ViVi Bubble Tea

First who would not like flavorful explosions in you mouth from these cream filled bubbles. Viví Bubble was a new experience for me but I like the concept. I had the creamy bubbles but you can opt for the fruity or jelly based ones as well. It is refreshing if you do not look at the calories. Each drink is individually made.

Except for some weird smell at the store, It was all okay. I got Thai tea with 30%sugar, no ice. I enjoyed my Thai tea! Also, they will give you a coupon for collecting stamps! If I get 10 drinks, I will get a free Boba!

Amazing bubble teas with equally great staff. Forget to take pics of drinks but they were amazing.

I ordered the blue galaxy with tapioca it's more of a tart limeade. Super tart an super sweet it's like drinking a sour patch. Worth it if you enjoy that flavor. I like this particular bubble tea shop because other places make you order $10 worth or nothing at all if you have a card. An with this place it was peaceful to just order one drink an go. I love the little bubble stickers 😅 definitely will be back!!

Their fresh milk teas taste like just water and milk. Owner accused me of not knowing what it should taste like when that is my usual order. At least they were willing to remake to their normal milk tea, though I didn’t get the difference refunded. There are several other ViVis around. Go to another one.

First off, customer service was great! I ordered the Oreo-something one. It was good, but surprisingly, not as sweet as I had expected, though I still enjoyed. Was my first time, got introduced to this spot by a friend, but I’d return. Especially because they have a ‘loyalty card’ 🙂 (One free drink valued at $3.50 after purchasing 6)

I enjoyed my blue galaxy even though I did not know what to expect when I ordered it. I ordered it because it was blue and wanted to try it. My friend ordered the Oreo drink and was not a fan. He is not a fan of bubble tea so that might be why. The drinks were made super quickly despite a good amount of people in front of us. The bubble tea shop is aesthetic.

I tried taro tea and though it was good. The tiramisu slush was delicious. Overall, a small space and quick staff. Hope this helps!

As a student this place is a game changer, not only are the drinks super good and very flavorful, but the staff allows you to get a large bubble tea for the price of a medium with a student id. Great option if you're craving bubble tea and i personally recommend the Oreo crème brûlée. The seating area is nice and this place is great to go with friends.

They misheard my order and when I told the guy at the cashier he said "what do you want me to do about it, you already ordered. You can order a new one". I've never been somewhere where they won't remake a drink when they rang it up incorrectly.

Food (4/5): Got the matcha bubble tea. It was decent but not the freshest or best I've had. Service (4/5): Bubble tea came out fast and they were reasonably helpful. Ambiance (3/5): It has nice color tones and cool poster decorations. However it is a bit dirty and the floor and walls seem like they've seen some wear and tear. There is a food amount of seating but no restrooms.

This bubble tea chain seems to be everywhere I look nowadays. I think there are like 30 of them in the city. This one on 14th street is pretty much the same as all the rest. Same look and feel. Same menu featuring all kinds of bubble teas, along with some food items like popcorn chicken. I've only had the bubble teas from here as they have a nice variety and do a good job with them. Some good deals on them too. Not a meat eater so I avoid the chicken here. Not sure I would eat chicken from a bubble tea spot anyway.

It's decent bubble tea, but nothing special. It's on par with KFT and Gong Cha, with bit more gourmet feel. Wish they made the interior a bit cleaner and easier to sit around, but it's supposed to be more of a come and go type of place.

A quick afternoon stop always 10 stars nothing less. As far as the service I'm not sure the cashier said hi the interaction was fast . No indoor seating but the bubble tea was great

Came in with some friends after a late-night dinner. I took a look at the very large menu and decided to go with a Taro Milk Tea with Soymilk. I have been a fan of taro milk tea for quite some time, but I had never personally had from ViVi. The employee behind the counter wasn't particularly friendly while he took my order. I paid a little under $5 for a medium, which is around average bubble tea pricing. My tea was ready in about 5 minutes, and I was excited to try it. I was overall really disappointed with it. Firstly, I did not find the taro flavor to be strong at all. Secondly, I was asked about sugar level, and made clear that normal, or 100% was fine. However, I found that it wasn't very sweet at all. Overall, with my tea quality and mediocre customer service, I probably wouldn't come back. I had originally stopped in due to the late hour that I was out and many other locations being closed. There are plenty of other bubble tea locations in this area of NY.

Another decent boba tea place in East Village. Fun customer service and very clean inside. Ordered the Vivi Bubble Milk Tea, flaming Brown Sugar Milk tea, and Thai Milk Tea. All 3 had the perfect amount of sugar and tea flavor. Price was on par with Kung Ku Tea and not as busy. For sure will be back.

Take my money. Relatively cheaper and reasonable priced bubble tea shop! If you're looking for some boba, this place is the way to go.

