Wendy's

Ordered on the app and arrived on time. Order took twice as long as stated to be ready. Their soda machine only had Coke, and the one behind the counter had no diet options. Employee offered me water. I asked for my money back, but they refused. Fries were upside down in the bag. Ordered regular nuggets, but received spicy. Restroom was out of order. Go across the street to Popeye’s — it’s more expensive, but it’s functional.

I try my absolute best to stay away from this Wendy’s on Chestnut off 15th, and every time I ignore my better judgment, I regret it. This location is consistently awful. First off, the food. I was served undercooked, borderline raw food, which is completely unacceptable. When I brought it up, they refused to issue a refund. So not only is the food unsafe, but the customer service is nonexistent. Second, the wait times are insane. You’re looking at 20+ minutes for something as simple as a burger or fries. I can’t even imagine how disastrous this place would be if it had a drive-thru — it would be absolute chaos. This location clearly needs a full reset: new crew, new management, or a new director entirely. There’s no reason a restaurant should still be operating when it can’t provide basic food quality or customer service. Save yourself the frustration and go literally anywhere else

Avoid at all costs. One of the worst run fast food spots in the city, and always has been. Every year I give it another shot, and every time they either botch the order completely, or you wait 30 mins to get it. The food is fine, but it's not worth the hassle.

Corporate needs to send this location some serious help. Took over 20 minutes for my order, staff was hanging out and talking and they were not busy. Hands down the dirtiest fast food place I've ever seen - the trash hadn't been taken out that day and the cans were literally under a mountain of Wendy's bags. It left an impression on me that has me second guessing going to Wendy's again.

One of the few places in the Rittenhouse Square neighborhood where you can have a decent meal at an affordable cost. The service is decent. I love the breakfast meals, but coffee isn't great. The restaurant often has a lot of trash lying around, but that's not entirely the management's fault.

Would give this place a 0 stars if I could... worst service I have ever seen at a fast food location... never order food in person or in an app ever. We have had more issues with this location than I can count and we will not be ordering from here ever again...

Took 30 minutes from the time I walked in till I got my food. Staff was rude to everyone. Dining area and kitchen were dirty. Another patron told me he saw a rodent after I started eating my food.

Do not order door dash from here. I had a $30 order and received $10 worth of food. Horrible. When I contacted the store the manager made it seem as if Door dash ate my food. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!

We ordered French fries. Tased good . Services is very good . I loved it and recommended.

Excellent service. Staff is extremely helpful. I had a large order. They. Asked up the order well and was easy to give to my students. The vibe was high energy defined good in center city. I am happy I came here I felt valued as a customer.

I love this spot. I never have to wait. Everyone is super nice and it's open late enough so that I can grab a bite on my way home from work

Never had a bad experience here. I usually see Vivian at the counter when I order, and she's always lovely. Also, she works harder than I think she should have to. As someone who works at Starbucks, I know what that's like. All this to say: I like this location and Vivian deserves a raise!

I was very unsatisfied with the customer service with Wendy's at 50% more my food was cold from the beginning they was very ignorant and I didn't like it I don't know what this world is coming to today

I ordered at 1:27, expecting to get it in about 15 minutes at the most. I wait until 2:00, and ask if it is about to be ready, because I had to be somewhere else by 2:15. I asked them where it was and showed them a receipt, and they said they had no order under my name. Not only this, but they were completely out of beef before 2 pm. After waiting over 35 minutes for my order they still gave me the wrong chicken sandwich.

I've never write a review, but this place is just a full mess. Food was really bad, chicken no cooked enough. Service is the worst part of the this place, I came in wanting to place an order and one of the many teenagers working there was fighting with a customer, idk what they were fighting about but I can tell the customer was just calm trying to explain this girl that he never try to disrespect her in any way. Long story short, this place need to take action on what's actually happening in this location. I have experience in restaurant management and trust me when I say, this is the worst Wendy's location in PA!

