I recently visited Where's the Scoop in Alpharetta, and let me tell you, it was a charming spot with ice cream to match! The atmosphere was definitely cute, perfect for a sweet treat outing. Now, onto the important part: the ice cream! I opted for the key lime flavor, and it was absolutely delicious. It had a perfect balance of tart and sweet, exactly what you'd hope for in a key lime dessert. My friend went with the lavender berry, and they were equally impressed. The unique floral notes of the lavender blended beautifully with the sweetness of the berries. Where's the Scoop is a great place to satisfy your sweet tooth in Alpharetta. They offer unique and delicious flavors, all made with fresh ingredients. If you're looking for a cute spot to grab some tasty ice cream, I highly recommend checking them out!

Google
Fantastic spot! The ice cream flavors are rich and the ice cream rolls are fun to watch and delicious to eat. Their boba tea is spot-on, with fresh, chewy pearls and customizable sweetness. The place has a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommend checking it out for a sweet treat!

Google
Very impressed with the staff this evening. I have a food allergy and am never able to order from places like this (I don’t want to be a pain). My daughter encouraged me to, as we come here at least 2 time a week. The staff was extra careful and did a really great job while they were extremely busy! Kudos and I got to feel normal eating fun ice cream with my kiddo!

Google
This place offers a delightful experience with their rolled ice cream creations. The taste is exceptional, with a perfect balance of creaminess and flavor in every bite. The extensive range of flavors and toppings caters to diverse preferences, ensuring there's something for everyone. Notably, they excellent in providing diet-conscious options, making it a guilt-free treat for those mindful of their choices. Overall, Where's The Scoop? combines taste, variety, and health-conscious offerings, making it a standout destination for rolled ice cream enthusiasts.

"I tried the Chocolate Wasted ice cream at Where's The Scoop? and it was amazing! The flavors are diverse and delicious, providing something for everyone. Absolutely worth checking out!"

Google
Beautiful place, amazing location. Absolutely gorgeous. Would have for sure given five stars, but when you pay over $5 for a bubble tea, the the cup is packed to the top with larger ice cubes, leaving little room for the actual product you’re paying for, you don’t deserve five. Also, they were out of bubble tea straws (which we were told after placing the order), so they offered my child a $6 reusable one for purchase. Other than that turn off, the rest was absolutely perfection. So awesome to see the process of rolled ice cream. Great variety of flavors and add ins. Location could not be better.

Google
I’m not an ice cream person. But decided to go in because there was such a long line, look like it was popular. I have to say the whole coleslaw thing is delicious. The ice cream the flavors it all taste homemade. Love the little designs curling thing they do in the cup. I can’t remember what flavors I had but I had multiple ones in my cups. The place is very clean lots of open spaces open tables handicap accessible. Handicap parking plenty of other parking off the main street as well as parking lot. Would I go here again, yes!!

Google
I really liked it, the ice cream was delicious. And the menu they had was good. When we arrived, we saw many people lining up before us, but the ordering was very quick, except that we needed to wait for about 15-20 minutes for 4 ice creams. It was worth it, because the ice cream had great presentation and great flavor. We look forward to going back there.

Yelp
We ordered chicken and fries. Both were outstanding. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I will return.

Isabella Li L.

Yelp
The House Milk Tea was way too sweet, we ordered regular ice but the sweetness made us want to vomit during the first few sips, you could feel the sweetness going down your throat with that disgusting feeling, the tapioca balls were very nice I enjoyed them. Threw the whole thing away after picking out the tapioca balls, couldn't bare to drink anymore of it, I could literally feel I was going to get diabetes.

Yelp
Down town Alpharetta has a couple of ice cream places and this is one of them. Here they make the ice cream in front of you... mixing it up with flavors, spreading it out on a cold stone, then scraping it up into rolls and putting it in a cup. Parking kinda sucks down in this area of Alpharetta as a whole. Not just for this location but all over. It was late though and we found a spot. My kids got ice cream... my youngest got cookies and cream and my oldest got vanilla. They liked it. It is a cool little spot and it is fun to watch then make it up. The flavors are limited, the location is smallish, and the teens behind the counter were not really interested in the whole customer experience. It was late though and I think we walked in just before closing... so I'll give them a pass. They are just kids. They got it all done and my kids liked it... so that is what matters.

