I visited with my adult children and it was so great to feel included in the fun. Our bartender Abby was engaging and helpful not just with with our order but for Houston information in general. I wish I could take her home to make my cocktails because she just made my night! My old fashion was excellent. Had just a great time visiting with her and people watching. Will be back on my next visit. Thank you!

I come to Houston 1-2 weeks per month and love to try different bars/restaurants every time. Hands down, this was the best experience of my life. Food was good, nothing crazy, drinks were delicious. Very standard. But what really set the experience apart was my bartender, Abby. Abby wasn’t just attentive and good at her job, she was GREAT! Being a solo-diner I love to have someone to chat with and Abby was exceptional. Very warm, funny, and engaging. What’s even more impressive? She was still able to manage keeping up with everything going on while keeping a smile on her face! I haven’t had a repeat yet, but i definitely will be back here for the outstanding service Abby provided.

I always love visiting Wakefield Crowbar when I’m in Houston! It’s such a young adult staple (especially the volleyball leagues), and the service is always exceptional. Specifically, Abby is amazing! I can always expect great conversation and great service when she is working, and I’m not the only one that receives this quality service. She is able to juggle multiple patrons and give each one the attentiveness and genuineness that we all look for in a server/bartender. I’m already excited for my next visit!

Booked this place for my wife’s birthday. We played volleyball for hours and had several drinks. We were also able to eat there since no one wanted to leave. The staff was friendly, the bartenders were nice, and the crowd was light. Which is a plus for me. Will come back for sure.

Joey was awesome when we came in the other day. He introduced himself and helped us with drink selections. Asked what we liked and made recommendations off of that. The atmosphere was great and all the waitstaff were friendly. Will definitely be back again.

We have visited this location not once, but twice in the past month, and we had a good experience each time. They have a newly updated menu and the most flavorful drinks. We enjoyed ourselves on the volleyball court, and later sat down to enjoy our food and drinks, and they did not disappoint. They have mimosa towers and different selections of drinks for everyone. The food was hot, fresh, juicy, and flavorful. The staff was kind and attentive, and the music and vibe were great as well. Overall, this is an ideal place for people of all ages and for events of all kinds. We will definitely be returning.

Crowbar was great, the same courts and entertainment hit the spot. I was especially impressed by the friendly service. Kourtney, our waitress, was awesome—super attentive, quick with our orders, and really added to the positive experience. She made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely the kind of service that makes you want to come back!

My son had a tournament in Houston so we wanted to find a place where the boys could play around and the parent’s could also have some adult fun, so a parent suggested this place. We have a similar concept in Lake Nona, Florida so it made sense! The food took awhile but it was amazing and the staff were very friendly and accommodating to our large party. I can see why the locals would love to hang out here! However, it’s not very out of town friendly for a weekend due to the fact they rent out the volleyball area and playground for private parties. So, it’s probably best to call ahead because if the areas are rented the party can ask your kids to leave, which sucks because the kid areas are what attract you to come there in the first place. Thankfully, my little girl was only kicked out of the playground area and some kids were kind and allowed her to play in the volleyball area with them. This was new to us because we have a similar concept here in Florida but everyone is allowed free use of the kid areas. But overall great experience and great customer service! Food takes awhile but it’s so worth it!

I've been coming to this bar for a while now and Chance is hands down one of the best bartenders I've ever encountered. He's always so nice, welcoming, and provides consistently great service. Whether I'm here for a quick drink or a night out, this is the place I come to all the time.

Was served by Mack on multiple occasions. The service was outstanding and I couldn't be more pleased with the food and drink. Definitely will be returning to Crowbar in the future. Really enjoyed my conversations with Mack and Dawn.