Got the garlic popcorn chicken from here and it was alright, not as good as the chicken from the location on 3rd ave 9th street Popcorn Chicken

This area is bound to meet all your bubble tea needs (with GongCha and PaTea being right across the street). That being said, the major thing Vivi's has going for it are its discounts and prices. They're a bit easier on the wallet compared to GongCha. Also Vivi's milk tea is easy on those who are lactose intolerant (in my experience).

Staff not super friendly and bad drinks. I love sweets but there was something gross about these drinks. Bad flavor. Hard boba. All I can say is they have some tables and are open late.

I was disappointed when i received my drink because it didn't taste anything like it's name. I've had many brown sugar milk teas before and this was by far my least favorite. It was much more milky than anything else & simply did not look like the posted pictures. Taste is subjective so dont write this place off with my opinion alone but it just wasn't for me.

If it were Lychee, it'd be my largest cat. But it's not, it's Vivi. This is one of two Vivi locations which I came to and enjoyed a drink and then the pictures disappeared. I don't know if I uploaded them and then they disappeared or they just completely disappeared off my camera. But I'm a fan of the bubble tea here and it's pretty good and I wish them all the best and I'll definitely be back at some point when I'm in this part of Manhattan.

I am enamored ViVi's mango green tea $3.50 which I usually opt without tapioca black pearls or jelly, but I always request for a towering amount of ice. Yes, Sally W. a loyalty punch card is available upon request only and interchangeable usage at ViVi's locations. The loyalty punch card also serves as a business card. Minimal seating is available as my goal was to rest momentarily away from the fast-pace daily grind, daily deal, daily life's intake. A moment of phlegmatic was absorbed. Service is average. Note: No restroom facility is available on premise since seating is under twenty and not required by law.

Don't like this place anymore! Just ordered popcorn chicken and not worth the price! It's getting less and less. I will never ever come back again. Thank you!!!

Now, bring your school ID and they will boost up your medium bubble tea to a large one. If you do not mind getting fat or you are like me doing cheat meal everyday, go ahead. Location: ViVi is close to the new Gongcha. I never want to come to ViVi because I am a hardcore CoCo fan. Nevertheless, my friend told me that their popcorn chicken is great. I was like, okay, lemme try. This place is interesting, very Asian. The cute design and weird logo, way to go, babe. The line is really quickly, looks like everyone knew what they want? I went with bubble tea without sugar, without ice. And popcorn chicken and omg fried oreo. I did not try fried oreo since the calories behind it would be insane. I would just watch people eat instead of letting myself stuck in the fat hole. But I did try popcorn chicken. Delish! It tasted exactly what I had back in middle school. I cannot describe, but it was with emotion in it. LOL, I just want to emphasize how good it tasted. Bubble tea is average but bubble is very good. Overall: a 3.5 experience. And I usually do not write review for beverage shop, this one is so good that I decided to write something. Although rate is not high, I recommend people to try bubble tea and popcorn chicken here. Better than Gongcha for sure tho

Such a cute place in china town, for a quick and tasty bubble tea break. I got the classic Vivi bubble milk tea, which was a classic black milk tea with bubbles. The tea itself is like any other tea, fragrant, well mixed and with a ratio of tea, milk, and water. The bubbles were made perfectly tender and chewy. I wish there was something putting it more out there from other bubble tea places, but it doesn't. But it's also not bad. They offer small snacks too such as onigiri , which i also got but did not picture. It was also well made. The rice was soft, tender, the meat was tender and not dry. And it's a great snack.

Vivi is the worst of the bubble tea chains around the city - I really wish they were so much better since they have more locations around town where I end up being, but every location is as underwhelming as the last. The milk tea here is very powdery in flavor, and the boba is consistently too soft and completely flavorless. Across the board. Every Vivi. Don't come here. Find the nearest Kung Fu or Coco!

It got the job done! I had to pick up a relative after a minor surgery. He was under anesthesia and i knew he would be really loopy. He doesn't drink coffee or tea so i decided to get him the Mango bubble tea from here and a passion fruit bubble tea for myself. He was definitely loopy but he did manage to walk a few blocks and the tea definitely helped! Also for someone who isn't a tea or bubble tea fan, he said he really liked it. what more can you ask for?

Two months ago my friend and I went to a Ukrainian restaurant in the area (which I wrote a review of too) and afterwards we walked over to this place. Inside it's not the biggest place but then again for these sort of places they don't really have to, though it could've been a little cleaner. The color scheme and design though blended in well with the sort of establishment it is. One cool thing about the place is that they accept my friend and I's student cards for discount, so if you're a college student in the area they should accept it too. I'm more of a traditional ice cream / milkshake guy, but if you like the sort of shakes and teas they have on their menu, definitely visit this place. so even though I might not come here often, it was nice to visit nonetheless and hopefully I can return to try out the food they have on their menu.