Debbie C.

Yelp
I love going to Where the Scoop for their rolled ice cream. It starts as a liquid they freeze it and roll it I love lMkngo with whip cream and white kisses on it They also have bubble teA!

E M.

Yelp
They have a wide selection of ice cream flavors, coffees and teas. Unfortunately, we came just for coffee and were told they were out.

Tamika L.

Yelp
It's about 95° outside. So of course I need ice cream. I saw this place as i was looking for parking in downtown Alpharetta. Once I parked, I was pleasantly surprised by the cozy, yet modern design. It doesn't immediately scream "ice cream shop " but certainly makes you want to sit and stay a while. It's small but ha perfectly placed benches and tables to accommodate a small crowd. We were greeted immediately and after taking some time to look over the menu decided on 2 of the vegan options. My selection was delicious, one of the best I've had in quite a while. We sat and enjoyed our ice cream and noticed that everyone received a warm welcome and thanks. It was a pleasant stop and delicious vegan ice cream.

Manuel M.

Yelp
A friend of our daughter works here so we decided to give it a try after lunch, ice cream was great, it was great to see all these teenagers working hard giving great service to customers, if in downtown Alpharetta definitely worth a try

Surya M.

Yelp
Great location and good service!! Will come again for sure. Red velvet was yummy. Bubble tea is good. Ample space for seating with nice ambience

Elle B.

Yelp
I would give this zero stars but I can't. They were very unfriendly and never was a smile shown to a customer. The girl at the register after we paid just walked away and didn't say anything. The music was not great especially for an ice cream parlor. The service was terrible and so slow. I get having a fun time at work but you should also do your job. It took 30 mins for me to get my ice cream and another 10 mins (which I had finished mine) for my Dads to come out. The ice cream was ok but the whipped cream on it was warm which was gross. In all, this place has terrible management and a very unorganized system. None of the ice cream came out together for groups and even people behind got theirs before us. It was very upsetting. I believe this place could do well with good management, organization, and a service seminar. I have worked in customer service for years now and this was beyond sad!

Yesenia B.

Yelp
Where's the scoop? More like where's the customer service. The place supposedly closes at 9:00pm but on a whim decided to close at 8:45 with customers literally waiting outside to enter and they closed the door in their face . I understand that maybe to finish all the orders you may run after 9. However they could ask everyone to collect the order and leave. Not leave half a party of customers outside waiting on everyone else with the poor excuse that orders would run until 9:30 It's a glorified Coldstone with a preset menu-it's not brain surgery- they should be able to handle 5 more orders All our party was out by 9:05pm Super rude and overrated - Go to Kilwins Also no trash cans outside To kick us out and have no trash cans - do you want us to litter ?

Diamond Joe Q.

Yelp
Beautiful Saturday afternoon, high foot traffic, yet ownership left two young kids to fend for themselves. Decent ice cream. Not worth a 40 minute wait.

Eddy H.

Yelp
Here's a somewhat hidden gem in the downtown Alpharetta area. Tucked away behind Smoke Jacks BBQ and Taffer's Tavern, this place offers a number of unique flavor combinations hand mixed and rolled in front of you. I decided to try the Banana Puddin' ice cream. It was fun watching the mixologist create the ice cream rolls from scratch. It was even better tasting the ice cream. My ice cream tasted just like banana pudding with the classic banana, Nilla wafers and whipped cream flavors. It's definitely worth it to get the larger regular size. I'm sure I'll be back and bring my family.

Jessica O.

Yelp
If you are in downtown alpharetta, do not miss out on this place!! The ice cream cups look deceivingly small, as well as the cool process of watching it be frozen and rolled in your eyes--it doesn't LOOK like a lot until you start eating... then you realize it's a lot! Not only that, the naturally sweet ingredients J.C. (the owner) pushes for in her recipes are SO DELICIOUS! Not too sweet, doesn't leave you feeling groggy, but gives you the great satisfaction of a great cup if ice cream!! I got the Coco crumble; it's a beautiful mix of chocolate and coconut topped with strawberries... a girl's dream come true!! Even my mom loved this ice cream, and she's very particular. If my mom likes it, then it's a really special place. JC is a lovely woman and took time to chat with me and my mom. She's running a lovely business, and we can't wait to stop by again! PLEASE stop by this place and treat yourself! JC will take great care of you!