A friend and I recently decided to venture out to Wakefield Crowbar on a Thursday evening after a rainy day just to get out and about. We were able to find parking in the lot pretty easily as it was still early, but parking became a challenge for others as the night went on. When we entered the bar area, we walked up and decided to order two glasses of wine. I appreciated that unlike many other bars that offer you just a white or a red option... you could actually select the varietal you wanted here. As such, we went with two glasses of pinot grigio. Additionally, we ordered two salads which aren't typically bar food but we were trying to keep it light. The other menu items that came out though (like the burger) definitely looked and smelled fantastic. The bar tenders were friendly and the staff was nice all around. We took our drinks out to the bar area by the volleyball courts so we could socialize a bit more. When our food arrived, I was impressed with the freshness of the ingredients for a bar. The romaine lettuce was fresh and crisp, the onions sharp in flavor from being so ripe, etc. As for the chicken on the salad, it was a bit chewier than I'd like but still good as a protein option. As for the atmosphere... this place is fun! I love that they have volleyball courts, corn hold, pool and more. Every where you look... something is going on. Despite the courts being muddy messes, the volleyball games were still on and it was fun to watch! This is a great place to get out and socialize. I will absolutely revisit.

First time hanging out in this area of the heights/garden oaks! Very cool lineup on this road, but was pretty blown away by WF Crowbar! Decent size parking lot, super rustic feel but super high end sand volleyball courts (4) I think outside. The inside is cool as well, and they seem to host like work gatherings or meeting here a lot. (Big screen, private room) Great drinks, great vibes.

A friend invited me to brunch. I never been, and I loved it! The price was right, and they have specials on mimosas. It was a buffet, all you can eat, who can't turn that down? I posted a photo of the menu, so take a look. They have regulation sized sand volleyball courts that are available for league play, private reservations, and free play! They have corn hole, pool tables and and a couple of video games. They have a full kitchen. Head to the website to learn how to reserve spaces. For food - you can also order for pick up. Happy hour from 2-6pm M-F. They have a small playground for kids - so yes kid friendly. Leashed pets are allowed. This place has everything! Not to mention the staff was awesome!

The team at Wakefield Crowbar has been such an awesome host for the OSU-Houston group for the last few years. With the pandemic and being a "non" Texas school, it's been really hard finding a location to set up as our watch party location. Wakefield staff has been so kind and gracious to our group! Their food and drinks are delicious and not very expensive either. It makes me proud to see them grow to now have two locations! If you're able to support this local business, please do! I have been a long-time customer at Crowbar, and it's been my neighborhood haunt. What keeps me coming back is the bartenders. I've had the pleasure of being served by Lexx, and it's always an exceptional experience. She combines skill and charm effortlessly, and she's always happy to recommend something new. My personal drink of choice is whiskey on the rocks and she was quick to suggest their new big cubes! Lexx creates a welcoming atmosphere with her engaging personality. Genuine care for the customers. If you're at Crowbar, make sure to ask for her - for the great drinks and the company. Highly recommend!

I've been here twice now, and both times I've had the pleasure of being tended to by Kristen. Super friendly, great customer service and very funny. She gave us some food recommendations, everything we ordered was yum. Definitely will be back.

Lex is a rockstar and one of the best bartenders at Crowbar. This has been a neighborhood spot of mine for 10 years and I love feeling at home here. Joey, Miguel, Omid and staff have done a great job transforming this neighborhood spot into a safe and fun place for all! Support local!

I absolutely love this place!!! Chance the bartender was amazing!!! Drinks were good and he has a great personality! Also the food was well prepared and tastes great! And the overall hospitality was welcoming! I will be back!

I appreciate the feedback to my review. It was true and factual experience that I received as a customer. I'll add two stars for the response but again will reiterate that being told to drink water when I arrived and ignored by staff due to other drunk people we did not arrive with is not a way to treat a customer. Thank you for understanding but the staff should be more supported or feel okay to dismiss any patron that is too drunk to be there without including different parties in rude customer service.

Fun spot for family's to catch a game. Only downside is the outside doesn't accept cash and the play space is always booked for private parties. Food was pricey and hardly mediocre. I did appreciate the sand volley ball, live music, DJ ,and wash station outside. Would I come back? Probably not...

Wakefield Crowbar is the best for all sports watching but especially Minnesota Vikings Football!! Abby and Eryn are amazing and very attentive to the customers! I will definitely be back again! 10/10

Came to an event out here on August 8th and Abby was our bartender for the night. Couldn't have asked for better service, she made me a watermelon mule (11/10 recommend). Great time, cool atmosphere, delicious drinks and an awesome bartender, if I could give 6 stars I would

I found myself here to watch some football with some friends. I thought it was just another bar, but it was far from that. Parking wasn't a problem for me, but the lot isn't massive. I've heard about the bar with the volleyball courts, little did I know this was it. It is pretty impressive out there. It makes me want to get into volleyball! Customer service was great from the bartenders to the waitresses as well. Walking in, there is a big bar with plenty of seating. I skipped right past and went to the back area where all the sports was being watched. They have another bar back there. I was in a beer drinking mood and it seems like all the majority of the beer taps are in the big bar area. I liked the variety they provided. I just came from dinner, but my friends really liked the food here. It's a bit far from home, but I really enjoyed watching sports here. There was plenty of screens and the vibes were great. I would come back for sure!

