off the meal with tasty cannoli. Give this place a try. You will enjoy it.

Gina F.

Yelp
This is a beautiful Italian restaurant. It's great that they validate part of the valet parking so it is only $15. Our server was very attentive! The complimentary bread and olive oil was out of this world and they will bring you more, just have to ask. We had the pepperoni pizza, lobster ravioli, shrimp scampi, bambolini and cheesecake. Each of us was thoroughly impressed with our entrees and desserts. Our Italian family would highly recommend if you are looking for authentic food in the Fort Lauderdale area.

Justin N.

Yelp
This new place just inside the Conrad on the famous Fort Lauderdale beach is amazing! The Italian inspired dishes and the beverage menu are second to none. The ambiance and the staff are both incredible. Service with distinction is paramount here and you can tell it. Our server, Chris, was very pleasant and even prepared a dessert sampling since we couldn't decide on just one. I had the pleasure of taking two close friends out for dinner while they were in town and they loved it!

Mitchell M.

Yelp
After attempting to secure a reservation here for several months and then forgetting about this place, we were not far away and attempted to and were successful in securing a reservation. Coming into the restaurant via the Southwest side of a side street was a little strange as you walk straight into a dining room without a host/hostess barrier separating walk-ins from the dining room and it turns out the open kitchen but an employee spotted us entering and escorted us through that room, another dining room and up the stairs leading to the host/hostess desk. While the male host was polite, the female hostess who took over seemed absolutely miserable and should have chosen a different profession. We had arrived early with the majority of tables available in the restaurant she took us to one in the "library" where if you turned your head it would bump into the adjoining wall, so we asked for another table. Ms. Unhappy hostess gave us an attitude and look that was completely unacceptable for a person at a restaurant whose ownership obviously (and with merit) has aspirations to be five stars in every facet (decor, service, food) of a restaurant operation. So that experience left a major negative experience and for 45 minutes became the topic of conversation. In any event removing the negative portion of the evening, let's focus first on the decor and theme. There are three dining rooms, the "library" which is beautiful and dark - somewhat similar to what you'd expect at a top end steakhouse, another room with better lighting which seemed more for people who are less private and/or younger wanting to hang with friends and be seen and another dining room by the kitchen that if dressed for the beach maybe the more appropriate dining room for these type of diners. Our server was highly professional and so were the others who interacted with us. We started with Mozzarella En Carrozza, which as others may have described, looked a little like an italian version of a grilled cheese sandwich but using panko breadcrumbs and mozzarella with an accompanying red sauce. It had great crunch, texture and taste and was loved. We followed up with their chicken parm which was enough for four people (and appropriately cut at the table into quarters). It too was excellent. We also ordered the Spicy Paccheri Vodka which was incredibly presented and was very good too although somewhat lacking the Spicy in its titled description. We also had rosemary potatoes which as a potato freak were good but would have loved them to be crispy. We also enjoyed a reasonably priced Brunello. Their menu is not extensive but well balanced with typical Italian favorites. As lovers of Cacio e Pepe we asked if that is ever available and our server told us it is as on their "secret menu" so we will be sure to order this next time and compare it other our favorite Italian restaurants (Le Sorelle in Downtown Boca and Il Tartufo). All in all we highly recommend this place and although we have only tried it once we will include this as the best or one of the best Italian restaurants in South Florida.

Yelp
This is a must visit when in Ft Lauderdale. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food is second to none. Never had a bad bite of food here and the cocktails are amazing. Whether a special occasion or grabbing a bite at the bar - you cannot go wrong here

Larry R.

Yelp
It's so great to have a local, friendly, beautiful Italian restaurant to be able to walk to on Ft. Lauderdale Beach ! Vitolo is all of that ! On a Friday night, the place is packed, but I'm lucky enough to find a spot in the gorgeous Bar. My Bartender and server Julian , took such great care of me, with Friendly and quick greeting, and service! I had the excellent fresh made bread, which they serve over fantastic , herbed Olive oil. So good... I also had the excellent Clams and Linguine... a savory sauce and flavor... When I was leaving , I met Chef Peter, who was enthusiastic to show me his Mother's recipe Bread, which they make fresh, continually.... He gave me a hot loaf to go ! Go, and enjoy ; it's a happening place !!