Leslie H.

Yelp
I loved it! Great place and the rolled ice cream was amazing. The perfect walk across the street to listen to some music while taking it easy on a park bench.

Nathan L.

Yelp
Terrible customer service Waited nearly an hour for the ice cream Ice cream tasted watered down Will not be returning

Angelina P.

Yelp
Ambiance...service slow, employees not friendly, atmosphere was not inviting. Food was yummy.

Cara E.

Yelp
A friend took me to Where's The Scoop as part of a surprise day, and I was really excited when we got there because I hadn't yet tried the infamous rolled ice cream! This was also my first time in downtown Alpharetta, and I was so impressed with this adorable area of town. The shop is nice and clean, with simple but cute decorations. They have some indoor and outdoor seating available. They also have a good amount of parking around them, which is nice! They have so many flavor and topping combinations, both on menu and build your own! It was so hard to decide, but I went with my old faithful flavor combination of Oreos and cookie dough, and it was SO GOOD. I'm also really impressed that they source their milk from Georgia. I highly recommend visiting Where's The Scoop for a fun and refreshing take on a classic treat!

Bijal P.

Yelp
We waited 20 mins in line and after being inside, they didn't take our order because it was 9 before they got to us. Bad business practice. Will not visit again, even if the ice cream is good. We had 4 and 6 year old kids wanted ice cream and they still wouldn't take our order.

Mhailene M.

Yelp
I'm so happy they opened a second location in Alpharetta!! The other location is in Roswell and I also enjoyed that one too. I came and got the salty sailor and it was delicious!! WTS is a little icecream shop that also serves bubble tea. You pick your choice and they make rolled ice cream for you with toppings. The icecream was so creamy and just the perfect amount of sweetness to me. I loved the topping choices. Since the restaurant is fairly new, it is pretty clean and inviting. There's a few chairs to sit and eat but it seems most have taken it to go. The service is so nice and fast. They answered all my questions and gave me time to decide on my order since there's so many to choose from. This restaurant is just off the main strip of the busy area and easier to find a parking space versus parking down town and then walking.

Chantell S.

Yelp
I have been coming here for the past 2 years, after the new ownership the quality and customer service went out the window. Downtown Alpharetta has always been our go to for bubble tea but as of lately the customer service is not the same and the management team just seems lost when I come in. Not to mention

Anastasia A.

Yelp
Excellent coffees, try the lavender lattes and bubble teas. Great service and they support the community!

Steve V.

Yelp
PRO TIP: This place is closed on Mondays...found that out the hard way. We obviously came back another day and loved this fairly new addition to downtown Alpharetta. We were able to park right in front of the place on a weeknight. The space is new and has a modern farmhouse vibe. The line loops around and you order and pay first, then continue down the line to watch your creation made in front of your eyes. The menu has other things on it beside rolled ice cream. There are milk tea, coffee, and boba drinks. The ice cream has pre-made combinations, or you can create your own. The prices are not bad for a trendy concept in a trendy area. The ice cream is good and tastes natural. There was no issue finding a table either inside or outside.

Sheena S.

Yelp
I originally tried Where's the Scoop in John's Creek via a Yelp event. It seemed great, and the owners were just beginning, so they were still humble. I then went to the Alpharetta location over the summer. One lady, and the place was busy. She couldn't handle it and to no fault of hers. I assumed she called the owner because he came in. He was not the same humble and kind boy that started in John's Creek. In my opinion, it seems the success of the business has removed his humble customer service. Nonetheless, we didn't hold the hour long experience against them. I went back again last week, and now I'm probably not going to go back again. The thai tea had cinnnamon in it, Gross (for me)!!!!!!!!! The boba did not taste fresh. First time my kids commented on freshness of the tapioca. That's saying a lot. Parking is super difficult if you come on a weekend night. Inside, the venue is roomy and big for an ice cream/drink place.

