"A major retail chain has launched a paid “InHome” membership that allows vetted delivery employees to enter customers’ homes to restock groceries. The service charges $19.95 per month plus a one-time $49.95 fee for a smart lock or smart garage door kit; deliveries are performed by couriers who wear body cameras and must have been company employees for at least a year and passed multiple background checks. Security features include single-use passcodes valid for a specific delivery window and locks that will only open if the deliverer’s body camera is recording and livestreaming. This young cashier named Jazmine is extremely rude and should NOT be in customer service. She was rushing me and my transaction, I did coinstar, she claimed she couldn’t cash in my ticket which she is wrong and I let her know that she can do that because I worked for Walmart in the past, she then rushed me, I was gonna pay for my items with my foodstamps on a seperate transaction; then she says “sorry too late” and used my cash I just made to pay for the items. She was rude to the lady infront of me, I should’ve changed lines when I seen that but I wasn’t sure if the lady and her just had a bad interaction…. I didn’t realize Jasmine would make mine bad as well…. lol. I hate going to this Walmart but I had to go because Publix coinstar was shut down.

I absolutely hate when I have to ask for help in the store because nine times out of 10. The employee is rude or makes excuses why they can’t help you today took the cake. I was looking for a product in lawn and garden I was not able to find it even though the app says that it is in stock when I went to ask the employee in lawn and garden he just pointed at the aisle it was in. I told him it was not there. I already looked, he turned his back on me and walked away . I did ask a nearby lady in a different department. She was nice enough to come over and help me to look for it. She did not see it and recommended that I asked the manager when I asked her to describe him to me. It was the same employee that had turned his back on me so she suggested that I go to customer service and ask them to go and locate it for me I decided that I will go look at Home Depot. From now on I will shop at Publix, I might pay more but my experience will be better and vegetables fresher.

Idk what they are doing to the store but the aisle signs definitely do not match what is actually in the aisle. I asked an employee for assistance and she said she was new and couldn’t help me. Ummm, I’m sure they asked you in your interview if a customer asked you a question that you didn’t know the answer to, what would you do? If you answered, tell them you are new and walk away, and they still hired you, shame on them. I try my best to support humans having jobs but the humans make it difficult for me to avoid self check out. I wasn’t greeted. So I asked the cashier if she greets the customer. She said sometimes. I was oh ok, I guess it wasn’t my day to be greeted. At the end of the transaction I guess she still didn’t feel like saying thank you. She just handed me my receipt, like here. The human interactions pisses me off. Clearly, big business just wants bodies if they treated their employees better I’m sure they would treat us better. However, if you don’t like the job you applied for, QUIT! Why make others miserable because you are miserable?

Yesterday made the third time in as many months that I have tried to shop at this store. And for the third time there was no handicapped cart available…which I need to shop. Two had bags over the steering column indicating they were broken. As I turned to leave the store, I asked the customer greeter to tell the manager that this was the third time there was no cart, and that I wouldn’t be back. Her reply: “FINE”.

They sell plenty of things but the store does not have as bright of lightening as Target . It is just too dark and depressing. The floors need to be replaced. We also could use friendlier people at the service desk for returns. They should not appear so intimidating and stern just because you make a small mistake or get confused about if they are addressing or speaking to another person. I get angry every I get chastised for not fully getting social cues. People need to learn how to be more patient and a lot kinder towards those on the spectrum . I am so sick of dealing with snobby people who have a bad attitude. Makes me not care to be on this planet much longer.

I'm sooooo happy to finally see my local Walmart receive a much needed renovation! I've complained about it for years considering the dumpy state our store has been in. That explains my not-so-stellar star rating. Now, it'll make shopping here just a little more pleasurable. In the meantime, navigating through the temporary aisles and uneven floors will be a different story. Because of the mistreated nature over the years, I've always been jealous going to other Walmarts in neighboring counties because they're all so much nicer! Literally every other one puts us to shame! So I will definitely welcome some much needed love after years of neglect and mismanagement. It's hard to miss what's going on from the outside with the section of parking lot near the garden center blocked off for shipping containers. Around the barrier is a tarp with concept art. I have to say, if the depiction is any indication, our store is going to be state of the art! At least, as close as it can be with all things considered. Hopefully once it's done, it'll stay nice for the long run! I don't want it turning into a shack again!

Worst Walmart experience ever! I felt attacked by an employee at the store as I was entering the store close to closing time to buy 1 item. She kept yelling at me to leave the store and when I didn't she kept yelling "I see you! I see you!" I felt threatened by her. This is not a way to treat customers! There are other Walmarts in the area that are friendlier and might be worth a 30 minute drive.