Yelp
Stayed at the Conrad for the weekend. We knew Takato was here, but wasn't sure about any other restaurant....but so glad Vitolo is here. They sat us in the "Chefs Kitchen" so we ate on the line practically. I had a few glasses of wine and was messing around with Sous Chef Louis, he was a very nice guy in total control of the kitchen. Our server Isabella was very friendly and completely on top of her $hit. We thoroughly appreciated the wonderful service from their entire team..... Let's talk about the food. Their grilled octopus appetizer was a huge portion and cooked perfectly. Even my 3 year old destroyed this dish. The Carbonara was so creamy and cheesey. I was blown away with the flavor of the sauce. I was so sad when it was all gone. The Striped Bass was also delicious. Again, a more than fair portion and cooked perfectly. The side of meatballs also worked in very well. A very delicate meatball, accompanied by a tangy marinara where i could have drank the sauce. Overall 10/10 I have no complaints. This was a great meal. Thank you!

Whitley H.

Yelp
Food was delicious. Lobster pasta was bomb. The clams were delicious, bread crumbs drowned out clams. But otherwise delicious. Broccoli was bland. Service at the outside bar was great. Joe was great and attentive. Great with recommendations. All in all, great food and service. Would return.

Allura L.

Yelp
I tend to not eat at places when they first open so they have time to get their stuff together. You know? First 1-4 months is their time to figure things out but we did here because it was recommended by the concierge from the Four Seasons. I LOVE Italian food but this didn't work for me or my husband who is Italian. Ambiance: The restaurant itself is wonderfully decorated and the staff were all very pleasant. Service: Our waiter was awesome and did what he could but overall it was not worth it. Food: Specifically the pasta, was overly salty which was heartbreaking. I don't recall what we else we ordered. It wasn't memorable at all.

Marla S.

Yelp
We have had cocktails at Vitolo's, as well as a two-hour private cocktails and hors d'oeuvres event, which was exceptional. Last night was our first dining experience, and Vitolo killed it! Vitolo's atmosphere is classy and energetic. You feel like you have stepped into a private room on a ship! It's the perfect spot for private events or a dinner date! We sat at the bar for cocktails for 30 minutes before we were seated. Dylan, our bartender, was exceptional, as usual. You must have a Paper Plane... you're welcome. After being seated, Darwin provided attentive, fun, and professional service. He was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations. We had the special, Dover Sole and Linguini Alle Vongole for entrees, and Vongole Oreganata and Polpette for starters. During a prior visit, we had several pizzas, Mozzarella en Carrozza--must have!--and the Antipasto Della Casa. Each item was outstanding. We are looking forward to our next visit to try the lamb chops! Thank you, Henry and Wilson, for checking in with our table throughout the evening, ensuring a five-star experience!

Yelp
The upscale culinary experience Fort Lauderdale needed! Located on Fort Lauderdale beach inside the beautiful Conrad hotel, you will find the absolute best Italian restaurant. Vitolo brings the sophisticated NYC Italian experience we love to see. Perfect date option or group outing. The interior design is stunning and truly a foodie paradise with a huge menu offering countless options making it hard to choose. Rumor has it the pizza is exceptional! The pasta, meatballs, and veal parm can't be missed. For a sweet finish I recommend the tiramisu and cheesecake because you simple can't choose.

The staff were so friendly and helpful with the menu. Food was amazing!! Had the fish of the day which was sole done piccata style with roasted potatoes and carrots. We also had the pasta with clams. Both were delicious. Lots of food. Couldn't eat it all.

Yelp
Nice, upscale restaurant in a hotel. The menu is fairly standard Italian food, but everything was really high quality and delicious. We started with baked clams which were delicious. Also had the octopus which was cooked perfectly and was really tasty. Then we had.Shrimp fra diavolo that was very good. Huge shrimp, pasta, and a slightly spicy sauce. Very good. Had some broccoli rabe which was excellent. No bitter taste, not overly oily, nice and garlicy. We finished off with some tiramisu which was great. The star of the meal though was the chicken parmigiana. Huge portion and absolutely perfect. A little crispy on the outside, moist inside, great sauce and cheese. This is was chicken parm should be. Had 1 cocktail, made perfectly. It was an expensive meal, close to $200 with tax and tip. But delicious! I'd go again for a special occasion.

Yelp
Best dinner spot in Fort Lauderdale! Loved the wine selection, upscale ambiance & service, fried mozzarella & lamb chops were outstanding! As an owner of a travel agency & concierge company I have tried every restaurant in the area this spot has it all fun, cozy & romantic. Great central location inside the Conrad hotel. Highly recommended, bravo!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I came here for a New Years Eve date and it was only open for a month. We found out it's the same chef as the renown restaurant in NYC so we were super excited to try. The service was amazing! Our waiter was so friendly and helpful in explaining the menu and suggestions. The concept is to share the dishes so we ordered chicken Parmesan, bolognese, broccoli rabe and wine. The chicken Parmesan was huge! We both had a decent portion and still had half left. We also got the bolognese, the pasta was perfectly al dente. You should definitely try if you have a chance!