I think the decor is cute and the cups with the little skeleton figures is cute, but the bubble tea was bland. I got the 3Q, which is the one with grass jelly and egg custard. It's all the rage these days. I felt that the tea was not sweet enough, the boba a bit soft, and the grass jelly and egg custard to be on the bland side. It's probably healthier than those where you can only taste the cream, but I honestly wanted something heavier. Since you have the option of getting less cream and/or ice, I figure people who want a healthier version can get that. The nice thing is that the price seems alright. They also offer a musubi with a boba for only $5. Not bad at all. You can get an upgrade from a medium to a large with a student ID, but don't expect them to prompt you.

Ordered through Postmates, at the time there's a promotion $3 off $15 order, was delivered from this Vivi location rather than a closer one. Brown Sugar Milk Tea with boba: 90/100, so far the best brown sugar milk tea I had. (Compares to Yifang and etc) Taro Milk: 70/100. Don't really like milk... Popcorn chicken (garlic): flavor is ok, but portion is too small

From experience some Vivi's chains sells different types of food items (popcorn chicken etc). YES THIS STORE HAS POPCORN CHICKEN!!! And it is GOOD!!! All the stores sell about the same selection of bubble teas, which are a staple for the store. The bubble teas are pretty solid, but it is the popcorn chicken that puts them over the top. So delicious. The Taiwanese sausages are very good as well. Oily and greasy, however 2 sausages for $5 is pretty extreme, so i stick to the popcorn chicken. My favorite flavor is the basil followed closely by the spicy, but in essence all 5 flavors are delicious. PLEASE READ: SOME YELP READERS ARE MISGUIDED. Vivis does have a loyalty program, but you have to the read the back of the loyalty card carefully. The loyalty cards are not INTERCHANGEABLE AT ALL VIVIS locations. For example The loyalty card I have is only accepted at 5 Vivis stores (2 Chinatown locations, Little Italy, Financial District, and Chelsea) and thus I had to get a new one for this location. Definitely will come back as this is a one stop shop for both my bubble tea cravings and the popcorn chicken.

Vivi's is a chain bubble tea shop in New York. In addition to bubble teas, they serve slushes and sweet juices. Additionally select stores have food items such as sausages, chicken, fish balls, and taikoyaki. This shop has the food items. Additionally their reward card gets you a free drink after six drinks (the one in Chinatown is after the tenth drink) and you can also upgrade to a large drink for free with a student id. Bubbles are also free. I like Vivi's more than Kung Fu, it's pretty standard across all stores. It's also very similar to a shop you would find in Hong Kong or Taiwan which is fun. Cards are excepted for payments over $4 otherwise you'll need cash. The wait was quite short although we did have to wait a bit longer for the chicken. All in all, I come here quite often.

Taiwanese popcorn chicken is becoming less of once-in-awhile treat to a guilty after-workout pleasure. Which is bad, because now I'm calling every form of physical activity a "workout" to justify my nasty (but delicious) habit. It doesn't help that my brother also goes crazy at the prospect of fried chicken. Maybe we're genetically doomed to be fatasses. The chicken can be... inconsistent. The "spicy" I ordered the other day was indeed teary eyed spicy but it was lacking in sodium. I fear this has something to do with the health conscience area. Stupid green movement. Oh well, I can always just tell them to kick it a notch and it's not like I have any other options. Seriously, where else around can you get popcorn chicken and fried Oreos? This place has a vice grip on my balls. I don't know why a Taiwanese place is serving carnival food but it's better not to ask questions. Sshh sshh sshh sshh *inserts*

Cute store front. Good bubble tea. Had the passion fruit with boba. Love the decor in the place. This was my first time having bubble tea like this and I'm in love. I pretty much stopped by here every day to get my fix while I was in town.

I went in tonight ordered two drinks the girl made the drinks and put them on the counter. It wasnt super busy there wasnt anyone really in the store around this time. My drink was super watery I got the flaming brown sugar milk tea which is usually amazing im not sure what happened tonight. Second drink friend said was also water which was the taro creme brulee. The serive bothered me tonight because i was by myself with the drinks so usually when this happens they put them in a bag and its easier to carry i asked for a bag since she just placed them on the counter and she hands me a bag as if i was annoying her. She didnt bag it or give me straws like every other person has done and I frequent this location alot but after tonight Im not sure if I want to continue visiting that location.

Tried the yakult (small yogurt type drink) green tea and it tasted like my childhood. The bubbles here are pretty good. Soft and chewy. Its along the busy 14th street, but pretty hard to miss with their bright colors. This location also serves hot food/snacks. There are a few seats inside along the walls, but overall, pretty tiny. If you have your school ID, you can get a free upgrade to a large (works for any school ID!). You can use credit card at this location, but there is a minimum purchase.