Please, somebody needs to train the cashiers to be friendly or at least have manners and show respect for others. Our cashier, Heni, could not make eye contact at all or even say hello after I greeted her and said hello. She chewed gum and made bubbles and exhibited and attitude that she hated her job and I was inconveniencing her. She put all the breakable porcelain items all together in a bag with no wrapping. I had to take them out and separate them in different bags so they wouldn't break and she continued to do this even after she saw what I was doing. No response at all from her when I said thank you and goodbye. Seriously, is this the best you can do for a cashier?

I went to speak with the manager. Had some issues with an item. I was told that she would call me. Never did. I tried to call Walmart. I called several different times. No one answers the phone. 2 days now. Still not answering the phone. When they say. I will call you. lol no they're not. Lieeee.

I was attempting to buy a tv stand too big for a shopping cart. I asked 4 different people for help each pointed to another person ( none cared) Finally went to customer service where I made contact with an associate that could even have cared less than the other 4. She said she needed to talk to the manager ( I was good with that) the associate knock on the office doo, no answer then again no response then again nothing. The associate then just went back to looking at her phone. I asked so what now? She replied she couldn't do anything without the manager . I asked so we need a manager to buy something that won't fit in a cart? She said she is the one that calls somebody to help. So what do we do when the manager won't answer the door? I left in amazement. This will be the last time I am ever in a Walmart

Worst Walmart I have ever been in!! I had hoped things would improve with a new manager but if anything it's worse. Always out of half of what I want, or they are there but can't be reached. Store employees are rude, and that's if they can even speak English. Can't ever try on clothes because the changing station is hardly ever staffed. Why can I get dozens of things at Sebastian Walmart that this store never carries? Also, Sebastian has towelettes for protecting against germs where this one doesn't care. I stopped using the pick-up even though I have bad back problems because they kept cancelling my order, or making me wait an hour. I wish I could afford to shop somewhere else, but my budget is tight. Would give 0 stars if I could.

At the customer service service desk person was late in the morning, when she appeared - first she start talking to someone .....14 min later I could return my stuff!!!!! Horrible customer service .... lazy and slow , careless PS whole store is dirty , in third world countries stores are cleaner!!!!!!! shame on you Walmart!!!!!!!

Regarding the grocery "pick-up" service - today it took one hour from the time I pulled in until I got my groceries. It was crowded, all the marked pick-up parking spaces were taken so I parked in an unmarked space. There is no way to give this information to WM in pick-up app. What's the procedure if customers have to park in an unmarked pickup space? No one knows because WM doesn't have a procedure. You have to fend for yourself and annoy every WM employee you see in the pick-up area.

If I could give zero as I score I most certainly would! The curbside pickup on numerous occasions has had me wait close to an hour. Once they never came out. I had them cancel because I never got my order. I cancelled the app however reinstalled to give another try. So I set up for delivery between 12-2 they said they couldn't deliver because my food got too warm and they rescheduled between 6-8 pm it's 8:00 pm now and I've called twice . Their excuse is the drivers can reschedule any and all deliveries as long as it's with 48 hrs or original set up time!What the hell is wrong with people?

They don't answer the customer service desk... even when I called corporate they couldn't get ahold of the store. They substitute everything without asking me. I have never had a pick up order ready on time. The only good people here are the kids who bring the pick up orders to your car. They are always so sweet meanwhile inside people are ***holes

I am not someone to post things like this But I want to share my experience at Walmart on 20th st 8-22-21 I bought a bisell vacuum, got home and unboxed it and it was completely used The Bristles were covered in some sort of animal hair, the cord was cut, cleaning chemicals that don't even belong to that brand inside the box, and the vacuumed was damaged over all I go back to Walmart and management tells me it's my fault that I didn't open the box, and check it- as they are all suppose to be brand new They offered $30 off a new one because money won't return to my card for another 2-3 days And they get pissy that I don't accept the offer Management goes back to talking on the phone and completely ignores the situation Doesn't even look in the box nothing didn't even care I did call corporate and explained the situation I'm so upset

I've given their delivery service the benefit of the doubt one too many times. Food delivery is usually always missing food. This morning I was missing all my cold and freezer items. Try calling to talk to anyone is a joke cause no one answers! Paying for convenience there is more of a headache.

Like most Walmarts, this location is sure to disappoint. Filthy, pallets of stuff everywhere!! Can Barely navigate the isles. It's extremely dangerous. And of course they're out of most everything on my list each and every time I go. Looks like they have more items on the pallets then they do on the shelves.