What a step up, it was such a nightmare on esrth for a while I couldnt even rate it until now!!! It honestly WAS the WORSE Wendy's ever from slippery floors to moody employees to toxic crowds which they had to cater to and slow ordering. There were times I did not get my order and they didnt even give my money back and it wad a nightmare. I ended up not getting my salad which showed on my reciept and ordered but they ran out. Instead the Wendy's employee told me they could not refund me nor exchange it with anything else even though THEY were the one out of the salad and charged me. This literally was not the case this time!!! Everyone was moving at a good speed and very polite. There was a cop in the store this time that patrols which makes me feel much safer too. There was no flies bussing around the drink area. It's crazy to think how much has changed. The floors was clean even on a Friday night, not sticky or slippery. The it's too bad I'm so addicted to their fries and nuggets, it's always so freash and crispy it's so good! Some days I order and I wait 15minutes for FRIES but this time took a record of 2minutes. Bravo. I love a good come back story.

They do keep it clean here! Ordering on the app or virtually is a nightmare. Walking in when it's not too busy might be better..

Been waiting 45 minutes, with no mention of order being ready soon (was busy when I got here but not anymore). The only reason I'm still here is because I already paid. Not coming back. Update: they kept my receipt but did not make My order until I went behind the counter and asked. Took very long even still, and the food tasted like trash.

Finding places to grab some food with curfews, pandemic, and peaceful protests all at the same time is quite the challenge, but I must say that Wendy's is managing VERY WELL. Wendy's has done a FANTASTIC job of adjusting to the pandemic's restrictions by enforcing safety precautions throughout its restaurant. The co-workers were super polite despite the stress and it was very clear how to navigate the restaurant in a safe manner. The food was prepared quickly and was fantastic! I have to say that I have never had such amazing spicy chicken nuggets before from a fast-food restaurant. SO worth the try if you have never had them from here!!

the floor was sticky, the service was eh. One time one of the crew members literally gave me a dirty cup to fill my drink.

While ordering online is quick, easy, and provides a plethora of customization, actually going to the restaurant is absurdly atrocious. The food is fine as well, but man are the actual store and its employees dirty and incompetent respectively. When you order online, there's a tiny area by the kitchen door where you have to stand. It's right in front of a disgusting trashcan. There's always some sticky liquid in front of the soda dispensers and the first dispenser is always out of order. Makes walking in the restaurant so irritating and hazardous. It also stinks all of the time in there. There's always only one person that runs the register at a time making the line slow as all get out and on top of that, all of the staff and miserable and disrespectful. You have to tell them that you have a mobile order even though they clearly see you walk in and pass the line and obviously have not seen you that day. But fine, whatever. Today, I ordered online and told the guy running the register. He told me to hold on. A couple minutes later, my name was called, but that was someone else's order with the same name. At this point, the guy who was giving out orders told me that I had to tell them I had a mobile order which, is just dumb as you are serving the customer so you should ask what they need, especially since there is a sign that says "Mobile orders" right above the people that stand there. Anyway, he gives me my food and I tell him that I did tell the guy at the register, but he never said anything to let anyone know what I was here for. He kept reiterating the fact that I needed to tell them that I was picking up a mobile order without them addressing me first. To which I responded and told him that I had told the cashier but was told to wait. Obviously they don't care. He just ignored me and walked back into the kitchen and started laughing as if I'm the one in the wrong. Go here if you want to be disrespected. Of course it's be people like this that work here lol

Waited over an hour for my Grubhub pickup order. Slowest Wendy's I've been to in my life.

I don't normally leave reviews; though I do read them. But I have to speak to the fact that I recently visited this location while in town with my family. I used to Wendy's app to place an order for 1 sandwich, 2 orders of nuggets, and 2 fries at approx 12:40pm EST. I selected a pick-up time of 12:50pm, which was an option, and it worked because I was at a retail store checking out a couple of blocks away. I arrived at the Wendy's at 12:51pm to a chaotic scene of several people waiting in line to order, some off to the side waiting on their orders, and others sitting at tables many waiting for their orders. Their were multiple workers attending to the guests from different points. At approx 1:00pm, a young male worker came to the side door and asked out loud, "If there are any other mobile orders?" I raised my hand and approached him to confirm my order. He asked my name, and I showed him on my receipt. He just said "okay" and went back in. I assumed that meant my order, which was already a little late, but nothing crazy. That did not happen. I proceeded to wait while observing people who were either there before me, and those who I saw ordering after I had already been waiting get their food and leave. Finally, after waiting patiently for approx 30 minutes until around 1:20pm so I approached the counter, as I had seen some others do, so I could ask another employee about my order that same male employee who was at a register tendind to new customers turned to me and told me I had to "wait over there." That to me was completely unacceptable and unprofessional considering 20 minutes earlier that same person had engaged me about my order without so much as giving me any sense of whether he was going to be accommodating my order or giving me a time frame; nothing! I just grabbed the stroller that had my daughter and left at that point. I don't know how it normally is at this location; but this to me is the worst experience I've had in a fast food establishment. I'm normally a big fan of Wendy's more so than the other big 2 franchises. This was a very bad representation of the already not-so-high expectations one should have at such establishments.