Always a fun time! Daily specials are great, you can find something you like on that chalkboard. Lots to do, and you can bring your kids if you like. Kenzie and Abby behind the bar are amazing! Highly recommend.

I came to this establishment because of a company happy hour event. They had a few drinks on the menu but each drink was drastically different from the others. I got the Wyatt Earp and the pineapple flavor was really strong almost overpowering the alcohol taste. The eggrolls were crunchy but the filling wasn't the best. The boneless wings were my favorite! The outer layer was super crunchy and the chicken was very tender. The ranch really paired well with it. The corn tortillas were soggy and broke easily. The meat also had no flavor and the salsa wasn't helping. The mini corndogs were alright can't really go wrong with them. They had a lot of amenities like a pool table. There was music playing and lots of space. The bartender was very nice and efficient, the staff overall did a good job setting this event up.

My friends and I came here to play some sand volleyball on a Friday afternoon. We reserved online ahead of time for a court. There are 2 courts next to each other on one side and a court by itself on the other. You can buy a ball for $35 or rent for $10, but we brought our own. There is a walkway of tables in between the 2 sides where you can set your stuff and you can still watch it. The sand was really soft and they had high nets around just in case your ball goes high. It was a chill time! We did not have any issues checking in with the staff. It was a fun place to play sand volleyball for $25/hour. There is also water in some dispensers and a hose that you can use to wash off after you play.

Had some pizza and wings both were great ! The pizza bread was very good ! It was great to watch people gather there to play volleyball as well. The fans with the water misters was awesome made if feel very good in the heat ! The late night show was algo great !

Had a great time with the family here today. They had a kids egg hunt and free face painting for the kids. Mimosa tower beer tower and shot specials made the parents happy. The crawfish from crawfish a doodle outside was very flavorful and on point

We went here for Father's Day and had a pleasant surprise. Victoria, the bar tender, had great customer service and drinks. The ambiance is fun and is good for families if there is space outside. We had our 14 year old so we enjoyed the outdoor seating. Although it was super bout outside, the covers over the seating made it bearable. My husband and I ordered wings and they weren't the "wingettes" some one may be used to. They were tasty and served hot. Our daughter had the chicken sliders and she said they were "okay." She said she wouldn't order them again. Overall, we'd definitely go back as a family again but also as a spot for the adults.

I've been coming to Wakefield CrowBar for years - between the volleyball courts, bingo, trivia, and happy hour specials there's always something going on. They gave the place a facelift during the Covid shutdown, specifically the outside patio and inside bar area. They've also added new daily specials and activities. We recently went on a Tuesday night and had fun playing singo bingo. They also had specials on tequila, nachos and tacos (in addition to their regular happy hour). The biggest downside is parking, if you get there after 6:15 be ready to find a spot along the street somewhere. The weekends are even more difficult to park, since it seems like they often use half of their (already small) parking lot for vendors. So- give yourself plenty of time to find a spot or plan to take an Uber. The food is really good here too, my favorites are the sweet potato fries, Buffalo chicken sandwich, and most recently the loaded nachos ($6 on Tuesdays).

Food was good love the flatbread. Crawfish from cock a doddle do was excellent as well. Service was good very accommodating. Ambiance was excellent and fun! It's kinda different but very nice. We loved it

Bartenders, are horrible. Rude, slow, not attentive, they don't make eye contact and you feel like you are bothering them when asking for service. If you don't like your job why are they here!! FOOD was still half frozen!! It sucks that service and food are bad, because the music and ambiance is a pretty good vibe !!

Awful service and food! Served frozen egg rolls, took them back and they returned my half eaten egg roll and brought it back then we received burned pizza that they flipped over to cover up their mistake. Wow! Just horrible!