This is one of the worst Walmarts I've ever given my & to. The restrooms are horrendous and I feel for the employees who rely on them for their work day. The store is disgustingly gross and I'm surprised they pass basic health inspections. Aside from having to ring your own transactions always there are never enough registers day or night. I'm embarrassed that this establishment conducts business in our community and it is absolutely disgraceful the way they treat employees and their own staff. Generally speaking staff is mediocre but considering their working conditions I can't blame them. Customer service is less than and I have 100% had an awful experience with them on any transaction. Stop giving them your hard earned money; they are definitely not earning their $12 billion profits.

Placed a pickup order for 5-6pm. Got a text the order was ready at 4:45p. Arrived to the store at 5:20p & checked in. At 6:30p, still hadn't received my order. I had to literally CALL CORPORATE.. TWICE to get them to help me reach the store! Even THEY couldn't reach them! I had to get a refund & just move on with my day.. Beyond ridiculous!! The staff is rude when they do bring the orders anyways so.. if you shop Target or Publix, highly recommend you go that route. The few dollars in savings isn't worth waiting almost two hours for groceries that are ready before you arrive.. (Calling corporate was after having called the pickup line for the store, which went straight to voicemail. The operator of the store, no answer then hung up on me. Plus the grocery/pickup line through the stores number, also got hung up on. Plus my first call to corporate dropped while they were trying to reach the store so I had to repeat that process.) Only two cars had received their orders in that time, people who were there before me were still waiting as well. No associates to be found & clearly no sense of urgency or respect for others time. This review comes after a few times of me having a similar experience. Hate leaving bad reviews but seriously, this was mind blowing & I will never do it again.

Tire center is awful. I was told that they couldn't tell me if all 4 tires were bad without taking them off so I order two and tell them to do 4 if needed. They call me 1 hour later and say they need me to sign a disclaimer for bad tires. I said no, just replace all 4 like I said. An hour after that they call and say they couldn't get the lugs off 3 tires so they can't do the job. But I thought he said they couldn't tell me they were bad without taking them off. So they lied. They said they were bad but the truth is, they never took them off. No one in the entire cares. The service is continuously awful

Yes Walmart has better prices for the most part. You will need have plenty of time for check-out due to short staffing. They apparently need to make up for the change in minimum wage change. If you use self-check it is quite often slow due to people not savvy to using these computers

As of late, employees are just standing around talking. The online ordering is joke, the employees don't pickup the phone. The store is typically out of 40% of your order. Perhaps hiring just anyone isn't working out so great. I'd rather pay a couple dollars more and have better service and products plus not feeling as if you'll be mugged in the parking lot or your car broken into is a big plus!

Absolutely horrible experience with grocery delivery. Almost every single time there has been problems with my order, getting the wrong things, completely missing half my order, stuff like that. And then when I call to get it fixed, I always get the run around. This experience is the reason I cancelled my Walmart+. It's not worth the hassle if management can't make people do better.

Me, my mother, and grandmother went into this Walmart today and we were looking at the 50% off items. We decided to get some of these items from this section but the worker wouldn't honor them when they were CLEARLY with the 50% off items (mind you this is 3 days after Christmas). The worker insisted that random people just "dropped them into these buckets", but that wasn't the case because these red bucket were filled with the same items. This worker was extremely rude to us, and wouldn't even let us get a word out. I finally had enough of her quite literally screaming in my mother's face, so I said something about it myself. She didn't like that so she went to her AWFUL manger and told her the situation and the both of them then proceeded to say how they might "catch some charges today", and then pulled there sleeves up and started screaming towards us in front of everyone. I do not recommend going to this Walmart, these workers are trashy, they have awful customer service and terrible attitudes.

A manager should really take the time to sit down and inform "Avion" the aspects of her job as follows: - When customers walk up, you greet them / respond to their greeting. - You inform the customer of their total / when to insert their card, when to remove. - Spin the bag carousel around for customers to take their items. - My personal favorite: you don't scroll through your phone during the entire transaction. It's amazing how some people these days aren't even capable of the most beginner level jobs.

Whatever else you do, if you have purchased a Walmart+ membership, don't complain too much or give customer service a hard time, and don't cancel orders. If you do the above, Walmart + will break their contract and not deliver to you anymore. Let them cancel orders. I was taught that complaining turns off the flow of blessings, and that seems to have proved true with Walmart+. I'm getting memberships with Instacart for food stamps only and with Shipt, for paid orders, both more expensive, but more reliable.

I placed a curbside pick up order early this morning and 5 items were not in stock. Not surprising as I stopped in there Sunday afternoon to find a pill cutter (out of stock) and it was a living nightmare due to crowds and lines. Perhaps Vero Beach needs a second location or even a WalMart neighborhood market. Going to try another grocer but fear that all are the same due to the massive amount of shoppers.