They just cancel delivery app orders on the regular because they're lazy and don't give a single solitary shit. Three nights in a row they cancelled a 3 item order because they "couldn't get to it". So I went and walked past after the third time and they're not even a little bit busy. Wtf. Fire everyone who works here.

I put my order for a breakfast croissant with sausage through the Wendy's app a good 15 minutes before my arrival at the store. The lone counter person informed me that the system just received it. When I reminded him that I had a coupon for a $2 breakfast sandwich, he just pushed it towards me and informed me that the coupon was only valid for walk-in customers. I was stunned.

Ended up here because the Starbucks around the block was packed. It was better here than I previously remember years ago... plus they had 70s 80s music playing instead of horrid pop like most places have,though there's always that one guy who got his mobile out playing tappy crap;

If you don't mind sticky slimy booths and floors or strange odors this is your place. The owners should be ashamed of this store. Horrible, just horrible

The staff was high as hell and actually YELLING at the customers for no reason. I saw my order sitting there ready and they wouldn't give me it.

Now this place is one of the worst fast food experience that I have ever had, I stood in a very very I will say again a very long line, close towards the drink machines. I ordered a chicken sandwich fries and a drink. Now I'm not sure about their process but it took a while for my food to come out, not only that their customer service here sucks. Seems all of the people at the registers had an attitude, I understand that the long lines was long before I came, I get it. but if you cant give a good customer experience with a smile, you might need to find a job where people don't have to look at your face. I won't be back to this location

Don't go to the location at 1515 Chestnut St. in Philadelphia. The guy behind the counter in the morning is horrible. Horrible customer service, slow, bad attitude, and can't get the orders right. One lady was complaining about the service one time...and he said whatever. He needs to go! I did a mobile order for breakfast one morning, and he still screwed it up. I ordered 3 combos that come with seasoned potatoes, and one extra seasoned potato for somebody who didn't want a combo. We showed him the receipt, and he was denying we ordered 4. It clearly states on the receipt there should be 4, and we even had an extra $1.89 charge for it. He argued we were wrong...but I don't think his eyes were working too well (literally). This wasn't the first time we had a problem there...or items missing. My co-workers and I banned going there for a while...decided to give it another shot...and nothing changed. A few mornings, they didn't even have any coffee! That is crazy! Luckily they are right next door to a Dunkin Donuts. They need to put someone more delightful behind the counter in the morning. I'm gonna tell everybody I know not to go to that location unless something changes.

I am overly ecstatic about my experience. My order came through on time great attitudes etc. But when I opened my bag... I got a kid's toy that is not what I asked for. I'm very disappointed that the staff didn't check the bag thoroughly. I don't have kids, better yet I could have been hurt by that toy. Wendy's do better ) :

They said they cannot find my order and refused to make it. Showed them receipt and credit card charge.

Order 2 large fries for 1$ each and two jr cheese burgers. Fries came burnt but the manager replaced them with fresh fries no problem. Both burgers where under done however once again manager stepped in and gave me two fresh chicken sandwiches that where perfect. Free refills on soda is always a plus Huge tv on ESPN was the highlight of my visit will be back just not for burgers. Not the cleanest Wendy's (they are extremely busy) clean enough that I ate in the restaurant. Great for children and quick meals

Avoid this location. Wendy's is what it is. Staff here does not care about any thing. 3 visits before this review. Today told a breakfast promo 2 for 4$ biscuits was over. Signs are one all door s for this promo. Bradley ran.

This place is always crowded. But that is because of the location. I will say that the staff here has always been nice to me. They do their best to get orders out quickly, but the popularity of this place makes that almost impossible. 4 for 4 is the best deal. And download the app...a lot of deal available also.

I ordered a chicken Caesar salad from Wendy's and when I looked at the chicken it was raw. This place needs to close down.