Yelp
Vitolo is a beautiful space with a fun atmosphere for groups or date night. The high top tables by the bar are seat yourself, which was perfect because the restaurant was pretty crowded. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. One odd thing was that we wanted to start with a few appetizers and go from there, but our waiter said the food really needed to be ordered all at once, so that he could pace the dishes accordingly. I've never had a waiter tell me how we need to order, but we went ahead and ordered both the meatballs and the pasta bolognese at the same time, per his suggestion. Two minutes later, both dishes came out, so I'm not sure what kind of pacing they were using because they were definitely not cooked to order. The food itself was the main issue for me. The meatballs were pretty good, but the pasta bolognese was actually bad. The pasta itself was either not fully cooked or had been sitting around for a while. The sauce lacked flavor and tasted like it consisted only of ground beef, not the mixture described on the menu. I wanted to try a few other dishes, but the pasta was so disappointing that we went ahead and got the check. Maybe there are some opening growing pains, but I don't know that I would come back for more than drinks.

Yelp
Wow, this was one of the best meals I've had in a long time, and I dare say the best Italian food in Fort Lauderdale. I visited during the soft opening and was really impressed with the transformation of the space. They've created distinct sections for an intimate dining experience. The decor is a beautiful blend of Italian Americana and modern styles, with the main dining room featuring glass coin chandeliers. We sat in a cozier room, which had a library vibe mixed with nautical collectibles. The service was top-notch. You could feel the staff's excitement and pride about the opening. We also loved the wine recommendation from the sommelier. Now, the food... as a vegan I was immediately impressed by the menu. Dietary restrictions were clearly marked everywhere, which is rare in fine dining Italian places. Most Italian restaurants don't have many vegan options, let alone highlight them. I started with the insalate rucola and asked for the Parmesan on the side, a nice citrusy touch, and light vinaigrette. For the main, I had the Gnocchi with their signature pomodoro sauce - a true test of Italian cuisine. It was delightful, and I learned they import their tomatoes from a family farm in Italy. They even offer vegan Gelato for dessert. My only regret? Getting too full to try their vegan pizza! My friends tried the barrata, Gamberi scampi, and the massive Vitello Antonio veal, and they were all raving about their dishes. For dessert they loved the cheesecake and the Tiramisu. This place is a must-visit in South Florida, and I'm already planning my next visit for the pizza!

Yelp
Food was very good, service was horrible. Firstly, the waiter wrote nothing down and got all our drinks wrong. We didn't order any wine but he left the wine glasses on the table of four which left us very little room for our appetizers. One of us had to pick up the wine glasses and put them on the bar so we could eat our appetizers. Secondly, get RID of FOOD RUNNERS! They bring the food and leave, no plates or silverware on the table. Our waiter was nowhere to be found. Food gets cold! We finally got the attention of someone and they brought us plates and silverware, still haven't seen the waiter, Again, even cold the food was good, but doubt whether we'll venture back...

Yelp
First time trying Vitolo, and Chris was fantastic! Would recommend sitting inside versus outside. The ambiance was dark & cool but Chris' service was one of the best parts. The music was a sort of Italian slow vibe for the beginning then around 10:30 switched to more of a party playlist. All of our food came out so fast and was delicious. The clams were the best - Would come back!

Yelp
Once I saw our favorite Italian joint in NYC head chef open a new restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale nothing was stopping us to check it out. While his new digs look much different than Emilio ballatos I'm glad to say his recipes taste exactly the same. Vitolo is located inside the conrad hotel and is a beautiful space with great food and service to match. While I expected our food to be delish the amazing service we had from Rueben our waiter was the cherry on top. Add this one to your list when in Ft. Lauderdale.

Yelp
Staying at the Conrad where this place is located and the pizza was really good. Martinis went down like water and the bartenders were nice. Try the sidecar if you like cognac and a last word if you like gin. Cool spot !

Yelp
Went to Vitolo last night for our anniversary it was incredible. Sat near the kitchen, the chef Peter went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience! All the courses were more delicious than the last. So tasty and flavorful, loved seeing all the food coming out and it was an intimate vibe by the kitchen we loved it! Can't wait to go back, thanks for making our night special!