Since the Walmart Store here in Vero is pathetic I thought I could beat the system by ordering my furniture ONLINE! NOT SO MUCH! For such a RICH organization they have a pathetic excuse for a website as I have put in my address along with apartment number and yet that does not show on the delivery side!!! WHAT! To make matters even worse, these brilliant people have shipped my table from SC to NC!!!! I live in Florida you dummies! This is the last straw! I am so fed up with this company's sorry story here in VERO BEACH (better one in Sebastian) that I will NEVER order anything online and my new place to shop will be Target! I am happy to pay a little more for people with GREAT customer service and their website is excellent and they can find my address!

Had just bought an RV and was buying supplies to make it livable. After spending almost 900.00 we were told we could not park there even though Walmart is on many apps allowing over night parking. We were just trying to get stuff out of bags and put away when 2 security guards where knocking at the door. Will not spend another dime there. No appreciation for their customers.

Never thought I'd see the day when Walmart introduced Valet Parking. I didn't like the way I was pulled from the car, plus they shouldn't speed away so quickly as there are always children crossing nearby. Covid 19 compliant however as the driver wore a full face mask. Nice touch.

Dr. Jekyll, meet Mr. Hyde. There are good times and there are bad times to visit this store. When you're shopping here at 10 pm at night (like I was on Valentine's Day) you're NOT going to have a particularly fun time of it. Long lines at the register... and screaming kids. Rather than wait behind a family with TWO SHOPPING CARTS filled with tons of merchandise in the express lane (go figger, right?), I decided to kick around the store for a few minutes and come back later. Yes, Virginia, that is the outer layer of H. E. double hockey sticks! Upon my return I made it through the checkout line without much muss or fuss. The next day I made a return trip to pick up other incidentals for our rental, and by that time the sulfur & brimstone had cleared. It was a Mr. Hyde day @ Walmart in Vero Beach. Quite pleasant for a change. Next time I visit this store, I'll carry a talisman or two to ward off the retail demons.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!! Yesterday I went to the auto department to have a simple tire mounting done. I spent 40 minutes waiting, only for them to tell me that they were unable to mount my tires due to the size. The inability to mount the tires is not the cause for this one star review. The tech who attempted to mount my tires did extensive damage to my wheels. There are several deep gauges in the center part of my wheel, and several other small spots of damage from mishandling. when informing me that he could not mount the tires, he did not make any mention of the damage he had done. I called the manager of the auto department to inform them of this damage, and they said they would investigate. I received a call the morning after informing me that my rims were damaged before. There was mild curb rash on the edge of the tire. But you can very clearly see that the damage is fresh, and not from curb rash. In addition to a damaged rim, I was spoken to as if I was a liar. And was very rudely told to "have a nice day". Nothing is being done. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!

What in the actual F@#k. Excuse my French. I come to pick up a fire pit in there lawn and garden section where there is zero employees by the way. Attempt to take one off off shelf and the entire top of the box is FULL of water and drenched me completely. My son gets an assistant and she looking at me like I have 3 heads and says I'll go get a manager. 20 minutes later the team lead Bonnie returns and says, " so all you have is a wet dress?" Are you kidding me? She then walks me over to customer service to wait even longer. So you have a team lead that can't resolve issues? Alissa the manager was a bitch. And asked if I want an incident report. Wth is that supposed to do. Her freaking look was smug and didn't help for shit. I wonder if I was white would she have treated me the same way. I'm contacting corporate.

Unbelievably bad. Went in for an oil change and wanted them to fix my flat tire. They stated that the tire was not repairable. It simply had a nail in it, so I bought a kit and fixed it myself. Took me ten minutes and has held up completely fine with no leaking air. Not only that, but fast forward 3 weeks and my car starts making ticking noises. I checked the oil and my dip stick came out completely clean. When I took it to the closest shop, they said that it was low by 3 qts, and the only explanation (after inspecting for leaks or burning oil) was that they simply did not put enough oil in my car. The cherry on top was the terrible customer service that I received. Should have known better than to go to Walmart. Unfortunately the easiest repairs in the world are too difficult for them.

I just came back from Walmart in Vero Beach Florida and felt so unsafe. There were many people shopping without masks and many store emplyees with no masks. How can you expect a shopper to act smartly when so many store employees are not taking precautions. I am a vulnerable immune compromised person that usually spends big bucks here, but will take my business to Publix from now on till this tragic time subsides. Publix's respects human life.