Ordered food last night via door dash. Door dash did their job but the food from Wendy's was a failure. Ordered cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, mayo, ketchup, and onion. I received a cheeseburger with ketchup and onion. Baked potato was old and cold. No butter or sour cream which I ordered....threw both out...horrible!!!!

Terrible. They need to get back to the drawing board. Don't be surprised if it takes you a half hour to get your order. In a high demand area like this it's a shame how long they've been this way.

When I was there yesterday it was pretty much dead. The line was not too long, but the service could use improvement. Overall the area is clean and I haven't yet gone down to the basement seating area. I didn't eat the food, my bf did. So can't say much about that.

This place is a joke. Workers Are so lazy here that they make the delivery guys for grub hub / Uber eats etc actually prepare the drinks and package everything whether there's 0 customers or not. Who tf knows what these ppl have on their hands yet they can stick their fingers in my drink ....?

This Place always look a mess. Trash and drink spills everywhere, Customer Service is horrible and they have Roaches!! And the employees don't even seem to care that they are noticeable. How disgusting !! Will not recommend. This store needs to be shut down !

They don't listen. They give you what they want to give you and the phone doesn't work. I ordered regular nuggets and they gave me spicy nuggets. The fries are soggy and cold and the drink is watered down. I absolutely do not recommend this Wendy's to ANYONE!

great value in S philly at 24th st shopping center the BIGGIE bag meal under $6 a cut above any MC d's meals CENTER CITY no way do i drive there wind up gettng a 76$ parking ticket if meter mal functions

Straight up rough. It's like a fucking block party in there! The staff needs to understand that they are working in a professional environment -- that goes with their hygiene and their speech. Me thinks I won't be going back there anytime soon - I rather starve on my break than to go there.

The only reason why this place gets a 1 star is because I have to select one... I feel embarrassed just writing a review for this place but it should be excluded because it's a chain and it's fast food. Horrible doesn't begin to describe how terrible this place is. 1. The staff is terrible, did they go to a local high school and just pick at random who works there? Sure seems like it. The males behind the counter are too busy checking out every single female that walks through the door OR too busy flirting with the cashiers. The females are too busy chit chatting with everyone that works there and can't take your order until THEY are done with their conversation. 2. I've been here twice, I didn't get anything but went with my boyfriend. He got a frosty... it literally took us OVER 20 minutes to get it. I don't care if there are other people waiting for food, make a frosty... it should NOT take that long, stop talking and do your job. The second time he wanted a sandwich, grilled chicken... it took the cashier/cooks about 15 minutes to let him know they didn't have chicken... uhm, wow, thank you? 3. It's always crowded, loud, filled with obnoxious high school kids who can't say excuse me or are just completely rude. There is no reason why any one should ever step foot in this place... I don't understand why it's still open.

Many things I can overlook, but horrible customer service is not one of them. Managers need to better train their staff on proper service etiquette. Cause this ain't the way business is handled. If i don't throw my money at you, then don't throw my bag of food on the counter.

Yuck. I don't really like fast food anyway - and Wendy's is barely tolerable, but this location (a busy one due to location for sure) is pretty awful. Not a good choice.

Don't get me wrong I enjoy Fast Food every once in awhile and I think wendy's chicken nuggets are the best of the big fast food chain but I would avoid this particular Wendy's at all costs. Everyone in this establishment looks miserable, from the workers to the people just waiting for their food. This must be where happiness comes to die. The scene in here is always interesting to say the least. On any given night you will have people passed out at the tables, yelling, altercations, or any other nonsense you could possibly dream up. The lines move slow, and the food isn't too "fast" but its your standard Wendys food. You will have to put up with a good amount of nonsense though to get it.

I want to enjoy Wendy's, I often think of it as my favorite fast food chain. In spite of this, the 15th St one has a way of wanting to be avoided. They say open til 1 or later, but I've been locked out early before. So their late night operation is apparently hit or miss. The clientele here is very young, loud and obnoxious, and so messy that the establishment has taken to blocking off areas of the seating so that they stay clean enough for the next shift. You don't have to do that, at most other places. But this one is notoriously messy anyway, and I'm not sure I'd be willing to revisit this when a real good burger place, Five Guys, is less than a block away and open daily from 11a-10p.
