Austin’s New Restaurant & Bar Openings

"Adding to Austin’s growing scene of “elevated sports bars,” WTF Sporting Club (from the team behind Whiskey Tango Foxtrot on West Sixth Street) is just what the name sounds like. In addition to drinks and fancy bar food like bao bun flights and flatbread pizzas, there are plenty of TVs and a two-story projector screen. " - nicolai mccrary

Austin Bar Whiskey Tango Foxtrot Is Opening New East Austin Sports Bar - Eater Austin

"WTF Sporting Club is a sports bar with food and drinks. The former is centered on casual American and New American dishes; think bao flights, pizza on flatbreads, boneless chicken wings, smash burgers, and desserts. The latter includes the Pebble Beach Paloma, a bourbon-peach smash, the Magnolia Mai Tai, and the Derby Mule. There are also beers, wines, and nonalcoholic drinks. There will be many televisions that will air various games throughout the seasons. There are high-definition televisions and a huge projection screen in the indoor space, with an LED screen outside. The large outdoor area will include bookable private cabanas, as well as a shipping container outfitted as a bar, and a deck for live entertainment. Expect events like DJ sets and podcast recordings." - Nadia Chaudhury

This venue is fantastic! I recently came here to celebrate my husband's birthday 🎂, and the atmosphere was beyond my wildest dreams. Everything was top-notch from the stunning decor to the delectable food and drinks. The staff and owner were incredibly attentive, delivering outstanding customer service that truly enhanced the experience.Every aspect of this bar is meticulously designed-from the exquisite decor to the numerous TVs, including a gigantic plasma TV outside and the beautiful chandeliers. You'll feel like you're in a high-end establishment. I also loved the arcade games and the photo booth, which are perfect for capturing memorable moments. The expansive outdoor patio makes it feel like a full-fledged adult playground. It's a place to dress to impress, as it's quite a popular spot! If you're seeking a fun, stylish, or laid-back evening to celebrate any occasion, this place should be at the top of your list. Kudos to the owner for being a fantastic host with exceptional taste! I highly recommend visiting, and I can't wait to come back!

What a cool spot! Our group loved the elevated vibe. The interior is stylish and cozy and even has an arcade room. The outdoor area was sprawling with yard games, cabanas, ample seating, a stage and massive TV screen for sports. The food was tasty and satisfying as well! Plus the staff was great! Looking forward to going back!

Wondered in on a random Tuesday and the vibe, the bartenders and drinks were awesome. Angela and Josh were pouring. We played music bingo, and the whole vibe was a great time. We did not eat, so we will have to come back for the food. Highly recommend.

The food and drinks were excellent, and the servers and bartenders were incredibly friendly and attentive. The DJ kept the energy up with awesome music. We all had a blast and can’t wait to come back!

This place is a vibe! I love that it stands apart from other sports bars that are all too often dark and grungy. This place has sophistication and fun integrated. When the weather is nice, the outside is killer with the stadium style screen and container bar. Definitely going to be my go-to spot for watching sports!

I like bougie cocktails. My husband likes sports bars. The best of both worlds! Beautiful space, clean, fancy, greenery. Plenty of TVs inside. We came to watch the Cleveland Guardians in the playoffs and they were happy to get the game on the TVs above the bar for us! Great wine selection and the food was good. Not particularly creative but good elevated bar food. Service was slow. I know they are new probably some growing pains. They couldn't find wine glasses at one point. The union app was clunky and not particularly user friendly.

Came here to watch a ufc fight. Speaker placement could be a lot better. The feed was choppy, and the projector display cut out a few times. Got the job done in the end.

I recently visited and was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was amazing, creating a warm and inviting space that made me feel right at home. The drink selection was fantastic, offering a wide variety of options to suit any palate. What truly stood out, however, was the staff – they were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that my experience was nothing short of perfect. I highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a delightful evening out