I love VIVI! They have great flavor sand fast service. I usually get the bubble tea with the boba & pudding in it. It's also nice that they have Lactaid options for those who can't handle regular dairy. Overall, this place is consistent & will always have good options since it's a franchise. I'll be back!

I ordered two cups of milk tea and a salt crispy chicken. I was very angry. The salt crispy chicken couldn't be eaten in one bite. The first time I encountered such a food, the salt crispy chicken was super invincible. The meat could not be described! ! My own fried at home is more delicious than this, it just makes the chicken dry and speechless, I want to call and complain and didn't answer ! Please come to do business and come up with such a thing. I will not order any more.

The service is really bad here. Also the drink is not as good as other vivi. Avoid this place if you can.

The waitress here at Saturday afternoon is super super rude - she is a short fat Asian lady with very arrogant attitude - I thought one drink was mine and was gonna ask about it and she scalded at me "it's not yours don't touch it" and subsequent conversation is just very rude and disrespectful. She should get fired.

Solid bubble tea. Everyone needs one every now and then. This is my neighbourhood go-to. This joint uses lactaid instead of milk. I'm not lactose intolerant but perhaps this helps others in deciding whether to dine here or not. Bonus: it's just $3.00 for a generous medium-sized standard bubble milk tea.

I've had sooo many bad bubble teas before that sometimes I'm afraid to try new places, but a couple years ago my friend (who I trusted) wanted to get bubble tea and we were in Chinatown (different location than this one) and I got one and it was delicious! The place screams Asians since it's super "kawaii" but it's definitely an "in" place for younger Asian people. All the bubble teas they make are delicious and I recommend you get the 3Q Milk Tea if it's your first time trying it, it's honestly a favorite of mine, but I got the Green Tea Yakult, which is a light yogurt drink (Also good). In the past I've also gotten the takoyakis before and I've tried from "authentic" places before and it's pretty good if you want to try octopus balls. I know it sounds weird but give it a try, it's pretty good and perfect for carrying around in the city while on the go. So to sum it up, you get great bubble teas, pretty decent small snacks and everything is at a decent price! The one thing I love about this location is that they provide seating, which most ViVi's don't and that it's in a location where there aren't much bubble tea places around.

Totally going to ViVi on 14th Street because of the advertised special of 2 for $4 Passion QQ or Peach Ice Jelly drink. I like the Peach Ice Jelly drink. IF YOU ARE HERE OFTEN, ASK FOR THEIR PUNCH CARD. THEY WILL NOT AUTOMATICALLY GIVE YOU A PUNCH CARD UNLESS YOU ASK FOR IT. Service here is odd. The person at the register doesn't know what goes in my drink. Kept on telling me boba is in the drink I ordered when it doesn't. And doesn't know how to omit the ice out of the cup!!! If they keep on having this drink special, I'll keep on visiting.

I must have asked for unsweetened because mine barely had any sweetness to it but I that just attests to the goodness of their drink because from all the desserts I've had that day, my palate needed it unsweetened and you know what? It was perfect! Perfect amount of pudding, grass jelly, and boba! It was so flavorful I did not miss the sweetness!

The Thai tea is excellent! And there are a few tables to sit and sip (though not many). I asked them a question about the milk tea and the girl gave me an irritated look and mumbled something, so there's that.

Disappointed in this establishment's customer service and their lack of regard for their loyalty coupon. I'm been going to this establishment for years always bring my card to earn a free bubble tea. Today I tried to redeem my free drink only to be told that the drink would only be redeemable for a flavored tea minus the boba. If changes are made in a establishment 's customer rewards system there should be some transparency and regards for long-standing customers.

So glad that I don't have to travel all the way to Chinatown to get vivi bubble tea! Makes the perfect ending to any meal whether you had halal down the street or baohaus next door. The place itself is small, but bigger than the one in Chinatown. Boba was consistent with their other location: bombdotcom.

Amazing bubble tea! The staff is very friendly and work very fast. This location is always clean and welcoming!

So happy to see this location here! Seems more expensive than the one in Chinatown. Still relatively cheap and service is quick. Chewy boba (hate when it's mushy) that wasn't too sweet. I like that you can choose the level of sweetness of your drink.

One of my favorite bubble tea places! They make the mango green tea with the perfect amount of sweetness and the workers are always super nice. The location is also convenient which is a plus.

I go to Vivi's exclusively for their grapefruit green tea, and this visit was no different. They use actual grapefruit instead of syrup which is what other places use. The only downside is that this branch didn't seem to have as much grapefruit in it as the other branches I've been to! Also, $5 credit card minimum; I had to upgrade my drink because I had no cash on me to meet this minimum. Anyway, their other drinks (at least at the other branches) aren't so great, but the grapefruit green tea is good!
