Yelp
My boyfriend wanted to take me out to lunch and I wasn't sure where to go. I opened up my Yelp application and one of the first restaurants that popped up that I haven't been to was Wahoo's Fish Taco.
Wahoo's Fish Taco is located in the Centennial Plaza. You can get to this restaurant by going to the 95/Durango exit or 95/Ann exit. It's next to Ichi Ramen, and a few other local establishments.
Inside the restaurant, the ambiance is very relaxing and beach themed. My boyfriend and I were greeted with smiles from the restaurant team members. The restaurant inside was spotless! All of the tables were clean! The condiment station was well-kept as well.
The menu had a variety of different options from seafood, chicken meat selection, salads, beef, and a wide variety of tacos/enchiladas to choose from. We ended up selecting the following
-The 2 Taco Entree (Chicken, with the Citrus Slaw on the side) + a Drink
-The Baja Rolls
-Chips and Salsa
This restaurant has outside seating, which I love!! It was too windy to sit outside so we opted to sit inside. The chips and salsa came out first. The Salsa is kind of spicy, so if you don't like spicy food, I'd recommend staying away from the Salsa. Afterwards, the food came out.
The Entree came out with Beans, White Rice, and 2 chicken tacos with the Citrus Slaw on the side, however, there was a sauce on-top of the 2 chicken tacos. I typically don't eat mayo based sauces, so my boyfriend ended up eating the chicken tacos, which he did like a lot and would get again! The rice was good, soft and not over cooked.
The Baja Rolls were interesting. It's chopped chicken breast fried in a tortilla flour roll. It is cut up into multiple pieces. The inside has spinach and salsa. It's suppose to have cream cheese as well, but the Baja Rolls we were served barely had any. I couldn't really taste the cream cheese.
Overall, this is a great and quick restaurant to pick up food! The price was inexpensive and they do honor coupons if you have any.