The absolute worst! Every single time I go into this store I swear it will never go inside again I don't care what I may need! A month or two passes and some how there I am! The employees are rude, you are waiting for assistance and they are talking joking or trying to hook up with another coworker totally ignoring customers. Go to customer service to obtain assistance well forget that the lines are three wide and two workers behind the counter one on their cell phone! REALLY!!! Walmart you have nothing I must have that bad.

Yeah, this is Wal-mart; I'm not expecting 5-star service or anything of the like, but I would appreciate more ample parking that isn't cramped with disabled parking, and an odd break separating the lot for drivers, making you have to "make a run for it" while passing from the back section to the front. This place also experiences periods of ridiculously long lines unlike any Super Wal-mart I've been to (I'm from Orlando and have lived in urban south Florida, too). I made a complaint however online after standing in line for a half hour. There were only two registers open to take care of over 30 customers waiting in line. I was thoroughly surprised to find that the store director gave me a call to 1.) apologize and 2.) help fix the problem. I've noticed shorter night-time lines, but occasionally I run into the super long lines. A+ for store director listening to criticism and properly responding D- for parking lot layout C for being able to get through a line in a normal period of time ...Obviously Wal-mart gets an A for pricing ;)

Horrible costumer service....Came an hour and half before they closed and the entertainment area was already closed, I went to costumer service and they told me nobody has the keys to take something that I need...I drove all the way from Port Saint Lucie for nothing...Avoid this Walmart.

So this is an update to my review which I wrote back in 2014. Now in 2016 I find myself on the other side; working for WalMart. Reading every review about this place has me on the fence. For every problem that has a complaint, I found out that it is a two way street. Starting off with customer service, on the customer side, we complain about there not being enough cashiers, associates being rude and Walmart being trashed and disgusting. Customer service should be a priority however, respect should be too. Associates shouldn't ignore customers asking for help and customers shouldn't be rude to cashiers who are doing their best to help. You wonder why associates sometimes ignore customers asking for help and there really is no excuse but when an associate is on lunch, they can not help a customer due to Walmart policy of liability coverage. Yes, we can point you to another associate but if there isn't one there, there isn't anything we can do. Customers complaints about not having enough cashiers is reasonable due to understanding and this is a two way street. We do have cashiers but they aren't being scheduled correctly and when they are, they are being pulled to other departments to help. Cashiers also have breaks and lunches which they deserve after dealing with high volume customers all day and yet customers seem to not understand this and get angry with cashiers for not being on a register. If you see associates in the break room "sitting on their ass doing nothing" it's because they are on break or lunch so leave them alone. Walmart not being clean and trashy. Also another reason for it seeming that we don't have enough people is because we are behind the scenes constantly picking up the unwanted items that customers leave in the wrong places such as putting a steak in the clothes section. That is pure laziness and a waste of food. Management is a whole different story that I'd rather not spend the rest of my day talking about. A lot of this stores issues can be solved if we all work together. It's just a matter of who cares.

One of the most horrible stores I have ever been to. As a night owl, I hate that this is the only 24 hour store in Vero. Most of the time I prefer to just wait until morning for something else to open. This store is always dirty with dirty employees. The employees are rude as ever and they always manage to keep EVERY aisle blocked off and impossible to maneuver a cart through while stocking. It is a huge inconvenience to the customers and I always have to wait a ridiculous amount of time just purchase something. I would advise to shop at another store if at all possible.

If possible, avoid this Walmart in Vero. The staff I have encountered are very unfriendly. One employee got mad and started venting because people were asking her too many questions. The pharmacy is very disorganized. If you are seeking the Walmart discount prescriptions, go to the Walmart in Sebastian. They are incredibly friendly.

I heard most walmart employees were rude and not helpful... we had 2 bikes shipped to store and Jill was so helpful in getting the bike to and in the car!!! someone should tell Jill's boss how nice and helpful she was...the only reason we are writing this review...thanks Jill

Low prices but your going to wait in line for a long freaking time. They only keep a handful of lines open and their are associates walking around, even cleaning or stocking near registers but they can't get on them. Last Saturday I had a 45 min checkout!!!

Hey, guys, it's a Walmart. Don't expect Tiffany's. Yes, the service sucks and there are never enough people to help or check you out. But why do you keep​ shopping there? Because the prices are LOW! If you go just knowing what to expect, you won't be disappointed. And if you don't like it, buy your food at Publix.

It's two days after Christmas and the parking lot's jammed. What to do? Park between Wal-Mart and Sam's Club and walk into the tire shop on the side of Wal-Mart. You'll be as close to the store as you'll ever be without a disabled person in your car, and you'll avoid the displays at the front that are designed to hypnotize you into saving hundreds of dollars you can't afford to save.