Yelp
Cool Amalfi/Sorrento themed outdoor bar with high fan power. The drinks were also well made however had a minor hiccup with paying the bill as we had to walk back and forth a few times to get it done when they couldn't simply bring us the check

Yelp
Wow!!!! From the moment we arrived at the hostess stand, we were treated like royalty. Daisy was our server and she was excellent. Friendly, personable, efficient and fast. From the calamari to the lobster ravioli, gnocchi and pork chop, everything exceeded my highest expectations. Then, they brought us the most absolutely amazing tiramisu I have ever had. The manager, Chris, knew it was our first time and checked on us multiple times and even gave the suggestion of the pork chop. WHICH. WAS. AMAZING!!!! This is perfect place to dine, be it a date night or big party. This place is a must go ASAP!!!!

Yelp
I want to start with the service since I noticed that in some reviews, people complain about the service, which I am honestly shocked because we felt very special when we came here last night. Our server Carlos was attentive and made sure everything was good in our table. The asst manager Henry also visited our table to check in Last night was very busy but the service still 10/10!!!! Let's talk about the ambiance, We were seated at used to be library according to the couple that we met. It definitely make me feel like I was not in the restaurant more like at someone's elegant living room. Very classy yet casual at the same time. Now the food, we order side dishes Baked clams with breadcrumbs,"my favorite" Rosemary potato, "not so much" Crispy mozzarella with marinara sauce "hubby's fave" For our main course I ordered Cacio E pepe which is very delicious and hubby end up eating my pasta! He ordered breaded chicken with mozzarella and tomato sauce. 10/10 I would recommend to share this order with someone since the serving of this specific dish was huge! And to end our night we order the famous cheesecake that was flew from New York! Since I was full, I only order one and plan to share with my husband, but I ended up eating the whole slice so we order another one. It was very delicious.10/10 I also noticed that everyone's most ordered was the pizza I can't wait to come back and try it. I will definitely recommend this with my colleague and clients. This place is definitely perfect for any special occasion!

Yelp
My wife and I are going to ton a cruise to the Bahamas. We are in town for the night. My wife went on Yelp to find a good restaurant in the area. My wife made us a reservation at Vitolo, for 5pm. The Uber driver dropped us off around the corner, but we still made it in time. We have never been to Vitolo, so we didn't know where the entrance was. We entered near the kitchen. There was an employee in the area, so we asked him where the host desk was located. The employee was Jean. Jean was very helpful and actually walked us to the desk himself. The host was very pleasant. We were asked to wait 5 min, so we went to the bar and had a few drinks. I had a margarita and my wife just had water. A host came and collected us from the bar and sat us in a nice room, all to ourselves. The decor and ambiance were great. Our server was Darwin. Darwin was very enthusiastic and made us feel real comfortable. Darwin made us feel like a million dollars. There were a few more gentlemen that we came into contact was, but I didn't get their names. I had the shrimp scampi and my wife had the lemon chicken. Both plates were just awesome, terrific, fabulous and amazing!!! The margaritas were great. We asked for the dessert menu and Darwin provided it ti us. I ordered the cheese cake and my wife got the Tiramisu. We mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary, so Darwin brought out my wife's dessert with a sparkler. It was just wonderful. That really topped it the night. The bill was not devastating and was proportionate to the quality of food and service combined. Yes.... I would definitely return to try something different. I would also recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family.

Yelp
Best Italian restaurant in Ft Lauderdale! We had the pizza, tagliatelle bolognese, and spicy paccheri

Yelp
This was by far the best meal we had while on vacation. Our waiter, Darwin, was amazing! He guided us through the menu and made excellent recommendations. We shared an appetizer which was a special of the day. Mozzarella, figs, and arugula rolled in prosciutto with a balsamic drizzle. Absolutely amazing!!! We shared a chicken dish and the bolognese for our main course. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic Italian food.

Yelp
Vitolo exceeded our expectations with its wonderful culinary experience. The Burrata was freshly made, and the delicious octopus were highlights, along with the generously portioned lobster ravioli. The ambience is captivating, especially in the library seating area, perfect for a romantic date night. The attentive servers added to the overall exceptional dining experience. Highly recommend, but reservations are advisable due to its popularity.

Yelp
The restaurant is inside of the Conrad hotel. It's got a beautiful dining room but also a second dining area that's by their open kitchen. I don't suggest booking that area if you're adverse to the strong smells of grease for frying. The portions were small but I like that. I had the spaghetti carbonara and that flavor was disappointing, but I'm sure other items on their menu are very good. The waiter service is very attentive and they do have tables and chairs to sit outside if you like.