Jigna S.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this place trying to find some hot coffee on a very cold January afternoon, and it was unfortunately closed, but the owner just happened to be walking in and offered to get us coffees anyway! Very cute place, and the owners are incredibly sweet and friendly. Our americano coffees were from a local roaster and just perfect...smooth and velvety! While the owner made us coffee, we learned that they make all of their ice cream in house and using very simple ingredients...milk, cream, sugar :) Very lucky to find this gem in a very busy part of town!! Highly HIGHLY recommend this place!!! We'll definitely be back next time we're in downtown Alpharetta!!

Lori M.

Yelp
Unique concept and fun to watch! Keep in mind it takes a bit longer since everything is made to order. Appreciated the GF options, too. Staff was nice and patient with newbies.

Charlotte L.

Yelp
Awesome service, great ice cream. I definitely recommend this business. I go every week for their rolled ice cream, definitely returning!

Wasim A.

Yelp
yum. apparently yelp has a character requirement for reviews but i have nothing else to say. yum

Bradley H.

Yelp
We just got ice cream here... I brought 3 kids in, the first 2 got their ice cream. The 10 year old ordered at 9:04 and was denied service!!! The employee said "my owner just called and said don't take any more orders, we're closed!" I was a corporate restaurant manager for many years. If you let people in before closing time, and your service takes 3 minutes to service your product and you DENY A 10 YEAR OLD IN FRONT OF HIS FRIENDS!!! Never got his ice cream.... But Dairy Queen is close by. You should apologize or close your doors. You don't know how to treat people in our Alpharetta community. This is the rudest I've ever seen a child treated, let alone in an ice cream place. The owner should be ashamed. You will forever get a negative review from everyone we can influence. Awfulness!!!

Anna S.

Yelp
We went here on a whim after lunch one day. We didn't know what to expect, but absolutely loved the rolled ice cream! It was so light and creamy, and also fun to watch them make it. There's a little glass window to watch are your ice cream is being rolled. I got a refreshing berry flavor and my husband got an espresso one, and we were both impressed! The shop is cute and modern, but I'd also recommend taking your ice cream out for a walk around town. This is a great post-lunch or dinner stop, or just great for a snack break. I'll definitely come here again!

Carolina R.

Yelp
I really liked it, the ice cream was delicious. And the menu they had was good. When we arrived, we saw many people lining up before us, but the ordering was very quick, except that we needed to wait for about 15-20 minutes for 4 ice creams. It was worth it, because the ice cream had great presentation and great flavor. We look forward to going back there.

Anthony N.

Yelp
I came in about 20-25 min before closing and i was refused service. I love "where's the scoop" but the way i was met with an attitude along with the statement "we are not serving you" she claims they were going to be finishing order and that would take 20 min when all i wanted was a small cup of ice cream the attitude was not acceptable the lady claimed to be a team leader. i was refused a corporate number and her name with blatant disrespect i tried to reason with her and never raised a tone. I'm very disappointed in the service and will NOT be going back. This is in Alpharetta georgia.

Brendan N.

Yelp
Ice cream was okay but they skimp out so hard on toppings and everything else like I got one half asses banana and liek a teaspoon of Nutella when it can to the Oreo topping it's was like a pinch

Danielle E.

Yelp
A cute place to get some desserts in the Alpharetta area, the store is pretty hidden behind other restaurants - so keep a lookout for it! I ordered the WTS Milk Tea (right) and my friend ordered a Chai Brown Sugar Milk Tea (left). I enjoyed my drink a lot, not too sweet and a perfect ratio of tea to milk. My friend was surprised with how her drink tasted, she loved the flavor!

Michele S.

Yelp
Worst run ice cream store around. Waited 30 mins for ice cream and when people who ordered way after us received their order, it was just excuse after excuse. Very disappointed.

Grace C.

Yelp
Pretty cute spot in downtown Alpharetta. I don't care for rolled ice cream, but the ice cream itself is so delicious that I find myself thinking about this place! If you love the creamy, but not heavy feeling of ice cream, this is the spot. Only downside is the price compared to the portion, but I would say everything's overpriced in this area anyway.

Mikie M.

Yelp
Our family stopped by for bubble tea and ice cream and we were blown away by the flavors, the quality and the overall atmosphere. I don't know if it was the owner or manager who cared for us but he was just incredibly kind and informative and very passionate about the delightful and fresh treats they were making. We got the taro and strawberry milk teas with crystal boba and lychee and regular boba. My 11 yr old got the pina colada rolled ice cream. All of it was just excellent. We will be back to try more!

Carl B.

Yelp
New management, but same great ice cream! Wife loves this place! Boba tea is excellent and staff is very friendly. Highly recommend!

Michael F.

Yelp
It's ice cream, made with sugar. Which, by the way, is "500 times more addictive than cocaine." The place is clean, the folks are nice, and they are basically selling Crack that's legal. So, what's not to like?!

Jitinder C.

Yelp
Best ice cream shop ever. Great selection and awesome service. I will be coming back for sure with my family. They are upfront about the wait time which is great. Every where you go now days, people have to wait and when you are making fresh ice cream front of you people have to expect to wait. BTW, the ice cream taste so fresh and delicious.

Janice B.

Yelp
I was looking for a place for a client family event and I found "Where's the Scoop!" located in downtown Alpharetta! Perfect for our after school ice cream social. The ice cream is very fresh and is hand rolled on the spot. They offer a variety of flavors and toppings! Their Bubble Tea is delicious with many combinations to choose from. The best part was the staff. They were professional from start to finish! It is an awesome place. Try it! It is sure not to disappoint! The best ice cream in the city! Can't wait for my next visit!

Barbara B.

Yelp
what is the horrid stench in here?!?! i can't take it! not sure i'll be able to tolerate the nasty overpowering smell to eve come back here for a boba!

Lauren L.

Yelp
The ice cream was creative but would not recommend with kids. We had to wait over 30 minutes for our order and there were two families in line in front of us when we arrived.

Paula N.

Yelp
Cute little ice cream dessert place in Alpharetta! We were walking by and spotted it so had to go in and try it out. I got the chocolate wasted and my boyfriend got the s'mores. These are rolled ice cream and is made directly in front of you, which is such a cool experience! I actually liked the s'mores one more than mine, but everything was just so good! They also have desserts, pastries, coffee and bubble tea. Definitely worth trying out!!

Emy P.

Yelp
I come here when I'm in the area! Freshest of milk supplied. Like having it fresh from the cow on the farm! The milk used is fresh and light and creamy! Makes for a Rich and smoothie flavor! Love the ice cream here. A hidden gem for sure

Debra K.

Yelp
Went for tea but got the Vietnamese coffee. It was very good and strong too! Definitely will go again.

Di'Licia C.

Yelp
My nine year old was dying to try boba for the first time. I found this place was pleasantly pleased. Offered great recommendations, with great customer service

Tracy W.

Yelp
I've been a big fan of this shop but the original John's Creek location was a bit out of the way so I couldn't indulge my cravings as often as I would have liked. I was so excited to see this new location! The new space is open and well set up for social distancing. The digital menus are easy to read and the service is super friendly and as exceptional as it was at the original location. And my taro bubble tea was great and hit the spot on a warm summer day!

Tracey Middlebrooks R.

Yelp
Ordered vanilla with Reese's mixed in. They asked if I wanted the Reese's on top or mixed in and I said mixed in. What I got was vanilla with dark chocolate cups on top. I said I asked for Reese's mixed in. The girl said " oh we can't mix that in". I took it, when I tasted it there was no peanut butter in the mini cups either. Disappointed for $5.95

Keen B.

Yelp
Been here a few times and haven't met a icream mix that wasn't delicious! If I had to pick, the Red Velvet mix would be go to.

CrystalandPhilip M.

Yelp
First time here and wow. Had the Pineapple Pants Down and it was so good. Family enjoyed it. Cool location in downtown Alpharetta with lots of other options around. Staff was friendly and some indoor and outdoor seating.
